Traditional Elegance With A Twist At The Rainier Club

This intimate spring wedding is a spectacular celebration of love. Combining the rich history of Seattle’s Rainier Club with delicate seasonal blooms, Carina Van Son Weddings created a timeless affair dripping in elegance. From the exquisite sage invitation suite by Perfect Press to the incredibly romantic blooms, we can’t help but fall in love with every inch of this wedding. You can feel the love of the day in the artful images by Blue Rose Photography. Visit the full gallery for a closer look at all the pretty little details.

From Blue Rose PhotographyTraditional with a twist is the perfect way to describe the bride’s style and her vision for her wedding. She wanted the feel of a timeless affair with a hint of an indoor garden party. The goal was to highlight the history of her downtown Seattle venue, The Rainier Club, with the softness of spring blooms.

For her personal attire, Abby’s style shines through with beautiful architectural lines from the Monique Lhuillier gown to the all-white, long stem rose bouquet to her custom marquis solitaire engagement ring. With their transition from a large wedding, to a smaller 40 person gathering, their bridesmaids and groomsmen chose their own attire in keeping with the springtime theme.

French blue, sage green, and shades of pink were used throughout their ceremony and reception. Cocktail hour and dancing were hosted in a Parisian-inspired ballroom filled with art deco art and our palette was narrowed in with just black and white to accent the statement decor.

We’re Clearly In Love With Acrylic Wedding Decor: Here’s How to Get the Look With Our Style Me Pretty Shop

One of the biggest trends we’ve seen light up in weddings over the last few years is acrylic details – and given how modern the look is, it’s only going to keep being a thing in the world of couples tying the knot. If you’ve zeroed in on anything see-through at your friend or family member’s ‘I dos,’ then you’ve seen the trend at work; if it’s your turn, now, and you want to incorporate some acrylic accents in your own affair, then we say “GO FOR IT!” You can’t go wrong with a motif that quite literally disappears into the background, allowing all of your words and sentiments to shine.

In truth, acrylic decor is one without limitations. Because it’s clear and lightweight, it can harmonize with virtually any wedding aesthetic – from rustic and romantic to modern and whimsical – any season or color palette. You don’t have to worry about anything breaking during the day, either, because the elements aren’t delicate and precious like real glass. While they bear the same subtlety and translucence as their quartz crystals counterparts, they’re a lot stronger and more resilient: this is the decor you want standing by on your big day.

Since we’ve seen Lucite and acrylic decor star in countless Style Me Pretty real weddings and inspirational shoots, we obviously had to weave the contemporary trend into our own SMP Shop. You’ll see that there are a number of clear tablescape additions and easy-hang neon signs (that pop against their acrylic backings!) available to shop, but don’t forget that acrylic can come as laser-cut gold mirrored iterations, too. If you’d like to bring a festive, yet undoubtedly striking touch to your champagne tower or marquee bar at cocktail hour, you can make it happen with our Gold Bubbly Bar and Cheers Signs. We like them opposite some fancy gilded rim champagne flutes, but they can go with any modern beverage display.

We have so much more pretty on the horizon for our Shop, and we can’t wait to share new additions soon! But for now, we’re looking back on some of our favorite acrylic moments from the Style Me Pretty archives and sharing similar looks that are ready to shop right now!

A Clear Welcome to the Wedding

What we love about this look:

The calligraphed gold details are so beautiful – especially with the juxtaposition of bold, all-cap typeface and soft, romantic script. With the draped greenery and spray of flowers at the bottom, it almost looks like the couple’s names and ceremony particulars are distilled in a living, breathing organic moment.

How to style something similar for your celebration:

Create a welcome table that gives your guests a few extracurriculars to consider – writing in your guest book, dropping off their cards and/or gifts, and finding their seat for the reception. Candles, greenery, and flowers do a stellar job completing the scene.

Acrylic Table Numbers

What we love about this look:

It’s simple and oh-so-memorable. The table number is clearly paramount, while the acrylic design plays a humble canvas.

