This summer elopement-inspired shoot was designed by Carrie from Stem Floral Studio and Jenny Haas Photography. It was an elegant way to capture the beauty of the season.

Inspired by the warmer days of summer we chose sage greens and hues of deep purples and pinks to create a romantic atmosphere. Including a soft pink Monique Lhullier gown with ruffled sleeves from La Jeune Mariee complimented by a loose-up do.

We imagined a lush garden vibe, with a patio that overlooks a beautiful valley. The result is something that can inspire brides for an event filled with beauty and love.

Mamma Mia, This Mykonos Destination Wedding Is Satisfying Our European Summer Craving!

Hot pink and bright orange blooms by Petridis Floral Creations, a fashion forward tea-length gown, and the enchanting isle of Mykonos – these are just a few elements you can expect to see from todays gorgeous wedding planned by Nymfee! To say we’re obsessed is the understatement of the century. Get ready for instant dose of joy and vitamin D at the full gallery, captured to perfection by Anna Roussos!

Anna Roussos… Moving, visually striking, and full of love, Alexia and Sebastian’s vibrant Mykonos wedding highlighted the merging of two cultures. This handsome couple had subtle nods to their heritages, with the groom in neutral Greek tones and the bride displaying a brightly colored flower headpiece and layered ruffled wedding dress in honor of her Brazilian roots. Only their closest friends and family were present for the traditional Orthodox ceremony, followed by a stylish al-fresco outdoor dinner in the heat of a Greek summer night. Happy, colorful, and spirited, this was a Greece wedding occasion capable of brightening any mood.

From the wedding planner, Nymfee… Ask any wedding planner, what was the wedding trend in 2020, and they will all say: organizing the perfect wedding with the minimum number of guests, during an unprecedented pandemic, while still having fun (along with any fortune-telling abilities to predict the next COVID-19 prevention restrictions). And thus the micro-wedding or minimony became the norm. While appearing easier, the end-game was the same: the couple had to remember their W-Day as the best day of their lives. At Nymfee, when we started planning Sebastian’s and Alexia’s wedding, we were going big: 450 guests traveling to Mykonos from 5 continents, a huge beach party in one of the most prestigious venues on the island, and so on. Of course, we had contingency plans, but no one prepared us for the unexpected: a pandemic.

We decided we had to be creative and find inspiration in our roots. After all, why do people want to tie the knot? Because they love each other and they want to share their joy with their nearest and dearest. This feeling of intimacy was our guide in planning a meaningful ceremony against all odds. We merged Alexia’s (the bride) admiration for Frida Kahlo and her emblematic, colorful art, with Cycladic elements and aesthetics. Apart from the visual elements of the wedding, what we actually did was merging four cultures: Sebastian’s Greek-Polish heritage with Alexia’s Lebanese-Brazilian roots. We made sure the couple’s personality was present in all details. Alexia opted for peach, orange & pink flowers combined with Latin-style vases and details, escaping the traditional white or earth tones that the island is usually known for. Her headpiece was a chic new-era representation of a flaming woman, full of love and passion. Since the celebration was considerably smaller than originally planned, we wanted to make an impact with an intimate setup for dinner, creating a layout where the guests would circle the couple with love throughout the event. We also thought deeply about how to set it up in such a way that guests will enjoy their own space, respecting social distancing norms. The result was an idyllic, fairy-tale wedding with the couple’s closest friends and relatives (coming all the way from 4 different countries). As the old adage goes: “Love always finds a way”!

Dusty Blue & Mauve Old World-Inspired Editorial at The Maxwell House

If you’re looking for inspiration that satisfies all your old world romance cravings, while remaining timeless in style for years to come… look no further – Alicia C Creative has got you covered. Today’s editorial at The Maxwell House was dressed in a muted color palette of soft blushes, mauve and cream colored hues. Prepare to be enchanted by Sweet & Lovely Co’s ethereal arrangements teeming with brownie tulips, sweet peas and ranunculus. Are you dying to see the full gallery yet? With Lorin Kelly Photography behind the lens, you know it’s going to be good.

From Lorin Kelly Photography… This is an elegant and timeless affair with a whimsical fairytale touch for the ages. Incorporating a palette of ethereal muted tones, vintage contemporary pieces from Fancy Tables and an old 1955 Porsche Speedster. This editorial is perfect for all seasons to bring in both classic vintage and modern day romance to any wedding.

