A Pink-Filled Celebration That Perfectly Captured a Joyful, Effortless Bridal Spirit

[section title=”The Planning”]

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

McCall embodied the essence of a laid-back bride—bubbly, joyful, and always the life of the party. With a busy schedule to balance, she entrusted her mother, Kelly, to help shape the wedding of her dreams. Kelly’s background in event planning and interior design made her the natural choice to take the reins, and together they created a design that felt both effortless and intentional. McCall had just one request when it came to the design: she wanted the day to be filled with pink. From the softest blush tones to vibrant pops of rose, the palette became the heartbeat of the celebration.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

From the bride: “Matt proposed in Charleston, SC, during a trip over NewYear’ss with both of our immediate families. We went to lunch with our family, es and he told me that we were going to a food truck festival to meet up with a few of his friends who live in Charleston. We walked for about 20 minutes and got to White Point Garden, a beautiful park with gorgeous oak trees. And to my surprise, there was not a food truck in sight! We walked to the center of the park, where he got down on one knee and proposed. We then walked happily hand-in-hand to the Mills House, a pink (!) hotel with a stunning courtyard, where our families were (tearfully) waiting to celebrate! That weekend was NewYear’ss, so we got to start the new year engaged and ready to plan a wedding!”

From the bride: “For wedding dress inspiration, I knew I wanted something that looked girly and made a statement. I was drawn to playful dresses with floral elements that fit an outdoor spring wedding vibe. Before dress shopping, I did not have my mind set on any certain shape or fabric. I went with my mom and sister to shop for wedding dresses at The Bride Room in Nashville. They both spotted what would become my wedding dress, the Canto dress by Ines Di Santo. The dress is a strapless embroidered gown with a full A-line skirt. The fabric is Open Basket Weave Net with embroidered reverse appliqués. Little did I know the very FIRST dress I tried on would be the dress I wore on my wedding day! When I came out of the fitting room, I really felt like a bride. I had never seen anything like this dress before, and I loved the statement it made while still fitting the floral, springy vision for the day.”

From the bride: “For my bridesmaids’ dresses, I knew I wanted something pink and classic, as well as a dress that my bridal party would feel comfortable in. We chose a one-shoulder Bari Jay dress in the color Blush. I wanted my Maid of Honor and Matron of Honor to have a different dress to stand out a bit, so for them, I chose a strapless dress from Dessy Group in the pattern Bow And Blossom Print. I gifted my bridesmaids the most adorable flower pearl earrings, which really tied the look together. “

The culinary experience was every bit as intentional as the celebration itself. Guests were greeted with a trio of bespoke signature cocktails that reflected the couple’s story: The Old Atlanta, a classic Old Fashioned; The Rocky Top Rita, a spirited, spicy margarita; and The Freddie, a refreshing Greyhound named in honor of their beloved pup. The reception menu offered an elegant variety of stations, from Hillwood’s famed shrimp and grits to abundant antipasto displays brimming with artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and seasonal vegetables. A made-to-order pasta station provided a final indulgence, featuring garlic cream chicken and savory sausage with tomato cream sauce.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Knestrick by Design transformed the ceremony site with floral artistry that was both romantic and refined. The ceremony aisle was lined with lush clusters of pastel blooms—soft blush and ivory roses mingling with delicate blue delphinium and sprigs of greenery—creating a dreamy garden path that perfectly framed the couple’s vows. In the reception space, abundant arrangements spilling over the band stage in a cascade of roses, hydrangea, and seasonal blooms, while elegant centerpieces of pink ranunculus, garden roses, and taper candles brought warmth to each table. From the bride: “Since we were having the ceremony and cocktails right on the golf course, our vision was a bright, airy, and natural garden-inspired day. I envisioned florals that were neutral and timeless, which hints of pink, orange, and blue popping through. For my bridal bouquet, I wanted primarily white florals that were soft with a light touch of pink for brightness.”

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

The wedding cake was a true reflection of McCall’s bridal style, thoughtfully designed to echo the elegance of her gown. Delicate details drawn from the dress’s design were reimagined in sugar, creating a confection that felt both personal and breathtaking.

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

The thoughtful progression in music mirrored the couple’s vision: a day that honored tradition while embracing their fun and joyous personalities. It was important to the couple that their celebration struck the perfect balance between elegant and lively. For the ceremony, they chose a string quartet, creating a more intimate and romantic atmosphere. To set the tone for an unforgettable evening, they brought in an eight-piece band, ensuring the dance floor stayed full all night long.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

From the bride: “The bridal party got ready that morning at my parents’ house, which I loved. It was very special to be with all of my best friends in a place we all felt very comfortable in. We had a dance party to Mamma Mia on the outdoor patio, popped champagne, and got excited for the night ahead!”

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

From the bride: “We had a bourbon bar called “Freddie’s Place” (our dog) in a separate room that was a huge hit during the reception!”

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

From the bride: “For our send off, we had a 1964 Cadillac Convertible that took Matt and me from the reception to the Hermitage Hotel,l where we stayed the night of the wedding. My mom surprised us with a cold sparkler display during our send-off- it was MAGICAL! It was the most amazing end to our reception, along with the Ellie’s Doughnuts that were passed out as a late-night snack. It was such a blast driving through downtown to our hotel after just getting married!”

A Love That Weathered the Storm, Reimagined with Coastal Grace at The Ritz-Carlton Naples

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Greens, Blues, Blush & Lavender[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Just three weeks before their wedding, Hurricane Helene and Milton left this couple’s original venue in ruins. What could have been devastating instead became a story of resilience and beauty as their dream celebration was seamlessly reimagined at The Ritz-Carlton Naples. With extraordinary vision and calm under pressure, their planner and creative team transformed uncertainty into elegance, crafting a wedding that felt timeless, intentional, and meant to be all along. It was a day that beautifully reflected both the sophistication of Naples and the enduring joy of a love that could weather any storm. In imagining the design and overall vision, the couple wanted their big day to embody the spirit of Naples—a seamless harmony of coastal ease and timeless sophistication. Drawing inspiration from the city’s turquoise waters and lush palms, a palette of soft blues and greens set the foundation, grounding the event in its natural surroundings. Delicate layers of blush and lavender were woven into the florals, adding a romantic whimsy and subtle depth to the overall aesthetic. The result was a look that felt both organic and intentional: fresh, airy, and evocative of Naples itself, while still carrying the elegance and refinement of a destination-worthy wedding.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Alexis and Cash were introduced through a mutual friend in college and kept in touch throughout the years. In 2020, the couple reconnected at a birthday party in LA and started dating shortly thereafter. At the time, the couple did long distance, with Cash in Denver and Alexis in New York. Between trips to their two respective cities, Alexis made the official move to Denver to be closer to Cash. Two years and many adventures later, Cash popped the question at a rooftop lounge overlooking the mountains in Denver, 54thirty, the place he took her on her first visit to Denver. In addition to being under the same roof as Cash, moving to Denver meant Alexis was closer to Aspen, where she grew up visiting with family and friends. Cash quickly fell in love with the town as well, spending countless weekends and holidays skiing, hiking, and enjoying all of the shopping and dining the city has to offer. Their two dogs, Louis (Lab) and Clark (French Bulldog), enjoy exploring Aspen as well! When it came time to decide on an engagement shoot location, Aspen was immediately the place. The couple has a deep love for Hotel Jerome and enjoys martinis by the fire there, so the hotel needed to be a part of the shoot! In addition, the couple and Hunter Ryan Photography wanted to capture the charming downtown Aspen streetscape and beautiful fall foliage throughout the mountains. The couple got married on November 9, 2024, in Naples, FL

The bride wore a custom strapless A-Line Mira Zwillinger Wedding gown with Christian Louboutin heels. The second look she wore an ILA mini dress with Rene Caovilla heels. Both looks were complemented by a diamond necklace that the groom designed for her as a wedding present. “The Aquamarine ring I wore throughout our wedding day is a family ring on the groom’s side that has now been passed down through four generations of women. The ring was originally gifted to the grooms Great Grandmother when his Grandfather, “Paps, was born. The stone is an Aquamarine, the groom’s Grandfather’s birthstone. The groom’s mother (my now mother-in-law) gave it to me to wear on our wedding day, since I am the next woman to carry on the family name to future generations.”

