Nautical Bald Head Island Wedding Inspiration

I've not yet had the chance to visit Bald Head Island. But after being entranced by this magical shoot from Rachel Red Photography and Kickstand Events, I'm thinking that adding it this secluded destination to my travel wish list might be a good idea. A bit of romance, glitz and glam fits so well with the pristine beachy backdrop of the...

Craft Beer Inspired Wedding

This wedding had me at craft beer.  Well, actually it had me at craft beer, candlelit reception and two high school sweethearts saying I do, but you get the point... it's an awesome celebration.  From the breathtaking setting known as the Brooklyn Arts Center At St. Andrew's to the tables lined with beautiful blooms from Kickstand Events to the...

You know that J Lo movie The Wedding Planner? Slightly embarrassing confession, but it's one of my faves. 1) because a sucker for any and all romantic comedies and 2) because when a wedding planner gets to celebrate her own wedding. Well, that's pretty darn special. Enter, this sweet Bald Head Island Club affair where the beaming bride happens to be one of the creative forces behind ...

Topsail Island, North Carolina Wedding from Theo Milo Photography

If you can scroll through these images and not form the widest grin, you are definitely in the minority. Because all of us over here at SMP HQ are head over heels with this cheerful celebration from Theo Milo Photography. We have Kickstand Events to thank for the lively color palette and bounty of florals gracing all the images, but the cute as can be couple makes it all...

Bald Head Island Wedding from Theo Milo Photography

My sister just recently transplanted herself to the Carolinas and I must say, it's one of the sweetest spots I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. Some of the friendliest people on the planet call the Carolinas home and one look at this wedding and it's obvious that some of the most talented vendors call North Carolina home as well. From the bright, peppy details crafted by Kickstand Events to the photographs by ...

Wilmington Wedding by Theo Milo Photography + Kickstand Events

Good Morning, SMPers and welcome back to another fabulous week filled with inspiration and pretty galore! We are kick starting your morning, sans caffeine, with this fun and spunky North Carolina fete. We totally love the crisp and fresh color palette of green, orange, and white and think the oh-so-fun pattern of the table runners and bouquet wraps lend such a whimsical and festive tone to the day. And how cute are those little flower girls with their tot sized fists of florals? I know...

Wilmington Wedding by Theo Milo Photography

This next wedding is the perfect mix of casual elegance and whimsy and I love that the bride designed and crafted all the elements for the big day. I'm totally digging the juxtaposition of the brick walls with the rustic displays of wheat and eucalyptus in simple, tin watering cans. Theo Milo Photography was on hand to capture all the details including the super cute pinwheels and paper bag covered books. How adorable are they?
