An Intimate 25-Person Wedding at Villa Montanare in Cortona, Tuscany

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Classic whites & Olive greens. The table clothes were perfectly detailed and colored to match! it gave an otherwise simple color design, an elevated touch! [/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Natalie and Chris’s wedding was an intimate 25 people. The design, although kept simple, had certain elements that gave hints of luxury and opulence. Contrasted against the rustic style of villa montanare in Cortona Italy, Natalie came out in the most fabulous Jaton Couture dress with a lace choker detail that seemed to come straight out of NYC fashion week! This really set the tone as to how far our imaginations wanted to go. It was a perfect atmosphere where guests could be comfortable in the relaxed upscale tuscan vibe, but equally not out of place if dressed to the nines! Natalie and Chris emphasized luxury style in a tuscan laid back way. [/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]We met five years ago and instantly became best friends! Realizing that we had the same interests and loves for the smaller things in life, we decided to search each others souls deeper until it led us here.
Love should be effortless, and challenging. We never asked each other to be anything but their authentic self and in doing so, we got our perfect match![/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]Natalie’s dress was fit to absolute perfection. She works for Dior so I knew it would lol, but the Designer Loft NYC nailed it!! The contours of her dress were symmetrical and the lines moved with her body as she was able to give the camera all of her personality, and her new hubby all the attention! The visible boning of the Jaton Couture dress accentuated Natalie in all the right places and resembled perfect brush strokes of a fine art renaissance painting. [/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]The food of course was seasonal, local, and the finest tuscan cuisine. Delizia Ricevimente, always serves up a tasty list of starters, complete with local olives, oils, cheeses and wines to keep the conversations rolling, and the anticipation for more food on edge! The handmade pastas, and fresh meats are always paired with a recommended drink, but of course free to choose your fav! The drink selections for Natalie and Christopher’s wedding were a great list of Italian birra (beer) and local wine! But of course Andreas, at villa montanare, is always known to throw in a fabulous german beer making sure everyone gets what they want by the end of the night! [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The vendela roses, spray roses, and pittosporum for the green foliage was curated to perfection, the organic compositions of the floral arrangements was just right for a white and olive green color palette! The vases were handmade, patinated bronze which leaked a bit of that green palette and really caught the eye! The darker gold accents stood out and filled in all the simplicity with just the right amount of glam!
There were a few hidden gems such as the candles infused with their initials N&C and the wedding date 8-24-24.
[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The Millefeuille is an iconic Italian wedding cake made of layers of puff pastry and rich cream! The head chef typically get’s the cake’s first layer started and then hands the couple the tools to finish the rest of the layers while music, dancing, and laughter fill the area! Natalie and Chris were simply the most fun and free spirited souls who truly enjoyed every moment! [/field]

A Stunning Summer Elopement in Sintra, Portugal at Casa Dos Penedos

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”The Inspiration”]Nestled in the hills just outside Lisbon, Portugal, Sintra is a place of absolute enchantment and charm. Its collection
of palaces and castles, against the deep green forest, makes for a storybook setting for a destination elopement.
Centrally located within the bustling streets of Sintra, is Casa Dos Penedos, a 20 th Century Manor House which has
since been converted to a wedding venue. With its impressive views, the greenhouse was the perfect area to bring this elopement vision to life. Designer
and planner Valerie, of LBV Design House, sought to create an elopement that felt like an extension of the venue itself.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]As you step into the greenhouse at Casa Dos Penedos, a palette of natural and neutral tones surround you. We wanted this elopement to highlight the natural colors of the grounds.
These colors were displayed throughout the artfully curated selection of linens (from BBJ La Tavola) and
paper details (from Merci Studio). This palette intentionally aims to showcase that intimate celebrations deserve the same intention and thoughtfulness as a larger celebration.[/field]
[field title=”The Venue”]The Venue, Casa Dos Penedos, is a beautiful gem nestled in the hills of Sintra, Portugal. The greenhouse was the perfect set up for this nature inspired elopement. [/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]As with all of LBV Design House’s creations, the floral and décor elements played a central part of the design.
Valerie partnered with local Portuguese wedding artists to bring in florals, and rentals that ultimately brought
the entire design to life through their specialized talents.
The florals incorporated were lush and unstructured, with a touch of whimsy, as if they were directly
growing from where they were placed – a nod to the lush backdrop that is Sintra, and the seasonality-based approach
of floral designer KƆKliKO.
The tabletop details sourced from the Rental Collection enhanced the
natural details of the greenhouse walls.

Soft Pastels and Southern Charm Under Texas Skies at the Grand Lady

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Spring pastel colors (blush, sage, dusty blue, & creams) [/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]For this romantic spring wedding in Austin, the design centered around Southern charm with an elegant, fresh feel. The couple chose a venue that perfectly balanced indoor and outdoor spaces, giving guests a blend of cozy interiors and breezy outdoor views of The Grand Lady!

Delicate florals brought a refined and whimsical feel to both the ceremony and reception areas. Inside, the table scapes featured vintage-inspired charger plates, classic ivory linens, and lots of color brought in through the floral.

Outdoors, string lights over a full circular bar and touches of a floral print brought a touch of magic to that space.

Every element reflected the couple’s vision of effortless charm with a timeless Southern touch, capturing the beauty of spring and the romance of their story.[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]We got engaged in steamboat springs, Colorado! CJ had booked a photographer for a specific time and had to fake a knee injury to get me to go in from skiing. On the wedding day, the print was brought in on the custom dance floor, the custom full circular bar outside for guests to go to all evening, and many spots in the day of signage & paper goods. [field title=”Wedding Cake”]Maddie & CJ had both a bride & grooms cake at the wedding! The bride wanted something classic and traditional, with small pops of floral around the cake. [/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]We are huge Tyler Childers fans and ended up using a few of his songs throughout the wedding! After the ceremony we walked down to “all your’n” played on strings. It is our favorite song and thought this was a really special time to implement it into our day. This was always supposed to be our first dance song but last minute fell in love with his cover of “space and time” and used that as our first dance song! [/field]

