A Burst Of Beautiful Colors At Bel-Air Bay Club

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The more color, the better! That was our motto. When it came together, we landed on a fuchsia, coral, lavender and marigold theme to keep the upbeat color consistency going.[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Modern, colorful and bright in the midst of winter, with a lot of fun touches![/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Their relationship started on the value deck of the Oakland A’s infamous stadium, best known for its “old-school charm.” Alex, off a couple of seasons living and working in Alabama was working for the A’s media department, and Tessa was working her fun job – running around with the mascot and camera crew. On this day in 2014, Tessa was giving away an autographed baseball bat to a kid. From there, Alex came over and said hi briefly. Despite never running into each other before, they continued to bump into each other during that homestand. Shortly thereafter, Tessa solo trekked around Alaska and Alex left for Melbourne, Australia. It never seemed as if their paths would cross again, but they continued to stay in touch. Everyday. For three straight months. Fast forward eight years, four states, a dog, and an appearance on HGTV’s HouseHunters later, the bride and groom got engaged on January 8, 2022 on the beach in Corona Del Mar, California, a special place for the family where they celebrate holidays and picnic often. After a spa day for her birthday, Tessa arrived at the beach with a perfect sunset, a blanket and bed of roses in front of her, and a sign on their dog saying “Mom, will you marry dad?” The bride said yes, the couple and family celebrated on the beach and then finished off the night at karaoke, where the bride’s friends flew in and surprised her.

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]

The bride’s Galia Lahav Maya wedding dress was a mermaid-style gown with 3D embroidered flowers over silk tulle. The ivory cathedral veil was from Modern Dress in Iowa, intentionally purchased as a nod to the many states the couple has lived in. Lastly, her Ines Di Santo feather-trimmed reception dress came right off the runway and was rushed from the White Dress in Corona Del Mar, CA, just steps away from where they got engaged.

[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]

The bride worked with stylist AISLE to create a lookbook of floor-length dresses in shades of green that could be personalized to the bridesmaids’ personal tastes. Some of the favorite brands were from Dessy Group, Lulus, and Reformation. One bridesmaid (the groom’s sister) unfortunately spilled on her dress just a couple hours before the wedding. The day was saved when one of the other gals had an extra ‘Show Me Your Mumu’ dress with her as an emergency back up!

[/field]
[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]

The groom’s black wool tuxedo was from Suitsupply, along with sleek black Ferragamo loafers and custom cufflinks made just for the occasion. His 11 groomsmen were simply asked to “wear a black tux with a white shirt” and they all understood the assignment. Many of them wore their own wedding tuxes, while some bought them off Amazon.

[field title=”Food & Drink”]

The Bel Air Bay Club handled the catering for the evening. We had some fun with the wedding menu – there was a poke station during cocktail hour, amid the tray passed appetizers. Mr & Mrs Creamery contributed a Boba station, as well, which was a very playful surprise for the guests to enjoy. Later in the night, the In-N-Out truck rolled up, WOWing the out of town East-Coasters, whom some, had never had it before!

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Our florals were a statement; bright and colorful at the beginning of January for a breath of fresh air. Joy of Bloom Floralshad us speechless with her creativity and beautiful designs. Stationary and signage, from the giant escort wall to the tiny details like the name cards, were from Beau Paperie.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

Mr & Mrs Creamery designed an elegant, smooth white 2-tier cake, with funfetti inside – as beautiful as it was delicious! The colorful florals added a special touch that really gave it the ‘WOW’ factor and kept everything on theme. They also provided boba tea, push up ice cream desserts, and light up cotton candy for the guests. There was such a fun assortment that was fulfilling for guests when the sweet tooth hit!

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

The ceremony started with the talented violinist Ben Hoyt who played Lana Del Rey’s ‘Young and Beautiful’ as the bride walked down the aisle with both parents by her side. At the end of the night, after all the guests had left, the bride and groom had one private last dance to ‘Colors’ by the Black Pumas, a song special to them because they had seen the band live.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

Always Allegra & Beau Paperie designed an escort wall that brought the East Coast guests a bit more understanding of exactly where they were in California – right on the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). Our bride knew she wanted a disco ball moment, yet we were stirring our brains around how to make that piece fall into place with the overall scape. We came up with a wall with a motorized disco ball hanging from it – an original title we’ve never seen before, and a take-away for all guests to walk away with. The motel keychain had “Party on PCH” engraved on one side, while the guests’ names and table numbers were on the other. The escort wall read “Party on Pacific Coast Highway”

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

While hosting the poke station through the Bel Air Bay Club‘s catering, we added a little twist to the offering. We provided Chinese take-out containers for the poke to be served in which was a quiet nod to Tessa’s culture and background – representing double happiness. Uniting two as one in such a meaningful way!

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]The Groom, the East-Coaster that he is, paid a tribute to the California based fast food joint — In-N-Out; quite the novelty for east coast guests to enjoy. Towards the end of the event, the semi rolling into the event and surprised guests for yet another round of tasty bites. It was quite the way to end such an amazing event![/field]

Classic Newport Wedding That Will Make You Feel Like You’re Floating On Clouds

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

A timeless palette was our goal, says Ashlie from Infinite Events. One that would translate in a way that felt interesting and classic on the wedding day all while accentuating the natural beauty of Ochre Court‘s grounds. We leaned into the green, white and ivory tones with subtle pops of pattern to keep the overall aesthetic feeling fresh and lively.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Ashlie from Infinite Events tells us about Ashton & Tommy’s Design Vibe – Ashton’s style can only be described as the perfect combination of elegance and flair, a balance that we hoped to carry over into her wedding day design. Inspiration was drawn from the magnificent grounds of Ochre Court along with an uncovered painting of a cherub on the mansion ceiling, a detail we truly could not ignore. While her tablescape was curated with intention and charm, it was the panache that set the tone for the evening. A band stage floating on heavenly hydrangea clouds, a curtain of tulips draped behind the head table and a collection of carefully placed cherub statues had her well versed, NYC wedding guests gasping once they settled into their seats.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Tommy proposed to me on a walk through Central Park one day right near the Bethesda Fountain. My parents actually got engaged in the fountain so needless to say, Central Park means a lot to us! Both of our families were there to surprise us and celebrate at the Boat House afterward. My sisters disguised themselves as quintessential old New Yorkers so they could have a front-row viewing.

