A Glamorous Texas Wedding With An 8-Foot Floral Arch

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The wedding colors were black, white, blush, with touches of French blue.

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

This couple’s opulent wedding at The Knotting Hill Place was guest centric and intimate. Stunning long tables with tall candlelight votives placed carefully along the head tables. All of the florals from Wedfully Yours were selected with a beautiful lush aesthetic in mind.

Lexi’s dress from designer Rime Arodaky featured fashion forward 3D floral that inspired the cake design by Baker Mama – we love some intricate cake designs. The reception featured a white high neck beaded dress as an outfit change for the bride, the couples’ matching Air Jordans for dancing, and suspenders and t-shirt change giving a subtle nod to Jackson’s military pilot occupation.

[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]

Lexi opted for the bridesmaids to pick their style of black bridesmaid dresses that flattered all shapes and sizes.

[field title=”Groomsman Attire”]

All the guys cleaned up nicely from their military attire into traditional black and white suites. Jackson’s tux from The Black Tux featured a classic black bow tie with silk lapels.

Who can say no to the good old late night Texan Whataburger snack and an open bar? This couple spared no expense when it came to entertaining their guests with food and drink.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The ceremony featured a burst of floral along the aisle and an incredible eight-foot flower arch adorned with roses, carnations and hydrangea, creating the perfect backdrop for the ‘I Do’s’.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

Baker Mama was inspired by the incredible detail in our brides dress and hand created 3D floral to adorn their wedding cake. And of course, with the absence of their pup – Lexi and Jackson added a small detail to honor their little furbabe.

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

The reception was absolutely jumpin with DJ Tr3Matic (the hottest in DFW) kicking it off with hip hop and R&B (the favorite genre by Bride & Groom). When the drinks started flowing, the party hats came out and so did the many personalities on the dance floor. Even Jacksons granny stepped out to celebrate!

This Major League Baseball Player Hits A Home Run By Marrying His College Sweetheart

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The wedding colors were white, cream, and khaki.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

A hurricane may have blown through just a few short weeks before the wedding causing a need for a last minute venue change- but nothing could stop these two college sweethearts from saying their I do’s in a soft yet modern celebration at The Ritz Carlton Sarasota in Sarasota, Florida. With baseball season about to gear up again for the groom-to-be, there was no time to waste! When Tori set out to plan her wedding, she knew she didn’t want to be a “typical bride”. From live acrobats at cocktail hour, walking down her aisle before the bridesmaids (think “crazy rich asians wedding scene” inspired), and boldly choosing modern reception florals instead of the typical “tropical beach” theme- she accomplished what she set out to do.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

From the bride… Brady asked me to marry him on the top of a mountain at a beautiful location at Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri. It was pouring rain, and he fell in the pool when we were trying to take pictures! He was supposed to ask me outside, but with the weather he ended up asking me inside of a cute little chapel in front of a large wooden cross. After I said yes, our families were there to surprise and support us, and it was perfect, even if everything didn’t go to his exact plan!

This well-styled wedding by NK Productions Wedding Planning is sure to inspire, starting with a Mariana Hardwick wedding gown; a classic silhouette accentuated by sky-high slit. The “Chantelle Gown” features a full, billowing skirt with dramatic train, and elegantly draped fabric with accentuated peaks at the neckline. For the reception, the bride changed into a Blush by Francesca Avila Ivory Marrakesh beaded fit to flare gown, featuring the perfect amount of sparkle to catch the lights on the dance floor and she twirled the night away with her new husband.

[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]Sleek satin scoop-necked champagne gowns looked gorgeous on this crew of bridesmaids- especially in the sunlight as they spread out to make way for Tori before she strutted solo down the aisle, an inspiration she pulled from the movie Crazy Rich Asians. [/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]

You certainly can’t go wrong with a meal at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota! This waterfront venue provided Tori and Brady’s guests with a scrumptious surf and turf dinner featuring both pan seared filet mignon and king salmon. In terms of drinks, we loved that Tori’s bridesmaids all toasted a shot of Tori’s favorite (tequila of course) to calm those pre-ceremony nerves.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

Industry talent from southwest Florida came together in the wake of a tragic storm to make absolute magic. This well-styled ceremony by Isn’t She Lovely Florals featured hundreds of simple yet lush white roses and orchids that beautifully framed the beach views behind where the couple said I do. Tori opted for her bridesmaids “bouquets” to not be bouquets at all, and requested her friends carry just a few long stemmed roses so as to not distract for their sleek gowns. Pivoting for dinner, Isn’t She Lovely Florals managed to take a classic white rose and put it on its head, featuring hundreds of single stems in individual vases to give this reception a modern twist.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

Deciding to forego the traditional wedding cake, Tori and Brady opted to get the party started by popping some Veuve and pouring a champagne tower for their nearest and nearest.

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Accompanied by a harpist, Tori walked down the aisle to “Can’t help falling in love” by Elvis Presley. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]No boring acoustic guitar at this cocktail hour- Tori decided to hire aerialists from Cirque Vertigo to dazzle guests as they sipped on bubbles pre-reception. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

Custom dance floor lighting by alpha lit tampa provided luminous dance floor ambiance and the perfect backdrop for dance floor guest selfies.

A Mediterranean Inspired Wedding in the Hamptons at Wolffer Estate Vineyard

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Green, ivory, peach, coral, rose, yellow, blue, citrus.[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]When planning their wedding, Chelsea and Dennis knew that they wanted to get married somewhere outdoors as they are both avid lovers of nature. They also wanted a place which could be a fun destination for their guests to visit from near and far. Chelsea’s family has a home in East Hampton, and Chelsea and Dennis love to spend time there year round visiting the beach, fishing and biking. They decided the perfect venue which incorporated all of their desires would be Wolffer Estate, a place where they had spent many leisurely summer nights drinking wine in the vineyard.
Chelsea planned the wedding with the help of her mother Joan. When creating her stylistic vision for the big day, she was inspired by the Mediterranean.

The couple had a Jewish ceremony in the vineyard, officiated by Rabbi Stein of the Jewish Center of the Hamptons. The couple walked up the aisle to one of their favorite songs, “Better Together” by Jack Johnson, and shared their own personal vows with one another. 160 guests were in attendance, who came from all over the world including Germany, across the US and even Australia.

Chelsea and Dennis could not have imagined a more perfect evening. While there were moments leading up to the wedding, it was so rewarding to see everything come together as they had envisioned. After a challenging but prosperous two years, they felt very lucky to spend a beautiful evening surrounded by their closest friends and family. [/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Dennis and Chelsea met by chance in January 2017 at a bar called “Time” in Philadelphia. Chelsea was there for one night only visiting a friend from college. Dennis had just arrived one week earlier from Germany to begin a semester as a visiting researcher. When Chelsea saw Dennis standing alone and looking a bit lost, she approached him and introduced herself. They hit it off, and she told him “If you’re ever in NYC, let me know”. He came to visit the next weekend!

