An Elegant And Modern Romantic Wedding Featuring A Circular Ceremony

The fall season is beautifully celebrated in this elegant day designed by To Be Loved Events. Majestic shades of purples, burgundies, and cream play beautifully together in the textures, linens, and florals that help to tell our tale of true love. The standout moment is the ceremony in the round, where white Chiavari chairs encircle a chuppah overflowing with blooms by Blaire Kimball Design. Every magical moment is artfully captured in the imagery by Katie Jackson Photography, watch the whole day unfold in the full gallery.

From To Be Loved EventsOur elegant and modern vision came together with inspiration from the fall season and the color palette of plum purples, burgundys, blushes, and creams. Every detail of our North Ranch Country Club wedding inspiration was designed and styled beautifully by Samantha of To Be Loved Events.

The circle ceremony was composed of beautiful white Chiavari chairs encircling the chuppah covered in blooms, which was entirely created onsite. By allowing space between the floral pieces, it created a sense of whimsy with the illusion that the structure was placed delicately into the center. This unique, modern ceremony style has become more and more popular for 2021 weddings and moving forward.

Our tablescape design incorporated fresh figs along with our gorgeous florals and candle accents. Plum napkins, gold and ivory flatware, elegant china, and unique La Tavola linens were only a few of the details that made the reception a sight to behold in the ballroom. Our vellum menus and calligraphy place cards by The Kimi Collective completed each table setting.

Romantic Estate Wedding In San Jose With Pops Of Lilac And Pink

With a neutral palette of sand, taupe, and grey, accented with pops of lilac and pink, this wedding makes it easy to fall in love. Loop Flowers created the most divine arrangements that made you feel as if you were walking through a romantic garden. Kindred Events Co. carefully curated all of the exquisite details to create an unforgettable event from start to finish. You’ll ooh and aah over all the lovely perfectly captured in time by Natalie Bray Studios, head to the full gallery to fawn over every magical moment.

From Natalie Bray StudiosOn a stunning Summer afternoon, Maddie and Ian wed at a Private Estate in the Hills of San Jose. One of their first choices was hiring Joni of Kindred Events Co. to design and plan their event. She created a perfect reflection of the couple with a modern, yet romantic garden aesthetic.

During the ceremony, Maddie and Ian’s dog Rookie and nephew were their ring bearers. It was adorable. The couple chose to walk each other down the aisle and bring in beautiful benches to make everyone feel at home. Two of their closest friends spoke inspiring words to the couple during the ceremony and they had their own personalized vows, which left everyone beaming with joy.

The couple like many others had to postpone their celebration, so this was incredibly special to have all of their favorite people at one of their favorite places. Cocktails and apps were enjoyed around the pool and dinner was set overlooking the hills and sunset was just stunning. Couldn’t have asked for a more heartfelt and joyous celebration for these two.

Autumn elegance meets southern charm in this exquisite editorial. Set at Morgan Hill Estate on 20 acres in the heart of the Temecula Wine Country, our hearts go pitter-patter for all the darling details, textures, and moments of whimsy artfully designed by Naomi Bennett Design. For the reception, New Creation Florals designed three beautiful centerpieces, styled with petite textured bud vases and golden candles to add to the mood. From Naomi Bennett DesignThe stunning Morgan Hill Estate set the scene for this beautiful editorial. It boasts of such epic valley views with a lush garden and is the perfect backdrop for any couple who wants to wow their guests. The goal was to keep the ceremony space minimal with decor, yet make a big impact with the backdrop view and gorgeous floral details.

New Creation Florals added Dahlias, Peonies, Golden Rain Pods and Copper Beach to the vines on the gazebo creating an X frame, a perfect backdrop for the couple’s “I Do’s”. The bistro wooden chairs and petal aisle lead the way to the bride and groom as they exchanged endearing smiles and vows.

