Taylor and Domenic’s wedding was a perfect mix of classy elegance and garden party. Their reception shone with white linens and chairs while white roses hydrangeas flowed down the center of the head table, flanked by delicate china painted with trailing greenery. The wedding party wore black suits and pale blue dresses with a delicate floral pattern.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Domenic proposed to Taylor while golfing, a passion shared by the two. After making a six-foot putt on the third green, Taylor reached in to retrieve her ball and was instead met with a velvet ring box! Domenic got down on one knee, and Taylor, of course, said yes! In an adorable effort to share their love of golf with their friends and family, the couple had a putting green set up during their cocktail hour. [/field]

From the ever-so-slightly scooped neckline to the robust tulle skirt, delicate floral appliqué adorned Taylor’s pure-white wedding gown. A row of tiny, white buttons trailed down the bodice, and a simple ruffle lined the neckline. Taylor’s veil, trimmed in lace, perfectly framed the train of her gown.

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids’ floor-length dresses in an array of silhouettes found cohesion in their identical fabric: pale blue with a pattern of flowers to tie into the floral design of the bride’s gown. Adorned with a variety of accents from pearls to bows and ruffles, each dress was uniquely its own while seamlessly matching the group.[/field]

The groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos paired with black bow ties and patent leather shoes, and each had a single white flower pinned to their lapel. The groom stood out in a white tuxedo jacket with black satin lapels, which he donned during the reception, opting to stick with the classic black tuxedo for the couple’s ceremony.

The couple offered their guests a full bar with wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic options, and toasted their nuptials with a couple of Miller Lites. Waitstaff with trays of canapes made their rounds during cocktail hour, and guests had the option of chicken piccata, filet mignon, or spaghetti puttanesca for dinner.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]
Lush white hydrangeas, roses, and lilies brought a garden party aesthetic to Taylor & Domenic’s wedding day. The focal point of each reception table was a simple vase of blooms harvested at their peak, and Taylor’s bouquet of soft peonies and hydrangeas stood apart from the rest. From the floral accents on Taylor’s gown and her bridesmaids’ dresses to the delicate greenery painted on the china, botanical decor peeked out at every turn.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Five tiers of buttercream perfection stood in the center of Taylor and Domenic’s reception. Their vintage-style wedding cake with a mix of fresh and sugar floral accents brought together the couple’s combination of classic elegance and garden party vibes.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]
Having Italian roots on the groom’s side, the couple had the priest perform a portion of the ceremony in Italian. The couple’s first dance was to a song from the groom’s favorite movie, About Time. Taylor had never seen the movie before, and when they watched it together for the first time, she loved the song so much! She immediately knew it would be perfect for their first dance since it came from Domenic’s favorite movie.

In addition to the classic first look with her dad, Taylor also did a separate first look with her brother and her fiancé’s brothers. It was so special to witness the joy that they had seeing their sister and future sister-in-law ready to walk down the aisle!

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]
During the ceremony, Taylor and Domenic used a silver cup for communion that was used by the bride’s great-great-grandmother while she was a student at Saint Mary’s in 1894. With their ceremony taking place at Saint Mary’s, it was incredibly special to tie in this Saint Mary’s family heirloom.

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]
The bride and groom’s signature drinks were Guinness and Peroni (respectively) to represent the bride’s Irish heritage and the groom’s Italian heritage, and the embossing on their wedding invitations was made to match the embossed pattern that the bride’s parents had on their own wedding invitations.
