Colors: White, Green, Blue, Tan. The palette was drawn from the natural surroundings of Maui. Soft sand, sun-bleached driftwood, and warm stone formed the foundation. Layered whites echoed clouds and delicate garden blooms, while hints of palm green and sky blue added dimension. The overall effect was calm, airy, and organic, with a focus on natural textures and tonal variation rather than bold contrast.

From Couture Events: “Our design for Cassie and Peter was classic and refined with subtle Maui-inspired elements. We focused on clean lines, natural textures, and a neutral palette, combining soft garden florals with a touch of tropical. The look was elegant, understated, and intentional, timeless without feeling too traditional.”

For the wedding day, Cassie wore the Luni Gown by Kyha Bride, “maximalism made for minimalists,” with a structured scoop neckline, luminous duchess satin, and a subtle split that brought a fresh, modern edge to the timeless ball gown silhouette. The celebration weekend began with a light-blue two-piece by @kaoaofficial for the welcome sail, breezy, feminine, and perfectly in tune with Maui’s ocean palette! Followed by the Moon gown by @katherinetash for the rehearsal evening, sleek and romantic in every detail. Each look felt intentional, refined, and effortlessly chic. A true reflection of her personal style.

Following the ceremony, guests were welcomed with chilled, tropical-scented towels and artisanal cocktails — a thoughtful touch of island hospitality. Signature drinks included a modern take on the Mai Tai, crowned with lilikoi foam, and a bright, refreshing Paloma that perfectly captured Maui’s sun-soaked spirit. Adding a personal twist, the couple named their creations the “Getting Mauid Mai Tai” and “Bruin’s Paw-loma,” a playful nod to their beloved dog.

The floral palette combined soft garden blooms like ranunculus and lisianthus with tropical varieties such as orchids and tulip anthurium. Arrangements were kept low and composed in ceramic vessels, with a focus on tonal neutrals and subtle texture. Teresa Sena Designs did an amazing job of creating the classic and tropical look they were going for.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The couple shared a quiet cake-cutting moment, unannounced and intimate, just the two of them. The cake was as beautiful as it was delicious, a sweet pause in the celebration that felt effortlessly genuine.[/field]

The ceremony took place oceanfront on Maui at the breathtaking Olowalu Plantation House, framed by the island’s natural beauty. The design was kept minimal and romantic, featuring all-white ground florals with tropical textures. Guests were seated on wooden benches, with white umbrellas offering soft shade — a clean, natural aesthetic that allowed the setting to shine. For their reception, bistro lights and woven mini pendants created a warm, intimate atmosphere over a mix of round and long tables. Couture Events used a combination of white tabletops and wood accents, upholstered chairs, and woven chargers to bring in texture. Each place setting was finished with a single Thai orchid and custom paper goods from Swell Press for a clean, modern vibe. A relaxed lounge area was thoughtfully styled near the bar, featuring white upholstered seating, natural wood accents, and softly glowing fire tables. The inviting setup offered guests a comfortable place to gather, perfectly balancing the more structured dining layout.

The Bar Design: The crescent cane bar was a central visual element. Suspended woven pendants overhead added height and warmth. The bar offered classic cocktails, serving as both a design feature and a social gathering space.

A Weekend Designed for Their Guests. The festivities began with a sunset sail aboard the ShangriLa, where guests dressed in all-white enjoyed ocean views and golden-hour breezes as they toasted to the weekend ahead. The bride stood out effortlessly in a light-blue two-piece ensemble, a soft nod to the hues of the Pacific — the perfect prelude to the days of celebration that followed. The following afternoon, the group gathered for a beachfront welcome party at Ulu Kitchen at The Westin Ka’anapali Resort and Spa, where guests mingled over local bites, tropical cocktails, and live music by Tad Jennings, a beloved talent from Oʻahu. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the evening set a warm, joyful tone for the celebration to come — casual, vibrant, and unmistakably Maui.
