Justine & Robert really wanted an outdoor wedding, but opted to move inside for the reception since it's a little chilly in northern California in October.
When I first saw this wedding, it was the ceremony that honestly took my breath away. Something about the simplicity of the style, the perfect silhouette of the bride's gown, the joy that is radiating from everyone. It's just pure beauty.

It was important to us to represent our cultures (Jewish and Filipino/Irish) in a non-denominational ceremony. Daniel’s father created our chuppah from green bamboo and my mother sewed the fabric for the canopy.

What I liked best about the wedding was our ability to bring together different aspects of our life that, on the surface, don't go together. The vendors (and of course my parents) made it possible for us to juxtapose city and country, formal and personal, classic and modern. Together, we were able to create a rustic luxe feel that was really unique.