To add to the whimsical but modern ambiance we went with a Liz Martinez gown from EnBlanc LA, that offered a drape of fabric over the one shoulder, corset style bodice and flowing tulle.

The florals were chosen in muted tones of soft blushes, mauve and cream. Brownie Tulips, Sweet Peas and ranunculus being a few.

The invitations tied in the old world feel with handmade paper, gold deckled edges, dreamy venue illustration and whimsical bespoke calligraphy by Papermint Press.

From Alicia C Creative: For the tablescape we wanted an elegant mix of vintage and modern. We accomplished this by using crystal glassware, gold rimmed etched crystal charger and salad plate with a dusty blue/gray modern dinner plate. By combining tones that are not typically seen paired , we were able to pull together timeless elegance for the hopeless romantic.

Our Favorite Real-Life Wedding Touches That Happened in Gold and How to Get the Look in Our Shop

Once you decide on your wedding date and you’ve picked a place to host your nuptials, the inevitable next part in the process – and probably one of the most exciting – is to pick a color palette. If you’ve spent some time on the Style Me Pretty site, you know that one of the filters we love to organize real wedding content is by ‘color’, and while we have celebrations that run the gamut from gray and green to teal and turquoise, gold might be our most popular pick. It has nothing to do with the shade being ‘overdone’ either; rather, it speaks more to its global versatility. Gold can fit in with any fete, whether you want it to be an ethereal and whimsy garden party, an opulent and dashingly-dressed black-tie affair, or a tastefully-done tented time outdoors – and you can see examples of ALL of them right here

When we started thinking about the items that we’d curate for our Style Me Pretty Shop, we knew we’d embrace our signature blush and gold color cues, because they’re so pretty, but also because we were so excited to see what our couples could weave into their unique days. Many of our products are decked in gold to draw attention to important areas of the wedding (like your bars, your sweetheart table, your escort card/guest book table, etc.), others are simple accessories or tablescape touches that infuse a sense of romance into your styling with delicate gold accenting, and then there are some installations and metallic signage that provide a beautiful canvas for other details to shine (like our gold chandeliers cascading with florals or our metal motifs fixed with 3D blooms).

We have so much more pretty on the horizon for our Shop, and we can’t wait to share new additions soon! But for now, we’re looking back on some of our favorite gold moments (and ones that we could even see with a dose of gold) from the Style Me Pretty archives and sharing similar looks that you can shop right now!

Don’t just let the gold foil champagne wrappers talk for themselves, let metallics be the magnet to draw all your guests to the bar(s)! We love prettying up a simple bar setup with garlands, candles, some whimsical signage that says so much more.

Photo by XO & Fetti Photography

Remember when we said that gold goes with any kind of vibe? Well, we weren’t lying!! Classic, clean+modern, rustic, romantic, gold can do it all for your guest tables.

Your sweetheart table, too, can get a nice dose of gilded glam with metallic Mr. & Mrs. napkin rings that feel ultra royal. And when you’re after something like 👇 you can get the look with our own Mr. & Mrs. gold-toned chair signs. They’re one of those ‘little things’ that can make a major difference when you’re looking back at your day!

And if gold is what you’re going for, you’ll need to toast with gold-etched glasses all day long. Coupes and a cute couple = the perfect match.

Did we convince you that this color is, simply put, a gold standard? Hope so! Shop all of these items exclusively on Style Me Pretty!

From Angel Cheung PhotographyThis is such a special wedding to my heart, one that I have been dreaming about for a long time. It’s an absolute honor and privilege to capture the moments for Nicole and Anna, who are the most beautiful women I have ever had the blessing to work with. The purest of love shined through their images.

Although the wedding was intimate with only a few closest friends to participate to their happiness, it made the day beyond special. It was the most special moment where they had the sweetest first look with their lovely family pets, Ollie and Luna! Luna was also the ring bearer to carry up the rings down the aisle.

After the ceremony held in the garden, the reception was afterwards which was filled with laughter. Each special guest stood up to share a sweet story and word of encouragement to the newlyweds.