YouTuber Weds in Summery Garden Wedding at Cheekwood

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Soft pastel tones of sage, lavender, peach, and blue brought a dreamy feel to the celebration, with ample flowers adding to the enchantment. [/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Inspired by summery colors and fresh flowers, Kelly and Tyler’s wedding was a garden party to remember! Kelly and Tyler tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony nestled in the venue’s botanical garden with special guests Kino and Archie, their two pups dressed in floral collars. (The two would later star on the cocktail napkins at the reception!) The reception hall spilled out onto a sun-filled terrace for guests to mingle, relax in the lounge areas, and grab a drink at the custom grey-latticed bar.[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Known as WILDCAT by his 8 million subscribers, Tyler’s YouTube gaming channel has evolved into a massive platform that sends him to gaming conventions far and wide. He met Kelly at one such event, and the two felt an undeniable connection that led to a year of long-distance chatting. One day, Tyler invited Kelly to visit him in Indiana. She agreed, driving out to spend two weeks getting to know each other. Everything was going wonderfully until Kelly’s car broke down on her drive home. Since it was Christmas Eve, she begrudgingly accepted that she’d spend Christmas alone in a hotel room. But as soon as Tyler heard, he flew her to his parents’ home, where he had driven for the holidays. They’ve been living together ever since! Years later, Tyler proposed to Kelly under the lights of their front yard while their friends cheered them on.[/field]

A Minimalistic Colorful Wedding With Guests From All Over the World

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Crisp summer whites paired with pops of yellow, orange, coral, blue, purple and green[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]This wedding design was the perfect fusion of minimal, bold, sophisticated and playful! The crisp white and neutral tones paired with the bold ombre floral of the tablescape below and lush greenery adorned ceiling above was the perfect juxtaposition[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]One night, in the fall of 2021, William took me out for dinner in Atlanta (where we lived at the time), and we ordered a bottle of red with our steaks. For dessert, we opted for espresso martinis, and enjoyed conversation about what the next year ahead looked like for us… About half way through William’s last drink, he asked if I thought it’d be fun if he proposed on the night of an upcoming concert (which was a little less than 3 months away, on 11/11) and I couldn’t believe he was about to give away such a big secret! I covered my ears and told him not to give it away, but a week later, his father asked for my dad’s email address so he could share tickets to the concert with him and I thought for sure it was a done deal. On the day of, I got my nails done, received a blowout at the hair salon, and had butterflies in my stomach all day long. This day was already special enough for us, it was the day we closed on our new home, a historic church-renovated-house in downtown Charleston, SC, and when he came in from work with flowers and champagne, I figured this was the moment. But after an hour or so, I realized he wasn’t showering and just knew that wasn’t something he would skip out on before such an important evening for us. I asked him flat out… “Are you not going to shower?”, to which he responded, “No, why would I shower right before a big concert tonight? I’ll probably just get sweaty” With genuine confusion, I tilted my head to the side and asked him, “Are you not proposing tonight?” The night turned out to be such a fun night regardless, but I did make a promise to myself that I wouldn’t be so sure of it happening the way I had ever again. A little over a month later, the week before Christmas and during the same week that we moved into our new house, we were invited to a party on a boat. I thought for sure I would have known when he would do it, but I still think that him doing it in the same week we moved into a new house is what threw me off! William and I were walking hand in hand toward the boats when I saw a helicopter in a field… We were headed for the helicopter, and before I knew it, he was down on one knee inviting me to fly around the place we’d now call our home, and asking me to take on the rest of our lives together. When the helicopter landed, our families were cheering us on, a photographer was there to take photos, and we were popping champagne near the Charleston bridge overlooking the water. Shortly after, we met all of our closest friends downtown in the champagne room of Hotel Bennett. It may not have happened when I thought it was going on on November 11th before a Rolling Stones concert, but when it did, it was absolutely perfect. Just one week before my birthday, on December 17th of 2021, and the same week we moved into an old church in the Holy City. It was the most important question he’d ever asked, the most important answer I’d ever given, and the first day of the rest of our lives. That day will always be remembered as one of our absolute favorites of all time.[/field]

The napkins also included a sweet note, “A 5/5 Kind of Day” along with the date underneath: 5.5.23[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Minimalistic neutral décor such as textured white linens and white-washed wood created the perfect balance for bold, ombre florals and the most impactful sea of greenery suspended above in their reception tent. He was ALL TIME.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Brittaney and William’s love story is “Belgian boy meets all-American girl,” going back 11 years to when they met at the University of South Carolina and leading up to their epic wedding where guests joined from all over the world (including Belgium, London, Africa, Switzerland, Dominican Republic, Chile, and Mexico) to celebrate their love![/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]With the majority of William’s family being overseas, most of the weddings that we go to for his family members are in Europe, so it’s no wonder them look forward to the opportunity to celebrate a wedding in America when the time comes… Since we met at the University in South Carolina, and because Charleston has such a special place in our hearts, we knew that it had to be here. To make it all worth everyone’s time and worth the long trip, we celebrated for 3 days by having the Welcome Party at the William Aiken on Thursday, May 4th, the wedding ceremony on Friday, May 5th at Saint Mary Catholic Church followed by the reception at Lowndes Grove, and an all-white boat party on Saturday, May 6th [/field]

A Rom-Com Worthy 1920’s Inspired Wedding at Chicago Botanic Garden

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Dusty whisper blue
[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

The aesthetic focused in on this eclectic Italian chic elevated garden party. Jennifer wanted her guests to feel like they were in a 1920’s fairytale that combined 90’s romcoms with soul, warmth, heart, class, and a dainty detailed celebration that depicted her and Josh’s love.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Josh planned to propose to Jennifer in mid November of 2022. That weekend he had a photographer planned, his family flying in from Florida and California, and everything arranged when unfortunately Jennifer’s grandfather Howard passed away. Pivoting quickly, Josh spoke to Jennifer’s mom who shared that Jennifer’s grandfather Howard met Jennifer’s grandmother Arlene on the weekend of Thanksgiving at a dance and it would be special to continue the engagement plan a few weeks later. It was love at first sight for her grandparents, and to honor her grandparents 70+ years of marriage, Josh decided to get down on one knee on Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving, Jennifer’s mom, Susan, told Josh and Jennifer she was missing an ingredient at the grocery store…as Josh took a ‘wrong turn’ into a parking lot by the beach…he helped Jennifer get out of the car as they walked down the cobblestone steps to the beach where a lit up sign that said “Marry Me” with rose petals, candles, and a collage of photos of them together laid. He got down on one knee and proposed. [/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]My grandfather Howard used to call me “Jenny Jenny bright as a Penny,” and Josh shortened my nickname from Penny to Pen. I call him Posh (Josh to Posh). Our signature drinks were “The Pen” – french 75 – and “The Posh” an old fashioned. [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Two months prior to our wedding we parted ways with our original florist as she was not fitting the vision of what we were looking for which was: unique – organic – classic -statement – home grown flowers that felt like a 1920’s fairy garden party. I stumbled upon Jenna Land (flowersbyland), a florist who lives on a floral farm and had this instinctual gut feeling she was the one after one phone call. We were her first large event, yet I could tell by her bouquets on Instagram that she had a talent that was beyond anything I’ve ever seen. It was her dream to have her flowers at the Chicago gardens, but what she did not know yet was she had made our dreams come true with her work. After a few inspiration photos and a Pinterest board sent, one preview and homemade focaccia in her home on her farm…we signed a contract with her. Her Chuppah blew us away…and was everything we could have ever wanted yet. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Our cake was designed by ECBG cakes in Chicago and it was inspired by our custom invitation water color print. This print also decorated the welcome bags, menus, covered the dance floor – and bled throughout the entire wedding [/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]My Dad passed away when I was 5 years old, and I could feel his light shining down on me during the ceremony as we drank out of my parents Kiddish Cup that they got married in and also drank out of our new Kidding Cup my mom had gifted to us at our bridal shower. It was a merging of what was and what will be…