The reception was a creative design pairing of classic elegance mixed with modern details and untraditional elements. A Classic Chicago Garden Wedding Filled With Elegance At Every Turn

Not many people get to marry the love of their life twice, but this couple did just that! Plans of a big wedding were put on hold due to the pandemic, so our lovebirds decided to get married in a small family wedding instead. A year later they got married for the second time, but with the help of Kristina Taheri Special Events they threw the dream day they had been hoping for. The crisp green and white color palette at this gorgeous garden wedding kept things classic, while lush blooms designed by Life In Bloom took the celebration to new heights- literally! Living chandeliers, of greenery and white flowers, were suspended over reception tables for a look guests couldn’t help but love. Kristin La Voie Photography captured every magical moment beautifully in her artful imagery, you can see all the fun in the full gallery.

From Kristin La Voie PhotographyFrom the start of planning, we knew we wanted an outdoor wedding. After visiting venues all around Chicago we fell in love with the beauty and tranquility of the Chicago Botanic Gardens. Considering the natural aesthetic of the venue, we wanted to keep the floral simple and elegant.

We went with whites, neutrals, and greenery to parallel the gardens. Gold pops added elegance to the venue without stealing the show. Our officiant Kelly was a mutual friend of both of ours (unknowingly) before we even met! Kelly was a sorority sister of mine and met Max where she previously worked. It was so special to have her renew our vows and marry us for a second time!

It was so special that we were able to celebrate our first wedding anniversary on the same day as our original wedding. The drinks were flowing, the music was playing, and everyone was having a great time, and despite a forecast that was filled with rain, mother nature cooperated all day! It was everything we dreamed about thanks to our incredible team of vendors!

Early Autumn Winery Wedding Bathed in Golden California Light

After their original wedding celebration was postponed, today’s darling couple finally tied the knot in front of their friends and family on the first anniversary of their legal union – how special is that?! Drawing on the natural beauty of their wedding venue, Chateau St. Jean in Kenwood, CA, the couple chose a playful neutral palette with a hint of moody undertones. Natalie Choi Events brought their wedding day to life, leaving no detail left unturned, while Lambert Floral Studio made our hearts skip a beat with their organic, textural arrangements. See all the can’t miss moment from their day at the full gallery – all taken by Kristine Herman Photography!

From Natalie Choi Events… Joyce & Will were married in the last days of summer leading into fall foliage just starting to turn golden, with Chateau St. Jean the perfect backdrop for their wedding. After postponing their wedding from their originally planned 2020 date, their new wedding date landed on the first anniversary of their legal union.

To complement the natural beauty of late summer-early autumn, we chose a neutral palette with a hint of mood, pulling in luxurious textures such as velvet linens from La Tavola and a modern organic touch with stoneware tabletop rentals from Theoni.

Lambert Floral Studio’s textural floral arrangements celebrated all the best ingredients of the season, from large, lush dahlias to hints of dried grasses. Joyce & Will are two souls who exude so much positivity and glowing joy, the golden tones of their wedding perfectly embody who they are and their love.

Following their ceremony on the lawn with a backdrop of rows of vines and the rolling hills of wine country, guests enjoyed cocktails in the shady Formal Gardens, before rejoining us on the lawn for dinner. Both having been part of a dance crew together, Joyce & Will made sure there was plenty of time for getting down on the dance floor at the end of the night – including a special performance with their parents to Dynamite by BTS.

Modern Chic Garden Wedding Filled With Carefully Curated Details

You can feel the love pouring out of this California wedding! From hand-drawn calligraphy from the bride’s little sisters to custom edible drink toppers this modern chic wedding is all about the special touches. Cara Goset of Everly By MGE designed a day bringing the couple’s wedding vision to life, and Penelope Pots brought the romance to life with some of the most beautiful blooms we’ve ever seen. The joy of the day is artfully captured in the imagery by Amy Golding, see it all in the full gallery.

From Amy GoldingSince the bride grew up in Southern California, she always dreamed of having part of her wedding include the Mission San Juan Capistrano. The couple gifted their guests, all from out of town, with the sweetest welcome bag filled with their favorite treats plus custom mini bottles of “Casa Kearns” tequila named after them.

Bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses of various shades of pink. The bride’s twin little sisters hand calligraphed the escort signage and the welcome sign as a gift to their older sister.

The couple had custom edible drink toppers for their champagne coupes. Honoring their Japanese heritage, the couple displayed 1000 paper cranes that they folded together. Lanterns hung over the wedding party’s table, and the place settings featured a modern chic design with black glassware and sleek brushed silver flatware.

Elevated Modern-Retro Fall Wedding Inspiration In Texas

With thoughtful and intentionally playful details, the whimsy of this inspirational shoot is sure to put a smile on your face. Subtle retro nods, carefully curated by The Venue Studio, beautifully befit the setting of this special day. Varying greenery textures, grasses, and small hints of fall foliage designed by Truth and Blooms create a modern, organic look that we can’t get enough of. Every magical moment was lovingly captured in the imagery by Abbey Leigh Photography, you can watch the full day unfold in the full gallery.

From The Venue StudioI wanted this shoot to embody the wedding venue’s brand through the colors, patterns and fonts that were used. The entire shoot was inspired by the wallpaper designer Morris & Co. that is seen in the staircase leading up to the bridal room. I love how this designer beautifully combines modern and traditional design to create something timeless.

I selected the Morris & Co. Pimpernel pattern to set the tone for the color palette of the shoot. This pattern was used throughout the shoot for fluidity. However, I incorporated the gingham pattern for a pop of color & pattern, that is seen in the venue bridal suite pillows.

This shoot was designed with a bride in mind who isn’t afraid of pattern and color and is willing to incorporate untraditional elements into her special day, like an Oyster bar for guests to enjoy!

Would You Believe Us if We Told You This Was a REAL Wedding?

Get ready to do a double take – because it’s hard to believe this is an actual real wedding. A drop dead gorgeous, statement-sleeve gown, Villa Balbiano, and a firework show to end the night with a bang – I mean, does it get any better? To make it all the more unbelievable,  this Lake Como affair was planned in just two short months! All thanks to the talented team at Happy Moments Collector. Julia Kaptelova Photography was there to capture every last detail, we can’t wait to see our Pinterest feeds filled with magic from today’s full gallery!

From Happy Moments Collector… This wedding was planned in less than 2 months! But we were lucky enough having the couple who were very fast with the decision making and very organized! And we are not mentioning how beautiful and model looking the bride and groom are… When we saw the guests on the wedding day – we literally thought we are having only models around! Young and beautiful! The couple fell in love with villa Balbiano and after the site inspection it was 100% match. Villa itself and amazing gardens overlooking the lake – it can’t leave you without taking the breath away.

For the flowers and decor overall we had 2 different opinions and references from the bride and groom and we needed to find some solution that would work for both parties. Groom tended to something more classical and timeless in white/blush colours and the bride, on the contrary, wanted something more saturated in terms of colours and trendy but at the same time natural looking and elegant. So we decided to merge mostly light colours with some hints of burgundy, navy and golden elements. So at the end we had really elegant garden wedding.

Play of high flower arrangements at some tables and lower arrangements with chandelieres hung above added movement and chic to the table setting. Modern garden furniture added trendy look to the aperitif and dinner area. Dinner was accompanied by sets of the cover band playing famous songs together with the touching speeches from the guests and entertainment from the famous talk show host.

Cutting of the cake was done with the background of the fireworks that added so much romance and festive feeling to the moments that everyone was literally fascinated. And we can’t help mentioning the looks of the bride starting from the morning till the end of the event! The main wedding dress was just out of words! Very stylish and fancy. The second black and white dress that was very elegant and at the same time trendy was fantastic as well. The preparation shoot and the wedding itself were such a blast for all of the team of vendors that we are looking forward to the anniversary of this beautiful couple a lot!