After 5 months of dating between Philly and New York, Dennis moved back to Germany to finish his masters program. Chelsea and Dennis continued their romance visiting one another from abroad, and meeting up “in the middle ” for ski trips in Austria and Whistler. In April 2018, Dennis moved back to the US and the couple has lived together in NYC ever since.

Chelsea and Dennis got engaged in November 2020. Dennis proposed with a very romantic surprise. He told Chelsea they were going to lunch in town, but instead drove her to the airport where a helicopter was waiting. The helicopter took a scenic flight over Chelsea’s family’s home and then landed on Block Island, RI. With the gorgeous Mohegan bluffs towering above them, he proposed at the foot of the 140 steps leading down to the beach. As it was November, they had the beach to themselves! They had a lovely picnic drinking gluvein and watching the waves crash before flying back to Long Island in time to catch a perfect sunset from above. [/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Cocktail hour consisted of a delicious variety of some local favorites including mini lobster rolls, fish tacos and oysters, his and hers specialty cocktails, and wines cultivated on site at Wölffer Estate. Dinner was a beautiful three-course meal served in an intimate farm-table setting. [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]For florals, the bride chose to use coral, peach and citrus tones to evoke the sweet beginning of summer, and serve as a complement to the blue and white decor.
The main estate building at Wolffer is yellow with blue shutters, and it reminded Chelsea of a relaxed summer in Tuscany. In order to make the decor feel airy and light, Chelsea chose to incorporate hanging basket lighting inspired by a trip to the Cyclades in Greece. She sourced hand-painted blue and white tiles which were used as place settings for guests. Blue candle sticks were paired with white matte ceramic candle holders, a representation of the white stucco buildings Greece is known for. As a favor, the couple gave mini bottles of limoncello inscribed with “Salute”, a nod to Chelsea’s Italian heritage. [/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The wedding cake was a delicious meyer lemon cake with lemon cream, lemon curd, and lemon buttercream frosting. It was decorated with beautiful hand-cut florals and served with fresh berries, almond biscotti and whipped cream.[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Hank Lane Music (Steve Delisi Band) could not have been a more perfect compliment to the night with their incredibly contagious energy and talent. Chelsea and Dennis kicked off the dancing with the sweetest choreographed first dance to Frankie Vallie’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”. The evening went by quickly and was filled with endless dancing on the floor. Later in the night, Chelsea’s parents, who were also married in June, shared a lovely dance to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.[/field]

Lavender Romance at Twin Oaks Golf Course Complete With Equestrian Details

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”The Inspiration”]Spring, horses and short haired brides were the inspiration. We wanted to do something colorful for spring. When I was looking for inspiration I thought about what was around us. There’s a lot of stables by the wedding venue. The horse then inspired the place card design and we used that design though out the whole wedding. The horse then gave me a story line of putting a wedding together for a couple who met at the stables. Most brides have long hair or those who have short hair feel like they need to get extensions on their wedding day and I just felt that we needed to represent the short haired brides. [/field]

[field title=”Favorite Design Element”]The fabric place cards with the custom horse graphic design. This graphic was then used on the wedding cake and the dance floor was custom wrapped in this design as well. We also used pearls as a fun detail. You will see the pearls in the brides hair, in the Chanel sunglasses, Jimmy Choo shoes and the napkin rings![/field]
[field title=”Tips To Pull Off The Look”]When getting inspiration for a look you will get a million ideas. You will often like something that could be boho, glam or maybe something minimalist. When you like things from different styles it is important to marry them all together to get a cohesive look and remembering that all these things don’t have to stand out in big moments. Just because something is subtle doesn’t mean it doesn’t show in big ways. It’s good to find that balance. Find inspiration on how you met as a couple and find inspiration on what you like as a couple. This will make your design unique to you and your guests can really experience you as a couple for the day.[/field]

A Chic Destination Wedding at Villa Aurelia in Rome

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Ivory, white, mauve, blush pink, a touch of greenery, gold[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]The couple’s chic and elegant summer garden wedding was characterized by a sophisticated aesthetic. The overall vibe exudes refinement and is polished and timeless, with an emphasis on establishing a luxurious atmosphere for the wedding day.[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Bride’s Comment: “In 2015, I saw photos of a wedding in a castle in Florence planned by Elia (Moretti Events). It was the most beautiful wedding I had ever seen. There and then I decided that if I ever get married then it absolutely has to be in Italy. Fast-forward to 2019 and Sagar and I get engaged. There were no doubts in my mind that this wedding was going to be in that same castle in Italy and Elia would plan it – we didn’t even look anywhere else. It turned out that the same castle in Florence was also where Sagar’s cousin got married some time ago (what a coincidence!) but it was under renovation until 2022 and we didn’t want to wait that long to get married, which was rather ironic in hindsight. We ended up finding an even better venue in Rome and booked based on online photos and no site visit! Italy has an abundance of wedding venues and we truly picked the best one for us and our style.

I remember feeling quite emotional seeing it all come together after 3 years of waiting and planning. Sitting there and eating dinner as the sun was setting, the candles were burning and the band was playing the songs we carefully picked was magical. I honestly had a few moments where I couldn’t believe this was actually our wedding and not a dream. After two cancellations I couldn’t believe this was happening and how good it turned out. This was one of those rare times in life where reality exceeded expectations (and I always have very high expectations)![/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]A snack bar was accompanied by an exquisite, antique sculpture. Round cocktail tables and wicker table sets, decorated with neutral blooms, were placed throughout the garden for guests to enjoy a chic and graceful aperitif. The dinner reception was decorated with round white linen tables with silver cutlery, crystal glasses, and white porcelain underplates with dusty pink napkins. From pink-toned and ivory blooms, rose-filled centerpieces, and ceremony arch, to pink and gold tablescape decor and greenery, the wedding was filled with a whimsical and stylish feel.[/field]

[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]The couple chose a romantic ceremony entrance song with Ludovico’s “Experience” and a celebratory exit song with Jagged Edge’s “Let’s Get Married”. The ceremony music included classic love songs such as “Can’t Help Falling in love”, “Thinking out Loud”, “All of Me”, “A Thousand Years”, and “Ave Maria”. The celebratory afternoon aperitif and reception were accompanied by a lively band, The Popinjays Sax band, whose performance created a festive atmosphere for the couple and guests to enjoy. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Bride’s comments about the first look with the groom: “The first look was very special. We did it for practical reasons so that we could squeeze in some photo time before the wedding and enjoy more of the aperitif but it actually ended up being such a great experience. I just remember walking up behind Sagar and being quite nervous. He turned around and looked very handsome. He was absolutely ecstatic to see me and loved my dress. I picked the dress in 2019 (originally for a 2020 wedding) and that dress just sat in my closet for years waiting to be seen! It was a nice moment with just the two of us that got us really excited right before the ceremony. I would recommend that everyone does a first look as it’s such a special and intimate moment.”[/field]

Bright Fuchsia Blooms and a Supermoon Made for One Epic Greek Wedding!

