A Pastel Charleston Wedding at the Gibbes Museum of Art with Garden-Inspired Elegance

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

Pistachio green, light blue, blush pink, butter yellow, ivory.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Set in the heart of Charleston, Mary and John envisioned a Gibbes Museum of Art wedding that felt elevated yet joyful, rooted in Southern tradition while embracing a refined, artful sensibility. Their vision centered on creating a celebration that honored the historic architecture of the city while introducing fresh color, layered texture, and thoughtful moments of whimsy. Soft pastel florals and painterly hues of blush, ice blue, and pistachio green formed the foundation of the palette, complemented by crisp whites, tailored black tie details, and warm wood accents. Masculine undertones were subtly woven throughout the design to ground the lighter tones, from bentwood chairs and paneled bar fronts to classic tuxedos and dark green patterned Nuage Designs linens for tabletops. The overall effect was garden-inspired yet polished, playful yet timeless. Rather than relying on a single statement moment, the day unfolded through a series of beautifully considered spaces throughout Charleston. The couple and their wedding parties got ready at the gorgeous Dewberry hotel in the heart of the city. Guests moved from the grandeur of Second Presbyterian Church to the curated galleries of the Gibbes Museum of Art, and finally into an open-air courtyard transformed into an elegant garden party beneath a sailcloth tent.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Mary and John met in college while studying pre-med at Mercer University and have been together ever since. From the beginning, their relationship unfolded alongside the demanding path of medical school and training, shaping a partnership built on shared goals, mutual support, and steady commitment. Years later, John proposed on a December evening in Winter Park, Florida, just before the couple departed on a celebratory holiday through Germany and France.

Mary wore The Alexandra gown by Monique Lhuillier, a strapless ballgown crafted from French lace and embroidered silk tulle. Paired with a cathedral-length veil and styled with a sleek low bun, the look balanced elegance and ease. Timeless ivory silk Manolo Blahnik heels completed the ensemble, paired with a delicate tennis bracelet and diamond stud earrings.

[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]

The bridesmaids wore light ice blue silk gowns by Jenny Yoo, each styled in a floor-length, mix and match silhouettes. The cool blue tones complemented the pastel florals beautifully and offered a subtle contrast against the floral design and overall color palette.

[/field]
[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]John wore an ivory tuxedo smoking jacket paired with black trousers, a black bow tie, and black velvet Christian Louboutin smoking slippers. His groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos to complement his striking ivory jacket and look. [/field]

Dinner by the team at Cru Catering celebrated Southern comfort with a refined approach, featuring filet mignon, shrimp and grits, and the groom’s favorite macaroni and cheese. An open bar with an assortment of beer, wine, and spirits allowed guests to enjoy the celebration with their favorite drink of choice.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Floral design by Festoon Charleston was lush, romantic, and intentionally layered, drawing inspiration from garden-grown textures and a soft pastel palette. Arrangements featured blush garden roses, ranunculus, delphinium, and airy greenery, accented with fresh kumquats for a bright pop of citrus. The kumquats were woven throughout the reception design, appearing in table centerpieces, bar arrangements, and floral compotes, adding both color and a personal nod to the couple’s connection to Florida. The reception courtyard at the Gibbes Museum of Art was transformed into an elegant garden setting beneath a sailcloth tent. Patterned green linens from Nuage and BBJ La Tavola layered the tables, paired with bentwood chairs that added warmth and texture. A long pistachio green paneled bar with arched shelving anchored the space and served as both a functional and visual focal point, seamlessly blending into the surrounding design. The centerpiece of the evening was a grand floral installation arranged in a terracotta vessel and positioned at the heart of the reception, surrounded by four white lounge sofas. This sculptural arrangement created a striking yet inviting focal point, encouraging guests to gather and linger throughout the night. Before guests entered the courtyard, they were greeted by a coordinating floral arrangement on a round table displaying escort cards in the shape of the couple’s dogs, miniature dachshunds, offering a preview of the whimsical garden-inspired design waiting beyond.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

A four-tier white cake by Flower Child Desserts offered a timeless and elegant finish to the evening. Adorned with delicate, modern sugar petals, the cake echoed the floral-forward reception design in a refreshing format.

A Tuscan Ruins Wedding Inspired by the Italian Renaissance at Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

Inspired by the Italian Renaissance, Skylar envisioned a color palette that felt romantic and dramatic at the same time. The palette centered around dusty yellow and rose, peach and cream, pale pink, grey green with a touch of burgundy and green woodland. The effect was perfectly in harmony with the Tuscan countryside and the ruins where the ceremony took place.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Skylar and Gavin approached the celebration inspired by the Italian Renaissance and the famous Walt Disney production Fantasia. The bride dreamed about creating an enchanting and secret garden with a fairy tale atmosphere to welcome their guests in a timeless event. Both the choice of the ceremony setting – the Ruins Garden – and the reception setup were thought to create a magical event to be remembered forever and ever.

After a rich Italian aperitivo, guests sat down for a multi-course dinner: Black Cabbage Salad, Raspberry, Blue Cheese, and Caramelized Nuts was served as a starter, followed by Risotto with Val D’Orcia saffron and a delicious Roasted Veal with Mashed Potato and Sautéed Spinach as the main course. During dinner, Chardonnay and Brunello di Montalcino wines were served to the guests.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The floral design by Tuscany Flowers florist was nothing less than a dream realized, thanks to a mix of refined color palette of soft whites, gentle blushes,s and grey green tones echoing the surrounding Tuscan landscape, together with spots of colors like purple and burgundy. The goal was to create the effect as they grew spontaneously around the ruins and along the aisle of the ceremony. The flower selection included peonies for the bridal bouquet, English roses, quick roses, digitalis, clematis, delphinium, and eucalyptus.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

The bride and groom decided not to have a wedding cake, but they preferred to serve a traditional Italian Tiramisù in a teacup to their guests.