My first dress was custom-made by Jesus Peiro. I always knew I wanted a sleeve detail, but I did not want it to be a predictable one (for me), so we went with petal cap sleeves. I kept the jewelry simple and borrowed my Mom’s Harry Winston Sunflower diamond earrings. My second dress was also custom by Graham Alden, inspired by the Gilded Age. The corset dress was adorned in two different types of meticulously placed lace, tea length, and finished with two bows on the back.

[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]

My sisters and MOHs got their dresses three (maybe two) weeks before the wedding. Talk about stress. I wanted their dresses to be special and something they felt good in. They went with the Oscar de la Renta hydrangea dresses in two styles. My other bridesmaids went with different textures of sage dresses. The dresses helped set the tone and fit right in the backdrop of hydrangeas.

[/field]
[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]

My husband went classic with a Ralph Lauren Purple Label tux in navy.

[field title=”Food & Drink”]

We leaned into coastal New England and had lots of seafood incorporated throughout the cocktail and reception, like an oyster and shrimp cocktail boat and mini lobster rolls being passed around. My custom drink was a vodka blueberry lemonade, my husband’s was a manhattan and ours together was a dark and stormy, a favorite drink of ours to enjoy in Rhode Island.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Working with Infinite Events and Stoneblossom Floral and Wedding Design on unique designs and florals was a dream. Our absolute favorite detail was the stunning hand-strung tulip curtains draped from the tent. There were also an abundance of florals covering the stage, antique gates dripping with blooms, and cherub statues, another favorite detail.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]We didn’t want the cake to be over the top as we knew we were going to have an intimate cake cutting. We went with Creme Brûlée flavor and a simple design. We also had spiked frappes topped with a powdered donut going around and an espresso bar that we wanted to leave a moment for.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”][/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

Our ceremony took place at the iconic St. Mary’s Newport. My husband’s one request was to release doves after our ceremony, which was a beautiful and unexpected touch we will cherish forever.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

A big part of our inspiration for the wedding revolved around a French painting uncovered on the ceiling of the former ballroom of Ochre Court. The exposed ceiling featured a cherub with wings and a green-blue sky background. Cherubs, traditionally known as symbols of romance and love felt fitting to include throughout our wedding. We leaned into the idea of a “match made in heaven” for some of our unique details, including matchboxes!

The Perfect Mix of Modern and Classic at Montage Palmetto Bluff

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]For this classic spring wedding, we wanted to truly enhance the beauty of Palmetto Bluff. We decided to simple use only a layering of ivory and white florals with touches of green within the artwork and special details.[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The day started at the May River Chapel with lush floral arch that surrounded the window overlooking the river. We definitely wanted florals to be a main statements throughout the celebration and they were lush and overflowing. In order to make those stand out, we had other details settle into the background. Chairs at the ceremony and cocktail hour were acrylic so that you focused on the tree’s overhead, linens and chargers were a beautiful white texture, yet simple so you focused on the florals and beautiful stationary artwork. We wanted the whole day to feel effortlessly balanced yet fully lush and romantic.[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]From the Bride, Taylor :: ” I want to share the real proposal story. You will have to bear with me because it includes great sadness but also great happiness. My parents visited Palmetto Bluff in 2016. They spoke often about how beautiful it was and told me that I should consider it as a wedding venue. Painfully single at the time I laughed at the recommendation. However, it always stuck with me. Fast forward to November 25th 2021. My family and I were a month into grieving the loss of my little brother William. We were embarking on our first holiday, Thanksgiving without him. We booked a house on the marsh in Charleston and settled into the winding coves. Chris and I had been dating for four years and were completely enamored with each other. I was eager to start our life together and may or may not have been sending white dresses to the house as “subtle” hints. We had long planned that during our stay in Charleston we would visit Palmetto Bluff. The highly recommended venue! Traditionally, you would think I had to know a proposal was coming, as we set off to look at a potential wedding venue. However, my mind was filled with so many thoughts, none of them related to an engagement. As we entered the gates of Montage Palmetto Bluff I became overwhelmed it was possibly the most beautiful place I had ever seen. We were getting close to the end of the tour when Chris suggested we walk down a nearby dock. I watched as his eyes filled with tears as he spoke about how special this place was and how special I was to him. He got down on one knee and asked “Will you marry me?” to which I immediately responded “Hell yes!”. That night both of our faces hurt from smiling. That day taught me that two things can exist. You can experience and be so unimaginably sad and also celebrate one of the best days of your life. Thank you for allowing me to share my real proposal story, one filled with grief, sadness, joy, love, euphoria and most importantly family. “[/field]

It is made with House Infused Pineapple-Jalapeno Tequila, Lime Agave Nectar. Following cocktail hour, guests moving into their sailcloth tent and enjoyed a plated dinner with the choice of Aged Beef Ribeye or Blackened Seabass. Our florals from Jardiniere Events were the perfect mix of modern and classic. We had a variety of lush floral arrangements that cascaded down the long center table balanced by super modern sable rose vases perfectly aligned from each direction. Lush peonies, roses, hydrangea and orchids were just a handful of the beautiful blooms we used. Layering a variety of textured helped us to ensure we didn’t get lost in a sea of white.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Taylor and Chris’ wedding cake stood in front of a lush floral wall that we used at the background for a champagne tower toast that greeted guests as they walked into the tent and then later transitioned to a photo op. Their cake was a spectacular six layers with floral cascade that mimicked the cascades on the head table. Guests were served two flavors : Yellow Hawthorne which is a Dark Chocolate Cake, Peanut Butter Mousse,
Peanut Butter Cups, Milk Chocolate Ganache and the Winged Elm made of Valencia Orange Scented Carrot Cake, Cream Cheese Filling, Candied Ginger.

