…Lots and lots of yellow. I have no idea why, but today, I am all about the yellow. Maybe it’s that Summer seems to be flying by, or that it just happens to be a perfect morning here in Boston. Whatever it may be, I am absolutely nuts for this pretty yellow palette. Particularly for an outdoors wedding, using the natural elements to add additional whispers of color.

Isn’t it funny how the colors that we love are often determined by how we feel that particular day? What is your favorite color palette today? Is anything just jumping out at you???

Yellow is my favorite color for anything except clothing. It looks terrible on me. Come to think of it, I don’t know many who can wear yellow without looking washed out. Orange is my favorite color to wear right now. It looks good with the little bit of a tan I have.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE that Yellow is creeping back into weddings. We needed some brightness!

I love the yellow and, you’re right, it helps us hold on to the bright, perfect days of summer.
The color palette I’m drawn to the most these days is orange and bright pink. Not sure what it is about those colors together but they make me really happy!

Yay for yellow! It’s going to be the accent color in my otherwise black and white wedding next summer. We’re mostly going for all yellow flowers along with some vases of lemons on some tables…I think it’ll add a little punch of fun to the wedding! Also, Miss Gummi Bear just posted about invites over at Weddingbee and included a picture of a gorgeous yellow invite with lemon drops! You should check it out

Yellow is the perfect cheery color for today. It is also my favorite color, so I am biased!

Soooooooo pretty! I love yellow too - it’s such a happy color! I love doing bowls of lemons for centerpieces like in the image shown here - and they look great sliced into thin circles that line the walls of clear cylinder vases too. Lovely post

Oh yeah, yellow my all-time favorite color and I think it works well for all seasons, you just have to adjust the shade a little bit…beautiful collection of refreshing photos.

You must check out Kate Hudson in the newest issue of Harper’s Bazaar if you love yellow. She is wearing the most brilliant yellow dress ever. I love this post too!

Looking for the perfect bridesmaid dresses???? I am choosing yellow and a daisy theme and don’t want this to look tacky. Any ideas??

I am having the same problem Candice is having-wedding in July, outdoors, with yellow as the color and daisies, black-eyed Susans and yellow roses. I don’t want my bridesmaids to hate their dresses! Or melt in them in the Georgia heat in July! I’ve considered seersucker but, I really want to be the only one in white that day! Anybody?