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Rather than a traditional plated dinner, the couple chose an interactive dining experience with a variety of chef-curated stations where guests could sample a little of everything. The evening featured five unique offerings, beginning for many with the vodka ice luge—serving perfectly chilled martinis paired with a caviar bump. From there, guests indulged in an array of seafood, freshly rolled sushi, and the crowd favorite: a pasta bar showcasing Carbone-style spicy rigatoni and bucatini tossed right inside a Parmesan wheel. The station-style service created a relaxed, social atmosphere, encouraging guests to mix and mingle well into the night while savoring the custom menu designed by the Ritz culinary team.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The wedding design encompassed a palette of airy blues, fresh greens, and timeless whites with the addition of blush and lavender tones brought in through the floral and stationery elements. The bride carried a classic hand-tied bouquet of creamy white ranunculus and garden roses, accented with textural greenery, while her bridesmaids’ all-white blooms beautifully complemented their ocean-hued gowns. In the reception space, guests were welcomed into a ballroom transformed by cascading drapery, candlelit tablescapes, and grand floral arrangements that framed the room. Overhead, a custom lattice structure adorned with greenery and blooms floated above the dance floor, creating a striking focal point that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. “During the wedding planning process, I had my heart set on creating a never before seen ceiling installation in our Reception space. I wanted something that was one-of-a-kind and had never been done before. Anna and 50Fifty worked together to create the floral ceiling installation over the dancefloor, which truly was the focal point of the Reception space.”

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

A classic three-tier design was wrapped in smooth ivory buttercream, its simplicity elevated by the artful placement of fresh blooms in soft lavender and blush tones. The delicate florals cascaded organically around each tier, echoing the whimsical romance woven throughout the day’s design. The couple couldn’t choose just one favorite during their cake tasting; they loved every flavor they sampled! Their three-tiered cake featured a refreshing white cake with Florida key lime mousse, a rich chocolate cake with chocolate mousse, and a tropical pineapple cake filled with cream cheese icing, all finished in a smooth buttercream frosting.

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

The ceremony unfolded with the wedding party processing down the aisle to Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring.” Moments later, the bride made her entrance to Pachelbel’s “Canon in D,” a classic choice that set a romantic and reverent tone. Following their heartfelt vows, the newlyweds recessed joyfully to Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be,” a celebratory start to the festivities ahead. As the evening continued, The Headliners band kept the dance floor full, ensuring guests celebrated late into the night with energy, joy, and unforgettable music.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

The cup the groom and I drank out of at our cake cutting originally belonged to my Great Great Grandfather. It was presented to him by his congregation in Leeds, England, in 1922. When he immigrated to the United States, he brought it with him. My Great Grandparents, Grandparents, Parents, Cousins, and now my husband and I, have all drunk from this cup on our wedding day.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]My husband and I wanted to transition our guests from our Reception to a surprise After Party. At the end of our Reception, we went out to the terrace for fireworks and a Champagne Saber by the groom. Guests thought that was the end of the evening, but in reality during the fireworks my planner Anna and her team were transforming the Reception Room to an After Party Night Club Room with a DJ, LED dancefloor, dancers and LED robots, espresso martinis, etc. The guests were so excited to continue dancing the night away and celebrating! [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

“From the beginning of wedding planning, the groom and I knew we wanted to have a Caviar and Vodka Ice Display at our wedding. My planner and her team put our vision to life, creating a monogrammed ice luge sculpture that incorporated Vodka + Caviar service in a fun station for our guests.”

A Classically Inspired Celebration of Artistry and Custom Detail at Villa Astor on the Amalfi Coast

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

For the wedding, we chose a timeless and classic palette of white and green, a symbol of natural elegance and sophistication. For the pre-wedding, we opted for a fresh and original combination of peach and strawberry red, adding warmth and a distinctive touch to the entire décor.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

At the majestic Villa Astor, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea along the Amalfi Coast, the couple envisioned a classically inspired wedding with a distinct visual identity, rich in thoughtful, unexpected details crafted exclusively for them. Every space, every texture, and every object was designed to tell its story in a way that was elegant, personal, and deeply meaningful. One of the most striking elements was the sculptural flower-shaped lamps created especially for the celebration, which added a poetic atmosphere and strong visual impact. The decor was completed with fully custom textiles, including ruffled napkins, bespoke cushions, and tailored table linens that seamlessly blended with the villa’s natural beauty. A renowned pianist performed live during the ceremony, elevating the emotional resonance of the moment. The stationery suite, entirely handmade from pure cotton paper, stood out for its artisanal and tactile richness. The iconic motif of The Three Graces appeared as an embossed detail on both the seating chart and menus, evoking classical elegance and reinforcing the connection to Renaissance art. A hand-illustrated depiction of Villa Astor was created for the save the date, and each guest received a silk scarf featuring a custom landscape of Sorrento, the couple’s names, and the message Love from Sorrento, a refined keepsake filled with artistry and sentiment. A custom-designed dinnerware collection was created exclusively for the couple in soft green tones, delicately hand-painted with tiny lemons and their names, serving as both a decorative feature and a cherished memory of their wedding day. For the pre-wedding celebration, we embraced the joyful and spirited essence of southern Italy. Every element was entirely custom-designed, from coordinated umbrellas and a charming pizza stand adorned with ruffled linens to handcrafted lamps, puffs, inflatables, and playful details. The result was an immersive and vibrant setting that reflected both the couple’s personality and the Italian surroundings. This wedding was a true celebration of the art of customization, proof that every detail, no matter how small, has the power to make a celebration not only beautiful but entirely one of a kind.

A fully bespoke cocktail menu was also designed for the couple, reflecting their personal tastes and adding an intimate and exclusive detail to the celebration.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

For the floral design, we aimed for a fresh and soft look with rounded arrangements where hydrangeas took center stage. The combination of white and green was used thoughtfully to create harmony, volume, and perfect proportions. For the ceremony, we created an especially long aisle that framed the bride’s entrance beautifully, a moment that captured everyone’s attention and became one of the most emotional highlights of the day. At dinner, the centerpieces followed the same floral language, accompanied by flower beds placed along the floor next to the tables, adding depth, texture, and striking visual interest to the overall composition.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was a three-tier creation covered in cream, with each tier offering a different flavor. While it maintained a traditional look thanks to the creamy finish, we added a modern twist by choosing a soft eucalyptus green for the outer layer. This subtle color brought a fresh, contemporary feel to an otherwise classic design.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

The music for the ceremony was performed by Joep Beving, a renowned Dutch composer and pianist widely celebrated across Europe. He began playing during the welcome and continued throughout the ceremony, creating an atmosphere filled with deep emotion and timeless elegance.