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The fuchsia and pink color palette created a contrast with the dark blue sky and the overall blue details of the wedding as well as the bridesmaids dresses while achieving a classic mediterranean vibe.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]
If we could catch the moon for them we would! However we had to settle for the ultimate full moon wedding.

The 13th July 2022 Supermoon was just rising behind a subtle layer of clouds. As you can imagine, the largest full moon of the year was beside Brynn and Steve, the focal point of the wedding.

From the unique wedding invitations, to the seating chart, everything was inspired by this extraordinary lighted up sky.

Of course, we could not leave aside Steve’s Greek roots so this “ Big fat Greek Wedding” had something of the “Mama Mia” flair that took everyone on a trip to Skopelos.
[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]According to the newlyweds, after a weekend bouncing around beaches and day parties in Montauk, the stars aligned for them to accidentally meet again, twice.
In typical Greek fashion, Steve had to go to his mother’s island of Evia for business related reasons, where he planned a romantic picnic with delicious charcuterie boards curated from an artisanal delicatessen. During a beautiful sunset over the rolling hills, Steve got down on one knee and popped the question.

In that moment, they both knew that spending the rest of their lives together would be the best decision they would ever make!

The vegan and vegetarian menu were carefully curated to satisfy everyone.

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]A gorgeous, rich and colorful climbing garland decorated the quaint church where the ceremony took place. The choice of flowers created the picture perfect contrast we loved!

Modern English Garden Inspired Editorial at Villa Montalvo

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”The Inspiration”]

The main inspiration for this styled shoot came from the idea of an English garden wedding with modern touches. We wanted to modernize this idea by bringing in more vibrant colors to a setting that is often seen as being more muted in the winter. An English garden meets modernized setting that combines the traditional touches with modern elements of a contemporary setting that will give couples and guest a vibrant, fun, luxe, and romantic atmosphere. This took place during the end of the winter season, so wanted to showcase that the California sun can bring that warmth and romance to our couple’s wedding even during the winter times.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]We chose to use a variety of bright colors, including pink, purple, and blue, but also keeping the palette soft and romantic. In addition, we added some pops of green and orange to create a more vibrant and eye-catching look.[/field]
[field title=”The Venue”]This iconic wedding venue in Northern California speaks for itself and the beautiful architecture and garden are a perfect backdrop for our designs, and we were excited to bring the place to life with our vibrant colors, floral prints, and textures.[/field]

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]While being at this iconic and luxe venue, of course we had to choose a breathtaking gown to go with it for our bride. I wanted a gown that would truly make a statement in any space she walks into with a color palette that compliments the garden setting perfectly. A long, luscious train is the perfect way to make a statement and set the tone for a night you’ll always remember.[/field]

When designing the flowers for the Modern English Garden Photoshoot, we selected flowers with different textures to create an organic garden atmosphere as well as blooms with lots of ruffles for a romantic touch. The aisle and altar installation feature the seasonal cherry blossom branches and mimosa flowers that bring together a warm spring feeling with the bright yet soft color palette. For the bride bouquet, we selected delicate blooms with a softer hue to compliment the bridal gown as well as the model- Lorianna Sacha Bland’s fair features. The reception flowers have the softer pastels brought together with the brighter colors to captivate the guests attention in the lush -yet not overpowering, table detailing of the unique blooms used.

[field title=”Favorite Design Element”]After vows are exchanges, there’s no better way to celebrate than with a nice and refreshing cocktail! The details you put into your signature cocktail display at cocktail hour will really set the mood for this phase of the festivities for your guests. We played with different heights for our cocktail glasses that we felt fit well with type of drink being served along with a few edible floral garnishes. Adding a vintage tray and floral backdrop brought a visually stunning display that tied everything all together.[/field]

Classic Elegance at Fountainview Mansion With Garden Vibes

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

An upscale all-white look with black and gold accents

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Being from the south, I did not want a southern wedding at all! I wanted something that was very classic, timeless and stood out from everybody else’s wedding in Alabama! We went with a very Italian/French garden vibe as our theme, so everything was very modern, very polished and nothing was rustic or traditional.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

My favorite place in the entire world is Cheekwood botanical park in Nashville, Tennessee. We always loved being there and one weekend I planned a business trip to go up to Nashville and my brother and now sister-in-law wanted to come with us! I didn’t think anything of it because my parents were back at home and he knew that I wanted my family to be there when he proposed! So we spent the day walking around Nashville, doing the scooters and all of the little things you do in Nashville, and I could tell that he was super nervous the entire day, but my sister-in-law and brother didn’t seem like anything was different! So we go to Cheekwood and as we’re walking around, I keep noticing that he is super nervous! I heard my brother say, “Blake, can I borrow the camera?” So I thought he was going to try to take photos and when we got to the bottom of the wishing well, I saw this entire layout and realized that he was proposing to me! When he got down on one knee, he asked me to marry him and the first thing I said to him was are you sure? We laughed and cried and I said yes! I heard a ton of people cheering and when I look back, it was my childhood best friend, my parents, and also our family friend who also is a videographer! So, he got the entire thing on video and in photos!

[field title=”Wedding Gown”]

Again, I did not want anything to look very southern! The only thing that I wanted to be southern was the size of my hair and curls! I personally had three different outfits for the day, and in total had five outfit changes between my rehearsal dinner and my leaving exit! For the rehearsal, I wore a two-piece Giovani set with a rhinestone crop top and white flare pants. For the rehearsal dinner, I wore an ASHLEYlauren one-shouldered ruffle white jumpsuit. My ceremony dress was a huge, and I mean huge, white ball gown with a sweetheart neckline and 1 million sparkles that followed me everywhere! My second gown was originally made for an Atlanta housewife for the show and an event in 2020 but it got canceled! It was definitely a party dress. It was a bodysuit with a skirt overlay with a corset top draping and sleeves that were off shoulder! I wore it with Jimmy Choo‘s that looked perfect! My entire branding is pink, so to leave our wedding, I switched again into an all pink sequin blazer set with a party pony and my wedding shoes which were pink Manolo Blahniks.

[/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bridesmaids wore a light champagne/gold silk satin dress with a slit to make it easier to dance in! [/field]

Guests loved starting the evening with passed hors d’oeuvres included shrimp cocktail in martini glasses and grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters and finishing up with late night pizza. The two signature cocktails included the Tiny Tequila (cranberry syrup, grapefruit juice, lime juice and tequila) and the OVO Classic (orange Half Wheel, orange bitters, smoked peach puree, orange rind and bourbon).

