Florida Seaside Bridal Shower

This seaside beauty takes beachside brunching to an entirely new level of chic. Showering the beautiful Bride-to-be with Myrtie Blue blooms and a peachy keen cake, this stunning fete from the lens of Kaylie B. Poplin is bridal shower inspiration like you’ve never seen before. From the tables lined with treasures from the sea, to the sweet babies in attendance, every detail is waiting for you in this gorgeous gallery.

From Kaylie B. Poplin PhotographyI am all things coastal and floral. When I moved to the Emerald Coast nine years ago, I knew that I would be calling this place home for as far as I could see. The emerald waters that crash along the shore, the sound of sea gulls in the mornings, the scent of salty air… all of it has encompassed all of me. Here I am about to marry a Florida boy in a few weeks that I met after I moved here, so naturally, when it came time to talk about a bridal shower, I didn’t even have to think about it. I knew that I wanted it to be on the beach where I said that I would call this place home for as long as I could… and the same beach where I spent a Summer getting to know that Florida boy I will marry. This bridal shower is everything that I am and that I love all wrapped up into details, faces and place.

As soon as I decided that I was going to pursue this dream shower, I contacted Tori of Victoria Austin Designs. She is a stylist whose work makes my mouth drop! The work that I had seen her do was aesthetically what I wanted, so I knew she would be the best one to bring the vision to life. She did just that, but in more ways that I could have asked for! I then spoke with Myrtie Blue who is known on the Emerald Coast and nationally for their work with florals. I sat down with Brian, told him my vision and the pops of color that I was wanting to incorporate and just as I knew he would, he absolutely nailed it!

Friends and family who have seen or were at the shower have all asked how it was done, and I say without a shadow of a doubt that it was because of the vendors involved. I also respond telling them that it was also brought to life by the ladies that came and made this experience and my life up to this point, the most perfect one I could have ever dreamed of.

Double Wedding at Palazzo del Sol

You know what’s better than one wedding on a sunny day in Florida?  Two weddings.  Two weddings with two beautiful (twin) sisters, both tying the knot to their handsome beaus in a beach chic extravaganza planned to perfection by Shelby Peaden Events.  And if this special day doesn’t totally make your Friday (it’s super awesome, after all), I don’t know what will.  See it all captured by Lauren Kinsey right here.

From Lauren Kinsey… Rachel and Ashley are identical twins and are extremely close, so it was not a question that they would both get married on the same day! The twins wanted a color palette of teal and plum to match the backdrop of the beauty of the Florida gulf coast, and specifically, the Palazzo del Sol private home. The weather for the wedding day was an absolute perfect fall day, with a little breeze and a slight nip in the air. Both girls chose to see their spouses before the ceremony to allow plenty of time for portraits, and also because they were each serving as maid of honor in their sister’s wedding.

Rachel married her husband, Nick, first, on the lawn behind the home, and while the lawn was being converted for the joint reception, guests were invited to play cornhole and have drinks on the front lawn. Ashley and David were married later in the afternoon on the beach, and the two couples hosted a fabulous reception following both weddings.

Florida Destination Wedding In Destin from Alena Bakutis Photography

Monday mornings call for some serious sweetness, and that’s just what you’ll see when you pour through all the gorgeous images from Alena Bakutis Photography of this downright darling Destin wedding. Intimate and filled with that casual elegance that just seems to make me melt, this gallery is one you won’t want to miss. See it all here.

From AlenaHannah and Rush, a young and fun couple, got hitched at Destin Bay House in Destin, Florida. Being from Tennessee, they wanted to have a beach wedding but keep it more private, so this venue worked perfectly!

Hannah and Rush have met in Chattanooga, TN while in college. After being together for 5 years, they’ve decided to tie a knot after Rush’s proposal in March of 2013. The reason why they chose to do it in Florida was because it’s their favorite vacation spot. Bride and groom dreamt of a clean and simple, yet elegant wedding with navies and corals for accents.

Hannah and Rush’s dream came true September 1, 2013! 0% chance of rain made their Big Day go flawless, although nobody expected a nice sunset after such a gloomy overcast day. Rush with his groomsmen definitely had fun, showcasing their love for golf! Even the groom’s cake was a golf field made out of green cupcakes.

Final Goodbye to Summer From Lauren Kinsey

If you know me at all, you know that just saying the word summer puts a little skip in my step. I love it with all my being. And although the other seasons have their moments of glory, summer always steals the show. So it’s no surprise that I fell head over heels in love with shoot from Lauren Kinsey – it’s the perfect way to send summer on her stylish way, and you can see it all right here. Until next time, sweet summer…

From LaurenIt’s near and dear to my heart, as this is a personal project I have been working on for close to two years. My concept for this shoot was a final goodbye to summer. As the weather turns cool, here on the gulf coast, we have very mild fall weather, but it’s still perfect for sailing. Hunter and Rayna are two of my favorite people in the world, and I have photographed them both many times before. It doesn’t hurt that Rayna is gorgeous to boot!

The dress Rayna is wearing is pure silk dress by Olivia and James. Hunter is wearing JCrew. My friend, Bonny, took us out on the coast early one morning to enjoy the beautiful breeze, and I was able to finally bring this vision to life and photograph some beautiful images of these two.

Destin Beach Wedding Inspiration from Simply Sarah Photography

It took about 2.5 seconds for me to fall madly in love with this gorgeous Destin Beach shoot from Simply Sarah Photography, and after that it was a full-blown love fest from start to finish.  I’m talking legitimate drooling over the fab stylings of Elisa Event Design, crazy cool paper goods from Lauren Chism Fine Papers and a gold (+ glittery) Badgley Mischka that will literally make your heart sing.  I guess that’s what happens when beautiful nautical stylings and laid-back beachy goodness join forces.  Pure, unadulterated happy.  See it all in the full gallery.

From Simply Sarah PhotographyClassy nautical, simple, and elegant were my three style words of inspiration and from it this beauty of a shoot was born. I have always had a slight obsession with love and all things nautical, so when the opportunity arose for me to combine the two and photograph Ana and Brayden on the Emerald Coast you can imagine how my heart squealed with glee! I immediately started dreaming about our soiree by the sea and with the help of Elisa Event Design we were able to pull it off even better than I ever imagined.