A Black-Tie Coastal Wedding Rooted in Timeless Design and Weekend-Long Hospitality

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Ivory, soft white, blush, black, warm gold, and natural green.[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Julian and Andréa envisioned a celebration defined by timeless quality and quiet sophistication, with every choice made to feel enduring rather than trend-driven. Their design blended a refined, classic black-tie mood with a welcoming atmosphere inspired by intimate hosting and weekends spent at Andréa’s family beach house on the Oregon coast. The result was a wedding that felt both elevated and personal, with guests encouraged to settle in, connect, and linger through the evening.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]The bride and groom’s love story traces back to the University of Oregon, where their paths first crossed during Greek life events hosted by Julian’s fraternity. After graduation, Julian’s path led him to Los Angeles for six years, while Andréa moved back home to Portland, never knowing that fate was quietly weaving their story. Upon Julian’s move home, a simple exchange on social media reignited a spark neither expected. Their first date felt effortless, filled with laughter and college stories, and the quiet excitement of something real beginning. As Julian dropped Andréa off and drove away, the waist tie from Andréa’s peacoat ended up caught in his car door, remaining unnoticed until later. That unexpected mishap marked the quiet beginning of a love story destined to last a lifetime.[/field]

The bride wore a sleek, modern gown that balanced clean structure with softness, featuring a refined high neckline and a striking open back. Its minimalist silhouette felt intentional and fashion-forward while still reading timeless, allowing Andréa’s beauty, movement, and presence to take center stage. The look transitioned effortlessly from portraits to celebration, proving that simplicity can still feel powerful.

[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids wore coordinated ivory gowns that felt cohesive and elevated, complementing the bride’s look. The tonal palette created an elegant visual harmony in portraits, especially in the soft light of the day’s indoor and outdoor settings. Their styling supported the overall vision of understated sophistication and classic romance.[/field]
[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]

The black-tie styling was crisp and classic, with the groom in a white dinner jacket paired with black trousers and a black bow tie, creating a formal look with timeless contrast. The groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos that reinforced the elevated tone of the day and kept the overall aesthetic refined and cohesive.

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Food and drink were designed to feel both polished and generous, supporting an evening that encouraged guests to relax and stay awhile. Along with an open bar and celebratory toasts throughout the night, late-night comfort favorites were served to keep the energy high well into the evening. The reception also included a cigar moment that added an extra layer of ambiance, giving guests a reason to linger and enjoy the night beyond the dance floor.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The floral design leaned into romantic fullness while staying true to the wedding’s classic palette, with roses taking a leading role alongside lush white blooms and layered greenery. The ceremony’s focal point was an oak tree transformed with soft fabric draping and florals that climbed and gathered at the base, creating a statement that felt organic and timeless. Indoors, the reception space was elevated with greenery and blooms overhead, paired with candlelight to create a warm glow that carried through speeches and into the evening.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The “Sex-in-the-City” inspired cake design brought a playful nod to the couple’s style while still feeling elevated and intentional within the overall aesthetic. Rather than feeling overly ornate, it fit seamlessly into the refined celebration and added personality without taking the design in a trendy direction. It was one of those details that felt both fun and still completely timeless.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”][/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

The wedding took place at Waverley Country Club, a setting made even more meaningful by Andréa’s family connection to the club through her great-grandfather. The venue’s classic architecture, lush grounds, and river-adjacent setting created a naturally elevated backdrop that aligned perfectly with the couple’s timeless vision. It was a location choice that carried both beauty and significance.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Andréa wove meaningful family traditions into the day, honoring her late grandmother on her mother’s side by wearing her diamond drop earrings – a tender way of keeping her presence close – and asking her grandmother on her father’s side to wear a blue dress, making her the bride’s “something blue”. As the oldest of three sisters, Andréa was the last to marry, and her father marked the moment with a sentimental nod to his own wedding day – wearing a white suit jacket, just as he had when he married Andréa’s mother, bringing his daughter’s weddings full circle. These choices brought depth to the celebration in a way that felt private, personal, and deeply intentional.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

The guest experience was layered with thoughtful, high-impact details that felt both classic and memorable, from elegant calligraphy touches to a large-scale linen welcome display that set the tone upon arrival. Cocktail hour was designed for comfort and ambiance, with guests mingling beneath a crisp sailcloth tent positioned to take in the river views. As night fell, the celebration continued with a vibrant dance floor, a warm candlelit atmosphere, and a fireworks finale arranged by a family friend across the river.

A Chic Pink and Green Naples Wedding with Classic Palm Beach Flair Inspired by The Colony Hotel

Inspired by The Colony Hotel, Keegan and Jimmy brought a classic West Palm Beach flair to their Naples wedding, embracing a chic pink-and-green Floridian palette. With most loved ones traveling in for the celebration, Keegan and Jimmy cherished the time spent together, sharing afterward, “The entire weekend was really just the best weekend of our lives!”

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Keegan remembers her first impression of Jimmy as someone funny and kind. “He was my favorite person to be around right away,” she recalls. Jimmy, in turn, was struck by how down-to-earth and easygoing Keegan was. “She fit in with my friends and family right away!” he notes. Just over a year later, during the week of Keegan’s thirtieth birthday, Jimmy proposed at her grandparents’ home in St. Michaels, Maryland, a moment she describes as “truly the best!”[/field]

An Organic Coastal Wedding Under a Sailcloth Tent With Warm Woods and Sunlit Simplicity

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The palette was composed of creams, sage greens, warm woods, and soft whites. Natural light was also a key player during the day, giving everything a beautiful, airy coastal brightness.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

From the bride: When we started dreaming about our wedding, we imagined it so many different ways, eloping, a courthouse moment, maybe a chic little restaurant in Chicago. But the more we talked, the more we realized what we really wanted: to be surrounded by our favorite people. Not a huge crowd, just the people who know us best, our families, aunts and uncles, and our closest friends. The reception decor had an elegant, high-end residential interior design feel, with plush leather chairs, custom banquettes, and stylish lighting and table settings that made guests feel as if they were in a beautiful coastal restaurant.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

From the bride: We had talked about getting engaged for a while, so I knew it was coming. I was convinced it would be almost impossible to surprise me truly. Every time we went anywhere even slightly special, I’d think, this is it! Joe said to actually surprise me, it had to be something that was part of our everyday life, because anytime he tried to plan anything, I was immediately onto him. We went on one of our usual walks through our downtown Chicago neighborhood, along Lake Michigan, something we do all the time. I didn’t think twice about it. I was in yoga pants, no makeup, hair definitely not picture-ready. And then, with the water behind us, he got down on one knee. When we got home, the surprise continued. While we were out, his sisters had snuck into our place and transformed it, candles everywhere, flowers, and champagne waiting for us.

