Palos Verdes Wedding by Aaron Delesie and Carolyn Chen, III

Whatever your budget, whatever your wedding style, I think that we can all agree that this wedding is (word of the day) GORGEOUS. With Aaron Delesie's beyond beautiful images, Carolyn Chen's super chic, super elegant design and Mille Fiore's ridiculous flowers and decor...it's kind of like a little slice of wedding heaven.

Palos Verdes Wedding by Aaron Delesie and Carolyn Chen

The word of the day is...GORGEOUS. Really freaking gorgeous. This wedding will be a fairytale (from the budget to the style) for a lot of you, but it was so stunning that I simply couldn't resist. Plus, it was photographed by one of my all time favs, Aaron Delesie. Which was actually a perfect choice for the style of the day, as you'll see in the photographs. This wedding is the epitome of classic elegance. A soft, romantic color palette.

Modern DIY Wedding in New York

Rather than blab on and on about this wedding, I want to just dive right in. But I did want to quickly mention that one...it's indoors (finally) and two...it's modern and DIY. And really freaking gorgeous. Oh and the bride has been sweet enough to share all of the behind the scenes details so grab a cup of coffee and have a seat. This is a really good one.

Luis and I had a singular focus on making our wedding modern, fun, and festive. We didn't want just a wedding like everyone...

Kenwood Wedding with Total Style, II

Part two of our first real wedding of the New Year. That sounds so important doesn't it? Well, the wedding was pretty special, more than deserving of the title. I mentioned in my last post that my favorite thing about this affair (and my favorite new wedding trend for that matter) is the different hued bridesmaids dresses. So cute, such a fun way to infuse color, such a great way to give each girl a dress that she truly loves. But the adorableness didn't stop there. The reception was...

Kenwood Wedding with Total Style

The first post of the New Year is a bit like the first day of school. A little bit of nerves, a little bit of excitement, a little bit of a lazy hangover still lingering. We had a blissful week off (and by blissful I really mean totally insane with little spurts of relaxation that you can read about over on backstage) and managed to not only spend some much needed QT with our family, but also to spend some...

Winter Wedding by Erin Heart’s Court

For those of you that are stuck at work on the day before, the day before a holiday...I have just the treat for you. Courtney and Erin, two of my very favorite photographers, sent us the most blissful Winter wedding you've ever seen. So pretty, in fact, that upon first glance, you might even think it's fake. But it's not. The bride and groom are madly in love, the wedding was overflowing with joy, the day was filled to the...

Holiday DIY: Chocolate and Caramel Covered Apples

So. Running a pretty successful wedding blog definitely has its perks. Aside from just being a really cool job (and getting to work in my PJ's) we also happen to get really great little gifts right around the holidays. It's actually kind of awesome, although many of them are making me quite fat. In a good way. So, one of those treats that we loved the most were these incredible Chocolate and Caramel Covered Apples that Jessica over at...

Northern California Wedding, II

Olive Route, a letterpress studio in Berkeley, California, crafted all of the paper products for the wedding. From letterpress invitations to hand drawn maps of the grounds, each paper accessory complimented the style of the day to perfection. We heart Olive Route big time at SMP so we weren't surprised in the slightest to see Olivia's designs take center stage.