Our cantor played the guitar and sang throughout our ceremony as I circled my husband 7 times, a Jewish tradition. We had custom linen Kippuhs made with an embroidered white M for Milgrom (my new last name).
[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]I grew up in the musical theatre world – and I still at times tap into it. Josh loves when I sing, on our first date he found out I was in a show a month later and put it on his calendar to attend. He did attend, in a suit. I wanted to surprise my husband (Josh) so after he dipped me as the ending to our first dance as a couple…I slowly walked onto the stage, grabbed the mic, and serenaded him to “At Last”. He was very emotional. No one knew I was going to do this. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

My Dad passed away when I was 5 years old…so I grew up with a single mom. We considered ourselves The Gilmore Girls our entire lives because we have always been so close and have told each other everything. It was fitting that we did our mother daughter dance to “where you lead I will follow” by Carole King…I choreographed the entire thing and it was such a special moment for both of us. She also walked me down the aisle in a STUNNING custom color Markarian dress. She looked like my little fairy God mother, and she always has been that way.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

I created a custom-made purse that said “The love story at Chicago Botanic Gardens” and had a Taylor Swift quote on the back (we love Taylor Swift…we danced a lot to her music at our wedding). She is very special to us as we have always felt there has been an invisible string tying us to each other. Other: I would consider my fashion sense to be timeless with a twist of a creative yet elegant flair..Audrey Hepburn has always been my muse being that I grew up in the theatre. My bridesmaids wore matching pink and white Bon Viviann silk feather pajamas and my mom and mother-in-law wore cotton Natori pink cotton pajamas that were perfect for lounging and dancing in. I love fashion. I wore a Shonah Joy silk slip dress and Vivienne Westwood Jacquard Tote with Louboutin sparkly mules while getting ready with my nearest and dearest friends. We sang and danced all morning together as we got ready in my childhood home and bedroom…my oldest friend Lauren and I used to sing on the floor of my room together growing up and she sat next to me as I got my hair done singing the same songs we used to as children. It was a wholesome, musical, magical slumber-day party as we drank coffee w/creamer and sang our hearts out to old Hillary Duff and Whitney Houston. The house was filled with giggles, music, and a ton of love as each girl slipped into their feather pajamas and slippers and got fully pampered. I wanted to get ready in my childhood home, as it’s as old as I am and has been with me through every life stage (walking down the stairs to go to an audition, walking down the stairs to graduate college, walking down the stairs to go to prom, walking down the stairs to go on a first date). I’ve walked down those stairs as I’ve grown up and to walk down them in my wedding dress with my mom, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs was surreal.

A Whimsical Floral Wonderland in a 1000 Year Old Chateau in France

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”The Inspiration”]Max Owens, renowned for her ethereal floral designs, transformed the chateau’s interiors into a floral wonderland. Her artistry infused every corner with vibrant blooms and delicate arrangements, creating a dreamlike ambiance that perfectly complemented the chateau’s medieval charm. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The organic fusion of whites, purples and oranges in the palette blended beautifully with the grand beauty of the setting. The juxtaposition of the chateau’s historic stone walls and the lush, modern floral designs resulted in a visual feast for the senses.[/field]
[field title=”The Venue”]Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Gourdourville, France, the enchanting Chateau de Gourdourville served as the perfect backdrop for a breathtakingly whimsical photoshoot hosted by Develope Academy. Constructed in 1081, the chateau’s rich history and timeless elegance provided an unparalleled canvas for the creative vision brought to life by the talented team from Dallas, Texas.[/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Organic and whimsical as you will see the florals were truly out of this world and all sourced locally. It was incredible to see Max work her magic.[/field]
[field title=”Favorite Design Element”]The florals and the chateau itself. It’s a historical monument in France. It was built in 1081—like…..nearly A THOUSAND YEARS AGO. But, even though the castle was built in 1081, this land was also the site of an abbey from the NINTH CENTURY!!! In 1745, the castle underwent a huge restoration, so much of what you see today is thanks to those efforts. The spiral staircase was built during the Renaissance. [/field]
[field title=”Tips To Pull Off The Look”]This is proof that bringing your dream team anywhere in the world is possible when the team is so talented. The journey from Dallas to Gourdourville was an adventure in itself, with the team traveling across continents to bring their vision to life was incredible.[/field]
[field title=”DIY Moments”]The collaboration between Develope Academy and Max Owens showcased the power of creativity and the beauty that can be achieved when passionate individuals come together. As a participant I actually took part in creating some of the floral table pieces and see it all come alive.[/field]

A Romantic Love Affair at Villa Cora, in the Heart of Florence, Italy

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The colors palette was the following based on the Pantone: living coral, autum sunset, coral, pink lemonade, strawberries cream.[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]From the bride:

· Intimate wedding with our closest family and friends

· A wedding that truly reflected us and feels personalized

o Ex: Cameos of our dog (who sadly was unable to attend), and the inclusion of our family (sister as officiant, god parents as flower man and woman) in our wedding.

· A location that was beautiful at its essence (Villa Cora) and close to the heart of Florence

· Give people an excuse to travel and see and explore Italy alongside us

· Give people a good time!