From the bride: Joe’s parents’ backyard was the perfect backdrop. Their home makes such a statement on its own, so we kept the design minimal, soft, neutral tones with modern touches that let the space shine. The vision was an intimate dinner party that just happened to be our wedding: relaxed, comfortable, and beautiful.

An Organic Peach and Blush Wedding with Soft Florals and a Modern, Nature-Inspired Design

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The colors were Peach, Blush, and soft pinks with hints of yellow & sage.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

This couple and design team wanted a very organic vibe, florals that felt natural to the surrounding grounds, with a relaxed feel. A modern design met the natural rhythm of the outdoors. Clean lines created a refined, elevated foundation. Earthy, seasonal hues softened the look with organic warmth.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Patrick was the most thorough and thoughtful planner when it came to the proposal – he had backup plans for the backup plans Fog derailed his Plan A to propose on the beach overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge (where we did our engagement photos!), but he pivoted to Plan B, which was Lovers Lane in the Presidio. He diligently scoped out the spot beforehand, even weeding out the exact spot he wanted to propose. It was perfect – we had the whole place to ourselves, and we love visiting the spot today on walks in our neighborhood. We spent the weekend celebrating with our friends and family (some of whom were total surprises to me) in Healdsburg, where we coincidentally wound up getting married! Healdsburg has a special place in our hearts now.

We said yes to the dress and went to the Eras Tour the same day – best girls day ever – Bride

Juniper Lane is an organic yet elevated late September wedding with subtle hints of autumn color alongside shades of peach, white, and salmon. For the ceremony, we created an organic, naturalistic floral nest to frame the couple using seasonal flowers and branches, including pistache, golden raintree pods, dahlias, native grasses, smokebush foliage, and Japanese anemone. The textural design was created intentionally, as the clients did not want traditional-lookingng grounded arch but instead preferred to take cues from the natural beauty at the ceremony site, which was anchored by a large oak tree and rock formations, and the surrounding vineyards. Adding pops of white with aster and nerine helped give it an airy feeling and kept it from looking too dark or traditional “fall.” For the personal flowers and the reception, we used local, organically grown cosmos, phlox, peach, and coral dahlia, delphinium, and honeysuckle vines. Dinner tables featured a mix of arrangements and bud vases with a collection of candles to pair with the green velvet textures and printed linens.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

This couple chose not to have a cake as neither of them eats cake. They opted for an amazing, local Ice Cream cart to share as their sweet treat!

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

The father of the bride told a story of how, when Erin was a little girl,l she would pick a flower from their yard in the morning before school. He drove her every day, and his favorite memory was how she would give him the flower she picked before she went to school. After this sweet story,y it was time for the first dance. Erin picked a flower from her table arrangement and gave it to him. Photos in this gallery show the moment of his reaction, then his hand over his mouth as he began to cry. Everyone at the wedding was touched by this sweet gesture!

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

The couple had roots in Texas, and to give a tiny nudge to their hometown, they brought out light-up cowboy hats for the latter part of the dance party. A fun way to light up the dance floor.

A Modern Wedding in Layered Blues and Greens with Striking, Refined Contrast

[section title=”The Planning”]

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Sarah and Christian’s wedding was designed to feel sophisticated, striking, and effortlessly modern, with a clean aesthetic that allowed every detail to feel intentional. A refined palette of layered blues paired with fresh pops of green created a sense of depth and contrast while maintaining a calm, elevated atmosphere. Throughout the design, we focused on honoring their personal style by keeping the look luxurious yet restrained — polished without feeling overdone. The result was a celebration that felt confident and timeless, where modern design and thoughtful details came together in a way that was both visually impactful and deeply personal.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Christian and I got engaged on October 27, 2023, at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, exactly four years after we made our relationship official over brunch in the same place. While Christian originally planned to propose during a walk along the Bow River, he was far too excited (and maybe a little nervous) to wait. Instead, he popped the question right in our hotel room, making the moment feel intimate, unexpected, and perfectly us. We spent the rest of the weekend soaking it all in, just the two of us, before sharing the news with our families and friends. The very next morning, Christian woke up to find me already deep into researching venues and vendors for our big day. Banff had always held a special place in our hearts, but from that moment on, it became part of our love story.

Timeless yet contemporary, the gown felt elevated and intentional, mirroring the overall design of the day and allowing Sarah’s natural beauty and confident style to shine.

Guests were welcomed into the celebration with a post-ceremony champagne toast, setting a relaxed yet refined tone for the evening ahead. Cocktail hour featured an elevated selection of canapés, including vegetarian spring rolls, prosciutto with tomato and bocconcini, bacon-wrapped scallops, and teriyaki steak bites. Dinner unfolded as a thoughtfully curated three-course experience, beginning with a bundle of mixed greens accented with avocado, mandarin, and poppy seed dressing. For the main course, guests chose between overnight braised beef short rib glazed with braising jus, chicken supreme with a vermouth and sage reduction, or butternut squash ravioli finished with cream sauce, pumpkin seeds, and tarragon oil. The evening concluded on a sweet note with classic carrot cake, the perfect finish to a warm, beautifully paced culinary experience. As the evening went on, guests sipped on margaritas for Christian, Pineapple gin collins for Sarah, and a special feature drink in honour of their sweet dog, Stella – Watermelon lemonade.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The floral and design elements were layered with intention, allowing the ceremony to seamlessly evolve into the reception. A custom curved aisle was created and lined with lush blue delphinium, offering a striking yet elegant moment that framed the ceremony beautifully. Following the vows, the aisle florals were thoughtfully repurposed and woven into the family-style guest tables, reinforcing a sense of continuity and sustainability in the design. Royal blue velvet chairs from Modern Rentals were selected to anchor the ceremony space and elevate the overall transformation with a bold, modern touch. In the reception, a curated mix of lamps and candlelight created a warm, romantic ambiance, while delicate orchid stems—added at Sarah’s request—brought softness and movement throughout. Orchids appeared in her bouquet, adorned the ceremony pillars, and trailed gracefully over the dance floor, adding a final layer of luxury and intention to the design.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

The couple chose a petite, two-tier cutting cake for an intimate moment together. Finished in a soft blue hue and adorned with delicate white orchids, the cake felt elegant, modern, and perfectly aligned with the overall design.