An Intimate Napa Wedding Filled With Endless Possibilities

Here’s proof that you can dream big while going small! Bellevue Floral Co. designed a day to show couple’s and vendors alike that throwing a more intimate wedding doesn’t mean you have to skimp on style. For the ceremony, a wooden arch was adorned in an aesthetic that was impactful and modern, yet soft and romantic. Covering only half of the arch, it was designed with poufs of smokebush that were painted in lavender, alongside plumes of stock, statice, and lush roses. To add an unexpected element, branches of foraged loquat fruit were tucked in throughout. The photoshoot was shot entirely on film by Radostina Boseva. Every photo on film was taken with delicate forethought and intention. You can see all of the beauty and fun in epic detail in the full gallery.

From Radostina BosevaWhen selecting a location and venue, Tre Posti immediately came to our minds. We wanted to highlight an intimate, smaller venue with endless possibilities. The idea of couples indulging in a destination weekend to celebrate their wedding also felt fitting. We knew that Napa Valley would be the perfect region to highlight!

Changing it up from the usual chairs, we opted for modern gray loungers from Seventh Heaven Vintage Rentals. We were careful to space the loungers 6-feet apart to abide by social distancing guidelines. By turning the seats slightly inward, and accenting each one with a lush floral arrangement, the path to the altar feels uniquely special.

The floral design was also an integral aspect of the photoshoot and we went playful and whimsical with our color choices. Rather than traditional ivory and blush, we wanted to encourage couples to consider a palette that was bold and memorable.

From Amanda of A Charleston Bride… It was really important that we highlight and compliment the natural beauty of the property. I gathered inspiration from the colors and landscape at the venue and found ways to bring that beauty inside the tent. Early on in the design process Bailey expressed wanting to showcase the charm of the property such as it’s water view and grand oak trees so finding ways to make those items feel part of the tented reception became a priority. The clear top tent adorned with greenery mimicked the natural greens of the oak trees that sat right out side the tent and the area down by the water just outside the tent was utilized both during cocktail hour and the reception by being host to fun, personal tributes to the couple such as a cigar bar. Overall it was a night that fused the natural beauty of the property with the beautiful love story Bailey and Robert got to share on their wedding day with their dearest family and friends!

From the Bride, Bailey… Robert and I fell in love out of nowhere to be honest. We were introduced by a mutual friend my freshman year of college, Robert’s senior year. Our mutual friend brought him over to my apartment and I briefly said hi to him while getting ready to go out. We didn’t see each other much until about a year after our first meeting, that’s when we really hit it off! Our mutual friend (Thank you Nick) was coming into town. He called me and asked me to meet up with them. It was a classic college love story from there. We met up in a sticky floor bar and hit it off! The next weekend was Valentine’s Day and I wasn’t expecting anything since we had just met, but he surprised me with a customized shirt with a quote I had said the first night we hung out. At that moment I knew he was special but had no idea how special! We didn’t go on a real date for a few weeks and that was all me. I was too nervous to sit across from him at a table so I was too shy to go to some fancy dinner and asked that our first “date” be takeout in front of his TV with his dog. And that’s exactly what we did! From there I fell pretty quickly for him. He’s the most caring and thoughtful person I have ever met. He showed me from day one how special I am to him and he continues to do so every day! About a year and a half later he surprised me with a weekend getaway where he proposed. It was perfect!

On the use of green as central color:

Hunter green is my favorite color. I am a nature lover and I think that’s partially why green is my favorite color. I love how natural it is and I knew it would be a timeless classic look.

On their looks:

I found my dress while scrolling on pinterest in December 2019 a few weeks after Robert proposed. I actually showed a picture of it to my mother-in-law and said “I think this is my dress, but I know I need to keep an open mind!” I didn’t actually go dress shopping until August of the next year but still loved the dress I had saved on Pinterest. I made myself go to a bridal shop that didn’t have my pinterest dress first, just to make myself try others on. But as soon as I put my dress on at our second stop, I knew it was the one. Since my dress was not very busy, I knew I wanted a fun veil. The woman helping me at the bridal shop brought this beautiful veil out with petals and as soon as I put it on I said yes, this is it!