How to style something similar for your celebration:

While our table numbers are lettered versus numbered, they still provide a clean and evocative modern display for each of your tablescapes. The printing in real gold foil ensures optimal double-sided visibility, not to mention, it adds a dose of romance to an otherwise minimalist focal point.

See-Through Place Cards for the Sweetheart Table

What we love about this look:

Everyone else has escort cards featuring their names lettered in script + their table numbers, but the bride and groom stand alone at their table – the sweetheart table. And sure, it’s nice to see your name written out, but when you’re the guests of honor for just a day (or a weekend), you can embrace your Bride and Groom titles, proudly.

How to style something similar for your celebration:

Acrylic place card, but make it fashion. What does that look like? Well, you blow it up a bit – instead of just going with a simple acrylic place card, you go with larger clear and gold foil bride and groom signs. We think these pair gorgeously with single blooms atop your napkins.

… And a little something something for the back of your chairs. #OurDay

This Classic California Wedding Is The Epitome Of Elegance

With charming details and special touches, this California wedding at the bride’s family home is easy to fall in love with. Mandy Scott Events beautifully brought the couple’s vision to life with personalized accents like the reception table set with the bride’s grandmother’s heirloom hand-painted chargers. A mix of seasoned blush peonies, white roses and soft hydrangeas by Main Street Floral Gardens brought a romantic addition to the day. The artful imagery by Blue Note Weddings captures the love of the celebration perfectly. You won’t want to miss a single detail in the full gallery.

From Blue Note WeddingsThe couple decided to get married in the bride’s family home where she grew up. The beautiful home was a dream estate. Tucked away in the majestic redwood trees, the property was perfectly manicured and the wind blew fresh-smelling scents from the rose bushes, fresh lavender, foxglove, Clematis flowers, and lemon trees that lined the lower garden.

Cocktail hour was hosted in the lower vegetable and herb garden. Guests were surrounded by arugula, lettuce, snap peas and fresh tomatoes which were harvested by the chefs for the wedding feast. Talk about farm to table!

With soft cream tones and blush accents the dusty blue hues tied in beautifully with their classic New England wedding style. The space was perfect to host all of the couple’s closest family and friends for dinner and dancing. A clear tent added the painterly natural light to peer in and shelter the gentle breeze that came in at sunset.

This Timeless California Wedding Is Filled With Personalized Touches

This classic California wedding is filled with elegant extras we can’t get enough of. Opting for a minimalist color palette, it was personalized touches like signature drinks and cookies honoring the couple’s puppies that stole the show. From the open-air ceremony under string lights to a dessert bar of epic proportions, Weddings by Susan Dunne designed the dreamiest of days. Florals in green and white, designed by Mulberry & Moss, added a decidedly romantic feel to the festivities. The love of the day is joyously captured in the artful imagery by Anya Kernes Photography. Don’t miss a single moment in the full gallery.

From Weddings by Susan DunneOne of my favorite moments of the day was seeing Cory’s face when Allegra walked down the aisle for the very first time. They decided to opt out for their first look and keep it traditional. This was something that was very special to Cory and Allegra.

Allegra and Cory wanted their wedding to be romantic, elegant with very minimal color. The florals were designed using only white and greens blooms. The tables were adorned with dusty blue and gold.

A mini surprise we had for the Allegra and Cory was sugar cookies with their puppies’ faces on them. They were over the moon for them, and have the most magical memories of their special day.

A Modern Atlanta Wedding Complete With One Wow-Worthy Floral Chandelier

Ready to see a totally swoon-worthy wedding that’s classic yet modern to its core? Well, here it is! A dream team of vendors brought this perfect spring day to life, including expert planner  Blush Pink Weddings and artistically talented floral designer Righteous Oaks Floral. When it comes to wedding style, there’s no denying this lovely couple wins the award for best dressed bride and groom. I mean, can we take a moment to appreciate that gorgeous dress?! There’s so much more pretty to see in the full gallery, authentically documented by the talented Eve Yarbrough!