A Coral-Kissed Celebration Bursting With Color, Joy, and Party Ready Energy

“Chandler, the bride, shared that she loved coral! Her only request was that we “plan a pretty wedding with pretty flowers,” and that is what we did!” said Neillie Butler, Mariée Ami’s owner.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

“This wedding design was a joyful reflection of the bride’s love for corals and bold, vibrant colors. Every detail was curated to set the stage for a true celebration — playful, energetic, and unforgettable. From the statement florals to the lively accents woven throughout the décor, the design captured her vision for a night that felt less like a formal affair and more like a fun, colorful party with friends. The result was a dynamic, high-spirited atmosphere that radiated warmth, happiness, and pure celebration.” Neillie Butler, Mariée Ami

“We met in medical school and were good friends through those four years,” Chandler recalls. “A year later, I was seated next to Will’s younger brother at a rehearsal dinner, and he mentioned that Will was single and back in Tennessee. The couple wanted to DANCE! So instead of a formal, seated dinner, they opted for a strolling reception to keep guests on the dance floor. Lounge seats and cocktail tables, as well as open-air estate tables,s gave guests a place to rest their feet. The menu offered savory garlic-thyme marinated tenderloins of beef with peppercorn jus and horseradish creme, grilled vegetables, and roasted potatoes with chive creme and apple-smoked bacon. Absolutely divine!

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The wedding day was a vibrant celebration, designed with a “no such thing as too many flowers” approach. “I love light orange roses, and Will loves hydrangeas,” Chandler said. Harvey Designs blended their preferences into show-stopping arrangements of ranunculus, peonies, tulips, and more. Among the couple’s favorite elements? “The custom Chinoiserie bar and matching dance floor,” and “the sitting areas lining the outskirts of the dance floor.” Live citrus trees adorned the ten,t filling the air with their glorious scent.

Their four-tier cake stood 2 feet tall and was adorned with the lightest coral buttercream and delicately placed white hydrangea petals. The florals from the wedding carried through to the cake, tying everything together deliciously!

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

Their ceremony, held under a live oak with just their immediate family standing with them, was intimate yet traditional. “We had a short and simple ceremony that was still rooted in traditional liturgy,” the couple says, adding, “The most special part was that only our immediate family stood at the altar with us as opposed to the entire wedding party.”

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

Chandler and Will wanted to create a wedding that was entirely their own. The bride did not want to be yet another Memphis country club bride, and we had made lasting friendships with friends across the country. HollyOaks on the Marsh was a place where everyone could come together and be on vacation while celebrating a wedding!

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

“As a medical professional, I was on a 2-week research rotation, and my mom and I planned a road trip along the southern east coast to investigate potential wedding venues,” Chandler recalls. From Sea Island to Kiawah, nothing quite clicked—until an unplanned stop in Savannah changed everything. “As soon as we pulled up to the historic area, I blurted out, ‘THIS IS IT! I WANT TO GET MARRIED HERE!” she says. “I pulled out my phone and FaceTimed my groom (also a medical professional, who was asleep after working a night shift) to show him the fabulous trees and charming architecture in the most beautiful city I have ever seen.” Chandler’s mother, Louise, located HHollyoaksfirst as the ideal venue. A private family estate with vast lawns, 500-year-old live oaks with Spanish moss, and a beautiful marsh and river backdrop. “It was my dream for my Southern soirée wedding!” Chandler said. The sailcloth tent and custom deck were built as an overlook to the marshes and rivers that HollyOaks fronts. Truly an exquisite scene for the estate that was built in 1941. “HollyOaks is a private family estate, and the family hosts a small number of luxury weddings per year,” Chander said. “The grounds are phenomenal!” “The owners even hosted us for a charming cake tasting with our baker!” Chandler said. “It was set up on the veranda overlooking the stunning landscape, and every part was divine!”

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

Planning from afar didn’t faze them, thanks to a stellar planning team. “Our wedding planner Neillie Butler and the entire Mariée Ami team made planning a wedding from afar feel easy and fun!” Chandler recalls. “Will and I did a site visit with just our family in the fall of 2023, and then we did a second site visit with the Mariée Ami team in the Spring of 2024.” They even brought in drone footage to help map out the logistics. “Neillie’s creativity, organization, and attention to detail made the whole process feel seamless.” “My absolute favorite design elements were the custom Chinoiserie bar and matching dance floor,” Chandler added. “The most special part was that only our immediate family stood at the altar with us as opposed to the entire wedding party, and we had a short and simple ceremony rooted in traditional liturgy,” Chandler said. “It was perfect in every way!”

A Refined Lowcountry Garden Celebration in Charleston

[section title=”The Planning”]

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Stepping into Mia and Brandon’s celebration at the historic William Aiken House in Charleston, South Carolina, felt like entering a world where romance and refinement lived in perfect harmony. Set against the backdrop of a crisp November evening, the design vision was rooted in timeless elegance, elevated by details that felt intentional and deeply personal. The event encompassed the vibe of a classic Lowcountry garden party.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

It was during April of 2020 that we “matched” on Hinge (a dating app). Although bars & restaurants were temporarily closed due to the pandemic, after finding out that Brandon lived only a few miles from Mia’s Dad, we decided to meet up for a walk by the waterfront for our first date. While many businesses remained closed, our next few dates continued to be creative – homemade cocktails in the park, charcuterie & wine, and pizza & Netflix (Outerbanks to be exact), just to name a few. We started spending more and more time together, enjoying each other’s company during a crazy time. What started as dates in the park then turned into exploring bars & restaurants in Charleston, trips to Greenville and Lake Keowee, NYC, and Boston, all within the Summer after we met. In 2021, Mia officially moved to Charleston,n and the rest is history! He popped the question shortly after! After dinner at the Post House Inn in the OlVillageag,e Mt Pleasant (one of our favorite spots), we took a walk by the water, and that’s where Brandon proposed! We were lucky enough to celebrate shortly after with a family trip to Greece, where we took engagement photos along the coast of Corfu to commemorate this special time!

Mia and Brandon served Jalapeño Margaritas (named the Walter-ita after their beloved Golden Wiener dog) and a Bourbon and Ginger cocktail for their signature drinks. Because most of their guests were from out of town, they wanted to introduce their guests to Charleston through classic southern dishes. They served classic Lowcountry dishes during cocktail hour, such as chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes, and she crab soup shooters. They had a traveling raw bar and served guests fresh Charleston oysters. For dinner, they served braised short ribs and salmon accompanied by w lowcountry risotto. The food was out of this world!

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The florals and decor, lush arrangements of soft peach, ivory, and copper tones, were paired with textured greenery and accented with touches of autumn foliage, echoing the season and adding warmth to the design palette. The foliage wove in beautifully with the house’s storied gardens, spilling across tables and framing the ceremony in natural abundance. Candlelight flickered against glass and gold accents, softening the atmosphere into something both luxurious and inviting.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

Instead of a wedding cake, Mia and Brandon opted for an array of passed and displayed desserts. They served Oreo Cheesecake Bites, Bourbon Butterscotch Blondies, and Mini Jars of Banana Pudding. Passed desserts offered a more fun approach than a traditional slice of cake. There was something for everyone!