A Viral-Worthy Ceremony Teeming With Vibrant Mexican Tradition

Andrea & Mike’s special day was overflowing with pure bliss at Luna Escondida – the bride’s beloved family ranch. Their wedding, which paid homage to vibrant Mexican culture, was truly a family affair. With the expertise of Martha Huerta, Sarai Flores Mendivil, and Florklore, no detail was left unturned –  an adorable wooden flower cart escort display, a viral-worthy ceremony scene, and fresh citrus details are just a few moments you can expect to fall in love with at the full gallery – all taken by Gabriela Mata Photography

From the Bride… The wedding planning process was unique to say the least. Trying to plan a wedding during a worldwide pandemic was certainly no easy feat. There were so many times where we questioned everything, almost cancelled everything, questioned postponing and if it would be worthwhile. We considered eloping or just getting married through the courts and planning a party at a later date, if at all. We struggled with the dangers of gathering, and potentially putting our loved ones at risk. We struggled with guest lists and cutting them down. We struggled with the criticisms and opinions of anyone and everyone who found out we were actually following through with the wedding, against all odds. We even struggled with mourning the death of my mother in law who lost her 22 year long battle with cancer last summer. That being said, with every new change in the pandemic, every new travel restriction, every single obstacle thrown our way, we remained steadfast and more certain than ever before that even if it ended up being us two and the dogs, we were going to get married on March 27th, 2021 and we did.

My vision for the wedding was constant from the start. I’m a hopeless romantic and I wanted that butterflies in the stomach, blissfully happy, walking on cloud 9, everything is lovely and beautiful feeling to translate to every single detail and transcend to every single person attending. Working with Sarai Flores and Martha Huerta, the core of my wedding planning team, helped me accomplish just that. Every single flower, every single detail, from the stationary and flatware to the linens, candles, greenery and furniture was carefully selected to evoke romance and the delicate sweetness that is LOVE and being IN LOVE. Seeing the visions I had since I was a little girl, come fully to life was one of the most special and unforgettable feelings I’ve ever felt. Getting married in my family home, our beloved ranch, Luna Escondida, was incomparable. I never dreamed I would get to walk down the same aisle my parents walked down just a few years prior when they celebrated their 30 year wedding anniversary.

Sharing the first look with my father was beautifully emotional and deeply cathartic. However, seeing my handsome groom smiling and waiting for me at the end of the aisle was pure magic. I felt so unbelievably lucky to have my father by my side, our nearest and dearest surrounding us and the energy of our home, our love and my sweet groom filling every single inch of the space around us.
Diana alongside her meditation team and Minister Marco made the ceremony exactly what we wanted and included all the beautiful traditions seen in most Mexican weddings that I wanted featured as a part of my own ceremony. They seamlessly blended the traditional with the spiritual and created something beautiful that had everyone in tears.

The exquisite menu that our dear family friend Chef Eduardo ‘Lalo’ García created for us was utterly dreamy. He even went as far as obtaining the last black truffle of the season available in Mexico just for us, for our wedding because he knew how much I adore truffles. The attention to detail that both the teams from The Grand Bevy and BTG Bartending had in creating some of the most incredible cocktails was something our friends and family are still talking about months after our wedding. The moments captured by Gabriela Mata and Elysium Productions are the concrete evidence that none of this was a dream and I did in fact get to live the most perfect wedding weekend. A weekend where we celebrated our love, our life and even forgot, if only just for just a few days, that we were in a global pandemic. I cannot thank this incredible team enough for that and for providing me with this once in a lifetime experience.

A Sophisticated Garden Wedding That Will Drown You in Happy Tears

The goal? An intimate wedding day with lavish backyard dinner party vibes. The result? Pure magic! The dashing grooms planned their big day with the help of The Gay Agenda Collective and their closest circle of friends. Stephen’s hand drawn floral stationery, eucalyptus arrangements, and fresh fruit bowls were botanical touches sprinkled among luxe metallic accents and a glamorous table setting. With six of the most important women in their lives standing by their sides, the couple lovingly celebrated the beginning of their new chapter and toasted to a lifetime of happiness with their chosen family. Savor all of the sweet moments and splendid details of this summertime soirée, captured by their dear friend Jon Cu, in the full gallery!

From the couple… We wanted an intimate evening surrounded by our closest friends. The goal was for it to feel like a dinner party in our backyard on a summer evening. Everything was personally done by us or by dear friends including the photographer and event coordinator.