From the photographer Eve Yarbrough… Kiersten and Will’s spring wedding day was the perfect balance of classic and modern, yet fun and whimsical. From the dramatic floral installation hanging above the reception space, to the bride’s blushing pink bouquet, and sleek black bridesmaids dresses to match the groom’s classic tux, no detail was overlooked by this stylish couple.

From the bride… Our vision for our wedding day was a chapel-like feel in the space of our warehouse venue, with a modern color palette of black and white, softened with pale neutrals and blush. My dad, with some help, made a 10 ft cross out of cedar that was delicately draped with flowers and greenery.

My favorite moment of our wedding day was definitely the first look, as it allowed allowed us to have some alone time, and decreased our nerves throughout the rest of the day. We got ready and shared our first look at my childhood home, which was a special and personal touch. Our florist exceeded our expectations, and utilized the high ceilings and exposed beams of our industrial style venue to design a stunning hanging floral chandelier, one of my favorite details of the day. My advice to brides-to-be would be to find a vendor team that understands your vision. Our vendors made all the difference, and it was worth the time to find a team that you trust!

Tradition Meets Glamour In This Sicilian Mediterranean Micro Wedding

The enchanting seaside village of Marzamemi, in Italy, sets the scene for this micro wedding of epic proportions. Think bright colors, bold beauty, and the scents and sights of Sicily. Luana Aloi created a tribute to this beautiful island in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. Vibrant flowers by ArredoVerde capture your eye and cultivate a feeling of elegance. The artful imagery by Sergio Sorrentino will transport you to the coast and have you falling in love with every exceptional element of the day. Visit the full gallery to hit the Mediterranean.

From Sergio SorrentinoThis young couple, Giselle and Thomas, traveling from Belgium, had chosen to organize their destination wedding in Marzamemi because they fell in love with this little village during a vacation in Italy. The setting chosen for this destination wedding is the Palace of Villadorata, founded in 1752, which overlooks Piazza Regina Margherita.

We decided to combine “Sicilianity” and glamour. The first shines through especially in the initial part of the event: during the celebration, in the table setting and in the details, such as the stationery from the baroque references and on the tones of gold created by Lo Voglio Design and the ceramics specially created by the Sicilian master craftsmen Bevilacqua.

The floral arrangements of the ceremony setting were made with bougainvillea, peonies, and English roses, all in shades of fuchsia, pink, and lemon yellow. The touch of Sicilianity also shines through in the table setting, thanks to the napkins with majolica print and the place cards with fruit, which all enhanced by the beauty of the floral centerpieces. An unforgettable day, in an authentic Sicilian scenario, among the warmth of its people, the colors that capture the eye, and the unique scents of its earth.

Modern Marie Antoinette Inspired Spring Wedding

Romance is in full effect at this magical garden party of a wedding! Here at SMP, we love a good mismatched bridal party, so naturally, this group of gals totally caught our eye! Stunning floral designs by FLORA embodied the warm spirits of Amber and Will, and we’re getting butterflies from the beauty of it all. It’s safe to say, this is the definition of a spring wedding done right. Lindley Battle Photography captured the extraordinary emotions and lovely details in the full gallery that you sure don’t want to miss!

From Lindley Battle Photography… Set at the historic Graylyn Estate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Amber and Will threw a stunning spring wedding featuring lush floral design with modern garden party elegance. Every detail of the day was impeccably planned, from the creative floral dresses of Amber’s bridesmaids to the elegant simplicity of their ceremony overlooking the lake. When asked to describe their wedding in three words, Amber and Will said that the day was a dreamy, magical garden party. With the luxury venue being located five minutes from Amber’s childhood home, she spent so much time during her younger years walking around the grounds, which made having her wedding there so much more special and meaningful.

