We have cozied up with Crate and Barrel (one of my all time favorite brands) to do an INCREDIBLE wedding registry giveaway worth $4,000. All you have to do, is sign up through SMP for a Crate and Barrel registry (a legitimate, active registry) and you’ll be entered to win a shop card worth a high-kick inducing four grand. Here are this week’s favorites, all about celebrating Summer!

1. The brilliant, must have Panini Grill. This little baby is absolutely awesomeness…allowing you to make those restaurant worthy sandwiches, complete with ooey gooey cheese and super crisp bread. The perfect meal for entertaining your friends without a lot of fuss.
2. LOVING these melamine plates. They are ideal for backyard parties and would look fabulous with a yummy panini set on top! The cute pattern is both casual and chic, so you don’t have to go overboard with your other decor. Love that.
3. A beverage jar. I swear, I am heading out to Crate and Barrel today to pick a few of these up as they are such a great accompaniment to a summer soiree. Fill them with lemonade for the kiddies and sangria for the adults and you have a really fun, help-yourself-way of serving cocktails!
4. To ensure that you are cranking out really good food, I am loving this panini cookbook. With tons of really good, casual and fancy recipes, there is something for every type of gathering.

I love crate & barrel and this giveaway is fantastic. My four registry must-haves right now are: (1) Plush bedding that makes you want to jump right in, like the peninsula bed linens (http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=1624&f=29748&q=peninsula&fromLocation=Search&DIMID=400001&SearchPage=1 );
(2) Bistro serving bowls for large dinners - they are crisp and white, and can be dressed up or down;
(3) A couple of ottomans, like the Abaca ottoman, for putting your feet up, using as small tables, or even extra seating for guests;
(4) The cruet jug for mixing my own salad dressings, and the matching green recycled glass jars for kitchen storage and decoration. I love the classic, french countryside look. (http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=395&f=32460&q=cruet+jug&fromLocation=Search&DIMID=400001&SearchPage=1 )
1. Our #1 must have is C&B's Peninsula Cotton-Linen Duvet Cover. It looks like a canvus and goes with everything so we mix and match lots of colors in our room. It was the first thing we could both agree on right away.
2. Cuis Mlticld 12 Piece Set of Stainless Steel Pots and Pans! We are tired of using hand me downs and worring about the bottoms chipping and going into our food. Yuck.
3. Knives (Classic Block Set 8 Piece). They are about the only thing my fiance "reeeaaallly" wants. If all we got was a good set of knives he would call our registry a success.
4. And of course the colorful Parker Bowl Set (of 5). Perfect for salads or popcorn or just baking. The colors are beautiful and are just what we need do spice up a boring white kitchen!
We just started our C&B registry last week, so their fabulous products are fresh in my mind!
1- The Parker Bowl set. I know these have been mentioned before, but the fun colors are great and I love having several sizes to choose from for preparation or serving.
2- Pineapple Slicer. I can't wait to try this one out! I love pineapple but hate all the work that goes into slicing one.
3- Kava 4-piece place setting. We picked this for our everyday dishes. I'm excited to have stylish dishes to enjoy our meals together.
4- 4 qt digital slow cooker. We both work, and it would be great to come home at the end of the day and already have dinner waiting for us!
A panini grill! Much more fabulous than our current George Foreman. I love making eggplant, mozzarella, and sun-dried tomato sandwiches. So, this would be so helpful! Here are our top four items:
1. The Stella Vase. I love the simplicity of it. It would lend itself perfectly to the fluffy, blue hydrangeas we have outside our apartment right now!
2. The Charleston Centerpiece Bowl. This is a must have for any kitchen. Would look equally elegant housing fresh limes and lemons as it would our gold and silver Christmas bulbs!
3. The Bed Tray Palau. I love the dark wood finish that is a contrast to our light colored bedding. Great for resting our books on or for a little breakfast in bed.
4. The Organico Blanket. Speaking of reading, I would love to cozy up with a good book, some chai tea, and this blankie on a crisp autumn morning!
