The color palette was intentionally soft, layered, and refined, drawing from a neutral foundation with romantic depth. Crisp whites and warm ivories set a clean, couture-inspired base, while nuanced mauves and cocoa tones introduced warmth and contrast without overpowering the design. Muted greens grounded the palette and connected the celebration to its outdoor setting, allowing the overall look to feel timeless, elevated, and perfectly suited for a fall wedding at the Bellagio.

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]
This fall wedding at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas felt like stepping into a modern couture editorial—refined, intentional, and rich with understated luxury. The design direction drew inspiration from the timeless Dior silhouette, layering soft texture, clean lines, subtle gold accents, and an overall sense of effortless grace. The Bellagio was intentionally selected for its grandeur, with the sweeping staircase, statuary, and terrace serving as a runway-like backdrop for the ceremony. Textural layering played a defining role throughout the design, from embossed linens that echoed the tactile quality of the stationery to gold foil accents woven through menus, signage, and paper goods as a nod to Dior’s iconic branding. Mauve tones softened the crisp white palette, adding warmth and contrast while maintaining a polished, timeless aesthetic. Every detail was approached with intention, allowing personal elements to feel seamlessly woven into the design rather than overtly themed. Couture-inspired tablescapes, a sculptural cake, a vinyl-wrapped dance floor, and a thoughtfully designed escort display all contributed to a cohesive visual story that balanced fashion-forward elegance with emotional depth. Hidden throughout the celebration were subtle Taylor Swift “Easter eggs,” included as a personal reflection of the bride’s love for the artist. From the Alchemy escort display and intentional table count of thirteen to signature cocktails named Bejeweled Martini, Bad Blood Bourbon, and Pineapple Problems, each reference felt playful yet refined. Musical moments—such as the bride’s processional to an instrumental version of Daylight and the presence of a piano at the ceremony—reinforced the romantic undertone, creating a celebration where elevated design and personal storytelling coexisted beautifully.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]
Bathed in the soft glow of an October sunset, Jake proposed to Justine on a hillside church overlooking the Aegean Sea in Santorini. What began as a quiet walk unfolded into a breathtaking surprise, planned entirely in secret. As the sky shifted to shades of blush and gold, the moment drew in passersby who instinctively paused, sharing in the magic of a love story unfolding high above the sea. Timeless and unguarded, it was the kind of scene that felt suspended in time. Jake and Justine first met in 2016 during late-night college study sessions, both quietly working toward futures in healthcare. Drawn together by effortless laughter, shared ambition, and kind hearts, their connection deepened through seasons of growth—including time spent far from home during graduate school—learning how to mature individually while building a life side by side. Hand in hand, Jake led Justine to the rooftop of the church, where he turned, dropped to one knee, and asked her to be with him forever. Overcome with emotion, she nodded through joyful tears before answering yes—again and again—her laughter and disbelief echoing the beauty of the moment. Both were left shaking, breathless, and overwhelmed in the best possible way, the world momentarily fading as their forever began beneath the Santorini sky.

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]
Fashion played a central role in shaping the couture-inspired vision of the day. The bride wore Maya by Galia Lahav, a statement gown featuring intricately handcrafted 3D floral appliqués that highlighted both artistry and refinement. Gracefully sculpted and undeniably luxe, the gown made a striking impact from the moment she entered. Detachable sleeves added a sense of drama and formality for the ceremony, then were removed for the reception to reveal a softer, more fluid silhouette.

For the bridal party, fashion leaned into an unexpected color story, pairing deep greens with rich mauves for a palette that felt modern and couture-inspired. The bridesmaids wore satin gowns from Revelry in varying shades of green, creating tonal depth while maintaining a cohesive, elevated look. The layered greens played beautifully against the mauve accents woven throughout the day, enhancing the fall palette and giving the bridal party a fashion-forward presence that felt intentional and refined.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]
The floral and décor design for Justine and Jake’s wedding was rooted in restraint, texture, and thoughtful storytelling, drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of Dior. Rather than overwhelming the setting, florals were designed to feel like a natural extension of the architecture and tablescapes—romantic yet elevated, airy yet moody, and always intentional. Each stem was placed with purpose, allowing the arrangements to read almost as another textile layered into the overall design. Justine’s bridal bouquet was envisioned as a moment of quiet impact. While the celebration featured a rich mix of florals and tones throughout, her bouquet remained entirely white, allowing texture and movement to take center stage. Nearly thirty white mini Phalaenopsis orchids were clustered together to create a soft, sculptural silhouette that echoed the delicate floral embroidery of her gown and set the tone for the refined design to follow. Ceremony florals complemented the Italian-inspired backdrop of the Bellagio terrace, with antique, green, and blush hydrangeas adding volume and softness against the stately columns. White Phalaenopsis orchids were woven throughout for continuity, while aisle arrangements rested in layers of greenery and Spanish moss, grounding the space and evoking the feeling of stepping into a cultivated garden. For the reception, florals and décor worked together to create an immersive, editorial atmosphere. Long banquet tables were dressed in richly textured white linens and paired with gold-framed chairs, gold flatware, and refined place settings that felt both classic and couture-inspired. Low, sculptural floral arrangements ran the length of the tables, blending mauve garden roses, ivory blooms, layered greens, and broader tonal accents for depth, while clear glass cylinders with soft neutral tapers added rhythm without distraction. Overhead, lush greenery formed a living canopy that softened the architectural lines of the open-air terrace and created a sense of intimacy beneath it. The design was grounded by a custom vinyl-wrapped dance floor featuring a muted floral motif, scaled intentionally to feel expansive yet understated. Set beneath the canopy, it introduced a couture-inspired graphic moment that tied back to the stationery and reinforced the idea that every element—from tabletop details to large-scale installations—was thoughtfully connected. Together, the florals and décor created a setting that felt romantic, editorial, and deeply intentional.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The evening concluded with a striking three-tiered wedding cake presented in two flavors: vanilla sponge with lemon cream and fresh raspberries, and chocolate sponge layered with chocolate mousse and caramelized hazelnuts. The dessert moment felt decadent and celebratory, serving as a sweet, fashion-forward finale to the dining experience.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]
Music was thoughtfully curated to enhance each moment of the day, beginning with a pianist and violinist for the ceremony, creating an atmosphere that felt romantic and timeless. The live piano served as a subtle nod to the bride’s love of Taylor Swift, with the bride walking down the aisle to Daylight, adding a deeply personal yet understated layer to the moment. As the evening transitioned into celebration, DJ Vinh of Livinh Events took over, keeping the dance floor energized and full all night long with a seamless mix that matched the joyful, fashion-forward spirit of the reception.

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]
As a playful yet refined personal touch, the couple worked closely with their planner to weave thirteen subtle Taylor Swift Easter eggs throughout the celebration, creating moments of delight for guests who noticed the details. One of the most meaningful nods appeared within the seating chart, where Alchemy served as a layered reference to both Taylor Swift and the couple’s own love story, having first met in organic chemistry class. The installation featured lush floral arrangements alongside beakers of varying shapes and sizes, each filled with softly tinted water to complement the wedding palette, blending scientific nostalgia with elevated design. From lyrical moments woven into the paper goods to signature cocktails like the Bejeweled Martini and Bad Blood Bourbon, every reference was thoughtfully integrated to feel intentional rather than themed. The bride’s walk down the aisle to an instrumental version of Daylight, the piano-led ceremony, and even the thirteen-member bridal party tied the narrative together in a way that felt deeply personal, elevated, and seamlessly woven into the overall design.