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

It was all about understated elegance with an all-white look. The ceremony space achieved this vision by completely draping off the space in crisp white fabric. Chandeliers lit the way down the aisle, which was also made white with flooring. The aisle was lined with lush white blooms at the end of each row of gold chivari chairs. More arrangements would be carried through to the altar, adorning the all white asymmetrical backdrop that was a fun modern touch. The reception featured more white draping and chandeliers amongst hanging floral arrangements cascading down. A huge white bar surrounded by several different lounge seating areas was at one end of the reception space and the stage was at the other with a white dance floor in the center. Guests would enjoy dinner on the lawn of the mansion before heading in and snagging a cozy spot in one of the beautiful seating areas or having fun on the dance floor.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

Sonshine Cakes made a stunning 6 tier all white classic wedding cake that was then adorned and topped with florals.

[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]

My brother got ordained specifically for our wedding! Blake and I are currently not a part of a church, but are very very strong and our faith and we really wanted somebody to marry us who was a part of our relationship from the beginning!

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]

My favorite part of my wedding was the fact that Blake and I did not see each other nor talk to each other the entire day until the moment I walked down the aisle! It was something I always wanted to do – and knew that people do first looks all the time, but I wanted it to be so emotional, so raw and real when we saw each other!

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

Another favorite part of the day was to see everybody’s reactions and the emotion that everybody felt! From my bridesmaids seeing me for the very first time in my dress, which by the way nobody had seen my dress but me and my mom and my sister-in-law, to seeing my mom‘s reaction, my dad‘s reaction, my little brother‘s reaction (which was the best), and of course my husband Blake’s reaction!

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]Another one of my favorite parts and something that I think people always remember is that instead of glow sticks we actually did money guns and shot fake money out of the money guns! The first time we did it, everybody thought it was real and freaked out and looked for it the entire time! We did have a friend that was a little overserved and he put $400 of his own money in one of the money guns and shot it out into the crowd hahaha,[/field]

A Fashion Forward Spring Soiree in Wine Country With an Edge

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The colors we went with were moodier, muted Spring colors of pinks, blues, greens, and purple. [/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

The overall design vibe was an edgier, fashion forward Spring Soiree in wine country. All the guests traveled from around the country to come to wine country. When couples say they want to dine in the vines, it doesn’t really get much better than this. Staying true to the Bride’s fashion forward self, her dress was a major inspiration point for the overall design. So we mixed the laid back nature of an outdoor California wedding and paired it with some edgier, avant garde moments in the floral and reception design.

[field title=”Food & Drink”]One of the things couples love about hosting their wedding in wine country, is the fresh, local ingredients that can be used. Montage’s exquisite seasonal cuisine never disappoints. [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]While we wanted to emphasize the Bride’s editorial chic look, we also wanted to keep the design authentic to the location. So by incorporating in season beautiful floral that felt like it was a part of the surroundings was important. But instead of a traditional pastel color palette for Spring, we went with muted, cooler tones to keep that environment modern, yet natural. [/field]

One of the highlights included quail with smoked chantilly served with puffed buckwheat and a black truffle and potato purée.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]Wedding day blooms included spray roses, dianthus, butterfly
ranunculus, lysianthus, tulips… and seasonal foliage in green
and autumnal colors.

On the château’s marble staircase, ivory pillar candles sat atop wooden candleholders to create a cozy backdrop for the couple’s first look.

The asymetric ceremony arch was complimented by floral and foliage as if growing from
the Chapel’s staircase.

To highlight the château’s gorgeous fireplace, an incredible floral installation was be created on the the mantle. Candles were added on the top of the mantel and inside the hearth in order to create a cosy backdrop for the couple’s dinner for 2!

In keeping with the season of the wedding, warm textures were brought in to compliment the table top. A custom velvet tablecloth, gold and lace detail on the plates, patterned etched glass stemware and patchwork napkins added an extra dimension of warmth![/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]The couple had not one but 2 flavors of signature wedding cake! Strawberry, basil & balsamic and vanilla spiced apple cake topped off the day. The bespoke design was inspired by the couple’s intricate stationery design.

Two tiers, that look like they have been elegantly wrapped in beige handmade paper. On the top tier, the couple’s signature crest was incorporated in 3D to add some depth to the design!

To finish, a circular “arch-like” arrangement of sugar flowers was also adorned to the top tier. [/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]As a thoughtful surprise during the ceremony, the couple had each of their children write their heartfelt wedding wishes ahead of time. When the celebrant read them aloud during the ceremony, there wasn’t a dry eye in the château! [/field]

An Enchanting Florence Wedding Filled With Elegance

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The wedding was defined with green, black and cream color details, a perfect mise en place enriched with wonderful stationery details. .

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

Olivia and Stephanie planned every single detail of that table, from the chairs inspired by Parisian restaurants, to the Oriente Italiano Ginori hand painted green plates, the elegant glassware and with the help of Shhh My Darling the perfect menu card was created. Shhh My Darling‘s motto was “If you can’t beat them, join them”. The artwork was drawn with the design and the colors from the plate theme and shaped into a traditional Oriental fan, embellished with a dark green tassel. The result is a non-invasive item, elegant and cohesive to the table. Lots of candles and refined brass abat-jour were the main light on the table which created a totally intimate and romantic atmosphere with the Villa facade as a backdrop and the view of Florence framing the whole terrace where the dinner took place.

[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]

This is the story of two physicians who were meant to choose each other forever. Mutual friends, who organized their first rendez-vous, thought that they were perfect for each other.. and guess what? They were totally right about it! Also Stephanie and Justin knew for the very beginning, there was something between them and from that moment they were never apart again. After Stephanie’s final residency year, they flew to Europe for a grand tour of celebration, starting from Copenhagen. The first part of their trip was planned by both of them but the second one was Justin’s surprise for Stephanie. Summer time, Europe, everything was magical and Justin’s plan was even more magical. They ended up in the city of love: Paris. It was the day of the liberation of the Bastille and Justin booked a super nice hotel for them, in central Paris, with a cute little balcony where they could see everything from the famous parisian roofs. While Paris was already celebrating, Justin decided that there was no more suitable place and time than that: it was THE moment. He kneeled down and proposed to Stephanie on the romantic little balcony framed by the sparkling light of Paris. The answer was of course YES! It was meant to be! They walked all night in Paris’s streets celebrating the Bastille and their love, kissing and dancing in front of Montmartre church watching the superb fireworks. Isn’t it a romantic story?