Among their shared hobbies is a love for pickleball, which we thoughtfully wove into the design in a way that felt playful yet refined. The result was a personalized, “pickleball-core” moment that felt intentional and cohesive, adding a layer of personality without disrupting the elegance of the paper goods or the day’s design.

A Puglian Wedding with Mediterranean Neutrals, and Nigerian Meets Danish Influences

Food played a central role throughout the three-day celebration, highlighting local Puglian flavors while creating a communal, experiential atmosphere. Florals were soft, romantic, and intentionally understated, allowing the historic surroundings to shine. Pastel arrangements added warmth and contrast to the villa’s stone interiors, particularly during the indoor ceremony, where blooms popped beautifully against black Thonet chairs. An Intimate One Hotel Miami Beach Wedding with Soft Neutrals and Organic, Romantic Style

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

Soft ivory, muted blush, warm taupe, deep greenery

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Danielle and Cory’s wedding was an intimate, romantic celebration rooted in the natural, organic aesthetic of The One Hotel in Miami Beach. Drawing inspiration from the venue’s warm textures and effortless elegance, they envisioned a celebration that felt personal, heartfelt, and centered on their marriage and their guests, rather than being showy or over the top.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Danielle and Cory met while in undergrad at the University of Florida. After eight years of dating, Cory decided that it was time to finally ask Danielle to marry him. They had spoken about getting engaged before, and both had the same vision – they wanted it to be a special and intimate moment where it was just the two of them. Cory decided that their summer vacation to Portugal would be the perfect opportunity to propose. While watching the sunrise before a hike in Madeira, Cory asked Danielle to marry him. The setting was absolutely breathtaking, and the moment could not have been more perfect. They enjoyed the rest of their vacation and celebrated with their family and friends once they were back in NYC.

Lush, garden-inspired florals were woven throughout the day, blending soft blushes, dusty mauves, creamy whites, and layered greenery. The ceremony featured an organic floral arch that felt as though it had grown naturally within the space, while the aisle and surrounding planters reinforced the indoor garden effect. At the reception, candlelight, soft draping, and floral-wrapped installations created warmth and intimacy, transforming the room into a romantic setting.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Danielle and Cory cut into a minimalist, three-tier white cake with clean lines, accented by a floral arrangement at its base.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”][/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

Danielle’s bouquet was a small yet very special detail of the wedding. Danielle attended a lot of weddings where the brides’ bouquets were large with various flowers. While these were beautiful, she wanted to do something different and unique. She opted for a petite bouquet made up of a bunch of blush wax flowers, which she also often used as filler flowers in her other floral arrangements. Cory wore a matching boutonniere. It was simple and didn’t take away from the other beautiful details in the wedding ceremony.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

Unfortunately, Danielle lost both sets of grandparents at a young age. She wanted to honor and incorporate them in her wedding day, but wasn’t sure the best way to do so. Their Event Producer and Planner, Alicia Piacenti, suggested she purchase a memory locket to wrap around her bouquet. She surprised her parents with this detail, and they were beyond touched. They now have that same locket wrapped around a floral vase in their house.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

Another detail the couple absolutely loved was the dinner menus. These were designed by Events by Elle’s Creative Director, Alex Paz. They created two menus with drawings of flowers from their floral arrangements and rotated these between each place setting. They also used these as name cards, which was a nice way to minimize the number of objects on the dinner tables.

An Ojai Valley Inn Wedding with Soft Greens, Citrus Tones, and Effortless Summer Romance

The result was a warm, intentional atmosphere that felt effortless and inviting, allowing guests to fully settle in and celebrate the entire evening.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

What started as a simple date night turned into a full weekend of surprises at the Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach. We arrived early for a pre-dinner cocktail and a walk along the ocean path, and as the sun began to set, Grant led me to a quiet lawn overlooking the water where flowers and champagne were waiting. He proposed there with the ocean behind us while a photographer captured the moment. The night continued with a private dinner at the Montage, where both of our families were waiting, complete with our go-to wedding cocktail. After dinner, we were surprised again when all of our closest friends were waiting in the hotel lobby, and Grant had also planned for us to stay at the hotel that night. We ended the evening out in Laguna Beach before returning to the Montage, then spent the next day relaxing by the pool and soaking in our engagement together after a night filled with family, friends, and celebration.

As she grew older, she brought Dan to Longboat Key as well, a quiet sign of how special he was to her and how much this place meant. Choosing to be married nearby was not a coincidence; it was a full-circle moment, honoring the place that had always felt like home.

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]The champagne aerialists were more than just entertainment – they were a nod to the Ringling’s iconic circus history. Suspended above guests as they poured champagne, they created a sense of whimsy and wonder that felt perfectly at home on the historic grounds. The performance echoed the artistry and spirit of the Ringling Brothers era, blending elegance with a touch of spectacle. It was a modern, elevated interpretation of the circus legacy the property is known for, making the moment feel both meaningful and unforgettable.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

The celebration unfolded like chapters of a story. Each space at the Ringling opened into the next – a ceremony by the water, cocktail hour in the courtyard, and dancing above the twinkling lights below. With every transition, guests discovered something new, making the evening feel full of surprise and beauty from beginning to end.

A Multi-Day Nobu Wedding with Layered Greens, Warm Neutrals, and Japanese-Inspired Minimalism

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

Soft white, warm beige, natural wood tones, layered greenery, ice yellow, muted orange, and subtle coral accents.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

From the start, the vision was to create a multi-day celebration that felt immersive, allowing guests to move through a series of thoughtfully designed moments across the Nobu property, brought to life through the planning and design of Pamela Franssen. Drawing inspiration from the hotel’s Japanese minimalism, the design emphasized clean architectural lines, natural materials, and layered greenery to keep the setting warm and grounded. The overall aesthetic balanced refinement with a sense of movement and surprise, reflecting the couple’s desire for a weekend that felt elevated, social, and genuinely fun.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Jeff surprised Vicky with a Labor Day weekend trip, sharing only a packing list that hinted at adventure but gave no indication of the destination. Upon arriving at the airport, she discovered they were headed to Ponta Delgada in the Azores, where the weekend unfolded with hiking, exploring, and time immersed in nature. During a scenic hike along the Mata do Canário trail, overlooking an old volcanic crater, Jeff proposed, setting the tone for a moment that felt both intimate and unexpected.