My now husband made the cake from scratch. I designed and drew all of the stationary and flowers. My friend drew sketches for our place settings. My cousin performed our ceremony and our dear friend sang and played the piano throughout the night.

Our coworkers were kind enough to serve the dinner and our friends husband said a prayer at the dinner table. We both grew up in religious families and many of our loved ones chose not to participate in our special day. We learned family is what you make it, and the six women in our wedding party and all of our guests gave us the foundation we needed for a strong and happy marriage.

This Wedding Planner Bride Added the Most Touching DIY Details to Her Lavender Fairytale!

Ariel & Nick’s enchanting wedding at The Lodge at Malibou Lake was a lavender-hued dream. Purple was the star of the palette with varying shades incorporated into everything, from the bridal party attire and décor to the Lace Byrd ring boxes and wedding favor adornments. The bride, owner of Ariel Sarah Events, personalized their day with DIY elements, including a gorgeous mirror welcome sign and a candlelit memorial table to honor the couple’s loved ones who have passed. The venue’s fireplaces and wooden features emanated an intimacy and earthy simplicity – all captured by Danielle Bacon Photography, check it out at the full gallery

From To Be Loved Events… Ariel and Nick’s fairytale wedding, originally planned for April of 2020, took place at the beautiful Lodge at Malibou Lake in Agoura Hills, California in April of 2021. The Bride, a wedding planner and event designer, launched her own company, Ariel Sarah Events, and loved seeing the day finally come together with her hard-working vendor team that stuck with her through her 2+ years of planning and re-planning due to COVID-19. See the full gallery here, captured by Danielle Bacon Photography.

Originally meeting in high school, but getting together officially in college, Ariel and Nick had a long history before their ‘I do’s. Ariel describes their proposal story, “As I was brushing my teeth and getting ready for bed, Nick walked in with the ring, slid it down the counter to me and said, “So, are we finally doing this?” With the toothbrush hanging out of my mouth, I said, “Absolutely!” What’s funny is that when I was three years old one evening, my mom was giving me a bath and my dad came sliding into the bathroom on one knee proposing to my mom. So it seems we now have a tradition in the family of being proposed to in bathrooms.” How funny and special!

Even with the longer, sometimes more stressful, planning process, the wedding day turned out exactly as envisioned: romantic, whimsical, elegant, and fun. The wedding style sprouted from the Bride’s love for the venue. The romantic venue features such as the fireplace, wood floors, lounge spaces, the beautiful lake setting for the backdrop, along with the delicious food was exactly what they wanted. Bride Ariel says, “Our wedding was truly an expression of who we are. The day itself was filled with fun, good food, friends, love and laughter. While there was an element of earthy simplicity, it was also romantic with an heir of enchantment. Our favorite color is purple, so we made sure to incorporate that color throughout the entire wedding, from the decor to the bridal party attire, with different shades to give it depth but not have it be overwhelming.” The color palette of rich purples, eggplant and plum, mixed with lighter shades of lilac and amethyst, an abundance of greenery and hints of rose gold created the perfect ambiance, especially with the plentiful amount of ivory hurricane and tea light candles that radiated a beautiful glow throughout the celebration.

With the Bride’s specific wedding design, she included several DIY elements which came together to create so many personal and touching moments for the day. One of the most special details was a memorial table that brought the couple’s loved ones who had passed to their special day. Ariel states, “I wanted to do something simple and beautiful. I chose to highlight their photos with one floating candle. The week my grandmama passed away she gave me a Barbie wearing an antique wedding dress so I added that to the table by her picture. Seeing the memorial table with the candle shining bright onto the photos made us very emotional, and I couldn’t think of a better way to honor our loved ones.” Ariel crafted her own signage, including a gorgeous mirror welcome sign, seating chart, specialty drink bar menu, and table numbers. She also pieced together their wedding favors which were boxed vanilla scented candles adorned with a rich purple silk ribbon for each of their guests by each place setting. All of the details came together from the lush sweetheart table, all of the floating candles, and wooden laser cut place cards. Velvet Blooms adorned the celebration with her magical florals, using a combination of spring varieties to stay within season with the “show stoppers”, peonies, sweet peas, ranunculus and anemones within the color palette. To complete the night, Vanilla Bake Shop wowed us all with the unique cake display made up of five different cakes in varying sizes and designs, all imagined by the bride.