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”][/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

For Mia and Brandon, custom builds became a focal point for their wedding celebration. We designed and curated a custom 20-foot bar that matched perfectly with the lighting fixtures, stage facade, and the florals. A crisp green backdrop with trellis detailing was brought to life with florals and foliage woven throughout, while warm lanterns cast a golden glow overhead. It became a gathering point where guests lingered, sipping cocktails and soaking in the ambience.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

Continuity became a special detail very quickly during the planning process. A custom linen pattern became the visual thread of the celebration — appearing not only on the reception tables, but mirrored on the dance floor, matchboxes, and even the escort wall design. This repetition of motif tied the entire event together, creating a cohesive aesthetic that felt elevated, memorable, and undeniably personal.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]The final special detail was found in the delicate storytelling touches — from bespoke escort cards pressed with each guest’s name to late-night bites that surprised and delighted. Each element whispered of thoughtfulness, transforming design into experience.[/field]

A Peachy Aperitivo at Villa Malliana: A Sun-Soaked Celebration Bursting with Italian Spirit

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Coral, Peach, Pistachio green, Cream [/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Picture a super cool, fresh, and fun wedding celebration that had everyone buzzing with excitement! The couple’s vision was to create an atmosphere that was not only vibrant and warm but also perfectly matched the stunning beauty of the Villa Malliana in Bergamo (Italy) that served as their backdrop. To bring this vision to life, we infused the setting with the hues of orange. This color choice not only complemented the surroundings but also added a playful twist, evoking the vibe of an Italian aperitif. From start to finish, the wedding exuded a sense of spontaneity that had everyone on their feet. It was a celebration that radiated love, happiness, and a touch of that irresistible zest that only a peachy-orange palette can bring.

Marko proposed to Jasmine during a holiday in Greece, surprising her with a sparkly diamond ring, against a breathtaking Grecian coast. For Marko and Jasmine, travel is not just a hobby – it is a way of life. Every year brought new and exciting experiences as they explored the world together, earning them the title of true world trotters. Yet, amidst all their adventures, Greece held a special place in their hearts.

Jasmine’s wedding gown from Francesca Piccini romantically exuded refined elegance. The Italian wedding brand created this delicate lace that covered the corset and the sleeves of the bridal dress. The soft and smooth gown created sinuous waves around the signature sandals from Jimmy Choo.

[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Jasmine’s bridesmaids embraced individuality and personal style, opting for a diverse array of dresses in varying brands and shades instead of a uniform look. Trusting the unique tastes of her closest friends, Jasmine simply provided them with a color palette to guide their choices. The result was a dazzling display of diversity within the bridal party. Each bridesmaid carefully selected a dress that resonated with her personal style and preferences, adding her own touch to the ensemble. Although the dresses differed in style and hue, the overall effect was nothing short of stunning.

Together, the bridesmaids created a harmonious blend of complementary colors and silhouettes that enhanced the beauty and charm of the group. Their decision to celebrate each other’s individuality only added to the magic of the day, showcasing a spectrum of hues that danced together in perfect harmony, creating a unique and unforgettable palette of shades.[/field]

When we are speaking about food and beverage in Italy, we are absolutely not worried about disappointment, and the whole world knows it. At Villa Malliana, everyone had an amazing time, eating delicious food and tasty wines from the traditional aperitif with the specialty from the Bergamo’s area such as the Casoncelli (which is a sort of raviolo with meat inside) to the “Citrus, rosemary and scampi risotto” passing to the tasty “Beef fillet with julienne’s vegetables and potatoes” that was the main course of the wedding menu.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Vertuani Fiori were invaluable and understood immediately the design proposal Wonder Events, prepared for the couple. Fabrizio and Ilaria brought to life stunning arrangements, bouquets, and tablescapes. The hues of orange and peachy tones were absolutely coming from the floral composition,n creating a perfect frame for the couple and the venue. The end of the aisle was literally framing the couple’s love during the ceremony and during their photo shoot. The same composition was reused for the cake cut, in order to have the same romantic effect also for the special moment of the cut.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

The wedding cake cut, started with the rhythm of the song of Maroon 5 “Sugar”, and while the guests were going to the right area to assist the cake cut, the mood of the guests was rising up, almost approaching the party. The wedding planners served the guests with the sparkles and while the song “This will be (an everlasting love)” – Natalie Cole, Jasmine and Marko could cut their white and berries 5 layered wedding cake. When the knight touched the soft layer of sweet, the cold fountain behind the newlywed start spreading creating a wow effect.

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

The songs throughout Marko and Jasmine’s wedding day were really heating the atmosphere. The small niece of the groom, Sofia, entered the long aisle, throwing flowers, with ” Here comes the sun” from the Beatles, causing a smile on all the guests due to the cuteness of the small kid, emphasized by the purity of the small white princess dress. The “kiss moment” during the ceremony was highlighted with the absolutely romantic and tearful “I don’t want to miss a thing” from Aerosmith. Of course, we couldn’t miss “Everybody” from the Backstreet Boys during the party.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

The preparation at Restaurant Da Vittorio, featuring the famous “Paccheri al pomodoro,” and the fanciest bridesmaids, all dressed up in gold, with glamorous sunglasses. It was the aim of the bride to have a super cool moment with her closest friend and mother to get ready for the biggest yes of her life.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

Jasmine and Marko have Lea, a sweet white fury dog, who was attending the wedding. She actually wasn’t just attending the wedding; she had a major duty on the wedding day. Lea brought the rings at the end of the aisle during the ceremony. It was the cutest moment ever, and had everyone crying out tears, due to the heavy connection the couple has with the dog, but also because Lea was absolutely great following the instructions to get her duty done.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

On June 29, Italy and Switzerland played a match in the European Cup. Since the couple is a Swiss couple and Switzerland won the game, the father of the bride wore the T-shirt of the Swiss players. It was a funny and happy moment, where all the Swiss people were celebrating both the wedding and the national glory. Of course, after 5 minutes with the Food-ball T-shirt, the mother of the brid, asked the husband to wear the shirt. This moment of genuine fun and happiness is the one that hhascharacterized the wedding day of Jasmine and Marko.

A Romantic Willow-Tree Ceremony and Garden Reception at Pennsylvania’s Appleford Estate

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

We envisioned a garden wedding with timeless elegance, so we kept the details simple yet beautiful. The color palette was understated, with white flowers and lush greens to complement the natural beauty of the garden and venue. My bridesmaids wore champagne silk dresses, which added a touch of softness without distracting from the surroundings.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

We wanted to embrace the beauty of nature, and Appleford Estate in the Pennsylvania suburbs provided the perfect backdrop. Surrounded by stunning gardens, we kept the design simple with white flowers, greenery, and tall taper candles that seamlessly complemented the venue. Our ceremony took place beneath a majestic willow tree, and the celebration flowed into an outdoor cocktail hour, where a violinist set a serene tone. The lively, tented reception offered breathtaking views of the gardens, and the live band kept the energy high all night. It was the perfect balance of elegance and celebration in a truly magical setting.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Andrew and I met during our time at Elon University and began dating at the start of our sophomore year. Eight years later, we’ve built a life together in Philadelphia, PA, with our family and puppy Millie. We’re so excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife! Andrew rented a charming house by the river in Pennsylvania, just a short drive from Philadelphia. We spent the day together, and when we walked to the water, he proposed under a stunning arch right on the river in the rain. When I turned around, our family and friends were cheering on the back porch. It was such a perfect weekend in the most beautiful setting.

