DIY Terrarium Place Holders by Wednesday Custom Design

Jessica Mayfield over at Wednesday Custom Design has graciously put together one of the loveliest, most versatile DIY projects a girl could ever wish for…made especially for you SMP gurus. What we love the most about these little gems, aside from being flat out gorgeous, is that the range of ways you could infuse these into your decor is kind of amazing. From simple centerpieces to placeholders to gifts and even just reception decor, we are definitely going to be bookmarking this project for years to come. Plus, they will make pretty awesome holiday decor so you don't have to wait for your wedding to get your hands dirty.

Supplies
Clear Glass Christmas Ornament
Mason Jar Lid
Moss
Sticks
Crepe Paper Flower; DIY Instructions
Wine Bottle Cork
Thread
Place Card

1. Remove the silver hook from the top of the Christmas ornament.
2. Use the mason jar lid as the platform for the glass ball, and to offer some stability while you create.
3. Fill the glass ball with moss and sticks.
4. Make your own crepe paper flowers to put in the glass ball for a burst of color (or find a perfect silk bud).
5. Seal the hole in the glass ball with a wine cork
6. Tie a pretty bow with ribbon or string to attach your place card to the terrarium.