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]”I loved our invitations, custom floor and crest by Champagne Maker. It really helped tie everything together. ” Champagne Maker worked with Taylor on curating an incredible story through paper. The invitation suite perfectly told guests where they were going with envelope liners of the lowcountry marsh, watercolor of the Chapel and accents with greenery and alligators. The crest – perfectly aligning T&C – was used throughout the wedding weekend in various spots to keep everything cohesive. The dance floor – the final statement was a sweetgrass inspired grid to perfect bring everything together.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Following the ceremony, guests showered our couple with petals and love as they left the Chapel. It was such a beautiful and magical moment where everyone was able to surround them as they fully took in the moment. It was truly a beautiful pause to soak in all of the love.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]Final thoughts from Taylor: “The details, venue, food, service and atmosphere were all beyond my wildest dreams. It was everything and more, I am so thankful! For my brides! We are not experts but there are amazing people who are that will help you bring your vision to life and then some. Allison Newton was my event designer and she was my expert! The Grand Hotel Tremezzo Signature Aperol Spritz was the welcome drink for all guests to enjoy the freshness and taste of an Italian summer. The dinner celebration began with a raw beef tartare with crispy spicy bread as an appetizer. A tasty ricotta cheese pasta ring with spinach gratin started the main course, followed by a fillet of beef with porcini mushrooms and parmesan cheese. Finally a fresh sorbet was the prelude to the cake cutting.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Many garden roses were used for the floral setup: Jardinier, White o’Hara, Majolica, Candle Light, Shiraz, Brut, Alabaster, David Austin Keira, Innocentia in caramel. As complementary flowers were used: Scabiosa, Sweet Pea, Delphinium, Anethum. The making of the arch was done using the flowers not in a mixed way but by spots of color, it was to give the effect of moving from one tone to another in a harmonious way as in a rainbow.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The evening ended with a rain shower as the bride and groom popped champagne and cut their wedding cake, a one-tier Chantilly cake with fresh strawberries.
It was a perfect and memorable day for everyone, filled with laughter and love, celebrating the joining of families and the future life of the bride and groom together.[/field]

French Garden Wedding in Provence Filled With The Sweetness Of Summer

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

For their French Garden Wedding in Provence, the couple chose a color palette that featured warm neutral tones of cream, blush and dusty rose accented by gold and caramel hues.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

The inspiration for the overall look and feel of their multi-day wedding celebration came from the natural beauty of the Provence region and the wedding venue itself. The vision for their 3-day fête was to create a once in a lifetime celebration that was ethereal and captivating with old world Provençal charm. Every detail of their “quiet luxury” celebration was curated with the utmost intention!

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

As the couple is based in Georgia, the groom planned the surprise proposal at the famed Swan House in Atlanta. The bride thought she was meeting a friend for a work event so she thought nothing of it! As she entered the rear garden, she heard a Gypsy Jazz band playing the Edith Piaf’s “La Vie en Rose” and saw the groom waiting for her. The rest is history!

[field title=”Food & Drink”]

We created an upscale meets casual French market vibe for their Welcome Dinner. There were several live show cooking stations, a charcuterie grazing table, a dessert buffet and a signature drinks bar. As a fun touch, the wait staff donned aprons with the couple’s monogramed crest! On the day of the wedding, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour where passed canapés and champagne were passed. Oysters on the half shell, sliced foie gras and signature cocktails were also featured. The dinner menu featured a foie gras macaron amuse bouche that sat under a cloche! Guests then enjoyed a first course of sea bream tartare, second course of beef sirloin with truffled potatoes and a dessert course of a chocolate sphere with white chocolate mousse and strawberry. After hours, guests enjoyed open bar spirits, plenty of wine and champagne as well as mini hotdogs, mini burgers, mini pizzas and mini croque monsieurs!

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]For their welcome dinner, small, medium and large potted plants, herbs and fresh lavender were dotted about!

Large blooms of garden roses, lisianthus and clematis were some of the flowers highlighted throughout the wedding day floral design. The ceremony featured ground florals that accented the fountains and the inner aisle which then led to a full asymmetrical floral arch.

At the dinner reception, multi-size floral arrangements and fresh fruit accents adorned each table. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The signature wedding cake was a 4-tiered blush pink cake featuring hand made sugar flowers and featured 2 different flavors: lemon sponge cake with raspberry cream and
vanilla sponge cake with passionfruit cream![/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]The bride, accompanied by her father, walked down the aisle as the string quartet played “La Vie en Rose”.

During the cocktail hour (as well as their welcome dinner the night before), a live gypsy jazz band set the mood!

The couple decided to kick off their dinner reception by having their first dance. As they made their entrance from the top of the château’s stairs, Dean Martin’s “Kick in the Head” played. Once they reached the bottom of the stairs and took center stage, Louie Armstrong’s “C’est Si Bon” played while our bride and groom had their first dance![/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

Welcome gifts were given to each and every guest as a thank you! Each basket featured a bottle of olive oil, a of bottle of rosé and a cork screw from Château d’Estoublon, chocolate bar, lemon cookies, mini sweets as well as a heartfelt thank you note from the couple.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Signature stationery and day of details played a heavy role in the design. Each paper item was custom made and curated to match specific moments of the day! From the save the dates and invitation suite to the ceremony fans with tassels and menus sitting in sheaths with calligraphy.