1. I am loving the Oona flatware. I registered for the 50-piece and the 20-piece, plus the servers! 2. I can't wait to get some new pots and pans as well! I chose the All Clad MC2 8-piece set because of the great quality and good price. 3. I am in love with the modernity of the Bistro 2-slice toaster. It's so modern and sleek! 4. I just added the herb keeper. My fresh herbs always dry up and go bad so quickly so I'm hoping this will help!
I am psyched about the possibility of winning a panini grill! Here are my favorites:
1. The Lumimarja White Tablecloth is absolutely beautiful and would make any table into something special.
2. Cast Iron Round Skillet is a must have for any kitchen--I can't believe I've gone without for so long!
3. The Cake Tester. It seems silly, but for some reason I never have toothpicks around and a fork makes too many marks. Plus, this is just too cute!
4. The Lily Vase is so elegant and will look great filled with flowers.
Crate and Barrel Giveaways make my day! Our four must haves for our registry are:
!. A grill pan since we can't use a real grill at our apartment.
2. All-Clad pots and pans. They are really nice quality and we are ready to get rid of our not so nice pans that we have had since graduate school days.
3. The Roulette everyday dishes from Crate and Barrel. The design is classic and will never go out of style. So excited to have coordinated dishes!
4. Nice wine glasses. We registered for the Oregon style at C & B.
My fiance panini-ifies anything he can find to eat! We are getting married in September and are moving into our first home this month. Thus our top 4 obsessions on our registry for entertaining are: 1) stemware storage case (essential for moving) 2) contessa back to basics (everything she makes on that show makes me salivate) 3) rapid cool wine chiller for keeping white wine cool on the back deck and 4) a whole slew of 4x6 Acrylic Block Frames to make a picture wall of shots from our wedding! I heart C&B giveaways and SMP!
Hi! I've already registered with Crate and Barrel, but is there anyway my registry can be linked through SMP? I've been reading the blog for awhile now and LOVE the great ideas and suggestions! I'm also in love with everything crate and barrel! Thanks!
I love these Crate and Barrel giveaways! Here are the four must-haves from my registry. 1. I am desperate for a KitchenAid Mixer. There are so many recipes I’m dreaming of making that require a mixer so I had to add it to our registry. 2. The Smartpower Premier Stainless Steel Blender will be perfect for making smoothies this summer. 3. I’m in love with the Lindsey Paisley linens. The pattern is so chic and classic. 4. The Pure Serving Bowls would be the perfect addition to our dinnerware. They’re very clean and modern looking.
We're just starting out, and we both love cooking and are finally getting a chance to swap out our cheap stuff with the real thing (yes!), so our four essentials are sort of the classic basics: (1) the Cuisinart Food Processor, (2) the Calphalon Tri-Ply Copper Saucepans, (3) the GreenPan Casserole (we're all about sustainables!), and (4) the Parker Bowls for prep.
We are so excited to get a few very practical items from our C&B registry, especially the "Maison" place settings--so crisp and timeless--and the "Gourmet" flatware--so jazzy looking and they feel fantastic in hand!
But in terms of splurges, we would LOVE LOVE LOVE the panini grill! It's on our reserve list, since we can't justify putting it on until people have bought more practical items...another splurge would be the Dubois Square mirror...so stylish!
Thank you so much for such a great giveaway. My hubby-to-be and I just completed our registry and we both bee-lined straight to the following:
1. Kitchenaid Mixer (literally the first one we signed up for, I just love all of the great attachments you can put on them. As a dessert fanatic we of course signed up for the ice cream maker (there is nothing better than homemade ice cream!) and the pasta maker (also a necessity when you have an Italian heritage!))
2. Fondue pot...My fiance and I met abroad in Switzerland and ever since that fateful trip five years ago fondue reminds us of our first date. We love the stuff! (both cheese & chocolate, yum!) We think that this represents so much of who we are as a couple that we are gifting mini fondue pots at our wedding as favors.
3. Le Creuset Fry Pan...I would agree that a cast iron pan is a must, my fiance loves to cook with the one we have (I know how lucky am I that my future husband loves to cook?!!). Currently we have one of those "Lodge" cast iron skillets that you can't clean with soap and it's honestly the vain of my existance sometimes! So I'm super excited and will be extremely thankful to whoever gets me one of these puppies. They come in great colors too!
