From the Bride… I’ve always dreamt to marry the love of my life Olivier in Tuscany…Why Tuscany? Well it is absolutely one of the most beautiful destinations with its rolling hills and white roads surrounded by cypress trees…
Last summer, with my beloved and my amazing three boys, we visited Tuscany. We flew from Canada to the amazing Borgo San Felice Resort. As soon as we got there we knew it… it is something that you feel: that was the perfect place for our dream wedding day!! The colors, the light, the smells and the noise of the nature were overwhelming!
One year later we came back to Borgo San Felice with 30 of our closest friends, family and our children. We hired a wedding planner, Valentina Moneglia and with her we were pleasantly surprised at how things turned out to be so simple! She helped us from the very first moment until the “I Do” and she took care of all the details and decor.
We celebrated our love for three days from Friday to Sunday. The Borgo San Felice Resort is an amazing and refined place where we enjoyed great wine and delicious food. The Director, Mr. Guerrini, let us feel like at home and always helped us with any requirement.
On Saturday it was the big day.. With my boys I walked the aisle leading to my love. He was standing in front of the majestic light blue doors of the ancient chapel of the Borgo. Everyone was there looking at us. The ceremony was beautiful, romantic and really touching! It has been the best moment of my life, it was magical!
After taking some pictures around the Borgo with the photographer, Cristiano Brizzi, we enjoyed a breathtaking sunset under the loggia of the Restaurant Poggio Rosso of the Borgo, completely covered with greenery and we were delighted by Prosecco, Tuscan appetizers and the sound of the harp and guitar.
I will never forget how exciting it has been to see the dinner table! It was set on the terrace of the restaurant, with the Tuscan hills on the background and it was rich of dusty light orange and cream flowers and aromatic herbs. All around flowers in jam jars and white paper balls hanged at the beams. Also the childs table was amazing… rich in candies and lollipops!
Everything was perfect from the piano, the lights, my husband, my children, my friends and family, the weather and the wedding cake… I couldn’t have asked for a better day!!
