Newnan Wedding by Laura Barnes Photo

Good morning, SMPers!  It’s another fabulous Wednesday morning here on Style Me Pretty Georgia and we have just the wedding to erase any of those mid-week blues you may be feeling.  Boasting some insanely gorgeous florals by Hannah Wells, a sweet as can be color palette, one fabulous wedding gown and the most adorable bride and groom of all time, this traditional soiree captured by Laura Barnes Photo is about as lovely as it gets… and then some.  Plus, a dessert reception!  Click here for even more!

From Laura Barnes PhotoI am so excited to share Hannah and Charles’ wedding! This was such a personal ceremony and I haven’t photographed a couple that was more excited to share and start their new story together. Hannah literally glowed from the second I met her at the church the morning of their ceremony. Charles was just as excited and seemed a bit more nervous to see Hannah. They opted not to have a first look prior to the ceremony.  All of the details of their wedding day fell into place perfect with the exception of the power going off during their ceremony due to a horrible storm! It was only off a few seconds and seemed to be a secret blessing.  Hannah’s dress was perfect and completely matched her personality.  All of the details from their wedding were small yet very elegantly planned. I especially loved the letter “G” they had for their new last name together! After a quick dessert reception and a few dances they left in an old antique car for a mystery honeymoon!

40’s Inspired Wedding by Jeremy Harwell, II

I la-la-love this wedding. It’s so girly, so charming, filled with perfect details that would make any girl completely swoon. I am thrilled that the photographer, Jeremy Harwell, sent it my way!

The incredible flowers were designed by Virtu, a great floral studio out of Atlanta. Their portfolio is filled with absolutely gorgeous designs that hint but don’t overwhelm you with their natural elegance. Love them.

Thank you so much to Jeremy Harwell for sending this wedding our way. I am in love! And to Ashley and Jimmy for letting us share in the celebration. The feather plume centerpiece is enough to send me clear over the edge!

40’s Inspired Wedding by Jeremy Harwell

I took one look at this lovely wedding and knew that it was an SMP feature. There is something so sweet, so precious about the 40’s inspired affair. Jeremy Harwell, the photographer behind the day, did a spectacular job at telling the beautiful story of the day.

The location itself, Dunaway Gardens, is unbelievably special…it was originally established by a film actress and her husband and served as a training ground for producers, directors and performers of the arts during the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. Walt Disney was even a frequent guest! So, this lovely couple, found their inspiration in the venue’s roots and designed a wedding that seemed at home in the perfect space.