4. Breville Juicer. I just love LOVE freshly made natural juice, there is nothing better for you! This super awesome piece of modern machinery allows you to have the best juices without even needing to peel the fruit (how great is that?)...or go to Jamba Juice. So excited!
Mmmmm....Panini's are always such a treat, it would be so great to have them at home! My registry must-haves are 1. The Ona Pitcher, its so fun and chic, 2. All Clad Lasagna Pan, you could use it for almost every casserole/lasagna/roast you make 3. The Wüsthof Ikon 8-Piece Knife Block Set, for everything you'll ever need to chop and they are like jewelry for your kitchen counters! 4. and i just love the Tomato bowls! you can use them to serve your food or to keep them in the fridge without getting more dishes dirty, i love them!!
Our crate and barrel registry has a (1) pancake warmer; (2) tan paisley duvet cover; (3) stainless steel utensil holder; (4) a charlemagne serving set. My fiance would probably kill for that panini press. He's a super sandwich and burrito afficianado.
No joke, I have been mixing cakes, cookies, etc by hand for over a year (since we got engaged) in anticipation of the Power Advantage Chrome 5 Speed Hand Mixer! My other C&B loves include the Cast Iron Round Skillet for yummy cornbread, the gorgeous Flare Mango Wood Bowl, and the Set of 12 Appetizer Spoons- so cute!
I also just had to post to say... how AMAZINGLY easy the C&B website is to use when editing the registry. We went to register in store and wanted to make some adjustments online and I love that my little items are pictured at the bottom of my screen and that I can edit quantities or delete things all from the same page. Really user friendly and wonderful!!
I cannot wait to receive Crate and Barrel gifts through my registry! Here are my picks:
1. All-purpose pitcher (http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=370&f=15011 ). Classic and lovely.
2. I LOVE the cold-beverage jar (http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=370&f=23882 ). So fun for parties.
3. OXO Mandoline (http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=746&f=4406&q=mandolin&fromLocation=Search&DIMID=400001&SearchPage=1 ). I've been holding off on buying one for YEARS so that I could save it for my registry.
4. The large Chelsea platter (http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=255&f=32245 ). White - so anything will look appetizing on it - and timeless.
I have been coveting All-Clad pots and pans for years. So this is an easy one :)
1) All-Clad fry pan 2) All-Clad saute 3) All-Clad stock pot and 4) All-Clad accessories. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the panini maker. We would certainly use it all the time.
funny thing is - a panini grill is actually one of our must-haves!! my FH is in love with paninis and can't wait till one of those babies makes it into our home.
for 2,3,4 - 2) we would love to have the 1.5 gallon compost pail, so we can start a great garden! 3) the cuisinart 8 bottle wine cellar, to satisfy the wine-loving wife. 4) the cookbook stand, so we can cook our little hearts out without getting the pages of our beloved books dirty.
Thanks for the fabulous giveaway!
Well firstly the panini grill from C&B is actually at the top of our list! My fiance is obsessed with sandwiches and I love to try out different combinations. We live in NYC and have a miniscule kitchen so we really want the panini grill to be able to get a little creative and have fun making meals. 2. the small Greenpan frying pans so we can cook up our eggs or other small items in a healthful way 3. Avocado Slicer since I love to add some fresh avocado to meals 4. The Mango wood Chestnut bowl and salad servers are georgeous and would look great on any table whether formal or informal! Thanks for having such a great giveaway!!!
We love to entertain, and so most of our faves are the things that we can imagine adding to the fun of having friends over (if we recover enough from wedding planning to ever entertain again). In no particular order: 1) The Mirabel Decanter; 2) the Square Chip and Dip; 3) the Slate Board; and 4) the Cambridge two-tier server.
We are big entertainers too! I have been eyeing (1) that beverage jar, (2) a mandolin to get the perfectly sliced veggies, (3) Cookie Cutters for the whole year and (4) the Parker bowls for prepping before cooking!
1. Knives!! Have you tried cutting a pineapple with 1 dull knife? Not clean or fun, so we desperately need them! Wüsthof Classic Black 10-Piece Knife Block Set
2. Cuisinart 9Cup Food Processor: So many recipes to try out and this little electronic can make them a reality!
3. Oxo Salad Spinner I'm tired of buying bagged salads, I just want to make my own already.
4. Cold Beverage Jar w/Spigot: I agree these are the cutest, funnest containers to hold fresh cold lemonade. Ahhh :)
Woohoo for another fantastic giveaway!!!