The seating chart featured 3 large gold bordered frames with dusty rose venetian plaster texture. Each oval name card featured hand written calligraphy with a small gold foil pressed butterfly that was adorned to the board with a thin silk ribbon. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]The bride’s engagement ring was custom made with intention and love! As “La Vie en Rose” holds special meaning for her and the groom, this phrase is engraved in the bride’s ring.[/field]

Modern Nature Inspired Wedding in Breathtaking Banff

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The wedding colors were white, cream, green, pops of dark teal with gold and wood accents.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Inspired by the majestic beauty of Banff National Park, with its sweeping grey mountains, crystalline blue glacier lakes, and dense forests, this wedding exuded a modern yet timeless charm. The ceremony, framed by classic mountain vistas, featured rustic wood accents, evoking the rugged elegance of the wilderness. Transitioning to the reception, guests were welcomed into a fresh and contemporary atmosphere, while retaining the natural allure of the surroundings. Small rustic details, such as wood textures and verdant greenery, harmoniously blended with the modern aesthetic, creating an enchanting celebration amidst nature’s splendor.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]We got engaged on Christmas Eve of 2021. Lauren had been working all day, so when she came home we decided to have a chill movie night in christmas PJs with our roommate. Before we did, I told Lauren she had to look in the tree for a surprise as I played “Invisible String” by Taylor Swift — a favorite song of ours and one that feels extremely personal to us being we grew up just minutes from each other but barely knew of each other. After several “OH MY GOD”s, I think she squeaked out a yes! [/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]Finding two wedding dresses that are unique to each bride and compliment each other was scary, but turned out to be much easier than we thought! I (Theresa) was convinced I wanted a suit, but went shopping for dresses for fun and to confirm that I did. Jokes on me, because right when I tried on the dress I ultimately chose, it was game over. My dress was simple and elegant, which gave Lauren (who went shopping second), free rein to get any dress she wanted. [/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]

We had an amazing lineup of food and drink courtesy of The Bison. We each chose a signature cocktail (a classic French 75 and a delicious Moscow Mule). It was also important to us to have as many non-alcoholic drink options as possible, which the Bison provided via mocktails and non-alcoholic champagne! They made it amazingly easy to make sure all of our guests felt well accounted for,

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Theresa and Lauren wanted the ceremony to have a bit more of a rustic feel with the furniture almost blending into the background of the forest and mountain views. We opted for wood benches for the guests and a grand wood arch to center the brides complete with beautiful floral swags of white hydrangea, white roses, and a pop of bunny tails with trails of smilax vines. As guests moved into the reception space at The Bison they wanted the aesthetic to feel just a bit more modern. Guests arrived to the venue and were passed prosecco or non alcoholic bubbles before making their way to the patio. Accents of gold were found in the signage, the flatware and the mercury votives. The tables were full of white blooms like panda anemones, dahlias and roses. Pops of green were found in the goblet and pops of a teal blue in the napkins, the signage and the stationery. The brides each had their own bouquet design, Theresa’s with panda anemones and a bit more greenery for a rustic touch and Lauren’s with heavier white blooms and a more traditional rounded shape. Their maid of honour’s carried smaller bouquets that matched each bride.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

The wedding cake was made by Bake My Day and was a small single tier cutting cake with the backdrop of their wedding ceremony (Tunnel Mountain) designed into the buttercream.

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]There were so many special parts of our ceremony. Our sister in law, one of our favorite people in the world, was our officiant and did an amazing job telling our love story. A truly unforgettable moment was when Lauren’s dad sang “This I Promise You” for us. He is a reserved man who does not always express himself in words, but through this song we could feel how much love he (and the rest of our parents) had for us. To this day we both tear up when thinking about that moment and all the love we felt.

Seriously Chic Springtime Wedding In The Virginia Countryside

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The wedding colors were blush, sage, and neutrals.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Brigid and Brady’s dream was to get married at a winery in Charlottesville, the town where they first met. They loved the views of King Family Vineyard, and wanted a neutral color palette to enhance all the beauty of the venue instead of compete with it. They also leaned heavily into florals and pastel accent colors to celebrate Spring in the Virginia countryside. For their reception, they wanted a Bridgerton vibe — light bright garden-like florals, gold accents.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

With the help of some of our closest friends, Brady convinced Brigid that they were attending a photography session with friends who had extra time with their wedding photographer. Little did she know that Brady arranged the whole thing with a proposal in mind! After some very convincing group shots, Taylor Swift started playing and Brigid looked up to see Brady on one knee!

Luxury Garden-Inspired Wedding Transports ‘Down Under’ Magic to Washington, DC

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The wedding colors were white, green, cream, and taupe.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

For Camilla and Ben’s wedding design, we leaned into a quiet luxury aesthetic and took cues from the beautiful Anderson House garden in the Spring. We wanted to create an elevated, yet laid back garden party in neutral tones that felt cohesive and organic with the setting while still having a memorable wow factor.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Camilla and Ben first met while living in DC in October 2020 on Hinge. They started messaging about their shared interest of skiing, leading Ben to ask Camilla on a first date to join him and his friends on their annual Halloween wine tour. Camilla agreed, but only after meeting him for a quick Friday drink to make sure he was somewhat normal before agreeing to spending a full day with him and his friends. Ben decided to dress up as Tony Soprano, and Camilla headed to Target to find a Carmela Soprano worthy outfit. Needless to say, the Halloween wine tour date was a success! In December 2020, they went on their first trip together to Ben’s parent’s beach condo for a cozy weekend getaway. Ben proposed at the same beach house in June 2022.

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]Food and drink was a top priority for the wedding. Guests were greeted with Peach-Lavender agua fresca as they arrived to the al fresco garden ceremony. During cocktail hour, Camilla and Ben served two of their favorite cocktails as signature drinks – a Jalapeno Margarita and French 75. Guests enjoyed a delicious selection of passed hors d’oeuvres, including lamb and mint pesto lollipops, lobster noisettes, miniature crab cakes and hawaiian tuna poke.