· We wanted the day to be beautiful, timeless, and playful![/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]From the bride:

On February 25th, 2023, Thatcher and I had plans to have dinner with his parents for his birthday. We arrived early at the restaurant and decided to grab a drink at the bar. Thatcher suggested that we check out their outdoor space while we wait for his parents to arrive. Once outside in this beautiful courtyard, I noticed a proposal setup and told Thatcher we needed to get out of there immediately before someone proposed. Thatcher had a huge grin on his face as he ushered me towards the “Will you marry me sign.” I initially objected, telling him this was a really bad joke and not at all funny. But as he continued to usher me forward, I picked up on his nerves for the first time and realized that this was real, and it was happening to me. He then got down on one knee, proposed, and I said yes! We celebrated with champagne and a photographer seemingly appeared to take pictures of us. The moment was made complete when our best friends appeared with our dog Birdie who we then got to be in the pictures. We then headed to dinner across the street where my entire family and Thatcher’s were waiting for us to celebrate! Best night ever and a true surprise (which is hard to pull off with me).[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]After the ceremony in the Sfingi Garden, the reception continued in an absolutely jaw-dropping space within Villa Cora known as the Sala degli Specchi.
The menu selected by the newlywed to be offered to their guests was composed by 3 courses:

The entrée was a Salad with a citronette dressing and cucumber and shredded carrots.

The Pasta course was the Cacio e pepe with white fish on top.

As Main course, the interal catering served a Filet with red wine sauce and mashed potatoes and green beans

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The bride walked down the aisle with a symmetrical and structured style bouquet realized by Flowers Living. Flowers colors were the same of the palette and the florist selected a mix of garden roses, spray roses, delphinium, dahlias, lisianthus, sweet peas, oxypetalum, peonies and scabiosa.

For the bridesmaids, the bride decided for a smaller bouquet with the same style and made with only white and cream flowers.

The boutonnieres were made with a flower in palette with the bridal bouquet and some leaves for a touch of green.

For the ceremony, celebrated in the Sfingi Garden, in addition to the squared wooden arch fully decorated with the same flowers of the bride’s bouquet and greenery, Flowers Living arranged grounded florals along the two sides of the aisle. Classic stone statue and two lemon trees at the beginning of the aisle completed the look of this whimsical ceremony setup.

For the cocktail hour, the bride chose to decor the drinks served to the guests with colorful edible flowers.

For the wedding reception, set up in the stunning Sala degli Specchi, the wow factor was the sweetheart table, decorated with an organic and unstructured style runner along the middle of the table. Gold candle holder and tea lights completed the look.
The other round tables were decorated by low urns filled with loose flowers and candles.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was a really master piece realizaed by the pastry chef Sugarcups.
Two layers were marble and filled with a gianduia cream, fresh rasberries a drizzle of white chocolate covered in a vanilla meringue buttercream and the two other cakes were vanilla, doused with a amalfi lemon syrup, lemon curd, fresh rasberries, a white chocolate drizzle and finally a vanilla swiss meringue buttercream. It was a timeless styled cake, a white cake with wavy buttercream to make it look like flower petals. On the four layers there were the sunset color flowers in a slanted pattern to make it more in theme of the wedding. An amazing fireworks show made the moment of the cutting of the cake memorable![/field]

Refined Style and French Blue Hues at Chateau de Champlatreux

The choice of colors highlighted the wedding’s timeless and romantic feel while perfectly complementing the historic setting.[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The wedding’s design centered around the timeless elegance of a French château, exuding luxury and sophistication. The blue-toned floral arrangements, designed by AS Luxury Paris, added an ethereal quality to the celebration, enhancing the natural beauty of the château’s architecture. Glamorous East Coast Meets West Coast at Solage Calistoga

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The color palette of the wedding featured a blend of white, gold, rose gold, and blush. White was prominently featured in all the floral arrangements, creating a fresh and timeless backdrop. Gold and blush provided striking pops of contrast, with blush linens adorned with intricate beading, gold candle holders, gold silverware, and gold accents on the dinnerware. This thoughtful combination of colors added layers of elegance and sophistication, enhancing the overall aesthetic and creating a visually stunning setting that perfectly complemented the couple’s modern yet romantic vision.[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Andrea and Rich wanted to create an atmosphere that blends clean and modern aesthetics with a loose, airy, and romantic elegance. They used flowers such as ranunculus, roses, sweet peas, lunaria, baby’s breath and hydrangea all throughout the wedding. The couple loved the idea of having statement elements that felt unique and original. The ceremony space had a serene and ethereal ambiance, with natural light filtering through the surrounding greenery. The white chairs matched the clean design, complementing the airy and romantic elegance of the setting. The bride and groom stood underneath a floral canopy, with white blooms cascading gently to create a dreamy, floating effect. The combination of sophisticated simplicity and natural beauty created a sense of timeless romance, making it the perfect backdrop for a heartfelt exchange of vows. Their reception space continued the theme of clean, modern aesthetics combined with loose, airy, and romantic elegance. The softly lit room, with its high ceilings, created an inviting and intimate atmosphere. The standout feature was the suspended floral arrangements, echoing the ethereal beauty of the ceremony space with their cascading white blooms and delicate hanging lights. The warm tones of the tables and chairs added a touch of sophistication, while the carefully curated floral centerpieces enhanced the romantic vibe. This seamless transition from ceremony to reception ensured that the unique, captivating ambiance Andrea and Rich envisioned carried through every moment of their special day.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]From Andrea:

Rich and I planned a trip to Wine Country for my birthday in April 2020. We diligently planned and researched for months ahead of time. We even scored a reservation at The French Laundry on my actual birthday! As the world was shutting down in the weeks leading up to our trip, we knew our trip was going to have to be postponed. Fast forward to November 2022, we finally took our Napa Valley trip, including dinner at TFL. We stayed in Yountville, just a few blocks from the restaurant. On the night of our dinner, the Philadelphia Eagles were playing at the same time as The Philadelphia Phillies…two of Rich’s favorite teams! Also, coinciding with our dinner reservation! As we rushed to get out of the hotel and to TFL, I was a few steps ahead of him during the walk to dinner. Rich was on his phone checking scores. At one point I turned around, getting frustrated that we were going to be late to dinner and Rich was down on one knee, ring box open, phone still in hand, asking Siri what the score was of the Eagles game! I said YES but also HURRY we can’t be late to TFL! I’d say an engagement and dinner at one of the most famous restaurants in the world, makes for an unforgettable evening! [/field]