1. Kitchen Aid stand mixer- I don't think I've come across a registry that hasn't had this baby listed and it's definitely one of my own personal favorites.
2. China- I doubt I'll ever buy another set, so it's nice to have a beautiful set now and forever
3. All purpose wine glasses- I don't know much about wine, except to drink it, so it's nice to have an all purpose glass that won't terrible offend white or red wine fans.
4. Chelsea Platters- these go with everything!
Hurray for Crate and Barrel. My finace and I both cook, plus I love to bake so I can't wait to register for lots of fun kitchen gadgets. My top 4 of the moment:
1. 9 cup cuisinart food processor- we need one of these bad since our old food processor is broken. Hello pesto, hello soups.
2. Microplane Grater/Zester- we are currently zesting lemons with our big clunky cheese grater, ha.
3. Molcajete- who can say no to fresh guacamole?!
4. Triad Wine Tower- would be such a classy way to store our small but growing wine collection. (One of the plusses to living in the Bay Area)
I bought my mom one of these panini presses for Christams last year and would love to have one of my own. Crispy bread, gooey cheese, what's not to love?
It's hard to stop at just four, but if I had to give our most coveted items they would be: 1. KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer. We are avid watchers of the Food Network and I can never stop drooling over the stand mixers they use. I love to bake goodies and dream about the day when I can banish my hand mixer to the cabinet forever. 2. Bake and Store Brownie and Cake pans. I do bake alot and we always have leftovers in the fridge covered with saran wrap or foil. I hate this because they don't preserve the cake very well and they are messy. Love the lids these pans come with. 3. Emerge Flatware. We moved in together a year ago but we still have our merged sets of various flatware pieces. Can't wait to get a whole matched set! 4. Chelsea platters. We love to entertain and always find we don't have enough serving flatware. These are perfectly modern, elegant and simple.
Four must hagevs:
Cold Beverage Jar
Delano 3-Piece High Dining Table/Barstool Set
Compost Pails
and Rectangular Cast Iron Grill Press
Thanks :)
I must have an immersion blender, the Marimekko Lehtimaja Bed Linens in the pretty new blue color, the grand hotel flatware, and the rabbit wine opener! Oh, and a kitchenaid stand mixer, but doesn't that go without saying?
Our number one item - the Parker chairs. We want something where we love the lines and can reupholster as needed. The parents were pushing for a sofa selection, but we decided we are too fickle to love a sofa for more than 1 few years. Number two is the strong blue greens in the Marimekko Lehtimaja Bed Linens - I love this with whites and greys. Number three is the White Pearl Dinnerware. I have tons of random patterned pieces and we're thinking we can pull some larger parties together by having white pieces to work with. And finally, we love the Theater Popcorn Popper. We were staying with friends during the summer road trip and loved the popcorn it made!
Just created our C&B registry. Until now, I've been fairly intimidated by the registry process. Thanks for the push, SMP! Our four must-haves are: 1. Krups Burr Coffee Grinder (We're a coffee-centric couple.) 2. Kitchenaid Artisan Black StndMixr (So sleek!) 3. Oxo 14-piece Knife Block Set (Nothing says "Just Married" like a knife block set! We'll use it for years and years.) 4. Cuisinart Food Processor (It's a wonder I've lived this long, having never owned one!)
Our top four registry must-haves are: 1) A set of knives! I've heard a rumor you're not supposed to gift newlyweds knives, but we would seriously give up everything else for a really really good set of knives. 2) A cake carrier - I'm the go-to cake baker for birthdays among friends and coworkers, and I always have to balance the cake on a plate with a giant bowl over the top protecting it from the elements! I desperately need a pretty, practical carrier. 3) Anything Calphalon - we have been using IKEA pots and pans, and it's time to step it up! 4) A large wall mirror - it'll really open up the space in our entryway, plus the only mirror in our entire house is in the bathroom! We absolutely love the C&B Seguro mirror and our furniture completely ties in with the different shades of wood (but it's a little pricey!). Thanks for the wonderful giveaway SMP!