Dinner leaned into the setting and the couple’s love of Japanese cuisine, with a menu curated by Nobu Los Cabos that felt elevated but unfussy. Guests enjoyed a multi-course experience that included sashimi or beef carpaccio, Nobu’s signature miso soup, and a choice of fish or duck for the main course. Signature cocktails added a personal touch, from a spicy passion fruit mezcalita to a rum-based cocktail with pear, lime, and honey, keeping the evening social, lively, and true to the overall vibe of the celebration.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The design paired architectural shapes with organic materials, allowing the setting to lead while the details added warmth and texture. The ceremony unfolded directly on the sand, framed by an off-center pair of sculptural half arches layered with greenery and soft white, yellow, and orange florals, accented by subtle clay vessels along the aisle. At the reception, natural wood tables were left uncovered and styled with low floral arrangements, mixed-height candles, and warm-toned details. Lanterns and greenery carried through the space, creating a look that felt considered, relaxed, and visually grounded.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

The couple chose a chocolate cake with strawberry filling, created by Nobu Los Cabos’ pastry team. Served late in the evening, it felt classic and unfussy, offering a simple, crowd-pleasing moment that fit naturally into the flow of the celebration.

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]The ceremony was personal and story-driven, officiated by the couple’s close friend, who shared reflections from their relationship rather than formal readings. Music played an important role throughout the day, with electric strings by Cabo Strings setting the tone as Jeff walked down the aisle to “Scientist” by Coldplay, followed by Vicky’s processional to “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur. The ceremony concluded with “Ella Baila Sola” by Eslabón Armado y Peso Pluma, signaling a joyful shift into the celebration.

At the reception, music continued to guide the energy of the evening, from the first dance to “Believe” by Mumford & Sons to heartfelt parent dances and a lively dance floor led by live band Kilometro and DJ Alex later in the night.[/field]

Surprise moments were woven throughout the evening, including fireworks, a champagne tower, and live water drummers who appeared during the reception, adding an unexpected shift in energy and keeping guests engaged well into the night.

The after-party transformed the Nobu foyer into “Club Wolfhasz,” complete with an LED dance floor, disco balls, CO₂ effects, a live saxophonist, and DJ Alex. The night also included a Hungarian money dance, a meaningful tradition that added a personal cultural touch to the celebration.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]Music and performance played a central role in the celebration, from a fully choreographed first dance to a surprise mother dance set to “Mamma Mia,” creating lighthearted moments that reflected the couple’s sense of humor and closeness with their families[/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Owner Jose Ibarra of APIS Floral POV:

“I had been in Spain the month before this shoot, and I was still carrying the warmth of late nights, shared tables, and the effortless beauty of summer gatherings. Mallorca lingered in my mind — the clink of glasses filled with sangria, the hum of conversation as the sun dipped low, and the way color feels bolder after golden hour.

That feeling became the heartbeat of this design.

I wanted the florals to feel alive and expressive — layered with height, movement, and mixed textures that invite you to linger. We played with bold blooms, unexpected forms, and an unapologetic use of color, allowing everything to feel abundant rather than restrained. Fruit was woven throughout the table as both texture and story — playful, tactile, and evocative of long summer meals that stretch well into the night.

This wasn’t about perfection; it was about joy. About vibrance, warmth, and that unmistakable summer flair found in Mediterranean evenings — where everything feels a little louder, a little richer, and beautifully unhurried. A table meant for gathering, celebrating, and staying awhile, just like those nights in Mallorca.”[/field]
[field title=”Favorite Design Element”]

The splendid “Spanish” wedding design embraces minimalism by interweaving textural earth-toned tablescape details with vibrant floral accents. clay, wood, and terracotta vessels will house arrangements of bougainvillea, red carnations, and artisanal candles. varying in height, color, and design, the candles serve as a link between culture, nature, and manmade elements.

[/field]
[field title=”Tips To Pull Off The Look”]Lean into the color and commit to the palette by layering warm, sun-washed tones with grounded neutrals to create depth and energy. Mix textures, vary heights, and incorporate elements like fruit and candlelight to add movement, abundance, and a sense of play. Most importantly, let it feel a little imperfect — bold, joyful, and designed to invite guests to linger, just like a summer night meant for gathering.[/field]

A Romantic European Garden Wedding with Soft Neutrals, Blush Accents, and Candlelit Elegance

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The wedding palette centered on soft, timeless neutrals such as ivory, warm white, and subtle cream layered with natural greens from the surrounding garden. Hints of blush, champagne, and dusty rose appeared through the bridesmaids’ dresses and floral accents, adding warmth without overpowering the restraint of the design. In the evening, candlelight introduced a golden glow, deepening the palette into something intimate, romantic, and quietly luxurious.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

The design vision drawn directly from Angelina’s mood board was romantic yet disciplined, with a strong editorial lens and an emphasis on texture over ornament. Inspired by European garden soirées and old-world elegance, the aesthetic blended soft femininity with architectural structure, pairing fluid silhouettes and lace with clean lines, negative space, and natural light. The overall mood felt timeless and poetic, grounded in restraint and intention, where every element appeared curated rather than styled, and beauty lived in simplicity, proportion, and atmosphere rather than excess.

Anglein’s wedding gown was a Sarah Seven Sept from New York. Romantic yet architectural, soft yet deliberate. The strapless corseted bodice was delicately structured, offering clean lines and subtle support while allowing intricate floral lace to remain the focal point. The neckline framed her décolletage with an effortless elegance, striking a balance between femininity and strength. From the waist, the gown released into a fluid, pleated skirt that moved with an almost weightless grace. The fabric caught the light as she walked, creating gentle dimension without volume or excess, lending the silhouette a timeless, editorial quality. Finished with refined lace detailing and paired with a sheer lace-edged veil, the gown felt heirloom-inspired but undeniably modern, an expression of restraint, craftsmanship, and enduring beauty rather than trend.

