“The overall aesthetic for Taylor and Mason’s wedding was elevated sophistication. We leaned into the beauty of the venue—with its grand architecture, sparkling marble floors, and serene blue walls accented with gold—and designed every detail to enhance that luxurious backdrop. To complement the space, we used an abundance of white florals in varying textures, layered with gold-accented tabletop and custom décor pieces. Everything was tied together with a custom, opulent crest we commissioned from You’re Invited featuring Taylor and Mason’s duo-gram and a sweet illustration of their fur baby, Bennie, who made a brief appearance for family photos. The crest was debossed into their invitations and menu cards and woven into subtle design accents throughout the wedding, adding a personal touch most thoughtfully.” – Sara Fried, owner, Fête Nashville Luxury Weddings

[field title=”Proposal Story”]“Since we both work in real estate, Mason got creative with the proposal. He asked me to show a house to some ‘clients’—but when I arrived at the rooftop, it wasn’t clients waiting for me, it was Mason… and a photographer! I said ‘yes’ in that perfect moment, and then he completely surprised me with an engagement party at the Four Seasons, surrounded by all our closest friends and family.” – Taylor[/field]

“When Taylor walked out in her Galia Lahav wedding dress, it took our breath away. The silhouette was sculpted and elegant, and the lace detailing and beading were exquisite. She looked stunning—like a couture bride straight out of Paris. It felt romantic and modern all at once. It was the perfect dress for her.” – Sara Fried, owner, Fête Nashville Luxury Weddings. Taylor wore a structurally fitted corseted mermaid wedding gown with sheer cutouts and embroidered French lace and veil designed by Galia Lahav. “I was drawn to how timeless and elegant it felt. The moment I put it on, I felt like the best version of myself— it’s unique to me.” – Taylor, bride

[field title=”Bridesmaid Dresses”]”Each bridesmaid carried a monochromatic bouquet of a single flower pulled from Taylor’s wedding flowers—some held peonies, others tulips, calla lilies, or roses—each wrapped in blush satin ribbon. The bridesmaids wore blush gowns by Dessy, each in a different silhouette to create a cohesive yet individual look that felt modern and feminine.” – Sara Fried, owner, Fête Nashville Luxury Weddings[/field]

Mason and his groomsmen wore traditional tuxedos with individual jeweled floral brooches from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Dinner was served with pre-selected entrees in a three-course style. Guests had the choice of beef tenderloin with a red wine demi-glace, pan-seared cobia, or burnt sugar crusted chicken for their entrées with roasted brussels sprouts and rosemary parmesan potatoes. Late-night snacks were passed on silver platters around the dance floor, including espresso martinis shots topped with warm chocolate chunk cookies, truffle butter mini grilled cheeses, and beef sliders.

“The focal point of the reception was the custom-built head table we designed in partnership with Curated Events. We had it perfectly constructed to nestle between the grand columns at the center of the room, creating a stunning architectural moment. The U-shaped table featured designs from Cori Cook Florals with a lush floral runner of white blooms with soft touches of green, interwoven with glowing white taper candles and scattered votives for a warm, romantic glow. The florals spilled dramatically off both ends of the table, pooling onto the marble floor most luxuriously. It was breathtaking from every angle.” – Sara Fried, owner, Fête Nashville Luxury Weddings

A stunning 5-tiered cake covered in sugar flowers and white buttercream icing made by Dessert Designs in Nashville was the centerpiece of the evening. Flavors of traditional white wedding cake and almond amaretto with caramel filling were served to each guest.

“My grand-dad, Jerry Sexton, will be marrying us. It means a lot to me, and he has been a preacher for 25 years. I just made sense to have him do it. “ – Mason “I am walking down the aisle to “Canon in D” by Johann Pachelbel. That song has been my choice since day one. I liked that traditional feel; most brides walk down the aisle to it. “ – Taylor

[field title=”Special Detail #1″]
“One of my favorite moments of the entire weekend was the first dance. After Taylor and Mason were introduced at the reception, Taylor’s dad surprised everyone by introducing one of their favorite bands, ‘Restless Road’, for a private performance. They sang their hit ‘Growing Old with You’ for Taylor and Mason’s first dance, and then followed it with an unreleased song, ‘And Then Some,’ for the father-daughter dance. It was emotional, personal, and one of those unforgettable moments that made the night truly magical.” – Sara, planner

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]
“From the very beginning, Taylor dreamed of incorporating ballerinas into the wedding reception. Once we selected The Fisher Center at Belmont University—with its grand balconies and dramatic architecture—the vision came together beautifully. I had a portrait in mind: Taylor and Mason standing in the center of the dance floor, with ballerinas dancing gracefully behind them, captured at golden hour as sunlight streamed through the towering cathedral windows, scattering tiny rainbows across the marble floor. It was the photo I could see in my head months in advance, and it took a true village of dedicated creative perfectionists to bring that moment to life. Every detail had to be precisely timed and choreographed — thank goodness I have the best team of planners in the world. Michelle Beller captured it even better than I had imagined.” – Sara Fried, owner, Fête Nashville Luxury Weddings

[field title=”Special Detail #3″]“For the last dance, Taylor and Mason wanted to go out on a high—having flown in the Jordan Kahn Orchestra for the occasion, they were determined to stay on the dance floor as long as possible, so we planned an epic ending. As the band began playing Taylor Swift’s ‘Love Story,’ the floor was packed, and my team had prepped the band to cue everyone into a loose horseshoe shape around the couple. That way, Michelle Beller could capture the perfect full-length shot. And because nothing is ever left to
chance, we even scheduled a site visit with Renowned Event Designs just to walk through the angles and placement of the confetti canons to ensure the perfect experience and photo. Right at 1 minute and 57 seconds—during the lyric ‘Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone…’—the canons exploded, and the entire room went wild. Guests swarmed the couple, singing their hearts out. It was pure magic. Must-have photo #2: mission accomplished.” ~ Sara
“Ballerinas. That was my one non-negotiable. That and my florals. Those were two things I
envisioned from the early stages, and I was not going to waiver very far from. “ – Taylor, bride[/field]