For both Amber and Will, family and friends are incredibly important, and getting to celebrate this special day with their loved ones from all over was everything they could have asked for. When asked about their wedding planning experience, Amber said that she really loved how Will wanted to have a say in the parts of the wedding that were important to him – the band, the food, the first dance, and the marriage counseling. They would make date nights out of figuring out the first dance and making a song list for the band. Amber shared that her biggest advice would be to have fun planning it all. Not to get too caught up in all of the little details. If the bride isn’t stressed – nobody is stressed. There will be mishaps that happen on your day but if you stay positive nobody will even notice. The band is key, the photographer is key, the venue is key. Everything else will fall into place, but be certain to get vendors that you trust!

When asked about her favorite moments of the day, here’s what Amber had to say: “I have always said since college I would rather stay at the pregame with my girls than go to the party. Getting ready with all of my best friends and sisters was so special to me. Lots of champagne and giggles. My dog is my best friend and she came for the last hour or so for pictures and to hang and that made my entire day. Seeing my dad for the first time was very emotional for me. I love him he is my best friend. I don’t know how to describe the feeling but I couldn’t believe he was about to give me away. I wanted more time! Seeing Will for the first time was the best feeling in the entire world. Knowing we were about to officially get married was indescribable. I have never been so happy. It was such a special moment and I am so glad we chose to do a first look. I will never forget the way he looked at me the first time he saw me. Still gives me butterflies and a smile from ear to ear. I for sure thought since I had cried so many tears at the rehearsal dinner I would be good to go to say my vows. Did not happen. I could barely get through them without choking up and crying. I love how Will was looking at me and said, “You can do this”. It was just another reminder of how much he loves me and how I know he will be my biggest cheerleader throughout our life. I felt so safe with him there in front of all of our friends and family and I love that we got to start our married life that way.”

A Watercolor Garden Wedding That’s Prettier Than A Picture

We’re head over heels for this watercolor-inspired garden wedding. With colorful, artistic elements Alexander Madison Weddings designed a day that brings the fun. From a handpainted invitation suite by the bride herself to creative garden puns woven into each element of the day, the wedding was a personalized reflection of the couple at every turn. Beautiful blooms by Fern Studio Flowers brought the entire vision to life. You can feel the love and happiness of the day radiate in the images by Jessica Roberts. You’ll love each and every unique detail in the full gallery.

From the bride… My husband Shane and I were born on the exact same day and year just hours apart, and we never walked a single day on this earth without the other one in it. This was a focal point in our emotional vows since till death do us part is all the more impactful for us. We wanted to get married in Columbia where we first met in college before our 21st birthday, which was one of our first dates! We fell in love with the Lace House and its gardens and knew it was perfect for a watercolor garden wedding of our dreams

A colorful garden wedding that reflected my artwork at a beautiful historic home was a dream come true. I love color and wanted my wedding to be a cohesive reflection of us at every turn. I hand-painted and designed the save the date, invitation, and all paper goods, came up with creative garden puns like “please be seeded” and named the bar “The Watering Can”, and used my painting of the Lace House for a custom Guest Book.

Our cakes were baked with love from the Groom’s family bakery Nothing Bundt Cakes and a hand-painted champagne bottle stole the show painted by the Bride’s step-dad. It was a reflection of love in a beautifully intimate setting that was more personal feeling than we could have dreamed.

The Backyard Wedding of your Dreams at the Bride and Grooms Home in Southern California!

There is something about backyard weddings…they have a different feel to them, intimate and a bit more personal as the homes typically have a special tie to the couple. For this backayard gem, the nuptials took place at the bride and groom’s own home covered in beautiful blooms by Swiss Bloom Designs and the sweetest decor from floral linens to hanging lanterns. Planned by Michelle Kelley Events, this backyard beauty is dream worthy and the photos by Christine Donee Photography are all the proof you need! Check it out below!

From Michelle of Michelle Kelley EventsA day that was timeless, intimate, and filled to the brim with joy was what Emily and Bill dreamed of when it came time to plan their wedding day. Their home, surrounded by lush and fragrant landscaping, provided the most perfect backdrop for their special day.