My Top 4 Crate and Barrel Must Haves:
1. Storage cases for serving dishes, stemware and dinnerware. Keep your wedding china looking beautiful for years to come!
2. A beautiful wooden chopping board like the End Grain Chopping Board will really spice up the kitchen.
3. The Water Lilly Bowl is a versatile piece for home decor.
4. Prevent wine stains on the carpet with wooden Wine and Dine cocktail trays, a must for the smart hostess.
Oooo--gourmet sandwiches! Even my man could learn to cook with this thing... :)
4 must-haves on the registry:
A Mario Batali dutch oven--great for oven or stove cooking. So many meals will come from this! And the red color is cheerful:)
A Cuisinart slow cooker--for the busy, dual-income family (looove the ease of it!)
A Cuisinart food processer (we love homemade soups and this would make it so much quicker)
A Swoon Caraft--while alone or entertaining, it just ups the elegance factor of drinking wine!
1) - Kitchenaid Stand Mixer. I have been dying for one of these for over 3 years
2) OXO Ten Piece Pop Container Set - you can't go wrong with air tight containers!
3) Herb Keeper.... I already have one of these for fresh parsley and really really wanting one for my oregano!
4) Any baskets or storage items... I'm an organizational freak!
I love Crate & Barrel! My four favs are 1-Stainless Chafing Dish 2- Cuisinart Food Processor 3- Shesham and Ceramic Three-Part Server & 4- large Ona Pitcher.
My fiance and I had the best registry experience at Crate & Barrel! Our top four must-haves are 1) The Panini Grill. I'm a vegetarian and would love to make portabello paninis on this! 2) SmartPower Preminum Blender. Our current one is on its last leg, and this Stainless Steel one would look oh-so-good in our kitchen. 3) Party Beverage Server. This is big enough to hold a couple bottles of wine and several beers -- perfect for entertaining! 4) Six Piece Bakeware set. Everything I need to make cookies, brownies, banana bread and more!
I LOVE me a toasted warm sandwich or pita! That would be a definite bonus to the other gifts from our registry! My must-haves are definitely the Cuisinart Mini Prep food processor for easy storage and easy food prep (great for making salsa); the Cuisinart 6.5 quart Slow Cooker, because you can seriously make anything in these things (and they are super easy to use); the Cha Cha Pitcher for any refreshing summer drink; and last but not least is the Miranda Trifle Bowl, because not only can you make a beautiful dessert in it, but when you are not using it, it makes a beautiful table centerpiece with some fruit or decorative balls! Pick me! :)
Ooooooh. I love these Crate and Barrel registry contests! So much fun.
As a many time bridesmaid to friends who always register at C&B, I have seen many of the goods in great use! Here are my top 4 Crate and Barrel must haves:
1. KitchenAid Artisan Mixer (I love a bright color myself, but fiancé is pushing for Flat Metal. He does most of the cooking, so I guess I will give him that.)
2. Cold Beverage Jar ( I am dying for a lemonade stand at my wedding, and will probably borrow 3 from friends for the wedding, but it is DEFINITLY on our registry)
3. Appetizer Plate Set. ( These are great for entertaining. We often have friends over on our patio for wine and cheese, and these would make our visits a little bit fancier-- out with the yucky paper plates).
4. Acacia Chip and Dip ( A great centerpiece to any table, of course! Chips and Salsa or Pita and Hummus? )
Phew--- that was fun.!
Thanks SMP and Crate and Barrel!
Oh love this contest! I love everything from Crate and Barrel! My fiance and I love coffee and tea and two of our top must haves are the Chambord french press and Uplife Brushed Stainless Steel teakettle. I am loving the Cold Beverage Jar and now putting that in our registry. I am also obsessed with the OXO pop containers!
Another contest? how generous! My registry must haves:
1. kitchenaid mixer!
2. a great santoku knife
3. a set of nice serving dishes
4. food processor
Thanks SMP and C&B!
Let's see...
1)mandolin (vegetable chopper). We spend so much time chopping our vegetables into small pieces, this will be such a time saver for every meal.