The “Georgie Peach” was a refreshing blend of Sauvignon Blanc, sparkling water, and peach schnapps, while the “Sherbie Bourbon” showcased the robust flavors of Basil Hayden bourbon with a hint of ginger. The wedding menu was a culinary masterpiece, offering a sophisticated selection of dishes to please a variety of tastes. Guests began with a classic Caesar salad, followed by a delectable bucatini pasta paired with truffle butter and maitake mushrooms. For the main course, attendees could choose between a Niman Ranch filet mignon with Bordelaise sauce, mascarpone polenta, carrots, and Brussels sprouts, or a delicate olive oil poached halibut with beurre blanc, mascarpone polenta, carrots, and Brussels sprouts. A vegetarian option featured roasted cauliflower with chickpeas, garbanzo beans, cashew tapenade, and mint cilantro, rounding out the diverse and delicious menu.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The wedding was a breathtaking display of white florals, setting a tone of pure elegance and romance. Pristine white roses and delicate baby’s breath adorned every corner, their soft textures and gentle hues creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. At the front of the ceremony, a magnificent four-post arch was enveloped in a lush canopy of flowers, with elaborate arrangements at each base further highlighting the grandeur of the setting. The reception tables continued the theme with lush white floral arrangements running down the center, beautifully complemented by a mix of tall and short candles that cast a warm, soft glow. Each place setting was meticulously curated with gleaming gold silverware and rose-colored napkins, blending refinement with a subtle touch of contrast. This cohesive design created a luxurious and timeless ambiance, perfectly reflecting the couple’s vision of sophisticated elegance.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was a delightful centerpiece that perfectly captured the couple’s whimsical and loving nature. This elegant three-tiered creation, enveloped in smooth blush pink fondant, exuded soft, romantic charm. A unique and heartwarming touch was added at the bottom of the cake, where replicas of the couple’s beloved dogs, George and Sherwood, peeked out from a small cut-out. This charming detail not only brought an extra layer of joy and personality to the cake but also highlighted the special place their pets hold in their hearts.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Andrea chose Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” for her walk down the aisle because the song’s melody and reflective lyrics deeply resonated with her. Its themes of love, beauty, and the passage of time mirrored her own feelings as she embarked on a new chapter of her life. The lyrics, which contemplate whether love will endure as time goes by, perfectly captured her hopes and dreams for the future. The song’s ethereal quality added a layer of timeless elegance to the moment, making her walk down the aisle both poignant and unforgettable.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Cannoli’s were flown in from Andrea and Rich’s favorite Cannoli purveyor, Termini Brothers, from Philadelphia which has been around for over 100 years. The signage for the cannoli station was an homage to The Soprano’s! “Leave the gun, take the cannoli”[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Bringing Andrea and Rich’s closest family and friends to Napa Valley from the East Coast called for a welcome dinner in a wine cave, something that is so special to the Napa region. They chose Clos Pegase which is know for its complex Cabernet Sauvignons, a favorite of Rich’s. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]During cocktail hour and the reception, Andrea and Rich added a unique touch with Vogue Vignette, offering guests personalized sketches that captured their individual style and essence. This special feature allowed guests to leave with a custom keepsake from the event, adding a memorable and personal element to the celebration.[/field]

Crisp Whites and Timeless Sophistication at the Breakers Palm Beach

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The wedding embraced a stunning palette of greens and whites, perfectly complemented by delicate touches of sea blue. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of The Breakers in Palm Beach, where the ceremony overlooked the sparkling ocean, the colors harmonized beautifully with the natural surroundings. Lush greenery brought a sense of elegance and tranquility, while the crisp whites added a timeless sophistication. The subtle hints of sea blue echoed the serene waters, creating a refreshing and romantic atmosphere that encapsulated the essence of the venue. This color scheme not only enhanced the beauty of the location but also reflected the couple’s love for nature and the ocean, making it a truly memorable celebration.[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The design inspiration for the wedding seamlessly blended the enchanting allure of The Breakers with the warmth of a garden party atmosphere. Drawing from the venue’s stunning coastal elegance, the couple aimed to create an inviting and whimsical vibe for both the ceremony and reception. To achieve this, lush florals took center stage, with arrangements featuring an abundance of greenery and delicate white blooms that evoked the feeling of a blooming garden. Spring in New York City at the Foundry With Pops of Color Galore

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Their wedding took place during the full bloom of spring in New York City, and we could not resist using this as inspiration for their color palette. We opted for vibrant pinks, peaches, yellows, corals, and touches of purple. This was the perfect palette to reflect the beautiful season and joyous moment in their lives.
[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The design of the wedding was the thoughtful balance of classic elements paired with fun and vibrant pops of color and entertainment. The unique stationery suite set the tone for the event – from the moment guests received the lazer cut, letterpressed save the dates, they knew something memorable was in store for this wedding. The invitation was a masterpiece of artistic techniques combining die cutting, laser cutting, embossing, and calligraphy to create a multilayered floral bouquet for each guest to unwrap. The layering of colors, textures and smells continued throughout every detail over the course of the wedding weekend. A Muguet Dyptique candle in every space made sure we not only saw and touched spring but smelt it as well. [/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]When they first started dating, the bride and groom lived on opposite ends of Boston. So on their early dates, they would meet in Back Bay, splitting the distance between where they both worked and lived. At the end of the night, they would walk to the Arlington T station where the bride would get on the bus to go home and the groom would get on the train back to his apartment. As the weeks went on and this tradition continued, they would tell each other how they hated the Arlington T station because it meant the end of a fun date together. Cut to three years later, they now are living together and one night, the groom asks the bride if she wanted to go down to Back Bay like old times. They go and before dinner, walk by the Arlington T station. He says ‘do you remember how much we used to hate being here?’. She replies ‘Yes’ and suddenly he stops, bends down on one knee, and says ‘Well hopefully this will make this place a better memory…’. He presents the ring and the question she was always hopeful for since falling in love with him – ‘Will you marry me?’. She says ‘Yes!’ And now, when they walk by Arlington T station, they smile at the memory.[/field]

