Today's real wedding was a marriage of two cultures, with a traditional Indian ceremony followed by a Western style reception...celebrating the bride and the groom to perfection. There really is only one word to describe Anne and Dave's wedding reception...elegance. The simple, stunning color palette is just so timelessly gorgeous, it's hard not to fall in love.

I am in love with these images...they are so telling, so unbelievably poignant. The photograph of the rings is literally a work of art. And guess what, it just keeps getting better and better. Wait until you see the stunning reception that Anne and Dave held. It's simply beautiful.
I love today's real wedding. Mostly because it satisfies my two very distinct personalities...the one that loves vibrancy and color, and the one that is drawn to sheer, simple elegance. Anne and Dave were married this past August in a traditional Indian Ceremony at the Hotel Fiesole, which was followed by a gorgeous Western reception at Dave's aunt's private home.

I've been a little Napa-crazy lately, with two wine country weddings yesterday and this lovely wedding today. Must be the buckets of snow that are sitting outside my doorstep and the memory of what it used to be like to live in the beautiful Bay Area.

Even though they promptly destroyed my mission: lose ten pounds, the chubby chocolate cookies and oozy boozy caramel truffles that Chocolate Gourmet sent me, were worth every ounce. Made from the finest ingredients, these little treats don't take themselves too seriously...perfect favors for a bride and groom that don't either. Love, love, love.
