I got this little treat in my inbox this morning...and literally fell out of my chair. The fabulous Justin and Mary Marantz recently teamed up with the ridiculously talented Gene Higa for a photography and wedding workshop, held at Chamard Vineyards. Together with some of the most incredible vendors...
The last e-session that Studio Foto sent us got such a huge response (in large part due to the fact that the bride was a mean girl on Cake Boss but mainly because the photos were so unbelievably awesome), that we've decided to post a few more of our Studio Foto Favorites!
This shoot was done on the groom's family...
This isn't exactly wedding related, but it's so fun, I decided to share it anyway. We had such a blast working with Sherry and John of Young House Love on their real wedding feature a few weeks back...and, we were so blown away by their approachable style and interior design skills...that we asked them to help us whip our own SMP...
Here at SMP, we love all things Jose Villa. And this incredible e-session is no different! It captures Jose's style to perfection and yet it will also provide you guys with tons of inspiration for your own engagement portraits! Love that.
I mean, COME ON!! How great are these? That car, that dress, that dreamy groom. I am totally obsessed and am keeping my fingers crossed that we'll get to share their upcoming wedding with...
You guys know how I feel about Jose Villa. He is a genius behind the lens. A total genius. My dream in life, or one of them at least, is to get Jose to do a photo shoot with my family in full Jose style. So it goes without saying that anything he sends me, I fall for pretty hard.
This recent engagement session was inspired by the 40's, complete with a ridiculously awesome...
When Ariel Yve sent me today's real wedding, she had the cutest introduction...
"From the moment that I booked the wedding, I thought to myself "Wow! This one is going to perfect for SMP."
Ahhh. I love that. It speaks volumes to what we are doing and makes me so excited about the the work that we are putting out there. To know that an event designer thinks that something is perfect for our site, is well, really cool.
This wedding gives me butterflies. And, for a girl who looks at weddings day in and day out, that says a lot. There is something so blissfully romantic, so Style Me Pretty, about this wedding. Designed by the insanely talented Ariel Yve, it's a lesson in all things beautiful...and I am loving every bit of it.

I teased you a little bit with this wedding in yesterday's inspiration board, but now it's time for the full sha-bang. And it was SO worth the wait. Designed by the completely talented Ariel Yve, based in Cali, the wedding is all about elegance. Chic, refined, absolutely gorgeous elegance.

But, we are bringing SMP inspiration boards back with a passion and we are hoping you guys will help us get the creative juices kicking.

So. Remember last week when I mentioned that we'd be releasing a really awesome, completely chic fashion inspired tool? Well, we've finally put on the finishing touches, the bells and whistles, the touch of pretty to our new feature and we're ready to shout it from the rooftops!
Introducing...Style Me Pretty's brand spanking new fashion Look Book!
Top Row:...
I am always looking for really great ways to package up gifts and such, so when Viola sent me the finished product of her new eco-fabric gift wrap, I swooned. We teased you a while back with a photo or two, but I wanted to let you know that these little babies are now available for purchase at the Chewing the Cud Etsy Shop!
LOOOOOOVE them. I am working on doing a bridesmaids gift round-up (if you have...
You know how much we love details here on SMP. Not only do they make the wedding seem so much more personal, they give guests little ways to smile throughout your entire affair. And this wedding, planned by Crystal at Distinct Occasion, was all about the details. Totally approachable, doable, absolutely lovable details.

We have a really cute wedding for you this morning. A sweet Summertime brunch held on a private estate for about 65 of the couple's nearest and dearest. It was a complete DIY affair, with touches that you are going to LOVE.

Well, I've saved the best of today's real wedding features for last. The oh-so-cute reception. Photographed by Heather Kincaid, this reception is all about fun, with a bit of charm and style mixed in for good measure. There is really no point in me blabbing on and on, when the bride is here to share all of the great details!
From the bride...
My absolute favorite details were the large chalkboards that...
Loving today's featured wedding. It's the perfect wedding really...a beautiful couple, a chic, approachable style, details that are both thoughtful and utterly charming. Heather Kincaid shot the affair and did a beautiful job giving us a window into the day.
We have so much more to come in just a bit...including the CUTEST reception...
The fabulous Heather Kincaid sent us today's featured affair and to me, it is so indicative of her style...natural elegance, approachable gorgeousness. The entire wedding is about as lovely as it gets, with a bride and groom that hand crafted nearly every detail.
Here is a little description of the day from the girl behind the lens. We'll have more from the...
The fabulous Heather Kincaid sent me this wedding and if I had to come up with just one word for it (which, if you know me, is very hard) it would simply be pretty. This wedding is all about the pretty...pretty details, an incredibly pretty couple, an oh-so-pretty style.
From the lovely bride...
From the beginning I knew that I wanted my wedding to be simple and chic and not too over the top. Since we had...
I am OBSESSED with this e-session. Could be my favorite yet. It's so editorial, so style-centric, so edgy. In a world of lovey-dovey engagement portraits, this is such a fun and welcome change. And of course, two of my favorite photographers, Paul and Krystal of Studio Foto, are behind the genius!
And although the railroad shots are completely and totally awesome, this next set is ridiculous. LOVE them.
So, most of you know that before I started SMP, I was a stationery designer. After working in a little boutique paperie in San Francisco, I fell hard for all things paper. And have since been a bit of a paper snob. Letterpress, perfectly engraved designs, thick, soft papers...it all really gets me going.
Which is why I am so surprised to really love this little video I spotted over on...
