When Australian couple, Nissa and Nick swooped up their guests for a destination wedding, it meant the adventure of a lifetime. I’m talking a wedding held at a French castle straight out of a classic fairytale. Nissa looked every bit the bride in a Galia Lahav gown, with makeup by Vata Beauty, and the always incredible Greg Finck captured the photographs that are certain to become treasured heirlooms.

From Greg Finck… Nissa and Nick are a sweet couple from Australia who had decided to plan their wedding in the scenic Gascony region of France. This region, between Bordeaux and Toulouse, is full of hidden gems, medieval castles, and amazing wineries.

Château de Lisse was the perfect backdrop for Nissa and Nick’s wedding. The venue is superbly blended with modern luxuries offering a unique opportunity to get married in a French traditional castle, with its own chapel, huge fireplace, beamed ceilings, and hallways adorned with armour.

Nissa and Nick had chosen to surround themselves with only their closest family and friends. The ceremony was held in the castle’s chapel, with beautiful floral design by Le Coeur Sauvage. The cocktail hour was al fresco on the castle terrace, before an elegant indoor dinner. The bride had brought her very own linen for the table, which was beautifully decorated with a flower garland.