Dinner service began with a beautifully composed red endive salad with pickled plums, camembert and honeycomb brittle, followed by a pre-selected entree choice of beef tenderloin and pan-seared branzino.
[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The florals were designed to be chic, elegant and garden-esque in a palette of whites, sand, dusty rose and lush greens. For the ceremony, large urn arrangements were placed on existing columns in the Anderson House garden, designed asymmetrically for a more organic look. Camilla held a simply chic, rounded rose bouquet while Ben wore a classically minimal single ranunculus with hellebore accent to complete their looks. For dinner in Anderson House’s garden, long dining tables surrounded the reflecting pool draped in blush and taupe floral patterned linens and cane backed chairs. Each table featured lush floral garden centerpieces, illuminated by sandstone taper candles, pillar candles and votives for a romantic glow as the sun set into the evening. Each corner of the reflecting pool was flanked with a statement urn arrangement atop a venetian plaster pedestal to add a wow factor to the setting.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, Camilla and Ben opted to serve a plated chocolate hazelnut crisp cake with blackberries for dessert. [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]For Camilla, who was born and raised in Australia and came to the US for grad school and her post-graduate career, it was a priority to create a memorable experience with her family and friends who were traveling in from across the globe along with having Ben’s loved ones all together in the same place for the first time. We brought a bit of the Land Down Under to their wedding with through their seating chart and table names, which featured illustrations of Aussie animals to lead guests to their seats (each dinner table was named after an animal instead of a table number). “Smile and Have a Vegemite Sandwich” – a lyric from the famous 80’s song by Men at Work finished the look, which ended up being a hit with guests from both Australia and the US.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]The invitations were designed to be cohesive with the wedding colors in a palette of green, white, cream and taupe. A floral patterned envelope liner and ivory silk ribbon added a romantic touch to the classic design. The floral pattern was brought in again on their seating chart wall. [/field]

Sleeves For a Summer Wedding – Can it be Done?

If you’ve been dreaming of your wedding since you were a little girl, you’ve probably got the main parts of the vision worked out–the flowers, the venue, the gown. What most of us don’t really think of is the time of year. So, if you’ve always imagined yourself walking down the aisle in a gown with sleeves but you just booked your summer wedding, panic may be setting in. Can you wear sleeves for a summer wedding, or will it simply be too hot? We’ve got great news–it can be done and we’ll show you how!

PHOTOGRAPHY | Charla Storey Photography

GOWN | Marchesa

The main concern when it comes to wearing sleeves for a summer wedding is the heat, so let’s start there. You are going to be hot at some point on your wedding day, whether you get married in the winter or the summer. The average wedding is way longer than a Zumba class and you’ll be dancing your heart out wearing far more than your usual athleisure–so yes, you are totally going to sweat (sleeves or not) and that’s ok! That’s how you know you had a great time! You will sweat more in the summer than you will in the winter (depending on what they have the heat set to in your venue), so let’s talk about what you can do to minimize the sweat or at least make sure it doesn’t show.

GOWN + PHOTOGRAPHY | Inbar Freiman

1. The Looser the Better

Think loose–the less the sleeve is touching you, the better. Flutter sleeves are a great option for a summer wedding. Not only do they hover away from the arm preventing visible sweat stains, but they flow and allow for a breeze here and there (which you’ll definitely be thankful for on a hot summer day!).

2. Off-the-Shoulder Sleeves

Summer brides wanting sleeves and comfort are in luck this season because we are seeing more and more of these fabulous off-the-shoulder sleeves. They are great because they keep your neckline open and cool while covering the lower part of your arm that doesn’t overheat.

GOWN |Galia Lahav

3. Short-Sleeves

If you have your heart set on fitted sleeves but are worried about getting too hot, consider shorter sleeves like these cap sleeves. They still give you the coverage and elegance of a sleeve without you getting overheated.

4. Go BOHO

If you’re shopping for a summer gown with sleeves, consider taking a more boho route with your wedding ensemble. Boho-style designs tend to be more light and airy in general and often have flowy statement sleeves.

GOWN | Lee Grebenau

5. Think Asymmetrical

If you are on the fence about sleeves vs sleeveless, why not have both? Consider a gown with an asymmetrical neckline where one side is sleeveless and the other sleeved. The asymmetrical flutter sleeve on this gown adds just the right amount of coverage without adding to the warmth of the gown.

GOWN | Carol Hannah

6. Lace Sleeves

Lace is a great fabric for summer sleeves. It has holes that let air pass through it and it also has a texture that distracts from any potential sweat marks.

PHOTOGRAPHY | Koman Photography

GOWN | Galia Lahav

7. Fine Fabrics

Opt for a sleeve made from a fine fabric–like a tulle or English net. These fabrics are so sheer, they’re mostly air! What could be better for a summer wedding? Stay away from fabrics like satin and crepe as these will most definitely show sweat stains (eek!).

PHOTOGRAPHY | Esther Sun Photography

GOWN | Galia Lahav

8. Illusion Sleeves

If you want your sleeve to be more subtle consider a gown with an illusion neckline that carries into the sleeves. It gives the appearance that you’re wearing nothing on your arms and it feels pretty close to it!