Robert’s green jacket was selected partially by force..Well, not exactly force, but I really wanted him to wear a hunter green jacket. It took a little bit of convincing but eventually he loved the idea. I had such a vision for our wedding in my mind and he had to be in hunter green. We took a color sample of the bridesmaid dresses to Berlins on King and found an exact match. It was so much fun at that point because Robert got to customize his tux jacket which made it so much more special. I knew I wanted something on the collar that tied in the wedding and I mentioned the idea to the specialist at Berlins. He made a bold move and asked the designer to add “Just Married” on the collar and we loved it.

What was your favorite part of the wedding?

This is such a hard question. It’s not one specific thing, but I think one of my favorite parts was how loved Robert and I felt. I am such an easy going person (at least I think so) and I wanted our wedding day to be just that. Every part of that day fell into place perfectly and it could not have been more fun! I loved getting to see all of our family and friends come together and celebrate us in the way they did. And of course, the band!

I still cannot believe how beautiful everything was. My wedding planners at A Charleston Bride made the venue exactly how I envisioned it! I wanted everything to be in shades of green, flowers everywhere, a timeless look, and they did just that.  I cannot brag enough about how amazing the team of people are that helped put together our wedding day! Robert and I loved every moment of that day and want to thank everyone that made it so special for us!

The Gifts Your Newly-Engaged Friend Will Get All the Feels Receiving

When your best friend, sister, close cousin, former roomie, etc. gets engaged, it’s an incredibly exciting time. You might even start saying “We’re getting married!!!” whenever you talk or see them, because let’s be honest, bride vibes are magnetizing. The thing to remember here, though, is that while it’s a seriously momentous occasion for your loved one, there’s a fine line between being enthusiastic and helping to motivate them for the big day and being inadvertently pressuresome or just a tad bit overwhelming in the process. You’ll want to keep things fun, friendly, and supportive, because wedding planning is a beast of an undertaking and they’ll be taking care of the tough stuff already.

Here are just a few ways to show the bride-to-be that you’re her hype squad now and right on through her happily ever after.

Be there for all the tears.

And yes, there will be lots of them. Happy ones. Sad ones. Ones out of frustration. Ones out of elation. If anything happens to make your BFF emotional, then make sure she knows you’re there to cry with her, to blot out the worries, and to help her bounce back (even if that just means grabbing some of her latest obsessions from Sephora, dropping them into a cute new makeup bag for the bride, and hand delivering the haul to her house).

Be her planning champion.

With a wedding on the horizon, she’ll inevitably be hustling before you or she knows it — that’s why you’ll want to get familiar with all the things on her growing to-do list and 1) help her find a way to organize it  2) offer to tag in when/if she needs a break and 3) provide advice only when she asks for it. Planning a wedding can incite commentary, unsolicited opinions, etc. from everyone in the bride and her partner’s lives, so instead of complicating matters, try your best not to bombard her with too many ideas and details that might keep her up at night. Bring the coffee in the morning and remind her that you’re ready and raring to go whenever she is!

Be the maven of bride-perfect-moments.

By that, we mean, wherever/whenever there’s an opportunity to make a moment throughout her engagement even more meaningful and special, be the one who seizes it. So, have a bride tumbler (filled with her favorite spa water) waiting for her at her desk the first Monday morning following her proposal. Whip out a faux bouquet when she’s trying things on at her bridal appointment — you know, for that “oh, there’s the bride” effect. And bring some extra glow to all of her bridal shower, bachelorette, and wedding morning festivities. But first, drinks…

Gifts aren’t necessary, of course, but every bride-to-be appreciates friends making their poised-for-the-aisle  adventure all the more merry. Be sure to shop our totally-curated Style Me Pretty Collection for all the extra sparkle post-proposal!

High School Sweethearts Get Married At A Classic Green And White Wedding

Chic and fresh, what’s not to love about a crisp green and white color palette. For their wedding, high school sweethearts Cameron and Mariana teamed up with We Tie The Knots to bring their vision of a timeless and romantic Atlanta wedding to life. Filled with fabulous touches, floral designs by Andy Beach are both organic and elegant all at once. Madeline Trent beautifully captured all of the happy moments in her artful imagery, see them all in the full gallery.