Guests were welcomed with perfect summer sips as they made their way through the stone pathway leading to the ceremony. Adorned by lush blooms by Swiss Bloom Designs, friends and family walked through the archway and were seated around a stunning ground arch. As Bill and Emily made their way to the center of the arch, love and joy-filled the space as they exchanged their vows.

Their special day continued into their tree-filled backyard where guests were treated to delicious bites and cocktails by Jennifer Naylor Catering while being carried away by the sounds of each other’s laughter and the perfectly paired tunes from Bob Gail Music. As the sun began to set and the lantern’s glow appeared, guests made their way to dinner and an evening filled with dancing.

Sparkling Chandleries, candlelit dining tables dressed in a delicate floral appliquéd linen, and a dancefloor-ready for memories to be cherished for years to come, guests were in awe of the transformation of where Emily and Bill were just married. The evening was consumed with loving speeches, a delicious dinner, sweets from Fantasy Frostings that would satisfy any sweet tooth, and the perfect tunes for everyone to dance the night away with.

This Sweet But Sophisticated Peaches And Cream Editorial Hits The Spot

Nothing says summer like peaches and cream, and this dessert-inspired editorial hits the spot. Built-in 1898, Liriodendron Mansion was designed in the Georgian Revival style and includes 108 acres of property. From the elegant invitations by Simply Rosie Designs to the delicate and romantic florals by Violet Florals, every inch of this editorial feels like a whipped cream dream. All the light and airy details are artfully captured in the beautiful imagery by Sarandon Smith Photography. Be sure to have a big helping of dessert in the full gallery.

From Sarandon Smith PhotographyWhites, creams, and peach tones were grounded by beautiful deep greens that created the exact effect we were dreaming of; the feel of something delicious topped generously with whipped cream for this peaches and cream wedding.

It was important to create inspiration that showed our LGBTQIA+ models within a design that broke from a specific feeling of “masculine” or “feminine” and just let them be themselves within a beautiful and timeless setting, which we found perfectly at the Liriodendron Mansion.

Our vendors ran with the vision. Violet Florals brought us deliciously light florals that paired perfectly with the rest of the details to accentuate the soft and creamy features of each element, and Simply Rosie Designs created a stationery suite that embodied the whipped cream dream we had. Nothing could top a celebration more perfectly than a ribbon-wrapped cake made to match one of our groom’s peachy pink suit jacket.

This All-Star Vendor Team Just Found Your Dream Venue for a French Fairytale Wedding

This utterly gorgeous shoot in France represents all that we love about bridal fashion AND the cheerful hues of spring! Laura Andréa Wedding planned this warm and inspiring day to perfection with the expert design help of Capsule de rêves. Emily Alarcon created a dreamy atmosphere with her thoughtful and conceptualized floral designs that truly showcased her expertise. After scrolling through these images, we’ve concluded that there’s no better location for a French castle fairytale than Chateau de La Baronnie. The ultimate dose of inspiration awaits in the full gallery, poetically captured by Laura Zorman!

From Laura Zorman… An intimate wedding full of colors in the open air in the middle of an olive grove with a modern and timeless touch. This editorial, inspired by a spring getaway, took place at the Château de la Baronnie in the South West of France, all based on a pastel color palette composed mainly of peach and coral tones. This shoot was organized and planned by the wedding planner, Laura Andréa Wedding. The images were captured by photographer Laura Zorman Photography as well as the delicate moments by videographer Jean 3 Petits Points Films.

The Château de la Baronnie was the ideal place to bring together the summer and peaceful atmosphere we wanted to create. When planning style and design. It was important to bring elements of the place and colors and textures of the surrounding environment. The decorations for the ceremony, cocktail, reception table and wedding cake were designed by designer Sarah Dream Capsule and her assistant Sainthya Details Depres. A reception table has been set with pastel blue napkins, gold-edged plates and mother-of-pearl cutlery soften the color of the wooden furniture.