From the initial sketch hand drawn by Lihi Zwillinger to the first look with her groom, the gown was executed to perfection, and made the bride feel her most elegant self on her wedding day.[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bride knew that she wanted her bridesmaids to wear a dress that made them feel comfortable and beautiful, as well as reflecting their individual personalities. Apart from specifying floor-length and a floral pattern, the bride welcomed a variety of colors, fabrics, and silhouettes. Her bridesmaids each selected an array of colorful patterns and designs that perfectly depicted flowers from a garden with delightful shades of pink, peach, green, and blue.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]The bride and groom knew the infamous wedding trope, ‘nobody ever remembers what they ate at a wedding’ and were determined to prove that wrong. As soon as they were introduced to Acquolina Catering, they were confident that they would be successful. For cocktail hour, guests sipped on His&Her signature cocktails, His a classic Moscow Mule, Hers a ‘garden’ margarita inclusive of tequila, cucumber, lemon juice, mint, and snap pea. There was also a refreshing mocktail appropriately called ‘Lilac Bloom’ composed of fresh ginger, lemon juice, spring water, and lilac blossom.. The guests also enjoyed an extensive charcuterie table fit for Tuscany along with passed hors d’oeuvres inclusive of crab cakes, roasted duck on a sesame crostini, lobster salad in a blue corn chip basket, cherry tomato napoleons with goat cheese and basil, caviar with creme fraiche on a potato chip, and the classic crowd pleaser, pigs-in-a-blanket.

Dinner was a three-course meal consisting of an artichoke and avocado salad, a bowl of lemon risotto, and a choice between branzino or filet mignon. And the dessert extravaganza was so magical that it needs its own feature! Acquolina’s attention to creative detail in their plated presentation, impressive diversity of ingredients in every course, and thoughtful ability to personalize the menu to the couple’s liking was the perfect recipe to ensure that no guest at this wedding will forget what they ate there.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The natural beauty of the venue with its bountiful ivy scaling the red brick facade allowed each space to distinguish itself from the other and create special moments throughout the event.

The ceremony was a springtime inspired lush garden, with heaps of local lilac lining the aisle and filling the room with the scent of spring. The altar was a stunning backdrop of abundant pinks, purples, and blues with rich green ivy accents framing the window as sunlight peered through to illuminate the space.

The dinner tent had a cozy, elegant, residential feel with soft gauze panels blowing in the breeze, embroidered cloths draped over the tables and vibrant pops of color from the magnificent flowers and seasonal fruit. All accented by the magical glow of the candles that lined the tables.

The dance area was filled with candles, dramatic floral sequined tablecloths and dangling disco balls to bring the party home. And to cap off the ‘New York in Spring’ spirit of the wedding, the couple had floral sunglasses for everyone to wear while dancing the night away![/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]‘A Simple Cake’ provided a three-tiered white buttercream creation with a rustic linear design adorned with their favorite florals from the event. The flavors were a combination of the bride and groom’s favorites, including a tier dedicated to a lemon scented cake with mixed berry compote and a classic dark chocolate cake with vanilla bean cream. It was equally decorative and scrumptious.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]One of the first topics that the couple bonded over was their love of music – the groom was a music major in college and the bride has had a lifelong love of Broadway musicals. With collaboration from Element Music Group, they were able to create two distinct musical vibes for the wedding day.
Ceremony
The couple opted for traditional Romantic-era classical music played by a cellist and harpist for the processional. As the wedding party walked down the aisle, the musicians played ‘Sicilienne in E-Flat Major’ by Maria Theresia von Paradis, followed by the bride’s entrance to ‘Le Cygne’ by Camille Saint-Saëns. A joyous rendition of Natalie Cole’s ‘This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)’ played as the bride and groom shared their first kiss and recessed as husband and wife!
Reception
The couple’s first dance was to ‘’Till There Was You’ in the style of Rod Stewart from one of their favorite musicals ‘The Music Man’. The bride danced with her father to the Beatles’ hit ‘In My Life’ and the groom danced with his mother to the Louis Armstrong classic ‘What A Wonderful World’. Then, the party really began! From the first song, Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ to the last song, ‘(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life’ from ‘Dirty Dancing’, Element Music Group’s band, the incomparable and talented London West, was inarguably the highlight of the guests’ experience of the night.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Special Detail #1 – Personal Vow Books
The bride and groom knew early on that they would compose personal vows to one another. Their words were then safeguarded in custom embroidered vow books that were emblematic of the contents inside. The covers crafted by Bespoke Designs included icons of the cities where they met (Boston), where they love to travel to (London), where they were to be married (New York), and icons of what they are passionate about (music), what they love to do together (jog), and of course, what they love to eat together (ice cream).[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Special Detail #2 – Guestbook Experience
In lieu of a traditional guestbook, the bride and groom were inspired by their friends’ wedding the year before, and their own affinity for journaling and written keepsakes. They invited guests to share pearls of wisdom and advice to read on upcoming milestones in their marriage, including special wedding anniversaries to the arrival of their first child. The bride and groom have displayed these meaningful boxes in their home and look forward to reading them in the years to come.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]Special Detail #3 – Dessert and Van Leeuwen Truck
With the bride and groom’s love of dessert, a combination of traditional wedding cake, special sweet treats, and ice cream made for a delicious interlude to the evening. The dessert station was unforgettable featuring a plethora of sweet options, such as fresh raspberry cocoa tarts, lemon domes with a sour cherry compote, opera cake with cappuccino and chocolate ganache, chocolate profiteroles, lemon meringue tarts, and classic chocolate chip cookies and brownies. This was then complemented with a selection of ice cream flavors and toppings from Van Leeuwen parked right outside the venue to cap off a magnificent celebration.[/field]

Showcasing the Beauty of Mexico With Bright Pops of Color at Nobu Los Cabos

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

Red, pink, orange, cardinal, salmon, peach, pink, and yellow

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Stephanie and Kevin really leaned into the bright Mexican color palette since many guests were flying in from Taiwan for the first time and they wanted to showcase the beauty of the country. They drew inspiration from the beautiful papel picados, otomis, and piñatas that you see everywhere in the local artisan markets. Given that the Nobu Hotel is known for its clean Japandi aesthetic, they felt that the pops of color would really make the wedding lively and fun![/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Kevin wanted to make sure both families were present during the proposal, though COVID made it somewhat challenging. He rented a quaint Airbnb in Oakland and arranged for just a few close relatives to join them. Unfortunately, Stephanie’s cousin fell ill with COVID a week before, but Kevin was undeterred! He went ahead with a “three course meal” complete with a beautifully hand drawn menu by his sister-in-law. The first course was Stephanie’s favorite frozen yogurt dessert from Souvla, a local SF gem, and the second course was a picture book of their memories together from the previous eight years. The last course was the ring and a touching proposal speech! Despite her resolve to remain stoic, Stephanie shed many happy tears! [/field]

