Table Inspiration by Fresh Lime Events

I thought that this pretty Winter white inspiration was the perfect way to start our day. Lyndsey Maurath of Fresh Lime Events is the designer behind the look and approached an all white color palette in just about the most original way I've ever seen. I love, love, love the ribbon streamers paired with the ghost chairs and the texture of the feathers everywhere. It's the perfect balance of modern and girly, of elegant and totally...

Vintage Wedding by Justin and Mary, III

I knew you guys would go bananas over this wedding. The wedding itself is gorgeous...but really, with this one, it's all about the bride. She is insanely gorgeous and will no doubt inspire a ton of you to add a little bit of vintage beauty to your wedding style! And there is no one better to have photographed her than Justin and Mary Marantz. They captured that sweet, demure fierceness that I have fallen totally in love with.

Vintage Wedding by Justin and Mary, II

Justin and Mary are the best. That's just the only way I can think to properly introduce them. They are loved by photographers and brides alike (and bloggers, of course) so when I get to feature one of their picture perfect weddings on SMP, I always get a little more excited than usual. Which says a lot seeing that I am always "jumping for joy" or "squeeling with glee." And this wedding just happens to be about as good as it gets.

Vintage Wedding by Justin and Mary, I

I gave you a little sneak peek of this gorgeous wedding earlier today, but it's time to get to the really good stuff. I first saw this wedding while shooting a From Inspiration to Reality feature with Justin and Mary Marantz. All of the vendors stood around the camera gushing and gushing and gushing about this stunning bride and her amazing sense of style. I basically begged to feature it on SMP and I am so happy that we finally get...

Santa Fe Wedding by Twin Lens

The loveliness of this next wedding is what first caught my eye...the simple details, the pretty and elegant style, the gorgeous bride and the stunning photography by Twin Lens. And yet, it was the bride's endearing description of her day that actually brought me to tears. This is not only pure eye candy...it's also a little lesson in planning your wedding with a bit of grace and a bit of beauty.

I think a lot of women...

Canadian House and Home Wedding by Andreas Avdoulos

I try not to recycle weddings here on SMP, as I always want the content to be fresh and completely original. But, the minute I laid eyes on this wedding, I knew I had to share it. Photographed by Andreas Avdoulos, it's the wedding of Canada's House and Home Editor, Suzanne Dimma and is a lesson in restraint, in rustic elegance, in understated style. And I love every bit of...

Holiday DIY Cookie Gifts

I heart the holiday season in a big, BIG way. The pretty lights, the trees, the gifts, the hot cocoa and marshmallows. So to celebrate, we've asked some of our favorite Little Black Book members to craft some holiday inspired DIY projects. Little crafts that are chic, elegant and would make anyone who received them grin from ear to ear. But the best part, all of the projects can easily be interpreted into favors of all...

Santa Barbara Wedding by Beaux Arts Photographie, II

There is something really great about a wedding that is all fun. For me, it's the more whimsical, sweet weddings that really hit home...that serve as a reminder of how important it is to design an affair that reflects your personality and not one that reflects what a wedding "should" look like. And if you can do that without sacrificing style, well, that is what makes for a really great celebration.

Santa Barbara Wedding by Beaux Arts Photographie

This might be one of the more charming weddings I've ever seen. Sent to us by the forever talented Kirsten Ellis of Beaux Arts Photographie, it's flirty and completely fun. It's one of those weddings that didn't take itself to seriously and instead was designed around the cute personalities of the bride and groom. I love that.

The oh-so-talented...

The very first From Inspiration to Reality feature that we did blew my socks off. It was incredible for me to see an inspiration board that a reader designed literally come to life.
