This pretty inspiration shoot captures all the magic of spring: the femininity, the colors, the romance and the whimsy. And let’s not forget about the gorgeous flowers from Evergreen Flower Co.: Icelandic poppies, garden roses, tulips and ranunculus — oh my! It’s all enough to make me forgive these April showers if they’ll promise to bring May flowers as pretty as these. See all the beauty from Nicole Clarey Photography in The Vault!

…Cold and gloomy days in the Midwest had us dreaming of the warm sun and bright pastels, so when brainstorming with the lovely ladies of Events Held Dear we knew we wanted this styled shoot to encompass all of our favorite elements of Spring: femininity, pastels, romance. Building our inspiration around this clean industrial space made for a beautiful contrast between clean lines and the organic details. Evergreen Floral Co’s playful floral arrangements really brought the space to life, there isn’t a flower that screams Spring more than those pretty poppies!
“No matter how long the Winter, Spring is sure to follow.”

From Jenny Haas Photography
…My name is Jenny Haas and I am a Dayton Ohio wedding photographer. I recently shot a beautiful wedding at the Dayton Art Museum with a lot of glitz and glamour so I wanted to share! Heather and Loftur met in college in the states, but since Loftur is from Iceland they lived there for a while. A lot of the guest were from there and it was fun to see two different cultures and traditions come together in one place, and to celebrate one couple :)
Some of my favorite details of the day were the florals, Heather designed them herself [crazy and ambitious!] she did an amazing job! I loved the pops of color and they accented the bridesmaids dresses perfectly. I also thought it was unique that some of the girls wore black gowns and some of them work mismatched pastel gowns. Heather’s gown was simple and elegant.
The tables at the reception were covered with gold table clothes and decorated with blacks and golds. Heather and Loftur made CDS for favors with their favorite songs, and Heather arranged all of the flowers. The Art Institute was the perfect backdrop for all of the details!

At the risk of sounding like my beloved Grandma, I’m going to use the first word that comes to mind with this Ohio wedding. Pizzazz. Yes, this wedding is boasting loads of pizzazz. It might be the “something blue” shoes mixed with a punch of peach or that wickedly delicious dress that has my sass radar in overdrive. Whatever the case, I’m loving every ounce of this wedding and the images by Andrea Dozier? Fantastic displays of imagery I tell you. See it all here!

From Andrea Dozier…When I first met Erin, she shyly told me that they weren’t photogenic, then her & Pete burst out in laughter over some hilarious memory of previous self portraits. I completely disagreed. When two people really care about each other & feel comfortable together, it will show. The way he looks at her & lights up around her is what every girl dreams to find. I took their wedding portraits at Dayton’s Carillon Park. It is a historical museum dedicated to Dayton, Ohio history & pride. There are mini museums & vintage replicas of homes scattered throughout a charming park.