2) any one of our caphalon pans on our registry. The pans we have now are showing wear in the teflon coating and it's making me nervous about using them
3) Queen sheets. Right now we are using one set that we wash once every other week. We usually end up forgetting to change it into the dryer until almost bedtime and I have to stay up late to wait for them.
4) Cookbook stand with splash shield. Our favorite recipes in our cookbooks have all sorts of food and water stains, it'll be nice to use them without getting food on them.
My four registry must-haves: Abigail Paisley King Duvet Cover because we love paisley AND green! The cold beverage jar is definitely up there – such a chic way to serve cold drinks! Calphalon nonstick cookware...because I'm dying for some decent quality pots and pans. The Acacia Wood Chip and Dip — so beautiful you almost don't want to use it. Almost.
I am sooo excited about this amazing contest!!!!! My 4 registry must haves are...... (in no particular order)....
1.The Beverage Jar. I know I am copying the idea, but I have seriousbly been looking for one for months!!!! I have wanted one for a long time so that I can make big batches of lemonade with fresh mint leaves and every single one that I find is cheap and has a plastic spout. I want that jar sooo bad!
2. Kitchenaid Professional 600 Stand mixer. My future sister-in-law has one and I drool and swoon over it everytime I see it on the kitchen counter. Sign, the breads I could make!
3. The Calphalon waffle maker. It's so pretty! I think we would be eating waffles morning noon and night! hmmmm maybe we could create a waffle cookbook!
4. The 20 piece Iona Flatware (2 sets please) A beautiful set of silverware just makes me feel giddy and excited to eat dinner!
This contest is wonderful! Our registry must haves are 1. Bodum fondue set: such a fun entertaining piece 2. Calphalon contemporary non-stick frypans: kitchen essentials! 3. Kitchenaid artisan stand mixer: a great baking tool 4. Cuisinart SmartPower Blender: for those margaritas and smoothies!
This is an amazing giveaway! The food that can be made on a panini grill are virtually endless; right now I'm craving a brie cheese and raspberry jam sammie-yummy! I love Crate and Barrel and think that this registry series is absolutely brilliant. The four must-have registry items for my fiance and I are:
1. A good, basic set of Wusthof knives. We have been suffering with hand-me down knives and knives from Ikea that really do some damage to our food (and not in a good way!).
2. A Cuisinart food processor. Like the panini grill, you can do so much with a food processor. I had one in my kitchen at work and have been eying them ever since. Use them to grate cheese, make purees, whip up a pie crust-amazing appliances.
3. A cute cake stand. That way, you can display all the beautiful and not-so-beautiful baked creations for the guests that are sure to want to be visiting the newlyweds at their new home.
4. Lastly, a le Creuset dutch oven. I love the look and functionality of these little buddies. They're so beautiful you can leave them out on the stove and they just look like decorations!
I love this contest! Very exciting!
My four must haves are:
1. Cuisinart stainless cookset!
2. bamboo ceiling pot rack, it's going to look amazing!
3. Fine dinnerware for dinner parties!
4. Magarita Glasses for my fiestas!
OMG that panini grill looks amazing. My fiance and I are big on entertaining.
I really want our:
1. waffle iron (my mom used to make homemade Belgian waffles one a month)
2. creme brulee torch (I love to bake and creme brulee is one of my fave desserts. We got engaged in Paris so it's very special to me)
3. Our sheets (God we need new ones)
4. Towels (again, ours are so old and don't match. We have some old yellow ones from my college days, green ones from my post college days, burgundy ones from his old house, etc)
We are moving to a new apartment next week and would love to win!
1. Vendome II Bed
2. Brighton Storage bench
3. Puzzle book case
4. Ripple leather office chair
We love Crate and Barrel! Our favorites are 1. the All-Clad stainless cooking set 2. the Cuisinart food processor 3. the Wusthof classic knife set and 4. the Breville electric kettle
Thank you for this amazing giveaway!!!
OOOH! A panini grill! What a fabulous idea! We're always making sandwiches during the week since we're always on the go. As for our top 4 registry items, we love cooking for each other and friends, so our registry if full of items that will help us entertain in style.