The dinner took place at the sunset hour with an orange gold light highlighting the decorations of their long table. Italian simple and delicious courses delighted the guests. The couple made their entrance encased by a cloud of white rose petals thrown from above, a little surprise from their closest friends.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The ceremony was planned inside the green-washed limonaia where Jardin Divers built a stunning broken arch of greenery and white flowers perfectly matching the allure of the Limonia’s walls to frame the couple while they renewed their vows in front of their beloved ones. The ceremony was short but full of joy, emotions, tears and laughter. After the ceremony, the altar decor became the perfect spot for a photo booth – the girls loved it!

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]Once dinner was over, they all got up to watch the cake cut, later followed by the surprise fireworks show that marked their love, just as they did in Paris.

Travel Essentials for the Sustainable Couple

There will probably never be a time in your life so full of travel (at least fun travel). There’s the engagement party, the showers, the bach parties, venue scouting trips, the wedding itself, and of course, the honeymoon. If you haven’t already, make sure to register for rewards with your fave airline because you’re about to rack up a whole lotta mileage. And while we are still pretty dependent on airlines for travel (not the most eco-friendly transportation method), there are some travel-friendly changes that you can make to reduce your carbon footprint. Here are a few of our favorite travel-day essentials for the sustainable couple. Who knows, you may even find the perfect wedding favor or bridal party gift on this list too.

Photo | Steamline Luggage

Refillable Bottle

If you’re reading this, then this isn’t your first rodeo. You’ve got your goto stainless steel water bottle. So we thought we’d find something a little unique to recommend and we came across this little beauty. It’s a collapsable silicon bottle that’s safe for both hot and cold bevs. So not only can you fill it up with water while you’re at the airport, but you can also top it off with your latte of choice before you take off. Then, just collapse it and throw it in your bag and you’re ready to go. Oh, and it’s dishwasher safe which is always a win in our book!

Photo | Amazon

Shampoo + Conditioner Bars

We had to look this up because it was so obvious, yet so devastating to think about. Millions, literally millions of the mini shampoo and conditioner bottles at hotels get thrown away EVERY DAY. So, be part of the solution by telling the hotel that you won’t need the complementary toiletries and bring your own instead. Not only will a shampoo and conditioner bar last longer than the liquid in the bottles, it’s easier and safer to travel with. And we know you’re thinking it, but yes, they actually work and work well! You didn’t spend all that time and money gettting your hair wedding-ready to mess it up now. This shampoo and conditioner bar set by Peach is formulated to restore scalp health and deeply moisturize your locks. It restores shine without weighing your hair down, so you can still get all that volume.

Portable Perfume Atomizer

Yes, you totally can (and should) pack your wedding day perfume bottle with you for your wedding. We may be a little partial, but it looks so good in photos! But, for all of those other events before and after the big day may we recommend the carry-on friendly alternative to a giant bottle of perfume or a disposable mini-version, the portable perfume atomizer. There are a ton of different options out there, but this one is cute and super affordable. With these babies, you can transfer your favorite perfume to this tiny bottle that can easily fit in your TSA-approved liquids bag.

Photo | Amazon

Toothpaste Tablets

Like other typically plastic-contained hygiene products, discarded toothpaste tubes pile up in landfills too. Perfect for travel, these toothpaste tablets are dry, so they don’t take up any space in your liquids bag and you don’t have to worry about them exploding all over your clothes–WIN WIN! This is probably what most toothpastes will look like in the near future so there are new brands popping up every day. These fresh mint charcoal toothpaste tablets by Bite come in a refillable glass jar. They’ll leave your mouth feeling fresh and will even help whiten your teeth for the big day.

Sustainable Suitcase

A lot of couples decide to invest in suitcases right around the time of their wedding. Maybe it’s a coincidence or maybe it’s because of all of the traveling that weddings entail. Whatever the reason, there are a few sustainable (and attractive) suitcase brands on the market. We are obsessed with Roam. Firstly because they are a sustainable brand–their hard-shell suitcases are made from recycled and eco-friendly materials. And mostly because you can DESIGN YOUR OWN SUITCASE. If you’re searching for the perfect wedding gift…here it is! And it’s something they can use for years…

Photo | the good trade

Clothing Rental Service

You’ve got so many events surrounding your wedding (including your honeymoon) and the sustainable queen inside you knows that it’s irresponsible to wear a different ensemble to each event–or is it? If you haven’t tried it already (and you’d be surprised how many people haven’t!) you definitely need a Rent The Runway account! You can seriously fill a suitcase with new (to you) clothes, wear them and post them once with ZERO GUILT! It’s good for the planet and it will save you a ton of $$$. And while RTR is just for womenswear (at the moment) Vince.unfold has some great menswear rental options.

Reusable Zip-Top Bags

How many ziploc bags do you use when you travel? Be honest. There’s the one for your toothbrush, then the one for your liquids, then the one in the checked bag for anything else you’re bringing that you’re scared may leak, etc. It’s safe to say that some reusable zip-top silicone bags would be a good sustainable investment.

Photo | Zip Top

Silicon Travel Containers

We know that bar shampoo and toothpaste tablets aren’t for everyone. Or maybe you have a skin/hair care regiment that you really need to stick to. Whatever the reason, there’s no judgement if you want to bring your essentials with you. But, instead of buying disposable travel sizes, we can’t reccommend transferring your bigger sizes to small reusable containers like these. Plus, they’re so cute!

A Cycladic Wedding in Paros Island, Greece

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]We wanted our colour palette to be in harmony with the aesthetic of the Reception Venue at Monastiri in Paros island. Therefore we used a lot of neutral colours, earthy tones, natural materials like wood, clay, hammered metals and numerous dried elements that are predominant in the landscape of the Cycladic islands during the summer months. [/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Alongside with our bride and groom, we developed a design for their wedding decor that tied in with the style of their chosen venue. We identified that there were bohemian elements combined with natural materials and furniture as well as traditional decorative accents in clay and wood.
We also wanted the design to complement the broader surroundings of the island of Paros, which being in the Cyclades offered a wilder beauty. Therefore our purpose was to create an overall aesthetic which felt like all elements used in the decor, from the flowers to the fabrics, stoneware, and other decorative details, were part of the surrounding nature. [/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Patrizia and Florian first met in High School and quickly became god friends.
The more time they spent together, the closer friends they became. After graduating high school they realised there was more to their relationship and they hesitantly decided to give their relationship a try.
Within the following years, they grew closer as a couple despite spending times apart while studying abroad. One of their favourite things to do together, even during the years they were living apart, was to vacation in the bride’s small cottage in the picturesque island of Paros.
2 years before their wedding and while they were on vacation in Paros Florian proposed on the Olive Garden of the cottage. He decorated the trees with countless fairy lights and once the bride said yes, they instantly decided that Paros was the location they wanted to officially celebrate their wedding too. [/field]

