I have been patiently (or maybe not so patiently) waiting for the fabulousness that is The Ace Hotel to be showcased in all of its glory at an uber chic wedding. It is the IDEAL backdrop… a little bit retro and a whole lot of cool. So you can imagine my excitement, and maybe a bit of squealing, when I came across Sarah and Andrew’s October wedding shot by Abi Q photography. The blogger gods must have been shinning down on me because this lovely, lovely shindig is perfection squared.

From the photographer:
Ever since I did their engagement session, I have been waiting for this wedding. Not only are Sarah and Andrew an amazingly stylish couple, but they are also over the moon in love (which makes a wedding, hands down), and the location made their wedding all the more delicious.
Sitting on the bed of her hotel room, Sarah was a vision, and quite possibly the calmest bride I’ve ever met. She bustled around the busy tent-like room checking her bridesmaids’ makeup, doing her mom’s and, most importantly, enjoying her special day.
While the girls were joking and sipping on champagne, there was a knock on the door. When they answered it , a brilliant bouquet of flowers was waiting for the lovely bride and inside was a note from her groom. “Today I marry my dream girl and I don’t have a care in the world.”
More to come in a bit from Sarah and Andrew’s fab day.
xoxo, Erin of Erin Ever After

To the Bride Sarah- did you do your own makeup? I'll be doing my own as well- I love your pallete! Can you tell me which MAC pots you used for the pallete? I'm sure I can spot the classics, but I just want to make sure! I think I can see Sketch, Shroom, vanilla, brulee, carbon...but I can't make out the rest- please help :) BTW- you are gorgeous! Love the dress, and the guys looked great! I agree with Am- great taste! Love the perfume! Congratulations!

One of my favorite place in the US - JALOUS as I have never shot a wedding there - Would be sweet though
Yes, I did do my own makeup. I used shroom all over the eye, expensive pink on crease, black tracks for liner, springsheen as blush, and cremesheen as lipstick. All of my products were mac, except my foundation was armani.
Thanks for all the amazing complements!
I worked this wedding i was a server and i absolutely adored everything about it. I am now planning my wedding and i think it will be here...thanks for putting this up!!
Hi! Who is the dress designer? I love the style and want something similar.
Thanks!
Does anyone have any idea who the dress designer is? That dress is AMAZING!
If you want to stay at a nice hotel in Lund Sweden then I can recommend Lilla Hotellet, or the little hotel.