Our cocktail hour food was absolutely amazing! Some standout passed hors d’oeuvres included mini lobster rolls served in soft, toasted brioche with butter, little poke bowls with ahi tuna, mango, cucumber, edamame, ponzu, and spicy mayo, and petite lamb chops crusted with fresh herbs and served with a mini chimichurri. We also had stunning cheese boards and antipasto stations that not only looked gorgeous but were absolutely delicious! We went with each of our favorites for the signature drinks! His was a cucumber gin & tonic, and Hers was a spicy pineapple margarita. It was such a fun way to add a personal touch to our celebration! Our entrée selections featured the following: Braised Short Ribs, which were slow-cooked and topped with a rich burgundy jus, served over creamy red bliss mashed potatoes with baby carrots and tri-colored cauliflower, a Pacific Salmon with a creamy lemon dill sauce, paired with traditional risotto, baby carrots, and tri-colored cauliflower, a Chicken Piccata (my favorite meal and a special addition by the chef) prepared in a white wine lemon caper sauce, served over angel hair pasta with grilled lemon and fresh asparagus and finally, a Truffle Mushroom Ravioli filled with savory mushrooms and complemented by spinach in a rich cremini and shiitake mushroom sauce.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Michelle chose a striking white bouquet of roses. She wanted the enriched colors of the garden to speak for themselves and loved the idea of a more neutral palette. The tables would feature round floral arrangements with some greenery and a mixture of white florals. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

Our wedding cake was absolutely delicious! It was a three-tier half yellow cake and half chocolate chip yellow cake, all covered in classic vanilla frosting. We got it from The Night Kitchen Bakery, and it was truly phenomenal.

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

The ceremony was set underneath a Chuppah. Set just beyond the willow tree at the gorgeous Appleford Estate. Earlier, there was a Ketubah signing where Michelle and Andrew chose their witnesses to be their beloved grandparents! You could feel the excitement in the room as they watched them sign their true marriage license and unite as one! Later on, Andrew would partake in the breaking of the glass sealed with a kiss and a celebration as they turned to their friends and family!

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

Appleford Estate is a stunning venue, tucked away in Philadelphia’s Main, with sprawling gardens and a charming, elegant atmosphere. The expansive gardens and the ability to host the wedding outdoors, paired with the intimate vibe and serenity of the property, are what made us fall in love with the venue. It’s such a well-maintained property with meticulous attention to detail and an incredible staff who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran perfectly. I also loved the seamless flow between the spaces, which made every moment feel special and connected.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]One detail I couldn’t live without was our drink toppers with our initials for our signature cocktails. Classic French Blue Meets Southern Charm in a Breezy Carolina Garden Celebration

For a May wedding set in the lush surroundings of a Carolina botanical garden, this wedding draws inspiration from the classic elegance of French blue and sage green, grounded in a refined blue-and-white palette. With the charm of timeless Southern style and the freshness of spring, the atmosphere will feel both elevated and effortless.

Chandler completely surprised Kristen with the proposal—she had convinced herself it would happen on another weekend and never expected it on a Sunday. That day, they had plans to meet one of Chandler’s work friends and his girlfriend for drinks, which felt unusual for a Sunday but seemed reasonable since the couple lived far away. Chandler suggested they walk to a nearby spot, but midway, he led Kristen on a detour through a park. There, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Just steps away, both of their families waited with champagne to celebrate. Kristen was completely taken off guard—outfit and all—which was exactly what Chandler had hoped for.

The special cocktail is a nod to the drink they had on their first date at Disney Springs found at The Boathouse. The menu included a buffet dinner and a dessert table with an array of pies, and bananas foster made on site.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Lush white and blue florals adorned the ceremony space and brought connection to the overflowing florals at the reception space, where a floral entrance led guests inside the barn to their seats. Arrangements lined the stage where then band played and trailed up the pillars in the barn.[/field]

The cake featured small sugar flowers throughout, with a nod to the bride’s dress and was a three tier cake on a glass table in the barn where the reception was held.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The couple share a love of Disney with the groom himself being a former Cast Member at Walt Disney World and added little nods of Disney throughout. The hot air balloon accents and rubber duck cocktails reference their first date at The Boathouse at Disney Springs. The bride had her perfume custom engraved at Disney with their family home on it. They used stamps of Walt Disney for the invitation suite, and the groom added the hidden Mickey to the day with his Mickey cufflinks.[/field]

The most noteworthy detail was the barn hand-built by the bride’s dad for the reception. Nine months went into building and preparing the barn for Jessica and Riley’s special day.

A Romantic Pink & Green Celebration Where Bespoke Stationery Set the Design Story

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]pink and green[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Brooke always envisioned a wedding that was timeless, elegant, and undeniably feminine. With a love for pinks, greens, and all things romantic, she wanted to embrace the charm of summer for her June celebration. Her custom stationery suite by Lupine Letters became our design inspiration, setting the tone for the day. We wove its delicate details throughout the celebration — from the bespoke decal gracing the dance floor to the lush ribbons and greenery installation suspended above it — creating a cohesive and enchanting atmosphere that felt both personal and unforgettable.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

” Luke proposed to me at Bowie House in Ft Worth, TX, in May 2024. Bowie House is a place we love to go – it has the cutest western chic atmosphere! He told me we were going to his “sister in law’s birthday dinner” and we should stop by the Bowie House for a drink with friends before dinner. We arrived at Bowie House, and he said all of his friends were up by the pool bar, so we should go up there… little did I know that was where he would propose 5 minutes later! We walked up there, and I saw the ring box and Bible with my new name on it sitting amongst beautiful flowersand he dropped to a knee and asked me to marry him!! It was the most beautiful evening. After the proposal, all of our family and friends came up there and joined us in a celebration. ” – Brooke

The wedding gown, a custom design by Mackenzie Brittingham of Stanley Korshak, perfectly embodied Brooke’s vision of simple, classic elegance with a dash of personality. “ This gown is crafted in luxurious silk faille and designed in a classic A-line gown silhouette. The skirt is adorned with delicate embroidered flowers. 3D flowers that bring subtle dimension and are finished with a pearl center. Completing the look, the matching veil cascades gracefully, embellished with hand-applied 3D flowers in organza, tulle, and gazaar. “ – Designer Mackenzie Brittingham

[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]

The Lula Kate bridesmaid dresses set the tone for this pink-and-green, preppy celebration with their soft blush hue and clean, classic silhouette. Featuring a flattering V-neckline, fitted bodice, and full-length skirt, the style struck the perfect balance between timeless and fresh. The tailored fit and minimal detailing let the cheerful color and delicate bouquets shine, creating a cohesive, light, and airy look. Perfect for a garden or coastal fête, these dresses added just the right dose of polished charm to the wedding party, while the bride’s house party complemented the look in floral dresses in coordinating shades of pink for a playful, feminine touch.