Tranquility and Elegance by the Sea at Bel Air Bay Club

[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

Our wedding colors were champagne, white, and green with hints of gold.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]For our wedding vision, we aimed for a timeless, elegant, and classic look, incorporating traditions from our families. The ocean was chosen as the setting to provide a sense of peace and tranquility. The overall vibe was one of grace, sophistication, and a deep respect for heritage and natural beauty which was captured by Mallory Dawn Photography and her amazing team. Our wedding planner, Bree Hueners from I Love You More Events, and her exceptional team were instrumental in bringing our vision to life. With attention to detail and a deep understanding of our vision, they ensured that every aspect of our special day ran seamlessly, just as we had envisioned. Their expertise and dedication made our wedding day truly unforgettable.[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Our engagement story is truly romantic and beautifully demonstrates our love and respect for our traditions and families. Max’s gesture of asking my family for my hand in marriage before our trip to Hawaii shows his commitment to honoring tradition. When Max received the approval from my family, he began to plan the beautiful proposal that took me completely by surprise. The proposal itself, on the Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse Trail in Hawaii, with its stunning ocean view, was a perfect blend of romance and nature’s beauty. It’s clear that the ocean holds a special place in our hearts, making it a meaningful backdrop for the engagement and little did we know at the time an inspiration when picking our wedding venue.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]The gown was purchased at the Casablanca Bridal Flagship store in Newport Beach, CA, as a heartfelt gift from my grandmother. It perfectly embodied the timeless and romantic feel that I envisioned for my wedding day. When I tried on the gown, I immediately fell in love with it. With the assistance of the bridal gown consultants at the store, I was able to customize the top of the dress, creating an off-the-shoulder look, and adding a cathedral veil that, in my opinion, elevated the timeless elegance to a whole new level.[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]My bridesmaids represented many important parts of my life, including family, childhood best friends, college and travel companions, and even my soon to be sister-in-law. Although each of these women held a special place in my heart, they all dispersed across the country as we grew older, making it impractical to all gather at the same time. Understanding this, I wanted each bridesmaid to feel comfortable and express their individual personalities through their dresses. I encouraged them all to choose dresses that reflected their unique styles, while ensuring they all adhered to the primary wedding color of champagne.[/field]
[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]The groomsmen were some of Max’s closest friends, his brother-in-law, and his soon-to-be brother-in-law. Opting for a classic look, Max chose a tuxedo for himself. However, he also wanted his groomsmen to wear something similar yet distinctive enough to make him stand out as the groom. With the assistance of Friar Tux in Brea, CA, they were able to make a selection that achieved this desired effect.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]The Bel-Air Bay Club’s culinary offerings featured contemporary cuisine with unique flavors. After careful consideration, we settled on a menu that included chicken, fish, and a vegetarian option to cater to all of our guests’ preferences. We also ensured there was an open bar with signature drinks: the spicy margarita for myself and a whiskey sour for Max, adding a personal touch to the celebration.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The stunning floral arrangements were expertly crafted by Laura Kunoth of Bluebell Floral. Laura created timeless and elegant garden-style bouquets and arrangements using crisp white, ivory, and champagne florals with lush greenery. I requested a bridal bouquet that appeared naturally gathered and organic, while the bridesmaids’ bouquets were petite versions of the bouquet and wrapped in beautiful silk ribbons. The boutonnieres featured a mix of white blooms and olive greenery.

One of the highlights was the beautiful meadow Laura created, designed to allow the beautiful ocean to be seen in the background, as it was our reason for choosing the venue. Adding a personal touch, Laura incorporated papel picado, a traditional Mexican decorative craft, which was very special to me and brought a touch of my desired cultural tradition to the wedding.

Additionally, there was a stunning welcome arrangement made of olive greenery, featuring a puzzle piece photograph of Max and I created by Max’s mother, Agnes. The room was further enhanced with candles, a personal note from us, the couple, on every guest’s plate with an olive sprig, and more beautiful floral arrangements, creating a truly magical, intimate, and romantic atmosphere.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was made and ordered from Porto’s Bakery in Glendale, CA. After sampling a variety of cakes from Porto’s Bakery, we ultimately went with the cuban cake featuring pineapple and vanilla custard. We ordered a three tiered white spatulated cake to which Laura from Bluebell Florals added her artistic touch by adorning the cake with beautiful flowers, enhancing its natural beauty.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Jared Haren, Max’s brother-in-law, officiated the wedding alongside Deacon Tony, creating a heartfelt and meaningful ceremony. Jared eloquently honored the couple, weaving their individual stories into a beautiful narrative of love that set the tone for the entire event. Deacon Tony brought a sense of tradition to the ceremony by offering blessings for the couple, their marriage, and the rings, adding a sacred and profound element to the occasion. Max and I composed heartfelt vows, expressing our deep love and admiration for each other. We shared cherished memories and highlighted our favorite qualities, making our promises meaningful and personal.

The bridal party entered to “Lover” by Taylor Swift, chosen by me, Jenn and I walked down the aisle to “Anyone” by Tommee Proffit and Fleurie, chosen by Max. These songs were selected for their meaningful lyrics.

As a symbol of celebration, love and joy, we chose “Hailey” by Justin Bieber as our recessional song. The first dance was to “Lifetime” by Justin Bieber, a song that focused on the idea of a love and partnership lasting a lifetime.

Continuing with tradition, I danced with my father to “Tu Sangre En Mi Cuerpo,” sung by Angela and Pepe Aguilar, a father-daughter duo. This song held special meaning for me, as I share a close bond with my father, who worked hard to manage and overcome his left-side weakness after having a stroke so he could dance with me on my special day. This moment added even more depth to the song’s significance for me, and I will forever cherish the memory. Max and his mother shared a dance to “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion, a song that held nostalgic value for them both. It reminded them of Max’s childhood, when he would sing along with his mom in the car. These dances were truly heartfelt and will forever hold a special place in our hearts, symbolizing the love and bonds within our families.

Finally, DJ Michael from High Profile Entertainment ensured a lively reception by playing a variety of music genres. He expertly blended Latin vibes, nostalgic throwbacks, and classic hits, all while incorporating some of our favorite songs.[/field]

Guests Dine Beneath Oak Trees At This SoCal Dinner Party Wedding

It was an all-white wedding.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Devoted to the origins of their love story, Katherine and Alex invited their closest family and friends to Simi Valley for a captivating outdoor dinner party. Held at Quail Ranch, an upscale California wedding venue with expansive plantlife, the grounds flourished with avocado and citrus orchards.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Katherine and Alex spent the summer of 2019 together in Chicago. By August, they made their relationship official. One of their first trips together was to southern California over Labor Day weekend. During this trip, they enjoyed the SoCal sunshine and discovered their mutual love of travel. It was only fitting that, two-and-a-half years later, Alex proposed on their favorite beach in Malibu.