She chose a simple but beautiful gown from Temple Bo & Luca, perfect for a hot summer wedding in Greece. The silk fabric was soft and moved naturally with the wind and had a gorgeous tie which complemented the bride’s accessories. [/field]
[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]The bride wanted only her sister to be by her side on her big day, as her Maid of Honour. Together they chose a sparkly sage green dress which perfectly accentuated her beautiful smile and complemented the bride’s attire. [/field]

[field title=”Food & Drink”]Since the wedding was an intimate affair of 40 guests, the couple wanted a similar feel for their wedding meal. Therefore they chose a family-style dinner curated by Miltiadis Kioukas, with shared plates. They only opted for Mediterranean inspired dishes and infused in their menu some of their favourite Greek dishes such as handmade traditional pies, Fava from Santorini and a slow cooked lamb with oven baked potatoes. [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]In the decor design of Patrizia and Florian’s wedding, we used numerous natural elements found in the natural surroundings and Greek landscape. We opted to also match the florals alongside our floral designer Chaniotis, to these elements by using lots of Greece, dried foliage, flower colours in white, ochre and some burgundy touches for a few rustic notes.
We also incorporated elements of wood and brass metals in our place settings alongside neutral tone linens.
To incorporate more of the earth’s beautiful elements, we incorporated rough crystals on each guest’s place cards which symbolise wellbeing, stability and grounding.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]For the cake we wanted to continue with the natural theme of the overall decor aesthetic and opted for a simple two-tired cake with subtle brass detailing and complemented this with a few air plants as a simple yet natural decorative accent. [/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]Τhe couple worked together with two talented musicians, a singer and pianist to create a more instrumental version of their two favourite songs which they incorporated into the ceremony procession and recession.
They wanted these instrumental versions to be in line with the more informal ceremony that felt like an intimate gathering of their closest friends and family in the couple’s exchange of vows. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]For the cocktail hour, the coupe wanted to make sure all guests got to know eachother a little better and also get familiarised with the traditions of their chosen wedding destination, Greece.
Therefore, they designed an interactive game where guests were given fun challenges to perform such as, learning and demonstrating a small part of a traditional Greek dance, take funny photos of all guests with a Polaroid camera and record a short video with wedding advise for the couple. [/field]

Patina Inspired Wedding at Commodore Perry Estate Complete With Boho Style

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]The color scheme for Ari and Derek’s wedding centered around earthy tones, including alabaster stone and copper patina, as well as natural shades of mauve, pink, and neutral tones for the floral arrangements.[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Ari and Derek’s wedding was a celebration of textures inspired by the dynamic nature and beauty of patina, incorporating elements like natural stone candle holders, embroidered linens, and copper patina accents alongside the rich textures of the floral arrangements. Our goal was to fully immerse guests in Ari’s vision of an ethereal garden. Each decor piece was thoughtfully selected to serve a purpose, from the incense burning during the ceremony to the books placed on the backbars, creating a cohesive and meaningful experience for all in attendance.[/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]Ari & Derek once carved their initials into a tree while on a walk together in Pease Park. Four years later, for a Valentine’s Day picnic, Derek brought Ari back to their tree and to her surprise, had carved something new: “Marry me?” [/field]

A Cabo San Lucas Wedding Inspired By Colors Straight From The Fashion Runways

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]

The pastel tones featured in their wedding, were the same colors chosen by the worldwide designers on their 2023 spring-summer collections. The candyfloss pink got the main role in Brooke and Stinson’s marriage, as this color plays in harmony with the desert tones like dusty rose, tans, and muted oranges. So both the bride and her maids were in tune with the color beach palette.

[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]

The wedding’s design and atmosphere were classy and fun, meaning, the decorations and the atmosphere was elegant, stylish, and sophisticated. But, not everything was so serious, as an element of fun was also added so everybody could relax and have a good time.

The international fashion houses presented their spring-summer season 2023 collection, where the chosen color was pink on its pastel tone. Therefore, Brooke chose a different model for her dress, as it was not entirely white, but it had printed candy floss flowers all over it. This pink tone was also a perfect match for the bride’s maid’s gowns, which during the ceremony and along with the bride, harmonized with the desert sand tones of the beach.

[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]

The main goal was to de-Boheme the venue and transform it into a classic style. From a ceremony with lots of florals and a unique aisle shape to dinner reception tables with high floral arrangements and twinkle lights, Brooke and Stinson’s wedding decor and design were based on creating a romantic but modern look. The bride’s bouquet was a medium round size bouquet with a mix of colors made from different flowers: garden roses, ranunculus, hydrangeas, dendrobium, and sage greenery done in a messy and cascading style. The groom’s boutonniere was inspired by the bridal bouquet with a coral ranunculus and white ower with a pop of sage greenery.

[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]

A 3-tier white wedding cake, decored with fresh and natural white flowers that fell in a cascade shape. The lower cake was chocolate with chocolate oreo cream cheese, the middle was coconut with dulce de leche, and the top tier was lemon with lemon mousse.

The DJ Alexander Ayala created a magnificent music mix, so soon everybody started to dance. The atmosphere was full of joy, smiles, and applause, to the point that all the guests forgot the time and were just having fun in an endless party.

[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]Unlike other newlyweds, Brooke and Stinson chose to read their vows in private in a tree house. This made this special moment more private and intimate, as they were able to spend a few moments alone with each other, before plunging themselves into the party where their friends and families anxiously waited to celebrate along with them. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]

Later on, the reception was opened with a champagne tower so the groom could toast with his wife, and along with their friends and family, to their forthcoming life together.

Orange Florals Are Endless At This English Countryside Inspired Wedding

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]White, orange, pink, yellow, green[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]This formal wedding at the Country Club of Detroit brought to life a unique garden party, inspired by the concept of English countryside estates. The day offered a timeless feeling, as the sweet colors of sky blues and bright oranges wove throughout their colorstory. Hailing from Detroit, Christine wanted to be sure they incorporated historical elements of the city in their wedding day. They chose to hold a traditional Catholic ceremony at a prominent downtown cathedral. The Neo-Gothic style architecture provided elegantly checkered marble tiles for the procession, as well as plenty of spaces for the couple to pose for photos afterward. A simple champagne tower kicked off the reception atop a blue tablecloth. Whimsical floral designs cascaded along tables, walkways, and around the entrance to the reception tent in a sea of orange. The evening felt airy and bright, with linens, chairs, and decor all working together in neutral cream tones that felt reminiscent of an afternoon in the English countryside. [/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]John and Christine first saw each other from across the bar on a night out in Chicago. The two struck up a conversation, as they shouted over the house music. That evening they exchanged numbers to set up their first official date a few weeks later. As their relationship blossomed, John and Christine set off for a vacation to Miami, a respite from Chicago winters. John proposed during that trip on the beach at sunset.[/field]

[field title=”Florals & Decor”]”We were inspired by the grounds at the Country Club of Detroit, the gardens and the greenery that make the outdoors so beautiful. Christine and John loved the idea of a romantic, garden, whimsical, and classic celebration outdoors. They drew inspiration from many English countryside/estate weddings and classic, timeless weddings they’ve seen previously.