[/field]
[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]For this beach formal celebration, Luke and his groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos with crisp white shirts and black bow ties—a timeless look. Sharp tailoring and clean lines gave the ensemble a refined edge, while the groom’s custom gold cufflinks added a subtle personal touch. Their coordinated style provided a striking contrast to the wedding’s light, airy palette, grounding the preppy, feminine aesthetic with classic elegance.[/field]

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]The culinary experience was designed to feel both elevated and comforting, with guests encouraged to graze, mingle, and savor small plates throughout the evening. Strolling stations showcased refined takes on Southern comfort food, creating a relaxed, conversational flow that paired beautifully with the evening’s celebratory energy.
Signature cocktails brought a personal and playful energy to the bar: the “Bevo Mojito” was a nod to the groom’s University of Texas football days named after the longhorn steer mascot, while the “Sic ‘Em 75” paid homage to the bride’s Baylor dance team years as a rallying cry and traditional saying for sporting events—an affectionate play on their college rivalry. Guests were greeted with prosecco popsicles, a refreshing touch for the warm June evening. And for the sweetest farewell, grab-and-go cinnamon rolls—a favorite of the couple’s—were tucked into to-go boxes, sending guests home with a warm, nostalgic treat.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

We layered delicate patterns, airy textures, and lush blooms to create a setting that felt fresh yet enduring. The florals came to life as a lush, painterly expression of the season — every arrangement designed to reflect the bride’s romantic vision. Garden roses, peonies, hydrangea, and delicate seasonal blooms spilled effortlessly from white ceramic vessels, their colors dancing between blush, fuchsia, ivory, and soft green. Towering arrangements brought a sense of grandeur, while low, artful compositions on guest tables kept conversation flowing. Over the dance floor, greenery and blooms intertwined with fluttering silk ribbons, creating the feeling of a whimsical garden suspended in midair. Candlelight in soft green glass, woven rattan, and blush-toned votives added warmth and texture, making the florals feel even richer. The result was a space that felt both intimate and awe-inspiring — like stepping into summer in full bloom.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]A true showpiece of the reception, the couple’s all-white wedding cake was a sculptural statement, with sugar blooms cascading down five tiers to echo the floral appliqué of the bride’s gown. Each layer offered a unique flavor, making it as delicious as it was beautiful. Set against a botanical linen and framed by candlelight, the cake felt equal parts classic and couture.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

One of the night’s most electric moments came when Brooke and her fellow Baylor University Song Leader alumni hit the dance floor, pom poms in hand, to perform the Baylor fight song while custom green and gold lights lit up the room. It was pure fun—part college nostalgia, part show-stopping entertainment—and the perfect way to weave a piece of the bride’s world into the celebration.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

Brooke’s engagement ring holds a love story all its own; its gem once belonged to her great-grandmother. In a gesture worthy of a love story, her great-grandfather—then a young car salesman—traded a car to a jeweler for the stone, so he could ask for her hand. It’s a sparkling heirloom born from love, resourcefulness, and a bit of old-fashioned charm that now sparkles on Brooke’s finger.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

In a sentimental nod to family history, Brooke transformed her grandmother’s wedding dress into the robe she wore while getting ready for her own big day. The delicate lace details and fabric-covered buttons preserved the heirloom’s timeless beauty, creating a meaningful “something old” that wrapped her in love and legacy from the very start of the celebration.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Alex and Nicole’s love story began on November 2, 2019. On this very night, Nicole was with some friends for a girls’ night out in downtown Fort Lauderdale, dancing the night away! Alex and his friends were ironically at the same bar for a night out. Alex seized the opportunity and approached Nicole in an attempt to woo her. As they began to chat, she mentioned to him that he looked familiar, and Alex actually disagreed and said they he didn’t think they’d ever met before. After some small talk, they learned that Nicole was in fa,ct correct and they had both been at a mutual friend’s house a few weeks prior. The night went on, and Alex made sure to get her phone number before leaving. At the end of that night, after leaving the bar, Alex said to his friend, “I am going to marry that girl”. Turns out this time, he was right! The next morning, Alex reached out to Nicole and was persistent about taking her out on a first date. After making him wait about a week and a half (which was payback for not remembering her), Nicole agreed. Alex took Nicole to a local restaurant called Papa’s Raw Bar for dinner and drinks. This time, they got to talk with no loud music or interruptions and instantly clicked. Over the next few dates of effortless laughs and conversation, they became inseparable. Over the next four years, the pair created some of the most magical memories together. They traveled, attended dozens of concerts and sporting events together, spent time with each other’s friends and family, moved in together, and became pet parents together, adopting their very own fur baby named Cash! Alex proposed on October 6, 202,3, amongst the gorgeous Red Rock Canyons during a trip together in Las Vegas for Nicole’s birthday. Alex and Nicole have loved life together as an engaged couple, and are even more excited for their next chapter as husband and wife!

A Romantic Garden Wedding at Hotel Vin in Springtime

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The wedding colors- blush, moss green, and cream- created a romantic atmosphere, and the way they were tied into existing features of Hotel Vin made the reception feel as if it had always been meant for the space. Pulling inspiration from its architectural details, color undertones, and natural light, we built a palette that felt intentional and welcoming. As a result, the reception didn’t just fit the space- it belonged there.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

The couple wanted the wedding ceremony to be full of tradition and meaning, with the intimacy of the church making it seem deeply personal. Following the ceremony, they envisioned a French garden cocktail hour that flowed seamlessly into a romantic chateau reception. It exuded elegance, warmth, and was truly a reception out of a timeless love story.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Joe disguised the proposal as a gala that they had been invited to with his family. He even planted stories to make sure Lauren would suspect nothing of the proposal, which included looping his beloved family dog into the plot. When the day came, Joe picked Lauren up for the “gala”, but stopped at a trail close to his house, just the two of them, encapsulated with greenery. He got on one knee and popped the question, and the night was spent celebrating at an engagement party with their closest friends and family.

Lauren chose a lace-covered, timeless Pronovias wedding gown, paired with her mother’s diamond earrings. She wanted to feel not just beautiful, but authentic. Her vision was rooted in elegance that transcends trends: soft, refined, and quietly powerful. She wanted to look back on her wedding photos years down the line and still feel like herself. For the ceremony, she added a tulle overlay and cathedral veil to create a sense of separation between the ceremony and reception styles.

[/field]

The bridesmaids wore silk, moss green dresses, a perfect complement to the wedding’s overall aesthetic. Each bridesmaid chose her own style, adding a sense of individuality and ease to the day.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Stepping into a dream, where the lush beauty of a French garden merged with the elegance of a romantic dinner party, the florals and decor created a breathtaking canopy. From the organic arch over the ballroom entrance to the life-size trees around the reception space, it felt as if the flowers had simply grown into place. The tables themselves were a visual feast, draped in chinoiserie tablecloths and scattered with brass birds, butterflies, and dragonflies placed to add a whimsical touch.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was three tiers of classic elegance, adorned with delicate piping that echoed the romantic details of the rest of the day. In contrast, the groom’s cake was a nod to heritage and flavor: a classic Italian millefoglie cake, covered in colorful berries and powdered sugar. [/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

As Lauren made her way down the aisle of her childhood church with her father, the organist played Trumpet Voluntary, a piece that carries a sense of timeless grandeur and elegance. During cocktail hour, a string quartet set the tone for what was to come. The night continued as the DJ kept everyone dancing late into the night, continuing on to a rooftop after-party.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

As an architect, the groom’s father created a deep sense of meaning and intentionality by designing and building multiple pieces for the wedding. The escort board, wallpapered panels, and pedestals were all hand-made and custom-fit to the space, a true labor of love.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

The tablecloths, pillows, and all the guests’ napkins were custom-made to match the wallpaper that inspired the design of the reception. Each color in the fabric and wallpaper was matched to complement the ballroom and create an atmosphere of warmth and fullness.