The couple exchanged vows beneath an ivory floral archway tucked beneath the edge of a citrus orchard. Beneath towering pines and oak trees, a romantic and relaxed reception awaited guests. Spherical chandeliers hung from the boughs overhead as they cast their glow. Ample ivory arrangements elevated the open space with a floral archway over the couple’s head table. In a moment of Simi Valley’s golden hour, the couple posed in a fluffy nest of hillside grasses with a backdrop of fuschia-colored bougainvillea. A Sweet And Serene Vermont Wedding At Edson Hill

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The wedding colors were white, dusty blue, and green.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

With a focus on heartfelt moments, Kaleigh and Tim’s wedding day encompassed the beauty of Vermont with graceful outdoor spaces and a serene state of mind. The celebration was hosted at Edson Hill. The property’s thirty acres of forest provided a peaceful landscape of trees alongside charming manor guest houses. “My one wish for our wedding was to create small moments within the big event. We are lucky to have large families, but we also knew that would increase our guest count, and I was worried about getting lost in the ‘big wedding.’ We started the weekend by having a small catholic ceremony with just our families — followed by a family dinner. We had our rehearsal dinner, a welcome party, a morning walk with the bride, the reception, and brunch. These smaller moments truly allowed Tim and I to have meaningful conversations with our guests who traveled to Vermont to celebrate with us.”

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

Kaleigh and Tim first met at “Country Thursday” night at a tavern in Boston. They set up a date two weeks later and haven’t looked back since. Throughout their eight years of dating, they’ve finished graduate school as well as weathered the pandemic together, supporting each other through it all. In 2022, they went for a walk through the seaport in Boston. Routinely, the couple would walk to brunch or a SoulCycle class, but on this day, Tim proposed! He surprised Kaleigh that day with a gathering of their closest family and friends to celebrate their engagement.

Kaleigh wore a custom wedding gown by Allison Webb that combined classic floral jacquard fabric with a timeless fitted silhouette. The bow on the back added drama as the tails extended out beyond the train. “We worked with Flair in Boston and had a great experience. I loved that we were able to customize the dress from the top to the pattern to the bow. I wanted a dress that fit me and the setting of a tented wedding in Vermont. It was just perfect, and I loved dancing the night away in the dress.”

The couple held an intimate church ceremony with an aisle lined in blue and white larkspur fanned out to each side. A dreamlike outdoor reception was draped in ivory fabrics from the tent. These fabrics also created elegant “doorways” along the open sides of the space for a luxurious dining experience. Aptly labeled “The people and places that shaped us,” their escort card display was created from a flower box wall. Floral arrangements, set in polished glass vases, made their way across a memorial wall display, and danced along the bar. White fringed chandeliers and greenery hung above the tables, which were set with light blue patterned tablecloths. Outdoor lounge spaces were set near the pines for guests to enjoy.

A Tented Summer Wedding at an Apple Orchard Out East

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Green, white, dusty pinks[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]From the planner: “Sarah & Ross’s wedding was inspired by the natural setting of their celebrations at Breeze Hill Farm, an apple orchard located along the North Fork of Long Island. The destination holds a special place for these newlyweds, as Sarah’s family has a house on the North Fork and she has been visiting the area ever since she was a little girl, so it became a regular destination for the couple throughout their relationship. With that in mind, the two incorporated an illustrated map of the locale on their Save the Dates, created by Paper with Benefits, so their guests could also get to know and love the area.

Leaning into the leaves that adorned the hundreds (if not thousands) of apple trees lining the property, Tracy Taylor Ward designed the couple’s festivities to enhance the natural beauty of the surrounding orchard, from utilizing leaf motifs through every decor element, including the tableware, linens, candelabras, dance floor and even suspended orbs, to incorporating the actual fruit from the property in each table’s design.

As a subtle nod to Sarah and Ross’s love for animals, dogs in particular, Tracy Taylor Ward included two dog statues in the tent’s entryway décor, along with gold dog candle-holders, adding simple yet elegant personal touches to their wedding celebrations.”
[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Sarah had begun feeling pressure to be engaged around Valentines Day of 2021. She was hearing from friends and family that it was time to get things moving! One night after dinner, Sarah began asking Ross if they were ever going to get engaged. Ross took it like a champ – knowing he had already purchased a ring and was planning on proposing in a few weeks. Ross then left for a business trip in CA — when he came back on Friday, he had rose petals all over their apartment and a bottle of champagne, with the ring box sitting in the bucket! Sarah was totally surprised and immediately apologized and the rest is history![/field]

Cozy and Minimal Style at Stanly Ranch in Napa

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]white, neutrals, pops of orange, yellow, and pink[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Our wedding vibe? Picture this: Napa Valley, all romantic vibes and vineyards—seriously, who can resist wine country? With Danielle and Carly on board, we were all about keeping it cozy and minimal. We wanted the day to flow smoothly, especially since we planned to separate dinner from the party. Dinner had to be all about intimacy and romance…so, think candlelit tables, lush dahlias (my absolute favorite), and just the right amount of decor. Then, bam! The barn transformed into this disco wonderland for the party. Picture disco balls, funky lighting, and non-stop dancing. The transition from dinner to dancing was spot on. It was like stepping into a whole new world, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]We really didn’t have a typical “proposal” story…I was living in Qatar at the time, he was in LA. I went on a solo/soul searching trip to the US and met him at a friend’s BBQ in LA, I wasn’t in the right headspace to meet someone but he was very persistent in taking me to dinner before leaving the US and I thought why not. Even then, I didn’t make anything of it because there’s an 11 hour time difference between us and we lived very different lives. But he took me by surprise and put in all the effort to make the distance work, we met over the summer (2 months after meeting) and he decided to fly to Qatar for the first time to meet my parents and experience my way of living. Fast forward another 4 months he flew BACK to Qatar to take my father out to dinner and ask him for my hand in marriage.. I had slowly talked my parents into wanting to quit my job and move to the US. My father was on board, he loved Mustafa but my mother on the other hand (for the right reasons) didn’t take it well. Our culture doesn’t allow us to leave our parents’ house until our wedding day. Having only met Mustafa twice, it definitely felt concerning to her…so here I am quitting my job, moving across the world to start a completely new life with someone I met 6 months ago without being formally engaged or married. It was very bold of me to make the move but it felt so right. I also couldn’t live with him unless we were religiously married so a week into landing in LA, we decided to get married on zoom with a sheikh, my parents (from Qatar) and his parents (in Washington DC) all dialed in and that is how we got married (under the condition that we would have a proper wedding celebration with family and friends in the future).
We moved to Vegas and once we settled we started planning our wedding celebration and the rest is history.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]I had my wedding gown custom made in Lebanon with a designer called Esposa. The crazy part about all this was that I couldn’t leave the US (waiting on my green card) so the entirety of the process was done on zoom calls and whatsapp messages. They shipped my wedding dress to me 1 month before wedding day and that was my first fitting! Luckily, it was perfect and I only had to do a few size adjustments in Vegas.
In terms of design, I knew I wanted something original and different where I was able to disassemble parts of the dress and make it seem like I was wearing a completely new dress. So we decided on adding a cape (which was the statement piece along with a super dramatic and long veil) over my actual dress (which was very simple & classy) for my entrance with my father. Once dinner was over and we were ready to party I took the veil and cape off and put my hair down for a completely laid back and simple look. Most importantly, I was able to move around and dance comfortably.[/field]