Christine is from Grosse Pointe, MI, and wanted to incorporate historical Detroit elements into the wedding celebrations, which included the cathedral, vintage car, venue, welcome party venue, rehearsal dinner venue, and more. The flowers were INCREDIBLE and created the perfect romantic, warm, garden-style ambiance that was from the bride and groom’s dreams.”[/field]

It meant so much to have our friends and family with us on our wedding day, and we so appreciated everyone traveling to Michigan from across the Atlantic and from coast to coast to celebrate!”[/field]

A Romantic Greenhouse Wedding in Spring That Celebrates Color

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]Spring pastels: sage green, shades of pink from light blush to brighter pops, dusty blue, with some oranges, reds and yellows incorporated into the florals[/field]
[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]We spent 21 months planning the wedding weekend of our dreams in Columbus, Ohio with the help of our families, friends, and amazing wedding planning team at Aisle & Co. Early on in the planning process, we were encouraged by our wedding planning team to define our focus. Zach and I continually remarked to each other how amazing it was that we had an opportunity to mesh all of our favorite people together in one room for a celebration, which helped us to define our focus of the weekend as embracing the special time not only as a couple, but with all of our favorite people.

The wedding day started for each of us at our respective childhood homes where we got ready with our wedding party and family. I did a first look with my bridesmaids and high school best friends and danced to all of our favorite throwback tunes, including Taylor Swift, throughout the morning. I got to do a first look with my dad, who actually had his own surprise for me! He ordered a custom jacket with a variety of pictures from my childhood and Zach’s proposal which was the sweetest surprise! Zach spent time with his family and groomsmen in the morning enjoying New Glarus Spotted Cow Beer and lots of laughs. It even included a cute “game over” cake!

We then met at the venue at Jorgensen Farms Oak Grove for a first look together and some photographs of Zach and I and our wedding party. One of my favorite times during the wedding day was in the groom suite after our first look and photographs with our wedding party when we all got to spend time together before the ceremony. Pastor Steve came in and said a prayer with us all to set the tone of the ceremony ahead.

The ceremony was beautiful, felt very intimate, and even included our fur baby, Milo. We wrote our own vows for each other, which was initially very scary, but also a special way to share our love with each other in front of all of our favorite people. Zach and I both walked out of the ceremony and spent a few minutes by ourselves which was a wonderful way to reflect on the gravity of the ceremony and commitment.

Zach and I felt so much love the entire day and really felt like we got to share the special day with each other and our guests during the reception. We had a stunning hand painted 3 tier cake that was a show stopper! We got to enjoy the night dancing with all of our friends and family thanks to the wonderful music/entertainment from DJ Tommy Nutter. We ended the night with a private last dance allowing us to really take a moment to take in the incredible day. [/field]
[field title=”Proposal Story”]We first met at Denison University in 2014 at the Kappa Alpha Theta formal. Though our connection was instant, we did not start dating until 8 months later. We did rekindle the spark 8 months later after spending lots of time in the athletic training room with our respective injuries during soccer and football season. Zach asked Logan on a date to a local sushi restaurant and we saw quite possibly the worst first date movie ever, Gone Girl, which was Logan’s choice. Zach was thankfully able to move past that first date movie choice and after a short while, we decided to make things official. After a semester abroad and several summers of long distance it was apparent that our relationship was going to go the distance.

Since we started dating, we have lived in Granville, Columbus, and recently bought a house in Saint Louis. We share a love of good food, skiing, and Columbus sports (Go Bucks!). Most of all, we share a love of spending time with close friends and families and playing with our fur baby, Milo. [/field]

For supper, guests had their choice of short rib, salmon or a vegetarian option. Late night snacks included Poutine and Mott’s Clamato (Canadian favorites). [/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]With the ceremony space being a greenhouse, the florals had to shine! The aisle was lined with arrangements at the end of each row in soft pinks, ivory and light green. The altar featured a combination of two arrangements at ground level, greenery and blooms crawling up the backdrop of windows and a hanging installation that together made for the most beautiful backdrop that framed the couple as they said their vows. As guests entered and exited the ceremony space, they also walked through a doorway draped with cascading blooms. This floral focused vibe was carried through to cocktail hour with acrylic signage that featured florals. The reception space featured a combination of a long, wooden estate table with round tables topped with neutral linens. Along with the same, cheery springy arrangements that were featured in the ceremony space, the centerpieces featured pressed flower candles. These details in combination with the hand painted floral wedding cake made for a design that did the greenhouse venue justice! [/field]

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]One detail we were adamant about including in the wedding was a personalized note to every one of our guests. We included this personalized letter as the name tag at each dinner spot. With the wedding being a 200+ person wedding, we wanted to make sure each person knew how special they were to us and how special it meant to have them there with us that day. I think this might have been the biggest hit of the entire wedding!![/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #2″]A few of our favorite details from the cocktail hour included the customized “P” ice cubes in the signature negroni, the edible flowers in the aperol spritz signature drink, the custom Milo napkins, the “Pewitts” neon sign, the custom dried flower seating chart and signage, and the indoor/outdoor aspect of our venue.[/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]The wedding weekend started off with a golf tournament for the wedding party and some close friends and family and was a great way to kick off the weekend! Everybody got to know each other a bit and spend time at the beautiful Double Eagle Golf Club in Galena, OH. There was a Zach and Logan trivia game with a question on each of the 9 holes and even some fun prizes involved! Later that night we got together for a welcome party at New Albany Country Club that was organized by the Pewitt Family. It was a wonderful way to chat with guests and spend time with our family and friends before the big day.

The day after our wedding, everybody reconvened at my parents’ house for a goodbye event, which was an Ohio State Football watch party in true Columbus, OH fashion. People enjoyed some local Columbus food staples, beer, and even the Caesar (Canadian bloody mary) which was provided as the wedding favor. It was such a special weekend![/field]

THIS Is What an Edgy, Fashion Forward, Garden Wedding Looks Like!

Now this is a bride who isn’t afraid to be bold and be totally and completely herself! (You go, girl!) With planning help from Violet and Bone, this gorgeous bride turned her edgy, fashion-forward garden wedding dream into a reality! From the black floral bridesmaids dresses to the 7-tier aged patina cake the bride designed herself – there’s personality oozing from every corner of their special day. Trust us, you’re going to want to spend some extra time on this stunning full gallery captured by Sally Pinera!