One of their most important parts of this day was the overall guest experience. The couple wanted their guests to enjoy all of their favorite foods at their own leisure. Guests could access all of the stations for 2 hours through the evening as they drank and danced.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Florals and greenery were a huge part of the overall design. The bride loved the look of greenery. We hung it from pole tents, the tent entrance, over the dance floor, and down centerpieces. The rest of the flowers were fluffy white buds and babies breath. The bride carried a stunning bouquet of all white roses with long stems, while her ladies carried a mixture of her favorite flowers of both white roses and baby’s breath.

Color, Character, and Chinoiserie: A Cheerful Celebration Designed With Heart

Meredith and Trevor envisioned their wedding as a vibrant celebration filled with joyful color and personality! With the helpful design eye of the wedding planner, Weddings A la Carte, and thoughtful details from the moment friends received the chinoiserie-inspired invitation suite by Breault Studio, Meredith and Trevor were able to bring what they wanted to life – a beautiful and memorable celebration with their favorite people!

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Trevor proposed on a quintessentially warm Texas evening in early December of 2023 during “Holiday at the Arboretum”, where the Dallas gardens are beautifully lit with Christmas lights—one of Meredith’s favorite things. Having just landed back in Dallas from an out-of-state work trip, Meredith was not expecting this night to be forever memorable. Trevor popped the question in front of one of the fountains, with his parents secretly capturing the moment on camera. Meredith was then even more surprised to find her family and some of their friends waiting to celebrate a Smokey Rose across the street. [/field]

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as the bride made her entrance in a stunning strapless lace gown, named “Lucky” by Monique Lhuillier, purchased from the Neiman Marcus Bridal Salon, along with white Loeffler Randhal bow heels. The delicate lace bodice, with layers of airy tulle that floated with every step, felt timeless, yet whimsical. Once the reception was in full swing, Meredith slipped away to change into a sparkling bejeweled mini dress by Simkhai with Stuart Weitzman silver platform heels – perfect for dancing!

With a joyful, vibrant palette in mind, the bridesmaids brought it to life beautifully! Each chose a dress in a cheerful shade of pink, blue, or green, creating a colorful and cohesive look. Guests were instantly charmed as they entered cocktail hour, greeted by a full open bar featuring thoughtfully curated signature drinks. Dinner proved to be another standout moment of the evening, with stations offering something for every palate. The options included the couple’s favorite foods, from an Italian station to sizzling quesadillas and a classic carving station, to a fried rice bar! Hoping there was room for the dessert, along with a wedding cake, the couple delighted guests with a chocolate chip cookie table since the Groom’s Cake, chocolate with strawberry filling, and Longhorn shaped with a golf course on top, had its stand out moment at the Rehearsal Dinner the night prior!

Walking into the reception, guests were greeted with a beautiful welcome table highlighted by a pink blossom tree and flooded with chinoiserie pots, a tulip vase, and lined with BB J Travola lace linens. Floral artistry by Garden Gate Dallas brings the room to life with lush, garden-inspired arrangements bursting with spring blooms, vibrant color, and 5 large white blossom trees transforming the space into a whimsical wonderland. A green checkered dance floor added a fun focal point, inviting guests to dance the night away!

A Bright and Refined Celebration Where Hovering Florals and Soft Textures Set the Tone

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

Our wedding colors were light blue and light green! We wanted our wedding to feel timeless while still being light and colorful in every detail.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Our wedding planner, Katie Mcentire, made all of our wedding design dreams come to life more than we could have ever imagined!! My vision for the wedding was to make it bright, airy, and elegant, and to ensure that every detail was thoughtfully planned out. I absolutely loved how we incorporated different textures to fill the space, yet not overwhelm it. Every design choice was made to feel intentional yet unforced, creating an atmosphere that invites guests to slow down and enjoy everything from the day. Between the floral installations that seemed to hover in midair and the soft, patterned linens below, everything worked together to create a setting that felt both elevated and welcoming. Our goal was to make everything beautifully intentional, and the space did just that.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Our friendship started in the 3rd grade, and in high school, our love story began! Christian asked me out when we were juniors in high school, and 5 years later, he proposed in the same spot! We did long distance in college for 4 years, and our love grew stronger and stronger every year. The summer of 202,4, Christian walked me around the park where he had asked me out 5 years a, and I had zero clue he was about to propose, so clueless that when we walked near the setup up I smiled and said, “Someone is about to get engaged over there!” I had no idea that somebody was going to me, but so blessed that it was! Christian had thought out every detail, from a custom bible with my new last name and the day he had booked our wedding date engraved on it, to having beautiful flowers that were my favorite colors, and an ELEVEN-MINUTE speech. It was the most perfect proposal that I could have ever prayed for!

I got to wear the amazing Ines Di Santo “Canto” gown and matching veil with the same applique detailing. For the reception, I wanted to wear something fun and different. I wore a light blue Retrofete mini dress.

The bridesmaid dresses were the “Rene” from Amsale. They were the perfect timeless, elegant, flattering dress. And everyone could get down on the dance floor in them, which is the most important part!

Christian wanted to wear a unique color, so our tuxes were light/lake blue to match our wedding color. We got them from The Black Tux, and Christian got all of his groomsmen personalized dress socks that had something to do with their friendship.

During cocktail hour, there were hors d’oeuvres: bacon-wrapped shrimp, chicken feta puff pastries, and tomato bruschetta with garlic crostini from the incredible Event Group Catering Staff. Drinks at cocktail hour from Mint 2 Mix consisted of two specialty cocktails, a mango tango and a hibiscus margarita, as well as wine and beer. For our reception guests had a choice of pecan-crusted salmon, garlic steak, or chicken. As the night went on, we had a light night boozy bean cocktail to keep the guests energized for the dance floor!

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Our florals and decor were seriously a dream come true and felt like a fairytale. I was so thankful to get married in the spring to be able to incorporate all of my favorite flowers to fill the space and make it feel magical. Silks a Bloom incorporated all of my favorite flowers of hydrangeas, tulips, peonies, and so much more into the most beautiful arrangements. From the beautiful cross arrangement at our ceremony, the hanging hydrangea arrangements, and the amazing arrangements on the serpentine tables, every detail was perfectly thought out. Our decor also pulled everything together, and every detail was perfectly thought out. Some of my favorite decor pieces were our umbrellas filled with hydrangea at cocktail hour, our seating chart with the perfect lighting fixtures, handwritten messages on our napkins, seating arrangements, and a personalized round bar. Dayflower Designs made all of our signage dreams come to life and made sure every detail was thoughtfully personalized for our guests and us. Everything flowed perfectly and made the day more than we could have ever imagined.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

We had an amazing 5-layer cake from Shelby Lynn’s. It was simple yet grand, timeless, and elegant. The cake was a tall, sleek, white cake with a light green bow with our initials. Guests had the choice between chocolate, vanilla, chocolate with raspberry filling, or vanilla with strawberry filling cake.

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

Our amazing officiant, Cale, was our high school pastor growing up, which was so special to us. Our main goal in our ceremony was to glorify Christ and all he has done for us. Our officiant delivered the most special message that captured every detail of our story and put God at the center of it all. We were in a puddle of tears and full of laughter all together. During the ceremony, the cellist played “Praise” as our family came down the aisle, “Gratitude” for the bridal party, “The Blessing” as I walked down the aisle, “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us” during communion, and our DJ played Cheek to Cheek by Frank Sinatra for the exit. Our first dance song was “Nothing New” by Brandon Lake, and then our reception was an absolute party from the best DJ ever, JRedBeats! Seriously had the time of our lives at our favorite party ever!