At first glance, it seems like a simple A-line gown but when you get a bit closer, you see the fabric is intricately beaded with tiny 3D petals that made her shimmer under the Mexican sun! [/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]More than anything, Stephanie wanted her bridesmaids to be comfortable, so she simply gave them the wedding color palette to work with, and let them choose the dress styles they felt expressed their own personalities best. This mix-and-match approach worked beautifully, especially against the dramatic backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. [/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Stephanie and Kevin’s choice of the Nobu Hotel was very intentional as they are huge fans of the food at Nobu restaurants. They had an amazing time at their tasting and confessed that it was incredibly difficult deciding which dishes and hors d’oeuvres would make the cut given how delicious the food was overall. The couple’s absolute favorite entree was the miso black cod and they were more than pleased with the positive feedback from their guests. [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]On their very first trip years ago, Stephanie and Kevin fell in love with the breathtaking Cabo sunsets and they wanted their wedding color palette to reflect that beauty. Their talented florist from Aria Vera created two gorgeous floral columns bursting in red, pink, and orange that allowed the audience a stunning view of the ceremony. The reception tablescapes were made up of similarly colorful flower arrangements adorned with fresh fruit. They chose oak wood rentals to match the Japandi aesthetic of the Nobu hotel. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Though all the scrumptious options made the decision difficult, Stephanie and Kevin finally landed on a three-tiered cake with a different flavor for each tier. Given that most of the guests were Asian, they were delighted to have matcha as one of the options. The minimalist three-circle design with white frosting for each tier was accented and enlivened with bright flowers hand-picked by Nobu’s dessert chef.

Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs: Explain why you chose certain readings, music for the ceremony, and reception songs.

The happy couple wanted to make their friends and family just as happy with an epic dance party following the reception, and their DJ from Alex DJ Cabo Events delivered in a big way! Their romantic first dance seamlessly transitioned into a rave-like atmosphere as fireworks went off in the background and the music synched up to the string lights and moving headlights. dance floor to a rave by synching all the music to the string lights and the moving headlights. They even brought out CO2 cryo guns to hype up the crowd as their friends tore up the dance floor.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Being able to incorporate as many Mexican elements as possible was truly a priority for Stephanie and Kevin, especially since so many of their dear friends and family were coming from so far away to celebrate them. To that end, they had a full mariachi band perform as they exited the ceremony as well as during the cocktail hour. They discovered an Etsy vendor who was able to create mini papel picados that they placed on branded coconuts as seating assignments. They also placed delightful mini piñatas in their wedding color palette throughout the venue. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Stephanie and Kevin look back on their wedding day as if it was all a dream! They say they truly understand now when people describe their wedding day as the best day of their lives. More than anything, the couple was overwhelmed by the sense of unity and connection they felt with all of their guests. It’s been over a year since their big day and they still find themselves reminiscing about it! [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Though they initially had a bit of a reservation about planning a destination wedding without ever having seen the venue in person, Stephanie and Kevin were given great comfort by having Dayna from Del Cabo Weddings by their side. She was very responsive and helped to reassure them every step of the way. She even helped them put out a few fires in the days leading up to the wedding and for that, they are forever grateful! [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]MC Weddings was one of the first vendors that Stephanie and Kevin booked when they started their planning process with Dayna. They were captivated by their whimsical style and knew early on that they wanted their big day to be photographed by them. On the day of the wedding, the entire team made them feel very at ease in front of the camera, and the result exceeded their expectations. The Blueprint for Balancing Textures at Boxwood Manor

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Deep Olive Green, Classic White, Black[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]For Margaret and Chandler’s wedding, their vision evolved from when I initially met with Margaret to event day. Initially, she loved the contemporary white / black vibe but with Boxwood Manor being all white, we wanted to bring in some warmth to the space.

Balancing the textures in the room with the trees to create a timeliness look was the final design![/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Chandler proposed to Margaret under a large tree on his family’s property near College Station. I remember seeing the photo they showed me and thought it would be cool to bring that detail into their wedding design story. We initially thought of one massive tree in the middle of the ballroom but didn’t want it to obstruct too many guests from stage / dance area so went with the long line of trees to enhance of the head table design. From there, we worked the design of table top details based on the natural green.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]After a whirlwind digital romance (sponsored by Bumble!), Eli knew he wanted to propose using his and Abby’s shared love of cinematography. Incorporating her friends, family, and treasured home videos — Eli crafted a proposal video detailing the couples love story from beginning to now. Abby was surprised with the video at Soho House Nashville in the cozy, private theater. At the conclusion of the video she was presented with a bouquet of her favorite flowers (peonies) and lead upstairs to a secluded, decorated terrace where Eli awaited to pop the question with a custom made toi et moi ring. After the “yes!” was exclaimed and photos were snapped, the couple was ushered off to a private party in the Grove, a luxury private golf community in Tennessee, where friends and family had traveled far and wide to celebrate the freshly engaged couple[/field]