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]Oh boy. Aside from Stanly Ranch’s breathtaking property, I would say their food was what really drew us towards them. There’s something about a ‘farm to table’ experience that makes it that much more special and intimate. I would urge whoever is reading this to make a trip down to Stanly Ranch and have breakfast/lunch or dinner at Bear (their restaurant). It was definitely the #1 feedback we got from all our guests.
We opted for a family-style dinner, and witnessing everyone passing around the food, bonding over it, and sharing that experience together filled us with such joy and made the moment truly special. The food was IMPECCABLE; fresh, wholesome, delicious and filling. And of course, being in wine country and pairing the foods with delicious wines was the cherry on top. The entire experience was so special and romantic. Just picture 2 long candlelit tables with 100 of your close family & friends on a terrace during sunset![/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]With the venue being so neutral and ranch chic we wanted to bring the fun and playful energy of the couple with the decor. We went with all dahlias in shades of orange, pink, and yellow. We lined the walkway where Yara would make her grand entrance with her father. It was important that this moment had an extra wow factor since there wasn’t a traditional ceremony. Then we cultivated an intimate dining experience with two long tables lined with candles and more of the colorful dahlias. The dance party was super important to the couple and they really wanted there to be a vibe change as guests entered the ballroom. There were disco balls hanging from the ceiling as well as little disco ball trinkets sprinkled thorughout the space. We brought in fun lighting and really set the mood for the late night party. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Stanly Ranch has an amazing in-house pastry team and they designed the most delicious cake. We had it on a table with wheels so it could be brought out easily from being on to display to being cut in front of guests! [/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]It definitely wasn’t your typical ceremony. We didn’t have an actual ceremony that was religious/symoblic etc. Because we had already been married and living together for almost a year already it didn’t feel right to have a ceremony. Moreover, ceremonies in our culture typically entails a bridal entrance with the father to the actual dinner/party venue.
I knew I wanted an intimate experience with my father so we decided on a long walk towards the cocktail space where all our guests were/Mustafa was waiting to take over. I would say my walk with my father was definitely the most special, the song we chose was an Arabic song of a father/daughter duo that definitely pulled on my heart strings!
Another favorite would be the fact that it transitioned into an upbeat song after I walked towards Mustafa and we had all our guests gather around us to dance/cheer. It definitely set the tone for the rest of the night. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]The property – I haven’t come across a place quite like Stanly Ranch. We really didn’t have to do much in terms of decor because the space itself was breathtaking and I loved the fact that we had 3 days worth of celebrations in different parts of the property, they were so different from one another. Particularly our wedding day where we separated dinner (on the terrace) from the party (inside the barn).[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]Having all my close friends and family from the Middle East fly across the world to Napa (a first for the majority of our guests) to celebrate Mustafa & I. I would say they were the heart & soul of our wedding.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]The absolute best planners who made my wedding day so seamless, stress-free and smooth. All the months spent on zoom calls planning this day were executed to a T. I couldn’t tell you a single aspect of it that went wrong. From timelines to decor and setting the mood/ambience to the florals and most importantly the FLOW. They really nailed it and our guests still speak of how smooth the transitions were.[/field]

A Sophisticated Wedding in Tuscany at Castello Di Celsa

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Claire and Jack’s sophisticated elegance is reflected in every aspect of their wedding. Using a palette of delicate tones, antique pink, white, peach and a touch of green, they built the story of a unique day immersed in all the charm of this ancient residence, amidst the rolling hills and sun-kissed vineyards of Tuscany. [/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]
The overall aesthetic vision was closely connected to the magical and elegant atmosphere of the castle; the couple wanted to give their families and guests a romantic and dreamlike experience in a sophisticated setting, with particular attention to detail and Italian food.[/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Special attention was given to selecting a menu that reflected Tuscan tradition with a touch of modernity. For the first courses, the couple chose ricotta and lemon ravioli, with asparagus cream and candied lemon zest and a typical tuscan pasta “mezzipaccheri” with duck ragu, sage raspberries. While the main course consisted of meat, a fillet of beef, Chianti classico jus and sage roast potatoes.
To accompany the dishes, they chose a selection of Italian white and red wines.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]The floral decorations in shades of white, pink, peach with a touch of light green reflected the overall palette of the event, imparting a sense of understated elegance in harmony with the prestigious estate. The bouquet of roses and white flowers, with olive branches and eucalyptus, was a perfect accessory for Claire’s ethereal beauty. The ceremony took place in the castle’s Italian gardens, beneath a round rose arch adorned with blooms. As for the reception, the newlyweds and their guests made their way to the castle courtyard, where tables adorned with flickering candles and fragrant flowers awaited them. The round tables were adorned with tall floral centerpieces, featuring cascading roses, white blooms and greenery.
The imperial table for the newlyweds was adorned with crystal centerpieces, white flowers, roses, and greenery. The overall view was completed with a golden touch provided by the Chiavari chairs as seating.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake, assembled on-site by the catering pastry chef, was a millefeuille with chantilly cream, almond brittle and wild raspberries.[/field]