[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]

The bridesmaid dresses were intentionally varied yet perfectly cohesive, echoing the wedding’s softly editorial vision. Each gown featured a flowing silhouette in muted, romantic tones—blush, champagne, and dusty rose creating a palette that felt warm, understated, and timeless. With delicate fabrics and subtle textural differences, the dresses moved beautifully in the garden setting, offering an effortless, collected look that felt elegant without being overly styled, allowing each bridesmaid to feel individual while contributing to a harmonious whole.

[field title=”Food & Drink”]

Food and drink were an extension of Angelina’s vision, curated in Italian tradition, designed to feel generous, unfussy, and deeply romantic. The menu leaned into classic Italian flavors prepared with restraint: handmade pastas, seasonal vegetables dressed simply in olive oil and herbs, and dishes that favored quality ingredients over embellishment. Everything was meant to be shared, evoking the warmth of a long meal at an Italian countryside table rather than a formal plated affair. Cocktails followed the same philosophy. Aperol spritzes, Negronis, and crisp Italian wines were served as guests mingled, setting a relaxed, convivial tone from the start. The experience felt sun-soaked and celebratory, less about performance and more about presence, where food and drink became a quiet invitation to linger, connect, and savor the moment, just as Angelina had envisioned.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The florals and décor unfolded as a direct translation of Angelina’s mood board editorial, restrained and rooted in old-world European romance, executed with quiet precision by Revelation Floral and Plithos Event Rentals. Rather than aiming for abundance, the design leaned into intention: negative space, sculptural form, and an effortless sense of balance. Florals were defined by line and movement. White tulips—elongated, architectural, and refreshingly unfussy—set the tone, appearing in loose, cascading compositions that felt gathered rather than arranged. Their simplicity allowed texture and shape to take precedence, echoing the bride’s fashion-forward restraint. Greenery was used sparingly and intentionally, grounding the palette while allowing the surrounding garden to remain an active part of the visual story. Décor followed the same philosophy. Tables were layered with crisp linens, refined glassware, and minimal place settings, creating a clean foundation that felt timeless and European in spirit. Tall glass hurricanes holding taper candles introduced a warm, golden glow as the day slipped into evening, adding intimacy without excess. The repetition of candlelight and clear glass created rhythm and softness, enhancing the atmosphere rather than competing with it. Together, the florals and décor felt less like styling and more like a mood—romantic but disciplined, organic yet editorial. Every element appeared considered and calm, resulting in a setting that felt lived-in, poetic, and deeply aligned with Angelina’s vision: beauty found not in extravagance, but in restraint, proportion, and feeling.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

The wedding cake echoed the intimacy and restraint of the day, small in scale, effortless in design, and unmistakably Italian in spirit. Finished simply, without ornate decoration, it felt less like a formal confection and more like something discovered at the end of a long countryside meal. Its understated presence aligned seamlessly with Angelina’s vision, where beauty lived in quality and intention rather than excess. Paired with clusters of deep red grapes and served alongside gelato, the dessert course felt evocative of a late summer evening in Italy. The combination was unfussy and romantic, inviting guests to linger, savor, and share. Rather than a grand display, the cake became part of a moment quiet, indulgent, and deeply atmospheric—perfectly closing a celebration defined by warmth, elegance, and timeless simplicity.

Guests were welcomed with a pre-ceremony gathering in the gardens at the hotel’s entrance, followed by the wedding ceremony. Afterward, an aperitif was served inside the hotel’s elegant indoor spaces. Dinner then took place at sunset on the iconic Vittoria terrace overlooking the Gulf of Sorrento, where round tables were set beneath the open sky, and a live band created a truly magical atmosphere. The five-course dinner was thoughtfully interspersed with heartfelt speeches, allowing guests to savor both the cuisine and the celebration. The menu showcased a refined and sophisticated interpretation of traditional Italian cuisine, highlighting impeccable flavors and presentation.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The floral and décor palette embraced delicate shades of light blue, paired with crisp white and the vibrant yellow of lemons. The ceremony took place on the hotel’s side terrace, where a white fabric draping extended across the entire ceiling of the aisle, creating a soft and airy atmosphere. A gazebo provided gentle shade for the couple, while loose, organic floral arrangements lined the white aisle runner. Light side drapery moved gracefully with the coastal breeze, enhancing the sense of effortless elegance. Round reception tables were styled with flowing centerpieces featuring white, blue, and green florals, creating a natural and refined look. Each guest’s place was marked with a lemon bearing their name, a charming nod to traditional Sorrento décor. The bridal bouquet and bridal party accessories echoed the same floral aesthetic, ensuring a cohesive and timeless design throughout the celebration.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

The wedding cake featured a five-tier design finished in a smooth white glaze, with layers filled with light chantilly cream and fresh strawberries. Floral accents, designed by the florist, completed the look with an organic and refined touch, perfectly matching the style of the wedding. A selection of traditional Neapolitan pastries was also displayed, adding a sweet nod to local tradition.

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

Entertainment truly made the difference throughout the entire celebration. The symbolic ceremony was officiated by the couple’s aunt, and featured deeply moving readings, paired with carefully chosen songs that created an intimate and magical atmosphere. Music was curated by Red Monium, who accompanied guests from their arrival through every moment of the day with ever-evolving performances. From soulful saxophone melodies to international pop hits, alongside beloved Italian classics, the music set the tone for each phase of the celebration. The evening culminated in an unforgettable party in the ballroom, complete with dancers and costumes that transformed the reception into a vibrant and joyful experience.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

The wedding took place on the bride’s parents’ 34th wedding anniversary. In a special gesture, the bride wears her mother’s original wedding band, which is now newly engraved with the dates “8.31.1991; 2025”. The day was also significant for the groom, as it marked the birthday of his late grandfather.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

One of the most meaningful moments of the celebration paid tribute to Italian tradition and the soul of the location. The hotel is famously associated with the iconic song Caruso by Lucio Dalla—an enduring ode to the beauty of the Gulf of Sorrento. Hearing this timeless melody performed during the dinner was a truly moving moment, offering a heartfelt homage to Italian culture and the magic of the setting.

Instead of traditional father-daughter / mother-son dances, both the bride and her father, the groom and his mother, and the bride’s mother and groom’s father waltzed together to a contemporary remix of Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon”, symbolizing the new union of their two families.