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]Guests were treated to the couples favorite low country BBQ — Home Team! Each cocktail napkin served was printed with one of four love letters exchanged between the bride and groom – dating back to their first date, to days before the ceremony. The pop up cocktail car served local craft beer and wine, with custom drink stirrers illustrating a cavalier pup – a nod to the couple’s dog Sunday, back at home. At the end of the night, the couple surprised their guests with a snow-cone and boozy popsicle truck. The Bride loved the shaved ice, reminiscent of her families reoccurring summers spent in Maui on old Lahaina beach eating Local Boys shaved ice. [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Our florist focused on accentuating tones similar to local blooms during the Charleston summertime. We knew flowers would be a primary part in telling the story of our day, so our colors reflected as such. The groom was excited to bring in bouts of color through florals, specifically on the dance floor and in the ceremony fountain. Achieving a look that only Bridgerton could dream of, the florals instantly transported guests to a summer oasis akin to a New Haven summer. Ensuring the guests stayed cool, the ceremony space featured a straw fan for all in attendance, paper parasols, and stationary scalloped European-inspired umbrellas. Guests were surprised and delighted to be transported to a Nashville dive bar with the hanging luminescent Nashville disco balls flanked by flowers over the dance floor and checkered brown-and-white picnic table linens. The classic blue chins served as a nod to the Bride and Groom’s favorite wedding china. Linen remained a consistent theme: incorporated in the dreamy, draping welcome sign and jumbo seating chart. Every detail was specific to the couples taste: down to the custom Abby and Eli sailboat match boxes, cocktail tables of the Bride and Grooms’ family weddings, their McKenzie Childs Royal check cake stand. Even the sailboat tent flags hundred of feet in the sky had the couples’ new last name monogrammed. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The cake was a gluten free raspberry and lemon blend. Inspired by the Lambeth wedding cake the Bride’s grandmother had for her own day, the couple added their unique twist with bright red cherries and a playful heart shape. Offering a variety of treats, the sweet tooth couple indulged their guests with fresh fruit tarts, key lime pie shooters, and traditional French macaroons.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]The evening before, the bride and groom spent their rehearsal dinner on a chartered catamaran spoiled with bridal party speeches galore. The day of the ceremony, the couple were wed by their lifelong friend — with special readings by a religious mentor, and prayers by the Bride’s family and the Groom’s mom. The processional walked down the aisle to a favorite orchestral piece by the Bride, from the movie Love Actually. When announced as the Stevenson-Greiss family, the couple walked down to a quartet serenade accompanied by a flute to UP’s “Married Life.”[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The groom opted to take the bride’s last name in addition to his own, with both couples taking on “Stevenson-Greiss” due to the Grooms’ close relationship with the Bride’s family and his desire to remain one of the two “Greiss brothers.” The couple remain proud of the unconventional decision citing their open communication and premarital counseling as their ability to make their last name one of sentimental value. They are excited to pass down the last name to future children, as the name now holds significant sentiment to both parties. Since announcing their name change, several friends have felt motivated to reconsider taking their partner’s last name or reexamining their own personal preference. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Rooted in Eli’s past, the sailboat guest boat served as a memory of the groom’s time spent living on a houseboat. The couple can recall several fond memories from their love story taking place on various boats: from their first charter in Charleston to summers spent on the boat at the Stevenson family lake house.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]When the bride’s grandmother was unable to attend the wedding due to her health, the bride’s mom stepped up to the plate to become the “Flower Mom.” Before she graced the aisle, it allowed mom, dad, and daughter a moment to themselves before their Bride became a wife. Rest assured, the bride still featured her grandmother in the pendant on her bouquet: with a photo of her grandparents exchanging a kiss prior to his leaving to Serve.

The couple ended the night with a grand exit to a vintage Ford white bronco from Whipdash, a nod to the Bride’s 2024 Bronco at home. [/field]

Cozy Indoor Wedding at Sunriver Resort in Oregon

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Big white fluffy flowers with neutrals and pops of green. [/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Joey has fond memories of growing up visiting Sunriver with his family. Taylor’s sister attended one of Kelsey’s (the Indigo Bride) weddings in Sunriver, where Summer provided the florals and the venue was the Mt. Bachelor Lawn and The Great Hall. Taylor’s sister couldn’t stop raving about the beauty of the wedding, how much she and her husband enjoyed their weekend in Sunriver, and the incredible food. Although the bride had never been to Sunriver herself, seeing the photos from that wedding and hearing Joey’s family’s praise, combined with her connection with Kelsey, convinced her it would be the perfect location for their celebration with all their loved ones.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]They started talking about getting married pretty soon into their relationship (cross-country long distance at 28 and 29 years old expedited lots!), but they both always cared more about a marriage and partnership than an engagement or even a wedding so she never really had any idea what Joey was going to do to propose. The only thing Taylor thought was that it would be in early 2023 and he told her and her friends that it would take place in New York City, because “that was where our love story started.” (His words)

Turns out this was all a lie and he was planning to propose around Christmas of 2022, and had coordinated with both of their families and some close friends to surprise her in Pebble Beach a few days after Christmas. They planned to drive to spend the day with his aunt and cousin at their house on 12/27 in their tiny rental car with Penny, their dog, but the weather had other plans and it was pouring the whole drive and throughout the day at Pebble Beach. Joey, who is always a happy human golden retriever, seemed kind of grumpy and mad about the rain which was very unusual. They decided to take Penny on a walk and throw a tennis ball for her around the neighborhood. Taylor remembers the rain easing up as they walked and just chatting about what they were looking forward to in the New Year. Little did she know both of their families were arriving at his aunts house and waiting in her living room. As they walked back towards the house, she noticed someone was on the back porch taking photos. Thinking it must be Joey’s cousin testing out some new Christmas gift, Taylor start waving energetically. The next thing she knew Joey has stopped walking and is down on one knee. All she remembers is being shocked, laughing so hard, and turning around to see all of their favorite people standing, cheering them on. [/field]

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Sticking to the neutral theme, the bride didn’t want her bridesmaids to wear beige or champagne. She was looking for something with a pop that stood out as more unique. While researching, she came across Show Me Your Mumu’s wedding line and fell in love with the ‘Show Me The Ring Crisp”, which was a soft grey tone.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]The photographer, Paulina Perrucci, is a childhood friend of the groom. Her father provided the wine for the welcome event from their family winery, Perrucci Family Vineyards. On their wedding day, the couple created two signature drinks: a Tom Collins for the bride and an Old Fashioned for the groom.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Florist, Summer Robbins, went all out for this couple! She took their timeless and classic idea to another level. Knowing that the couple was hilarious and constantly joked with each other, she realized that a polished look wouldn’t do. By including summer wildflowers and whimsical textures in every arrangement, she brought the wedding to life. On the day of the wedding, Summer made a last-minute change to the floral design. As her team was unloading the premade aisle runners, she fell in love with how they framed the steps. It made a bold statement as guests took their seats, making it the perfect last-minute decision that transformed the ceremony space.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The bride surprised the groom with a cake. He had thought they had agreed on simple desserts, but to his surprise, she had a custom cake made. It was designed to look like a baseball jersey from his favorite team, the San Francisco Giants.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”][/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The real MVP of the wedding day was their golden retriever, Penny. She was not only featured in their wedding logo but also a surprise for all the guests. No one knew she would run down the aisle after they said “I do”.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]The mother of the groom surprised the wonderful couple with an Italian-themed rehearsal dinner. She had custom napkins made as gifts for them to use when guests visit their home. She also collaborated with the florist to create unique arrangements composed purely of greenery and tomatoes, instead of traditional flowers.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]Since the bride and groom are not big fans of cake, they decided to offer small bites, donuts, and a cereal section instead. The groom is a big fan of cereal, and this was something he had been looking forward to since coming up with the idea.[/field]