At the end of the day, their favorite part of the wedding process was seeing every detail come together and being surrounded by everyone they love. For future couples planning their wedding, Nick and Ariel offer their advice: “While planning, try to take a step back and breathe. Know that everything will come together. Try to truly enjoy every moment while you’re living in it because it goes by so fast.” Also, Ariel goes on to offer some more important advice, “I have always said that even a wedding planner needs a wedding planner for their big day. Never skip out on hiring someone; it’s an investment that is just as important as all of the details. You are protecting what you have already spent so much time, energy and money on. You want someone who will be there for you, coordinating the set up, making sure all of the vendors are on the same page and ensuring that the day goes smoothly. The last thing that you want to deal with on your day is stress. Trust me, hire someone so you can sit back and enjoy every moment. I am so grateful that I hired Samantha with To Be Loved Events to do the coordination. She was able to help navigate all of the changes due to the COVID restrictions and she went above and beyond ensuring everyone was on the same page and making sure that every detail I envisioned came together. As a planner, we know all of the hard work that goes into putting on a wedding and I was so lucky to have worked with Samantha.

Intimate Backyard Chic Celebration In The Heart Of Nashville

With a vision to create an intimate celebration with family and friends, John and Susan’s wedding turned out to be what elegant backyard wedding dreams are made of. Held on a private property in the heart of Nashville, Taryn Stark Wyant Event Planning and Design created a chic day that made guests feel at home. From fireplaces filled with greenery and flickering candlelight to a reception table covered in romantic blooms, the floral designs by The Florista are heartwarming. The love and happiness of the day was artfully captured by SASs Photography. Make sure to watch the entire day unfold in the full gallery.

FromTaryn Stark Wyant Event Planning and DesignJohn and Susan met on eHarmony! Each of them came from different life experiences and felt as though they were wasting their time with the online dating ap, but thought it was worth a shot. Sue saw John’s bare-bones profile, but felt like the few things he had to say were in line with her views and decided to send him a smile. He responded with an invitation to get coffee. “Neither of us ever looked back,” Sue exclaims!

In describing her vision for the wedding day, Sue expresses, “We wanted to keep the ceremony simple and elegant. The most important part of our vision was to be surrounded by family and friends in a beautiful setting. We want it to feel like a relaxed celebration. We didn’t see this as the start of something, just a celebration to be able to share our happiness with our families and friends. We want them to feel like they were a part of an intimate celebration.”

Taryn Stark Wyant Event Planning and Design designed the day with ideals of romantic intimacy and comfortable celebration at the forefront. Hues of deep burgundy were offset with pale mauve. Brick fireplaces were filled with flickering pillar candles surrounded with swaying greenery, and family and friends converged easily to celebrate Sue and John’s commitment.

Making The Day Even Sweeter, The Entire Bridal Party At This Wedding Is Family

It’s a family affair at this rustic wedding at The Farm at Old Edwards. Amanda and Patrick wanted to fill their special day with love, so who better to be in their bridal party than their closest relatives?! The couple exchanged vows, surrounded by their loved ones, on a magical day planned by M. Elizabeth Events. Floressence Flowers filled the day with romantic floral moments that make our hearts go pitter-patter. All of the love is artfully captured in the imagery by McSween Photography. Check out the full gallery to enjoy every meaningful moment.

From McSween PhotographyAmanda and Patrick had a garden ceremony at The Farm at Old Edwards. The day started at the farmhouse where all the girls were getting ready. Every detail was perfect. From the invitation suite to the perfect flower girl baskets!

A very special part of the wedding was that Patrick and Amanda’s bridal party was all family. Amanda’s sister was her matron of honor along with her niece and Patrick’s daughters. And Patrick’s groomsmen were his son as his best man and his dad, and soon to be brother-in-law and nephew.

It was a stunning family affair full of tears, laugher, and a fun dance party reception with amazing food to follow the ceremony. Amanda and Patrick enjoyed their evening dancing and singing together with friends and family.

The Meaning Behind the Flower Girl and Ring Bearer Tradition: We’re Actually Okay With Them Just Stealing the Show, Though

Back for our last round of two truths and a lie, friends!! You ready? Because today we’re zeroing in on the cutest part of the ‘I do’ crew: flower girls and ring bearers. If you’re just catching up on our “meaning behind” series, we’ve been digging into the origins of some of our favorite wedding traditions and uncovering truths behind them. So, today we’ll outline three details about how flower girls and ring bearers came about, once upon a time ago, and you’ll make some guesses on which two are true and which one is false. No pressure, have fun – these flower and ring-toting tinies are, after all!