1. Lodge Cast Iron Skillet – I’m a burger fanatic and recently read an article about how these can help you create that “perfect” burger – my fiancée wants one to surprise me one day with his “unique” burger of love.
2. Calpalon Contemporary Stainless Flat-Bottomed Wok – I’ve never owned a wok but I have all these asian spices I want to try out! So this Wok if a MUST.
3. Tripoli Server – Every year for Easter, I throw a tea party for all my girlfriends. We dress up in nice hats, and I make tons of little sandwiches and snacks while everyone else brings types of tea to try. This would be perfect in displaying all my finger snacks.
4. Footed Cake Platter with Dome – My fiancé’s favorite cake is red velvet with cream cheese frosting. Every year for his birthday I make a 3 layer version for him. I’d love one of these to store it in (rather than my little plastic containers)
On our C&B registry... the top 4 most haves are...
#1 The 23oz Bedside Carafe. I love drinking water and i get up at least once in the night for a glass, so this will be such a nice and convenient treatment for me & for my fiance who is a light sleeper.
#2 Acacia Wood Dip Serving bowl. Love it! We host a lot of get togethers at our home. This bowl matches our dark wood mid century modern home decor perfectly!
#3 The Starburst Bowl. I die!!! Need it in our kitchen so badly!
#4 Asparagus Steamer. Maybe it seems boring, but we both love our asparagus. It would be quite nice for the little treat to have its very own cooking pot.
Panini Grill?! WOW! That's one of the things I haven't gotten around to registering for yet...hmmm. My four Crate and Barrel must haves are: 1. Calphalon 10 piece set - pricey but worth it (my parents have them, I know how well those things clean up!). They'd be a great way to "start" a kitchen, as my fiance's pots and pans are a bit worn 2. Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer - it's almost a cliche registry item, but I make up for not cooking by baking. I would not be one of those brides that let sit on the counter unused! Actually I hope I get one at my shower so I can make the favors with my own mixer lol. 3. Delish Cake Platter - sounds silly, but it goes hand in hand with the baking. Not only would the presentation be amazing on this thing, but the ease of frosting cake - priceless! 4. Cuisinart Food Processor - my favorite pie crust-making method. Wow. Guess there's a baking theme. Thanks for the giveaway!
This is our favorite SMP give away! The panini maker (and book) was the first item we registered for after we got engaged. It's so versatile with all of the savory and sweet items to make from gooey grilled cheese sandwiches to nutella paninis. 2. We adore the Allegro Extension Table so that we can entertain for 4 just as easily as 8 with the leaf. 3. The new Nambe wood salad bowl is beautiful and perfect for eating healthy. 4. And lastly, we couldn't make our Sunday brunch without the Villaware waffle maker. Thank you so much!
My C&B favorites are the beverage jar (we registered for 2 of them!), the Cuisinart electric fondue pot, the Parker bowl set, and the cookbook stand. The beverage jar and electric fondue pot for the many parties and get-togethers and the parker bowl set and cookbook stand for all of my cooking and baking! I love the latest colors of the parker bowl set, the purple and teal are gorgeous and will match the colors in my wedding!
Cuisinart Popcorn Popper-After many air popped popcorn burns (side of neck being the latest) this little invention is a must have. It’s an air popper that won’t leave you darting hot little kernels because the top is the bowl and catches all the popcorn…genius!
Three Tier Cupcake Stand-Why? Why not?! I love it. Such a cute and fun way to display deserts for one at our next soiree.
Smartpower Premier Stainless Steel Blender-I obsess over this blender every day. I still have my college blender which saw too many “margarita nights” without proper cleaning and now barely chops ice. My strawberry protein shakes are more like strawberry balls in water. I so need this powerhouse.
Classic Two Slice Toaster-This toaster is like a really good 50’s sitcom. You know what you are going to get and there is just something so timeless and cute about it you can’t resist.
My registry must haves:
1) Breville juice extractor
2) Kitchen Aid immersion blender
3) C&B picnic table (we go on a lot of picnics)
4) Smartpower Steel blender to replace my hokey one from university.