A Florence Wedding with Airy Pastels, Sculptural Florals, and a Fashion-Inspired Atmosphere

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

Inspired by the late-summer Tuscan landscape, Karla envisioned a color palette that felt soft, romantic, and light. The palette centered around airy pastels, blush, seafoam, pale blue, sage, and soft butter yellow, layered against warm stone and natural greenery. The effect was feminine and luminous rather than bold or graphic, a palette that felt timeless, effortless, and perfectly in harmony with the Italian countryside.

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Karla, together with her wedding planner Katia of The Tuscan Wedding, approached the celebration as the creation of an atmosphere rather than a defined theme—one inspired by the Italian countryside, the softness of late summer, and a shared appreciation for timeless fashion infused with a modern fairytale sensibility. Rather than following trends, their vision was guided by emotion and intention: a palette of beautiful pastels, sculptural silhouettes, airy floral compositions, and an overall sense of lightness that flowed seamlessly through every detail. The result was an aesthetic that felt elegant and curated without ever appearing styled—more akin to a fashion editorial unfolding organically within a garden setting than a traditional wedding. Each element was thoughtfully selected to feel cohesive yet effortless, allowing the landscape, the people, and the emotion of the day to remain at the heart of the experience.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Karla and Darren’s love story began with a blind date set up by two friends, a quiet beginning that would soon unfold into a life shaped by travel, intention, and deep connection. In September 2024, while traveling together in Sardinia, Italy, Darren planned a moment that felt as effortless as it was unforgettable. On a warm, sunlit afternoon, the two were sailing off the coast near Cala di Volpe, surrounded by endless blue water and the stillness of the sea. Karla thought it was simply another beautiful day in one of their favorite places. Then Darren asked her to sit with him at the front of the boat, and, completely unexpectedly, got down on one knee. The proposal was intimate and emotional. Darren shared how certain he was about their future and how he wanted to spend his life exploring the world and building a home with Karla. She said yes through happy tears, laughter, and a moment that felt both surreal and grounding all at once. They continued sailing that afternoon, letting the moment unfold slowly, before celebrating with a romantic dinner overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. One year later, in September 2025, Karla and Darren returned to Italy to be married in Tuscany, completing a love story that began with a blind date, bloomed on a boat in Sardinia, and came full circle in the Italian countryside.

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]Karla chose a strapless lace gown by Ines Di Santo, drawn to its sculptural yet romantic silhouette and timeless Italian elegance. The structured corseted bodice and sweetheart neckline created a refined, feminine shape, while the delicate lace detailing and soft, sweeping train added a sense of effortless romance.

The gown felt both classic and modern, a perfect reflection of the setting in the Tuscan countryside and the understated sophistication Karla envisioned for the day. Elegant without feeling formal, and romantic without being overly ornate, the dress embodied everything she wanted to feel as a bride: timeless, confident, and completely herself.[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]

Rather than choosing a single bridesmaid dress, Karla wanted each bridesmaid to feel like herself. She invited her bridesmaids to select their own gowns in a soft, harmonious palette, allowing personal style, silhouette, and texture to guide each choice. The result was a beautifully layered look of pastels and movement: flowing satin slips, airy chiffon, soft pleats, and romantic ruffles in shades of blush, seafoam, sky blue, pale yellow, and sage. Designers ranged from McDuggal and Amsale to NANA Jacqueline, creating a mix that felt curated but never uniform. Together, the dresses felt joyful, feminine, and expressive, a reflection of the women themselves, and of Karla’s desire for the day to feel personal, warm, and effortlessly elegant.

[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]Darren wore a white Hugo Boss tuxedo jacket paired with classic black trousers and a black bow tie, a look that felt timeless, refined, and perfectly suited to the Italian countryside. He completed the look with Loro Piana shoes and a Rolex Yacht-Master 42 in yellow gold, subtle and contemporary that added warmth and texture to the classic silhouette.
The groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos, creating a clean, elegant contrast to both Darren’s look and the soft pastel tones of the bridesmaids, allowing the romance and color of the setting to take center stage.[/field]

A thoughtfully curated Tuscan menu showcasing local flavors provided by Roland’s catering: a rich aperitif with artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and chef-crafted bites, followed by a multi-course seated dinner of fresh pasta, premium meats or seafood, and regional wines. The evening ends with a live cake show-cooking, desserts, and after-dinner drinks.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The floral design by Il Giardino delle Fate florist was conceived as an immersive, nature-driven narrative, deeply rooted in seasonality and the philosophy of slow flowers. A refined palette of soft whites, gentle blush, pale blue, and fresh green tones echoed the surrounding Tuscan landscape, creating a sense of effortless harmony between the setting and the décor. The ceremony space was defined by a sculptural, floral low arch, designed with abundant blooms at the front and layered greenery behind, framing the moment with a natural yet architectural presence. Along the aisle, elegant, non-continuous floral arrangements guided the guests’ view, complemented by a crisp white runner and delicate petals placed on each chair, enhancing the romantic atmosphere without overpowering the space. As the celebration transitioned into dinner, the floral elements evolved seamlessly. Round tables were adorned with lush yet airy centerpieces, composed in low vessels to encourage conversation, while a serpentine flow of candles connected each table, casting a warm, intimate glow. Three tonal variations of candles added depth and visual rhythm, elevating the tablescape into a refined, candlelit landscape. Every detail—from the bridal bouquet to the smallest floral accents—was designed to feel organic, elegant, and timeless, creating a cohesive visual story that celebrated natural beauty, craftsmanship, and understated luxury.

In an elegant live show-cooking moment, the bride and groom took center stage, personally preparing and assembling their wedding millefeuille before their guests, delicately layered with chocolate drops and finished with fresh mixed berries.

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]For Darren and Karla, music was never meant to be just a background element—it was the heartbeat of their celebration. An intimate wedding with just over sixty guests became, through sound and energy, something far greater: a night that felt expansive, electric, and unforgettable.

From the very first notes, Tasten Sax transformed the atmosphere. What began as a refined and elegant soundtrack quickly evolved into a full-scale celebration, where the dance floor never lost momentum. The live saxophone moved effortlessly through the crowd, creating a sense of connection and shared joy that blurred the line between performers and guests.