🌹💍 Flower girls dress like the bride, because processing right ahead of the bride symbolizes the soonlywed’s transformation from child to adult on their wedding day
🌹💍 Ring bearers carry rings on a pillow to portray the hopes and dreams of the couple becoming reality
🌹💍 Having flower girls and ring bearers in your ceremony hints about your family to come – the amount of children in your wedding party presupposes the number of children you’d like to have in the future

Like we shared last time, there are tons of wedding traditions that we practice today moreso for the fun and “YOLO-level” festivity that they offer rather than the obligations and pressure they represent. Flower girls and ring bearers are the best example of this, because while these adorable little ones can add so much personality and comic relief to a wedding celebration, they don’t need to be a part of it, if you don’t want them to! If you’d like to have them for the ceremony and photos, but would prefer an adults-only reception, you can do that too, without judgment. Just wanted to clear that up, in the event you’ve been on the fence about whether or not you should invite kids to the wedding.

The Truths

Truth #1

Today, flower girls can wear whatever you (as the couple getting married) would like them to wear on your wedding day – be it a darling dress that takes style cues from the bride herself or a tulle take with bow or ribbon accents that match the bridesmaids’ palette. But in the beginning, during Elizabethan times, flower girls would walk down the aisle before the bride, dressed in white, as a sort of flashback to the bride’s youth and innocence. The flower girl was essentially meant to emblematize the bride transforming from a child into an adult.

Truth #2

To be honest, the backstory of ring bearers and their roles in the wedding isn’t very clear; but according to Egyptian folklore, ring bearers were expected to deliver the rings (which were affixed to the top of a pillow) to the end of the aisle, and then successfully pass them along to the Best Man. The point of the pillow was to represent the culmination and realization of all of the couple’s hopes and dreams in marriage. Sweet, right? We’re happy to keep this one up, because little gentlemen wearing bowties and carrying fluffy pillows down the aisle just make our hearts happy.

The Lie

What we’re not really into honoring these days is the old-school idea that flower girls and ring bearers are there simply as pawns for the couple’s procreation and fertility fortune. So, if you thought the third sentiment sounded a little sketchy, don’t worry, we see you and we feel the same way!! Historically, flocks of flower girls were favored by Greeks and Romans as a means of bringing good luck and bounty into the newlyweds’ chambers. The girls would precede the bride, showering her path with herbs and grains, which, of course, symbolized fruitfulness and the promise of many future children. While there was never any tradition that followed “if you have X children in the wedding, you’ll have X children in life,” there was still a very pronounced reason for littles to be included in the special day – and it had everything to do with babies-to-be.

We repeat, there is no correlation between your choosing to have tiny attendants in your wedding and the amount, if any, children you choose to have thereafter. If you want kids someday, but not for your wedding, you got it. If you’re game for flower girls and ring bearers at your wedding, but still contemplating whether or not starting a family is in your grand plan, totally fine!! Or if you’re gearing up for a squad on your wedding day and eventually one of your own, then by all means, do it!

A short list of things to consider for your prospective pint-sized sisters and mini misters:

  • Flower girls and ring bearers are usually under the age of 10 – and they don’t have to be related to you! Nieces, nephews, stepchildren, godchildren, younger siblings, baby cousins, or your best friends’ firecracker cuddlers are all fair game.
  • There’s no limit to how many you can have, and they’re not mutually exclusive – you can have one without the other, neither, or both!
  • Just as you’d ask bridesmaids and groomsmen to be in your wedding, you can absolutely (we encourage it, really) make the ask notable and worthwhile for these sweethearts. Anything that involves the words ‘petal patrol’ or ‘ring security’ is perfect for a proposal… these brand-new flower girl and ring bearer prep books by planning pro, Mindy Weiss, are ADORABLE. Not only do they offer a great way to teach little ones about the duties and importance of their jobs ahead of the wedding day, all of the pretty pictures inside can get them pumped to be a part of your day (even if the promise of wedding cake is what gets their attention first!).
Photos by Dennis Kwan

Of course, on the day-of, you can also get your smallest brigade some very special gifts as a ‘thank you’ for their collective hard work (tossing petals and keeping tabs on those rings – by the way, they’re usually decoys anyway – is tough work!).