3. SmartPower Blender-- just because. I'm sure I'll use it!

For me, the definition of registry "must-haves" is items that are solid, quality, attractive, and that you will use for at least the better part of a lifetime. Of course, it's always nice to throw some fun and trendy items in there as well! But, for my must-haves: 1) A large (5+ quart) dutch oven, especially the enamel-coated cast iron ones like the Mario Batali ones at C&B (in a lucious red) or the Le Crueset version, which come in more colors; 2) A set of quality forged knives, like the Wuestof Classic or Calphalon Contemporary sets at C&B; 3) A nice stainless multi-pot, like the Calphalon Contemporary Stainless Multipot at C&B - multi-pot means mlutiple purposes, so it will get double the use! ; 4) Nice flatware of 18/10 stainless (won't stain and looks shiny!). I especially like the Couture Flatware set at C&B. Flatware really makes eating nice meals so much more enjoyable - and don't forget some serving pieces like the 5-piece matching Couture Serving set!
1. Kitchen Aid Mixer - I didn't know I needed it until I used it and now I can't live without it.

Panini Grill definitely tops our wedding registry's MUST-HAVES. My fiance and I went on a month-long trip to Europe with a very limited budget so we practically lived off of panini. We were so poor that sometimes we had to share one in the freezing weather. We of course got really sick of it during the trip but we were able to do so much more sightseeing with the money saved. Now whenever we see anything related to panini, it brings back all the sweet memories. Our dream is to open up a little cafe that sells panini, coffee, and gelato. There are so many wonderful things at Crate & Barrel. Right now my top four is the beverage jar (we are using blue toned mason jars at our wedding and this matches them), the lemonade pitcher, the
Calphalon Waffle Maker, and Infin Circ Cookware Set.
It's amazing to me how many seemingly basic items are hard to track down other than at Crate & Barrel -- like barbecue skewers and a decent potato masher! Who knew? But, topping the must-have charts for my guy and me are:
1. Quality knives like the Wusthof Ikon block set. I cook constantly, and I have a feeling that I'll be lucky if the wiggly tangs on my trusty Chicago Cutlery chef's knife make it through the 198 days until the wedding. Knives like these can really last a lifetime with proper care.
2. KitchenAid Pro 600 mixer with as many attachments as possible (Hello, homemade pasta and ice cream. Yum!). We've just agreed to host our families in our tiny Brooklyn apartment for Thanksgiving for the second consecutive year. Hopefully this baby will make the process a little less labor-intensive so my fiance and I can spend more time with our loved ones and less time slaving over mixing bowls. Last year was 12 people, and I think we'll be up to 14 this time around. Wish us luck!
3. The Ricci Room Divider screen, to give my sweetie some focused, semi-private space at the piano while he's composing AND spare me from having to look at the music gear-filled living room corner when he's not.
4. The Metropole Chair - At more than a month's rent, this one is a bit of a pipe dream, but I can't imagine anything better than having this gorgeous, worn-in-looking leather chair to curl up in while reading a book (or finishing knitting the huppah for the wedding), snuggling the cats, and listening to my fiance play. It reminds me of battling with my cousins over who got to sit in my grandpa's old leather chair. Maybe my grandkids will squabble over this one someday.
we love c&b! here's my top 4, even though it's impossible to narrow down to just these! 1. Lindsey Paisley Bed Linens 2. Collapsible Cookbook Stand 3. Invisible Magazine Rack 4. Bamboo Tea Bag Box literally, all someone has to do is name crate and barrel and i picture these things! can't wait to hear the winner!
Oh happy day! This was a bit difficult to narrow down but here goes: 1. Beverage Jar - I think we registered for 2 of the wonderfully practical beverage servers which I absolutely love. 2. Kitchen Aid Mixer (What would a new bride's kitchen be without one? 3. Cuisinart Food Processor - I still live with my parents and my mom and I both decided that it is one of the greatest kitchen tools ever! 4. Calphalon Waffle Maker - I can't wait to wake up with my future husband and make waffles together while listening to Jack Johnson's "Banana Pankakes" :) ...
It's hard to pick 4 faves from so many useful thing! My must-haves are: Healthy Indoor Grill, Peninsula White Cttn F/Q Duvet Cover, All-Clad Universal Steamer w/Lid, and Aluminum Magnetic Knife Holder (sounds goofy as a must-have, but we live in a condo and space is at a premium).