A cocktail lounge area set in the middle of olive trees, where our models were able to enjoy and bask in the late afternoon sun. The floral designer Emily Alarcon decided to integrate fresh flowers in peach and coral colors with light pastel touches into the whole set, in order to enhance the natural beauty of the surrounding park. The stationery created by Insieme creations offers a romantic and elegant design that takes up the blue and gold color that we can find in the choice of tableware.

To end the spring dining atmosphere in a garden, a classic white cake was decorated with fresh flowers. The bride wears two outfits from designer Thibaut Lauvergne, the first dress which contains a bow in the front, definitely makes a fashion statement, and the second consisting of a long skirt and a crop top adding a touch of modernity while remaining classic in the silhouette. The groom’s navy blue tuxedo perfectly balances his sleek and modern outfits. Our team worked through a day creating a truly warm and inspiring atmosphere in an intimate setting for the ultimate outdoor wedding.

Wooden Wedding Decor We Love and How to Get the Look With Our Style Me Pretty Shop

When rustic weddings started to steal the hearts of every engaged couple out there, a trend was born and it hasn’t gone away over the course of the last 10, maybe even 15 years. The trend was (and still is) wooden decor and details, and in the earliest iterations, it was a lot more raw and DIY-forward, but in the past few years, it’s evolved into a much more elegant and elevated style choice. Don’t get us wrong, we are big fans of shabby chic curation, but we much prefer working wood into the overall wedding design with intention and an appreciation for timelessness. So, tree cookie coasters, burlap-swathed tablescapes, and mason jars tied with twine, while we’ll remember you fondly, we’re loving the more mature and inspired direction you’re taking these days.

Today, wooden decor and timbered touches don’t completely monopolize the look and feel of a wedding. You can weave wood into your details and design and still have a classic or romantic or bohemian or vintage or coastal casual vibe – and a lot of that versatility comes from the modern and minimalist strokes taken with the trend. Instead of mixed boards and plank-assembled signage, the looks are a lot cleaner and more streamlined. Wording is written with fine-tip white ink and more of a polished, calligraphy-style slant versus overly-whimsy flourishes. Overall, the wooden displays and thematics favored right now are a lot less clunky than they were way back when – a true realization of the ‘less is more’ play.

When we thought about the wooden pieces we’d offer in our Style Me Pretty Shop, we always wanted the mix-and-match appeal to be apparent. You can do traditional bright white, scalloped table numbers, but then pair them with wooden table number holders; you can do wooden Mr. & Mrs. placards at your main table, but then have them placed on stunning porcelain plates, in the company of metallic flatware and gold-rimmed chateau flutes; you can invite your guests into cocktail hour or draw them to your guestbook with wooden signboards surrounded by metallic votives and delicate greenery. Long story short,  you can use wood to spell things out for your close friends and family, but the decor doesn’t have to define your wedding.

We have so much more pretty on the horizon for our Shop, and we can’t wait to share new additions soon! But for now, we’re looking back on some of our favorite wooden moments from the Style Me Pretty archives and sharing similar looks that you can shop right now

A Wooden Welcome

A table like this was made for grazing. Your guests can drop off their cards, take a peek at some of your favorite pics (and take note of your killer wedding hashtag), and leave a very special entry in your guestbook.

Our 3-piece wooden sign set can work wonders for your cocktail hour mise-en-scène, which essentially greets them, goads them into grabbing a drink (although that won’t take much!), and gets their good lucks and well wishes in your guestbook.

Wooden Table Numbers

Like we said, for weddings in the 2020s, wood accenting – like these gorgeous wooden table markers – is subtle, but the impact is unforgettable.

While we don’t have wooden table numbers of our own, we do have silver and gold table number cards that can be stationed in our wooden table number holders

A Wooden Nod to the Newlyweds

Minted Is Here To Save The Day With The Do’s and Don’ts For Your Wedding Invitations!