As Darren later shared, “They truly made it a party.”
Despite the intimate size of the wedding, the energy was magnified—“It felt like 120 people.” That is the signature of Tasten Sax: the rare ability to elevate a space, amplify emotion, and turn a carefully curated gathering into a euphoric celebration.

Every performance is guided by intuition and presence. Reading the room, responding to the crowd, and building energy in real time, Tasten Sax crafted a party that felt spontaneous yet perfectly balanced—where elegance met pure, unfiltered fun.

For Darren, it was a dream come true.
For everyone else, it was a night they will never forget.[/field]

Fireworks. At the moment of the cake cutting, the night sky came alive in a breathtaking display of light and emotion. The fireworks by Pirotecnica Soldi framed Karla and Darren’s celebration, elevating the moment into a truly unforgettable finale, suspended between wonder and romance.

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

Seating chart (luggage tags): the seating chart was reimagined as a bespoke design detail: elegant leather luggage tags, each meticulously engraved with the guest’s name. Inside every tag, a discreet card revealed the assigned table and seat, transforming a practical element into a tactile keepsake and an intimate gesture of welcome.

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

Menus with personalized calligraphy. The wedding menu By Laura Mazzetti – The Wedding Letter, was designed as a sculptural, fashion-forward detail within the tablescape. Its soft, rounded silhouette—layered in delicate, petal-like shapes—introduced a sense of movement and refinement, echoing the organic lines of the floral design. Rendered in powdery hues with subtle gold lettering and finished with a silk ribbon and a single blush rose, each menu resembled a curated accessory rather than a traditional paper piece. A tactile expression of modern romance, where form, texture, and craftsmanship came together in effortless editorial elegance.

A Moody Earth-Toned Wedding Layered in Textures and a Candlelit Romantic Glow

Olive Green, Mauve, Burgundy Wine, and Toffee

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

The bride wanted a moody wedding with natural, earthy tones while still feeling romantic and classic. She included different textures throughout to embody the earthy tones by incorporating moss, different fabrics, and fruit detailing in the wedding. The warm glow of candles and lamps added a nice touch to the soft mood aesthetic. It felt intimate, glowy, and romantic, just like the newly married couple.

In April, Carson and Eric went to Austin, Texas, to celebrate Carson’s birthday. While there, they went to Lake Travis and were getting ready for dinner to celebrate. Before dinner, Eric took Carson to the lake and got down on one knee and popped the question. Carson said yes, and both of their families surprised them at the lake. It was a sweet evening to celebrate the engagement with loved ones and a birthday Carson will never forget.

The bride wanted a simple yet elegant gown with intentional detail for her wedding day. She wore a crepe gown that lay smoothly with a strapless scooped neckline and boning stitch lines on the bodice. She added buttons down the back to elevate the gown with more detail. It had a long and graceful train to complement the flattering silhouette of the wedding gown. It was effortlessly the moment, yet subtle in its own way.

The bridesmaids wore black satin gowns to complement the groomsmen’s tux and their antique hydrangeas. Each bridesmaid chose their own dress style to feel most comfortable and beautiful in while matching in the color of elegant black.

[field title=”Food & Drink”]The bride and groom wanted elegant and delicious food and drinks for their guests to enjoy. At cocktail hour, guests were served wine and the signature cocktail as they entered the space. The bar hosted lots of spirits, including the Bride’s signature drink, a Classic Margarita with Tajin on the rim. The groom opted for a signature drink of Diet Coke with a lime wedge. During cocktail hour, guests were served passed hors d’oeuvres, including a beef carpaccio on grilled focaccia toast with dijon caper cream and micro arugula, smashed avocado tostadas garnished with pomegranate arils, and chicken tinga quesadilla with honey chile lime crema on top. The guests moved into the reception space and were greeted with a glass of champagne and a plated field green salad with tart apples, dried cranberries, candied pecans, and cider vinaigrette. On the table was grilled focaccia brushed with herbed olive oil and served with whipped butter. The main course was passed next with the guest’s choice of red wine braised short ribs or pan-roasted airline breast of chicken with fig reduction. The entrees were served with rosemary new potatoes and charred broccolini. The food was absolutely divine from start to finish!
[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The florals and decor exemplified the romantic atmosphere and moody vibes. Florals were vibrant and brightened the space, while the moss and greenery hanging from the light fixture were earthy. Various roses, hydrangeas, amaranth, moss, and more florals flowed together, creating the perfect autumn floral scape. The tables dressed in linens were lined with beautiful floral arrangements, warm candles, table lamps, moss, seasonal fruits, white plates, satin napkins, gold cutlery, green velvet table numbers, and beautiful stationery. The checkered green and white dance floor complemented the moody tones of the florals. The cocktail space had a velvet lounge set with warm lighting. The seating chart was a beautiful light oak wooden table with an elegant floral arrangement consisting of the same autumn components and escort cards. At the end of the night, the cake stand had its moment. It was a mauve satin linen with a white marble cake stand, florals blooming from all around the table, and taper candles tied with satin ribbon bows. From start to finish, the florals and decor seamlessly conveyed the desire for a soft, moody, and romantic wedding.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was a beautiful white vintage heart-shaped cake with “Just Married” written on top. It was a lovely gluten-free almond cake with buttercream icing. The groom (not gluten-free) said it was the best gluten-free dessert he had ever tasted! Truly delicious and gorgeous.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

The bride and groom love coffee. One of their first dates was over a coffee, bright and early in the morning. They wanted to add a fun surprise for guests and incorporate their love for coffee into the wedding. Plus, coffee helps the dance floor be more energetic and lively. It was a hit! The coffee cart came out after dinner and served matcha, tea, hot chocolate, seasonal and classic latte flavors, and regular coffee. People raved over the coffee cart as a source of joy and energy to keep the wedding lively.

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

The couple had a crest made with their first initials for the wedding to add a personal detail to the event. It was seen first in the invitation to set the intention. On the wedding day, it was printed on the linen welcome sign, flowing in the wind at the entrance. Then, on the programs during the ceremony. It was also featured on the frosted cups at cocktail hour and the back of the menus at dinner. It was a tiny reminder of the couple spread throughout the night that made it special and memorable.