Words by the Bride… We got married at Paramour Estate. We chose it because we felt it the most unique, magical, fashionable place that we and our guest would never forget without having to do destination. I wanted something to fit with my theme and had a fashion forward garden in my mind the whole time. October + edgy dark mansion+high fashion= a great recipe to me. The moment we saw it ,we didn’t need to look anywhere else. It was a wrap! My dress was by Galia Lahav, I had seen it before I tried it on, when I put it on it was perfect and beading felt substantial,The dress is made to suck you in so I didn’t work out or do anything. Great excuse to have a dress like this. It was my garden dream dress. The fabric was lightweight and airy which I loved because I wanted to be able to get around with somewhat ease. I went to 6 other bridal stores, I loved that I got to say yes to the dress with the designer and add on custom sleeves that I was inspired from another dress to mash it up. It also didn’t hurt that it was Couture and made to my measurements because I stand at only 4’9.

For the cake design I drew up an idea for an aged patina cake, with bas relief working its way up the cake with birds, flowers, and such, I had gold snakes, butterflies weaving its way through with a modern sugar flower design. Grace and Honey Cakes did an amazing job bringing my moody whimsical garden cake to life. There was a point I didn’t think anyone could really do what I was asking for in area and I would have to have one brought in from out of town or state. I should note that I didn’t necessarily want a cake and was going to opt for something smaller, but my mom insisted the cake needs to be over the top like everything else and that people come to weddings to see and eat cake. I also don’t like cake and her cake was wildly tasty. Both us and of our families ate the cake for a week straight after the wedding. I had rectangular tables with velvet table cloths from La Tavola

All tabletop was from Casa De Perrin, and I actually had napkin rings on the head table of 40 people with gold butterflies, snacks and others that I had purchased before. I thought it would make it look over the top. The round tables were wood with a pedestal to amp up the garden theme. I used gorgeous French garden style chandeliers. Table numbers were thick clear acrylic and I had them made in Australia by sketch and etch creative. I had ikebena style flowers mixed in on the tables,. Everything was funky fresh and popping! I wanted everyone to just be floored and for people to notice the amount of details that I put in from beginning to end. I considered the reception Act 2 of my theatre play, with black chairs and a funky electric mix of plates. There were bowls of fruit on the tables, sort of inspired by still life as well oral the round wood garden tables.

The theme and mood of our wedding was a fashion forward garden theme, eclectic, designer focused, moody, classic, edgy all rolled into one. I decided on the theme based on making a story that would best fit with the house. I deemed US me and my husband the butterflies in this sort of menacing world with all these other things you would find in a garden like snakes, birds, insects, and such. Basically we were the light in the darkness. I make up stories for things. Im a big dork. I was a theatre major that studied scenic design and my mother was an interior decorator. I love designing. I would say Im obsessed.

For the color palette I wanted it to be girly, yet also with mood and my signature in life is also black and gold. Anyone who knows me knows I love black and gold together and I think that tones down the girly aspect adding in that factor. I worked out color tones using color generators to create the floral story and overall vibe.

Our wedding was special because of the magical location overlooking downtown LA, the Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory. Our guest got the chance to to experience the history and special magical tucked away place that they’ve never even heard of. Also my husband and family beaming with pride of how wonderful everything ended up turning out. That made it special for us all and we all wish we could do it over again. We had so much fun. Also we got to stay at the Paramour and so did my family and we woke up and had breakfast the next morning by the pool. That was a nice touch to extend that wonderful day.

A Sonoma Wedding Inspired by The Little Prince

Nestled in the enchanting landscape of Sonoma, a captivating celebration awaits you inspired by the ethereal world of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s famed story, “The Little Prince.” Drawing upon the book’s whimsical essence, Manna Sun Events designed and planned a wedding that embraces a neutral color palette, allowing the beauty of the surroundings to take center stage. Fantastical floral design by Mandy’s Garden Floral Design helps bring the love story to life. Every cherished moment of this extraordinary event is captured by gifted photographer,Ashley Noelle Edwards whose imagery perfectly captures the essence of love and art. See it all inside the full gallery.

From Manna Sun EventsA neutral color palette of sandshell, peared ivory and a hint of greenery and soft pink set the scene for this fairytale wedding. After planning and designing by Manna Sun Events team for 8 months, the wedding dream finally came true on 22nd Mar, 2022 at Viansa Sonoma Winery, CA, along with the sheer professionalism from photographer Ashley Noelle Edwards and florist Mandy’s Garden Floral Design. Taking inspirations from the most translated book Le Petit Prince and the artistic sensitivity of Wabi Sabi, let’s take a closer look at how refined and sophisticated all the artful sentiments from this dreamy wedding are. The bold yet sophisticated fusion of Tuscany style and Wabi-sabi concept.

Set atop a hill overlooking the Valley of the Moon and resembling a Tuscan Villa, the Viansa Sonoma Winery embraces us with Tuscan aesthetics, ranging from the trellis laced with thriving grapevines to the intimate fountain courtyard which is enclosed by ivy-clad walls and shaded by silvery olive trees. Taking advantage of the these distinctive features, we unhesitatingly chose to incorporate the aesthetics of Wabi-sabi. The bouquets and boutonnieres, arranged by Mandy’s Garden Floral Design, are in mostly white and green colors and hints of pearled ivory and soft pink colors, while the fluffy dancing blooms and branches add to the Ikebana style. The dreamy ceremony scene, swathed in a palette of tan, sandshell, powder pink, and greenery, undoubtedly delights our eyes and steals our breath away through its rustic vibe and Tuscan charm. Also, it looks so organic and decent when setting up the rustic wooden table and sweetheart chairs with wispy and minimalism floral arrangements, which is also a key principle of Ikebana of arranging things in silence to create harmony. The sign-in area is another place we can’t get enough from, where two large ivory color foam boards with Wabi Sabi style are standing. The foam boards, designed and provided by Inkinity Studio, have sea wave patterns on the surface, nodding to the Japanese Ukiyo-e masterpieces. Adorned with Ikebana style and organic floral arrangements, the calligraphy of quotes in French undoubtedly adds to the romantic flares and sophisticated vibes. Moreover, being adorned with Wabi Sabi patterns, sydney papers and sugar flowers, the bespoke wedding cake from Trizia Cake Artistry is finished with a touch of the Japanese philosophy about the acceptance of transience and imperfection. A fairy tale dream comes true

As one of the favorite books for the newlywed, The Little Prince undoubtedly became one of the themes of the wedding. The couple’s understanding of The Little Prince can be felt throughout the whole wedding. We are totally smitten by the way how the beautiful story is incorporated into the invitation set by Inkinity Studio, creating aesthetics of Wabi-Sabi and romance through neutral tones and artistic hand sketches. The whimsical combination of The Little Prince and Wabi-sabi just reflects the true meaning of love, which could be imperfect but can be deeply felt by heart. Besides,
the signage, on which The Little Prince has been transferred and conveyed through constellation and galaxy effects, greatly enhance the uniqueness of the wedding.