When it comes to writing out your invitations, there is tradition, there are rules, there is confusion! BUT, Minted is here to sort it all out for you with some do’s and don’ts of writing out your wedding day details for your guests! From plus ones to postage, we’ve got the ‘yays’ and the ‘nays’ all laid out for you, below. Plus a text your photo option for custom designs by the Minted team! Check it all out below!

Do’s

Send Your Invitations on TimeFirstly, it’s important to order your invitations four-five months out! It’s typical to mail the invitations six weeks in advance of your wedding date unless it’s a destination wedding or over a holiday. In this case, send out your invitations three months ahead of your big day.

Be Conscientious in Setting RSVP Deadlines…Ensure you give guests ample time to reply while leaving enough buffer time to finalize headcounts for your caterer and venue.

List “Plus-One” Names…While your guest will appreciate you extending the invite to their “plus one,” go the extra mile by including their full name on the invitation as well. Your guest and their plus-one will appreciate the personalization and be even more honored to celebrate your special day!

Mention the Host Names First…The hosts are typically the bride or groom’s parents. As a courtesy, you can consider including your significant other’s parents even if they are not funding the wedding. Another option is to say ‘Together With Their Parent’s/Families…”

Set the Tone for your Wedding Reception…Whether you choose classic wording, such as “reception to follow” or take a more bubbly approach with “join us for drinks, dinner, and dancing,” make sure you include details about your after-ceremony festivities!

Include Your Wedding Website…Don’t forget to include your wedding website on your invitation! This allows your attendees to view pertinent details about your wedding, such as the itinerary, travel, and where you are registered. It is also a wonderful way for your guests to learn more about your love story and view snapshots of you and your soon-to-be spouse!

Use Appropriate Titles and Ensure Correct Spelling…Make sure your guests know how important they are to you by spelling their full legal names correctly and using proper titles. Proofreading is so important – don’t be shy about asking your fiancé, parents, and bridesmaids to read over your invitations before sending them out.

Include Postage…If you’re requesting RSVPs via mail, your wedding guests should not have to pay even a cent to reply. As a side note: choosing postage that matches your palette and wedding theme is always a delightful touch! Plus, it will make for a beautiful flat lay shot of your wedding stationery!

Offer Meal Choices…If you are having a sit-down dinner, include your entrée options on the RSVP response cards. This way, you can ensure your guests will be served exactly what they want, and your caterer will thank you for the crystal-clear communication.

Don’ts

Create Alternate Guest Lists…Some couples create a “B-list” of guests in cases where many of their “A-list” guests decline. But, try to stick to your original list – your best friend’s cousin is either invited or not. Chances are “B-list” guests will discover their “A-list” friends received their invitations weeks earlier, and nobody enjoys feeling like an afterthought.

Mention Registry Information or Gifts on Your Invitation…Opt for including it on your wedding website instead as it is generally considered to be poor-form to include such details – or any mention of gifts – on the invitation. Your registry information is also likely to spread through word of mouth with your loved ones abuzz in anticipation of your big day!

Spell Out Courtesy Titles …The ONLY exception is “Doctor.”

Rush the Follow Up…It’s likely that your guests mailed their RSVPs just as the deadline approached. Wait three-four days (or even better, a week) before calling to follow up!

Let Your Guests Know You’re Having an “Unplugged” Ceremony…Save this detail for your wedding website. Also, be sure to display an explanatory sign that your guests can read before being seated and include this information in your wedding program. Your officiant can also make a brief announcement before the ceremony begins.

Minted offers unique designs by independent artists with unlimited rounds of customization with your dedicated Minted designer. From start to finish, Minted offers you a seamless process with FREE custom envelopes and FREE guest addressing to match your design, and these do’s and don’ts certainly don’t hurt!… And did you know that you can also text a photo to 22737 and they will send you back 5 save the date, event change, or engagement announcements selected especially for your photo?