Take a peek at our Style Me Pretty Shop and our accessories section, in particular. From baskets and pillows to tiny bells and tissues (to ring and signal all those first kisses of yours and/or to hand out and ensure the criers in the back can blot those tears), these items are sure to make all of your tinies thrilled with their titles!

Magical Mountain Views Bring The Romance In This Paradise Valley Wedding

Framed by extraordinary mountain views, this Arizona wedding has officially stolen our hearts. After our couple had to change their original wedding plans due to the pandemic, they were afraid that a more intimate affair wouldn’t be as special. After what the bride and groom are now calling the “best day ever” they are convinced that they couldn’t have been more wrong. Outstanding Occasions created the dreamiest of days filled with elegance and romance set in the great outdoors. Flowers by LUX Florist make the setting even more sensational. Rachel Solomon Photography artfully captured the love of the day in her beautiful imagery. Make sure to visit the full gallery so you don’t miss a single moment.

From the bride… Steve and I had met back in 2014 through mutual friends, and our whole relationship has been very family and friend-focused. We knew when the time came to plan our wedding, we wanted our big day to have the same feeling of celebrating our love with our closest friends and family.

El Chorro was the perfect venue for our wedding – it is the most beautiful location that combines our love of the Arizona desert with a romantic feeling the moment you walk in. The beautiful views of Camelback Mountain combined with our garden theme were exactly what I wanted.

Dinner on the lawn under the bistro lights and stars was a dream. The smaller guest count, due to the pandemic, ended up being wonderful. We were truly surrounded by our closest friends and family, aside from a few who were unable to travel given the circumstances. We danced the night away with our best friends

Enchanting Editorial At the Exclusive Cal-a-Vie Health Spa

This is the kind of striking beauty that makes me wish I could go back in time and choose this very venue for my own wedding day. Sun-drenched hillsides, Provencal architecture, and a 400-year-old chapel from Dijon, France are just a few things you can expect to see at Cal-a-Vie Health Spa. Brooke Keegan Special Events put together a styled shoot that celebrates the elegance of the venue, while Kaleb Norman James Design blew us away with his romantic floral arrangements (ummm, can we talk about that ceremony?!)

From Jacqui Cole… This inspiration shoot was the product of the first KCK Collective Experience – a luxury portfolio building workshop for photographers designed to enhance their portfolio and expand their knowledge of the luxury wedding market. The workshop and artistic direction behind this editorial is led by Brooke Keegan Special Events, Kaleb Norman James and photographer, Jacqui Cole.

Inspiration for the shoot was drawn from the elegance of the venue – Cal-a-Vie Health Spa which is quietly nestled in the hills of Vista, CA. The venue is extremely unique and the grounds are reminiscent of French gardens. We knew that it would be the perfect location for our feminine and romantic shoot.

The 400 year old French chapel imported from Dijon France offered an incredible location to hold the Ceremony. With oversized oak doors, rows of pews and the intimate setting inside, Kaleb created florals that lined the aisle, filled the altar table and adorned the taper candle chandeliers. With no electricity in the Chapel, pillar candles were used to create romance and warmth in the space.

The florals played off of the natural stone surroundings and green hills of Vista, CA. The elegant tablescape included warm whites, creams, peach and soft green tones. The place cards were uniquely placed inside glass cloches with a touch of hellebores. The Ark Rentals provided the curated china, flatware and glassware to create a refined yet whimsical vision.

Beach Bridal Beauty created a soft, subtle look with hair and makeup for our lovely bride who wore a romantic off-the-shoulder Berta gown from Lovella Bridal.

The paper goods from Samantha Meyer Studio were beyond our expectations! The invitations were wrapped in custom monogrammed muslin handkerchiefs and tied with silk ribbon. The ‘escort cards’ took on a unique twist with muslin wrapped hand poured custom candles that were elegantly tied with each of the guests’ names.

The couple enjoyed a champagne toast next to the tiered cake by Grace & Honey. The cake itself was beautiful and elegant and surrounded in florals on top of an antique stone table.

Le Reve Films captured the story of the couple through video and truly showcased the romance and beauty of the entire day.