From Madeline TrentCameron and Mariana are high school sweethearts who were married in a romantic, rain-filled ceremony at the Swan House in Atlanta, Georgia. After getting ready at the nearby St. Regis Hotel, Mariana met her father downstairs and rode with him in a Rolls Royce to the Swan House where Cameron was waiting for her in the gardens for a first look.

After a joy-filled and exciting first look, the couple exchanged personal vows under the willows before taking pictures with their respective wedding parties. When it started to rain they decided to move forward with an outdoor ceremony and all the guests were happy to join them- rain or shine.

The wedding reception was a fun-filled evening with a live band, rose petal send-off, and goodnight kiss in front of family and friends before setting off to St. Lucia for their honeymoon!

This California Wedding Paid Homage to the Couple’s East Coast Roots

You can’t go wrong with an east coast meets west coast wedding design – it’s truly the best of both worlds! Just take it from today’s gorgeous couple who tied the knot at Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma, CA. From sophisticated Nantucket-inspired fashion and fare, to airy northern california blooms and al fresco reception… together alongside CMG Weddings & Events and Flower Girl Em, the darling duo pulled off their dream wedding day, paying homage to both their West Coast venue and East Coast roots that proves it truly is all in the details. Don’t forget to check out the full gallery of inspiration captured by Rebecca Theresa Photography before you go!

They say sometimes Plan B is better than Plan A – and that’s exactly what happened when Juliana and Michael had to switch their wedding venues (and thus, wedding design), due to COVID-19. This June Sonoma wedding took full advantage of the grounds being in full bloom, and the couple incorporated their East Coast roots throughout the day for the perfect East-Meets-West Coast design! Sophisticated East Coast Nantucket vibes flowed through classic wedding fashion, a specialty cocktail hour featuring Hog Island Oysters shucked on site, and chic blue tones in the reception decor. Airy Northern California nods came into the design via Juliana’s lush organic bouquet, a dreamy al fresco reception dinner under thousands of twinkling lights, and a wine country-appropriate large scale champagne escort wall. This affair was perfectly balanced between the couple’s roots and their venue choice, creating the most beautiful garden fête!

From CMG Weddings & Events… Due to Covid, Juliana and Michael had to switch venues, and thus they had to redesign their wedding as well. But as they say, sometimes Plan B is better than Plan A and that sure was the case here.

The wedding took place at Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma, CA. Taking place in June, the grounds were in full bloom and CMG Events decided to bring the garden to life in their designs. The ceremony took place on the pond lawn. They selected the garden Mimi chairs from Encore Event Rentals and Flower Girl Em flowered the most beautiful arch and adorned the back of the aisle with growing floral arrangements.

Cocktail Hour was held around the Cornerstone Barn. Cocktail hour featured Hog Island Oyster who shucked oysters on site, a nod at the couple’s East Coast roots. The decided on a cheeky sign that read “It’s about Shucking Time” as a tribute to their postponed wedding. Cocktail Hour also featured adorable custom signage featuring their cats by Roseville Designs and lounge furniture from Encore Event Rentals.

After cocktail hour, guests were invited to the beautiful reception tent on the property. Guests were welcomed with a large scale champagne wall from Luxe Event Rentals, which acted as their escort card and told them what table they were seated at. Guests ooh and ahhed over the display and even took pictures with it as a backdrop. For the dining tables they did an exposed wood table for the head table and dining rounds for guests. They also did garden inspired florals and taper candles. Each guest had a menu with their name attached, acting as their place card, and the color of the name tag represented their meal selection for the catering staff. Beautiful and functional!

Juliana and Michael danced the night away back in the barn under a sea of twinkle lights and chandeliers from Twilight Designs. Though a long journey to their day, well worth it!

