These travel posts are proving to be terribly dangerous for me (and my wallet, primarily). My vacation bucket list has grown exponentially since they began, and I often find myself daydreaming of far away places and the things I would get up to. Though these wonderful European cities have always been on said list, they have quickly risen to the very top thanks to Lexia Frank and her most recent voyage.

So, I kind of want to steal this wedding. And when I say "kind of," I mean I most definitely do. Because this is the kind of day that you think only exists in your dreams, until you see it in all of its gorgeousness in the full gallery captured by Jen + Ashley. I'm talking the perfect mix of preppy and island chic with bursts of billy ball bouquets...
One trip to the Big Apple, and it's easy to see why people fall head over heels in love with it. It's got a personality all of its own, so it should be no surprise the people that call New York City home are full of pizazz themselves. And when you pair that personality packed city with a couple with a style all of their own, you get a wedding like this one captured by Reminisce Photography that is nothing short of fabulous.
A wedding that includes a couple riding on a Ferris wheel is a great one in my book. And a couple that took their unfussy, low-maintenance lifestyle and transformed it into a wedding day both simple and insanely beautiful is also a great celebration in my book. This wedding reflects not only the couple but also the beautiful surroundings of Bear Flag Farm. It's love, Ferris wheels and pretty blooms all captured by ...
There are so many ways to make a wedding pop; color being a huge category in that pop scenario (and one of my favorites). It can take a wedding to a whole new level of fresh and modern, just ask this Portland affair designed by Bridal Bliss. Mint, coral, chevron, it's all there and mingling beautifully. See for yourself with all the images by Bryan Rupp sitting pretty...
A black and white wedding at the Ritz is like the mother of all timeless affairs. It's just about as good as it gets. And whether you're a bride-to-be or way past your days of "I do," this modern ballroom beauty will stop you dead in your tracks, guaranteed. You must spend time in the gorgeous full gallery where every photo from ...
DIY weddings hold a very, very special place in my heart. Maybe it's because I am decidedly non-crafty and I find myself in a constant state of awe at what all of you DIYers can accomplish... or maybe it's that each and every detail created is done so with sooo much love and attention. My guess? It's a sweet combination of both that has me so obsessed. And when it comes to this darling Fallbrook affair, it's all of the above, plus a stunning location and an entire gallery of pretty...
Continuing today's lineup of pretty is a St. Paul affair with all the style and spunk we wedding bloggers so love. It's a modern approach to a romantic affair with a bit of whimsy thrown in for good measure. Put on your pinning pants and get ready to swoon, because these captures from Canary Grey Photography are knock-your-socks-off stunning!
I spy a watercolored feather backdrop and for that I am smitten. And if you take a closer look you'll notice that each minute detail is so saturated in pretty that it's almost hard to wrap your head around it all. From edible gold in abundance, to cotton candy cupcakes, to the loveliest place settings I ever did see, I find more to absorb at each and every turn. Photographed by Liz Banfield and designed by the talented ladies at...
I've never had such an immediate adoration for wallpaper as I did when I started sifting through these images but seriously Detroit, you're bringing it with that wall decor. You know who else is bringing it? Julie Pepin Photography, that's who. Because tucked inside this day are portraits as timeless and gorgeous as they come. They are the kind of photographs that children and grandchildren are going to be coveting years from now. They...
Weddings like this are an automatic homerun for me. Outdoor in a super lush, gorgeous green spot. Something I've never seen before, and totally beautiful, as the ceremony backdrop. A reception that looks like something you could wander into a fairy tale and stumble across. And pictures from Janae Shields Photography so beautiful, I literally lost track of time in...
This wedding is all about the beauty of nature – kind of the perfect way to celebrate May Day, don't you think? With a mix of peonies, mint hues and lavender sprigs a plenty fashioned by Table Art, these details really set the scene for an elegant, ethereal feel just as the Bride had envisioned. And with images captured by Alison Conklin, those Bride-to-Be musings were brought...
Australia has casual, yet elegant down to an absolute science. And this beautiful West Perth affair? It's proving my point whole-heartedly with a breathtaking outdoor reception, perfectly imperfect florals and design from The Wild Peony and a seriously sophisticated reception at The Brown Fox styled by ...
Some weddings simply define pretty. With every detail, every flower and every smile - weddings like this one captured by Jesse Leake and designed by Meagan Camp should sit proudly under the definition of the word. Because when you lay eyes on such a party, you can't help but get caught up in every sweet detail, and really why would you ever want to fight it with a ...
To say that this adorable husband and wife duo has stolen my heart would be a massive understatement. From their picturesque Carriage Hill Farm studio, captured by Belathee, to their wedding design & styling sensibilities (these two are good), I am totally and completely on team Sinclair & Moore. We briefly...
The prettiest of color palettes, the gorgeous Intercontinental Chicago and one stunning Bride and Groom? It doesn't get better than that, and after one look at the pretty captured by Orange2 you'll find it certainly doesn't get much more beautiful. It's the story of two high school sweethearts taking on the next chapter of their life in the most gorgeous way, and you can see...
How's this for amazing? A surprise proposal at the uber-gorgeous House of Jazz, a breathtaking photo shoot "fake out" and a beautiful bride-to-be saying "YES" to the love of her life. Pretty spectacular, no? Now add in the fab creative direction of Leslie Passerino, beautiful paper goods from Tartine Paperie and a family...
One of my favorite aspects of blogging for SMP (besides, well, everything) is the opportunity to pour over gorgeous weddings from all across the world. I like to think of it as virtual vacations to the most incredible places imaginable. And today's destination adventure takes us to an ever-so-serene apple farm in South Africa. It's every bit as sweet as it sounds, and with just one look at the gallery of images...
These two sweeties really know how to craft a wedding. I'm talking mason jar candles, fab paper goods, burlap, lace and all kinds of crazy awesome DIYing, people. They (+ their amazing friends and family) are as talented as they come. And not only do they know how to create a fabulous wedding, they also happen to know how to throw a fantastic party. One with yummy BBQ, Elvis (!) and dancing 'till dawn. See every last fun-filled moment captured by...
There isn't a city I love more than I love Paris. How can you beat a place that just happens to be the capital of style, romance and delicious dishes? It's like the trifecta of fabulous - so I don't blame Michelle of Michelle March Photography one little bit for planning a little shoot to capture all that fabulous during her visit to the City of Light. She teamed up with ...
