From Creative ConsultantsIt was a true blend of national cultures on Saturday May 28, 2011. The wedding was held at Central Christian Church. After the ceremony, guests were transported by trolley to The Historic Driskill Hotel for the reception. The bride and groom were transported in a vintage Rolls Royce. The cocktail hour began with music from The Lucky Strikes, followed by an incredible seated dinner in the mezzanine. Guests moved to the Texas Ballroom for the cutting of the cake, and of course, the groom’s cake came from England! The Texas Ballroom was transformed into a lounge and dance floor with music by The Motts. There was a rose petal send-off and a horse and carriage ride for the bride and groom. The groom wore his top hat and tails, and the bride wore a gown from a designer in London. Matchbooks, hot sauce, a candy bar and slap bracelets were all wedding favors. The couple now resides in London, England.