A Summer Private Estate Wedding In Beautiful Blue And White

For Kate and Kyle, the fifth time is the charm. This resilient and gracious couple had to reschedule their wedding day five times due to the pandemic, but once the special day finally came to fruition with the help of the planning team Bridal Bliss it was one for the books. The wedding was styled in tones of medium to dark blue and crisp clean white with greens mixed into the artful floral designs by Blum Floral. The love of the day shines in the elegant imagery by Amanda K. Photography, you can see every special detail unfold in the full gallery.

From Amanda K. PhotographyThe ceremony was held on an expansive lawn of a private estate, with one of the longest aisles I have ever seen. It was truly out of a storybook as Kate walked down with her emotional father, Mark! The bride’s brother, John, officiated the ceremony and was as sweet as he was humorous.

Post-ceremony guests were greeted to yet another English garden on the property with cocktails, a seafood station, and delicious appetizers. On the way to the reception they received table assignments from an escort wall and were seated for dinner.

A leafy print inspired by the bride’s Mira Zwillinger gown was used to create a custom monogram, and it was found on the bar facade, all printed items, and even the cake which was sitting on a table filled with florals. Tables were filled with lush florals, elegant La Tavola linens, and even personal crystal salt cellars. No detail was overlooked from a floral-filled stage facade to personalized menus, to branded water bottles.

Old Botanical Garden Editorial Inspired By Impressionists’ Paintings

This romantic, Monet inspired editorial at Old Botanical Garden is filled with charming details. The beauty of nature took center stage in the well-thought out touches by Happy Doll Wedding, from the bridal morning with a big straw hat and a basket full of delphiniums, as if the bride had just been foraging for her bouquet, to an artful cake by Evelina Melnikova that seemed to sit atop an organic growing garden. Tatyana Chaiko artfully captured the intimate and artistic atmosphere in her exceptional imagery. Get inspired by all the beauty in the full gallery.

From Tatyana Chaiko… With this editorial we wanted to pay tribute to those old forgotten locations, which might be not so festive and glorious as big villas, chateaus etc, but still have their own unique charm… When Nathalie from HappyDollWeddings and I first came to this Old Botanical Garden we were mesmerized by its atmosphere – untouched and even wild. How great would it be to capture a story here and to inspire couples to widen their choice of venues, we thought.

Thinking of the starting point for our shooting we both remembered the paintings of Claude Monet and other impressionists – with lots of flowers and the most beautiful shades and tones of nature, and with this nostalgic mood. This is when we decided it would be table setting for an intimate dinner with variety of seasonal flowers, which included hydrangea, delphinium, dahlia and others. These flowers also were used in tiny details such as boutonnieres – which were individually made representing each separate flower in it.

When it came to bride & groom outfits we decided to go even more creative. Bridal morning with a big straw hat, decorated with flowers (of course), and a basket full of delphiniums – as if the bride has just been foraging for her bouquet; Nightgown with sheer bolero and bell-sleeves; and palm-grove near the old greenhouse as a location. Then came the cocktail hour for which we chose another piece of art dress created by Cathy Telle – with fluffy sleeves, which can be taken off leaving light elegant underdress. For the groom’s style we decided to go a bit retro instead of black tie – to add a bit of a nostalgic note to the whole atmosphere. And when it came to the main reception look – there was nothing better to represent it but long classic white dress with poofy bell sleeves elegantly opening the shoulders and beautiful decollete of the bride. The shoes by BellaBelle with gentle floral embroidery were chosen to rhyme with floral theme. Hair style went from natural wavy look to classic but still super-natural buns, created by Ira Sizikova. Beautiful handmade accessories by Mary Eysmont completed the look perfectly.

To create intimate and artistic atmosphere, we lightened up the candles on the table, richly decorated with the variety of blush, orange, creamy and violet-blue flowers, and made a beautiful natur-morte art out of cake, which was served on a “pillow” of greenery, flowers and even seasonal fruits and berries. The beautiful stationery set by Anna Tsymbal was made in dusty blue tones – inspired by the delphinium flower.

Can you only imagine raising a glass of rosè on a quiet summer night celebrating your love and sharing these precious moments with your beloved? Yes, we agree!.. Magic!
