[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]
The couple envisioned an elegant yet playful coastal celebration that felt warm, welcoming, and effortlessly inviting—more like an elevated island gathering than a formal event. With Islamorada’s stunning aquamarine water as the natural focal point, every design element was thoughtfully chosen to enhance the surrounding beauty rather than compete with it, blending vibrant tropical color with layered textures, cozy lounge-inspired seating, and meaningful personal touches. As evening fell, a glowing, clear tent shimmered beneath the moonlight and the reflection of the waves, creating a romantic, dreamy atmosphere where guests danced beneath the stars and celebrated a night centered around love, family, and togetherness.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]
Like many modern love stories, theirs began online, quickly revealing an unexpected and meaningful connection rooted in family, shared interests, and a love for being on the water. As their lives blended—filled with boat days, travel, time with their children, and everyday moments that felt anything but ordinary—their love continued to deepen most naturally and steadily. On New Year’s Eve during golden hour, Jay proposed on a balcony overlooking the water, a moment filled with warmth, joy, and complete certainty. It was the perfect beginning to the next chapter of their beautifully blended life together, a love story grounded in partnership, gratitude, and choosing each other every single day.

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]The bride wore a stunning Jane Hill gown that perfectly balanced romance and modern elegance, featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline, a beautifully structured bodice, delicate floral detailing, and a flowing full skirt that moved effortlessly in the ocean breeze. A dramatic train and airy veil added softness and grace, creating the most breathtaking silhouette against the Islamorada waterfront. After dinner, she changed into a chic silk reception dress, custom-made by a talented Etsy designer, allowing her to move freely and fully enjoy the evening. The lighter, cocktail-inspired silhouette felt intentional, stylish, and beautifully in tune with the celebration, giving her a second bridal moment that was every bit as special.[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]
Much like grains of sand, no two bridesmaid dresses were the same. A medley of soft florals and understated solids created an elevated coastal look while still giving each bridesmaid the freedom to wear something that felt authentic to her. Together, the dresses felt organic, intentional, and beautifully unified.

[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]For Jay’s attire, a light blue tuxedo was chosen to echo the surrounding sea, creating a look that felt soft, romantic, and perfectly suited to the coastal setting. The groomsmen wore royal blue, adding depth to the overall palette while maintaining an easy, beach-appropriate elegance. Together, the styling struck the perfect balance between refined and relaxed, complementing the day’s elevated yet effortless aesthetic.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]
Guests enjoyed a menu inspired by the Florida Keys, beginning with conch chowder and fresh salads, followed by jerk rum chicken with pineapple salsa, fresh catch with citrus beurre blanc, and a carving station with spiced prime rib. A build-your-own baked potato bar added an interactive touch, while Key lime pie and Cuban chocolate cake beautifully finished the meal. A favorite detail was the signature cocktail bar named after the couple’s dog, Banks, featuring a rye whiskey cocktail for him and a vodka margarita for her, complete with an illustrated portrait that guests adored.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Florals and décor were thoughtfully layered to create an immersive tropical-meets-elegant aesthetic, blending lush island vibrance with refined, design-driven details. Lush arrangements of coral peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, orchids, ginger, hydrangea, and anthuriums were paired with monstera leaves and cascading palms, bringing movement, texture, and bold color throughout the space. Tables were styled with patterned palm linens, rattan details, bamboo flatware, layered chargers, coral napkins, and fluted glass candlelight, striking the perfect balance between playful and polished. Overhead, woven basket pendants and crystal chandeliers dripping in greenery created a magical canopy effect beneath the clear tent, while the bar, lounge spaces, and escort displays continued the storytelling with tropical prints, curated décor pieces, and thoughtful touches that felt joyful, welcoming, and beautifully intentional from every angle.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]
Baked by Maggie’s Bakery, the three-tier semi-naked cake felt like a natural extension of the wedding design—elegant, fresh, and perfectly relaxed for the islands. Our florist adorned it with cascading coral peonies, blush anthuriums, and peach ranunculus, creating a vibrant tropical flourish that made it a beautiful focal moment of the evening.

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]
The ceremony was deeply personal and heartfelt, anchored by vows the couple lovingly wrote themselves. Instead of traditional readings, their words to one another told the story of their journey—Lindsay sharing how Jay became the safest place she’s ever known, and Jay honoring her gift for finding joy and magic even in life’s hardest seasons. “Tuesdays” by Jake Scott became their meaningful song, reflecting their belief that love is built in the everyday moments between the highs and lows. Family remained at the heart of the experience, with all of their children woven into the ceremony to symbolize the beautiful blending of their lives. Before the ceremony, Lindsay and Jay shared a quiet “first touch,” standing back-to-back to read private vows they chose to keep just for each other. These intentional, intimate details grounded the day in love, presence, and connection before the celebration began.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Detail #1 – Music as a Family Thread:
Music was a meaningful thread woven throughout the entire wedding weekend, turning every moment into something deeply personal and connected. The bride’s father, a professional musician, took the stage during the reception to perform songs he had lovingly prepared, and throughout the night, family and friends joined in, transforming the music from entertainment into a shared family experience. From live guitar and violin at the ceremony, to electric violinists at the welcome party, to a full 12-piece band at the reception, music brought generations together and filled the celebration with warmth, joy, and unforgettable emotion.

Detail #2 – Meaningful Bridal Party Gifts: For their bridal party gifts, the couple chose pieces that felt deeply personal and lasting. Each bridesmaid received freshwater pearls sourced from Lake Michigan as a sentimental nod to the bride’s hometown, while the groomsmen were gifted engraved Fossil watches as a timeless keepsake of the day. Both gifts were chosen with intention, meant to be cherished and worn long after the celebration as a reminder of the love and memories they shared.