Effortlessly Romantic Pastel Wedding Inspiration

Real-life husband and wife Heather and Aaron had the time of their lives at this styled shoot featuring every aspect of a wedding day. From getting ready shots to celebratory toasts, Ohana Events planned a celebratory day filled with stylish and memorable moments. Florals by Michaela Mantarian told the unique story of the day in a way that wows. Every special detail was artfully captured in the imagery by Rachael Kazmier Photography. Visit the full gallery for a closer look.

From Lindsey Taylor PhotographyThe vision for this styled shoot was elegant, romantic, and high-end. Inspiration was drawn from Providence Vineyard’s timeless airy barn, as well as the open vineyard just outside its doors. Rainbows of delicate pastel hues were incorporated in the color palate. From the invitations to the tablescape, the floral ceremony arch to the custom pastries, each detail was woven together to create an enchanting and luxurious affair.

The models, Heather and Aaron, are a real married couple who enjoyed every moment of the day. Heather gushed that the shoot was more beautiful than their budget wedding 8 years ago, and the vendor team was excited to make her feel like a princess. The bridesmaid models had lots of fun twirling and giggling with their fluffy bouquets. Bespoke Workshop is a day-long photography workshop and styled shoot for wedding photographers, hosted by Lindsey Taylor and Rachael Kazmier.

The day started with education, themed around running a wedding day and building a successful photography business, and finished with a gorgeous styled shoot. The shoot featured every aspect of a real wedding day – getting ready moments, a mock ceremony, bridal party, tablescapes, food and beverages, and of course, many bride and groom portraits. Attendees left with new knowledge, a full portfolio of a wedding day, and some new friends, too!

Three Elegant Wedding Gowns Drive The Inspiration For This French Styled Shoot

Get ready for not one but three of the most beautiful gowns you have ever seen! Style drove the vision for this day, from the elegant bridal wear to the beauty of the Château d’Ermenonville in France. Wedding planner, designer, and stylist Aurélia Boulenger created a day that’s fresh, fun, and filled with endless inspiration. Lush, romantic blooms by BayaFlor & Design bring the day to life. You’ll fall in love with every last image artfully captured by Claire Eyos. Make sure not to miss all the beauty of the day in the full gallery.

From Aurélia BoulengerThis wedding inspiration took place at the beautiful Château d’Ermenonville. The main inspirations for this project were the venue in itself and the beautiful gowns.

The gowns were the starting point when working on the color palette. We really wanted something fresh and colorful that would illustrate what could look like a stylish summer wedding in a French château.

The entire day came together beautifully to celebrate romance and love. It was an ode to style and elegance that will inspire today’s brides.

How to Perfect a Colorful Yet Understated Wedding Palette

Let’s be honest – we love a couple who isn’t afraid to be a little extra with their wedding palette. Sure, blush and green will always be a classic, but Nothing But Love Wedding and Events is proving to couples everywhere that colorful hues (done right) can totally stand the test of time. Today’s styled shoot at Brighton Abbey showcases a whimsical palette of coral, peach, yellow, pink, and blue hues. R Love Floral created lush yet understated blooms that will blow you away. Ready to see every last detail? Head to the full gallery – all taken by Heirloom Rose Photography!

From Heirloom Rose Photography… This editorial was inspired by all things color. Nothing But Love Wedding and Events and I had the goal to showcase a beautiful whimsical editorial with coral, peach, yellow, pink, and blues.

We wanted to create colorful wedding inspiration without being excessive. The table was beautifully adorned with some beautiful bright florals from R Love Florals, some of the flowers were some large luscious pink peonies!

Sherri from Monsherriink created a beautiful vellum menu that adds such romantic flair to the tablescape and as well some beautiful citrus place setting with vellum and calligraphy writing. We incorporated more color with some floral-infused signature drinks by HD Liquid Catering.

This followed by a statement cake placed alongside a pop of color with the coral velvet linen. Our beautiful model wore an exquisite and whimsical Beccar gown paired with some beautiful earrings from Haute Bride and a headpiece from Twigs and Honey.