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

Since we had such a large number of guests, we wanted to make sure every guest there still knew how special they were to us and how happy we were that they were there to celebrate with us. Hand-wrote a letter for all 300 guests, sharing sweet memories we have with them and how much they have impacted our lives. We knew we wanted to do this as soon as we got engaged, but seeing all the tears shed by people reading their notes was the most special moment.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

Our first date was at Whataburger in high school after a school basketball game. It led to a tradition of honey butter chicken biscuits after games! So we had to have a late-night snack of honey butter chicken biscuits for guests, which were a hit!

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

We really wanted to make sure that we got private quality time on our wedding day to soak it all in. Instead of doing a first look, we did a first touch while we prayed over our ceremony and did private personal vows, as well as had a private dinner after the ceremony. We are so thankful for the special time we get to just enjoy each other’s company, being the new Franciscos.

Drawing inspiration from their love of the coast, and their natural gravitation toward light and airy elements, Chance and Collin chose a palette of dusty blue, white, tan, and ivory.

Events by Genevieve brought the couple’s vision to life by infusing organic, nature-inspired details with maritime touches that spoke to their love of the coast. The celebration was woven with thoughtful beauty, from sophisticated florals and delicious food to fun details – like the wooden sailboat guest book and custom Roche Harbor bucket hats – creating an unforgettable day.

The wedding celebration was a true feast for the senses, with Roche Harbor showcasing the abundance of the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. Guests savored a beautiful Salish Sea oyster station alongside passed bites of lamb meatballs with a dash of rosemary-mint chimichurri, Korean barbecue bulgogi lettuce cups, and delicate Dungeness crab cakes. Dinner was an ode to the land and sea, featuring Roche Harbor’s renowned slow-roasted prime rib of beef and Salish Sea cedar plank Tyee king salmon, complemented by buttery Alaskan Weathervane scallops and sesame-crusted yellowfin tuna stations. To toast the evening, signature cocktails — a bold Midnight Manhattan and a playful Shipwrecked Mule — were served with custom stirrers featuring the couple’s beloved dog, a detail that made the experience as personal as it was unforgettable.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Emerald City Flowers brought the couple’s vision to life with lush florals that were a celebration of coastal romance, blending soft blue hues, creamy whites, and abundant green foliage. At the ceremony, everything from bridesmaid bouquets and flower girl baskets to the ground arrangements was thoughtfully designed, incorporating woven wicker baskets that reflected the desire for natural wooden elements. For the reception, layered, garden-inspired arrangements in the coastal palette transformed the space into a breathtaking ambiance. The reception tablescape was a seamless union of coastal elegance and natural charm, thoughtfully curated with wicker and glass holders from Emerald City Flowers and Events by Genevieve. Graceful blue printed linens from BBJ La Tavola set the foundation, while wicker chandeliers from Slavus Wedding Lights cast a warm, romantic glow for the reception. On the Wall Design Studio’s rattan table, number signs added a textural coastal detail, perfectly complementing the natural wooden elements throughout the design. The look was completed with refined tabletop rentals from CORT, creating a design that was as classic as it was inviting.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The couple’s four-tiered wedding cake from Alewa Bakeshop featured smooth layers of vanilla buttercream, delicate blue texture strokes – reminiscent of sea – and was adorned with small, white paper flowers. The design felt like an edible echo to the couple’s coastal vision. [/field]

Chance & Collin’s wooden sailboat guest book was a cherished highlight, inviting guests to leave their well-wishes upon a piece that beautifully channeled the day’s coastal spirit. It quickly became a beloved detail of the celebration, drawing smiles and admiration as friends and family added their notes to this timeless keepsake.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Another special detail of the festivities was the cigar bar, which offered guests a chance to savor and share conversation as the night unfolded. Each cigar was wrapped with a custom sticker designed by the couple, making the experience feel all the more personal and memorable.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]

The groom was gifted a custom handkerchief, thoughtfully designed by the bride’s mother, a tender gesture that wove family love and sentiment into the fabric of the celebration. Delicately stitched upon it were the words, “You captured the heart of my daughter in a way only you could,” a timeless token carried with him on their wedding day.

Château de Villette Elegance Meets Contemporary Couture in a Peach & Sage Palette

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The color palette for the wedding party mixed soft, earthy tones – namely peach, sage, and toffee. These hues appeared in the bridesmaids’ dresses and helped unify the aesthetic across the wedding.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

The wedding at Château de Villette in France had a grand, romantic château-setting vibe, mixing timeless elegance with bold touches. The design felt classical but with modern twists – for example, the bride’s gown had sculptural folds and embroidery, and multiple dress changes reflected different moods. The overall tone was intimate, refined, and full of thoughtful details.

[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Dara and Alex met during their first year at Cornell Law School (2015). Their romance grew through shared student life – study sessions, the cold Ithaca winters – and their personalities were often described as yin and yang. Later, Dara had a fellowship in Paris, where Alex lived with her; they explored museums and châteaus. Choosing France as the wedding location was partly to honor that chapter in their life together.

A Feminine Carmel Valley Ranch Wedding Where Garden Greens Meet Delicate Bows

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]White, green, blush[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

With touches of bows and hints of green, Shane and Josie were married at Carmel Valley Ranch in a celebration filled with elegant, feminine details. Josie worked closely with her mom throughout the planning process, discovering a green bar early on that became the cornerstone of their design. Colors and flowers were chosen to complement it, blending joyful blush blooms with a garden-inspired aesthetic. “Everything was beyond our wildest dreams,” the couple shared. After their Italian honeymoon, they look forward to reliving the day again and again through photos and cherished memories.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Josie says that Shane was both her first and last date on Bumble — an instant success story. After dating, moving in together, and welcoming two dogs into their family, the couple became engaged in August 2023. Shane had planned a trip to Napa, and Josie suspected what was coming — especially with her mom constantly saying, “I’m so excited for you.” She was almost certain the proposal would happen there. But instead, Shane chose a place with even deeper meaning: Josie’s parents’ home in California. On the beach, during a cozy picnic, Shane got down on one knee. “I cried instantly and of course said yes,” Josie recalled. They later returned to the house, where her parents were waiting to celebrate with a surprise engagement party. “The proposal was more perfect than I could have ever dreamed.”[/field]

Josie was stunned in a dramatic mermaid dress from Vera Wang. As she recounts, “I have always loved bows (before they were trendy), so I knew that I would walk down the aisle with a bow somewhere on my dress. To my surprise, the dress I cried in and fell in love with did not have a bow. I, of course, had to add one to put my own touch on it. I have never felt more beautiful in my life!” Later in the evening, she changed into a babydoll mini dress for the reception — complete with feminine ruffles and bows, of course.

Shane had just two requests — selecting the food and inviting donkeys to cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour across the manicured grounds, sipping drinks served by the farm’s sweet donkeys as live string players set the tone. For dinner, they dined on Shane’s selections of a little gem and apple salad and an all-natural filet of beef.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Together, Josie and Shane loved seeing it all come together: a lush floral arch, a signature cocktail sign illustrated with sketches of their dogs, a flower-box-inspired seating chart that doubled as a photo backdrop, and a custom crest woven throughout the decor. The evening unfolded into a reception awash in soft pink, where satiny tablecloths, crystal, candlelight, and a bow-adorned cake created a dreamy atmosphere.
