Massachusetts Weddings

What better way to celebrate a year of wedded bliss than returning to the oceanside town where it all began? Such was the case with this darling couple, who made sure their paper anniversary included plenty of confetti while Katie Noble was there to capture every lovely snapshot. There are more sweet smiles and sandy toes to celebrate right here.

From The Bride… For our one year anniversary shoot we returned to Rockport, MA—the cute seaside town where we had our wedding last September. As the first big milestone in our marriage, I wanted a celebration that was carefree, colorful and fun. Katie of Katie Noble Photography perfectly captured the energy and excitement that characterizes how we see our lives together. My romantic flower crown and his playful floral bowtie brought an element of whimsy to the evening. I crafted the personalized confetti push pops and a DIY nonpareil cake topper to pick up on the bright colors of our wardrobe. The lighthearted vibe of this sunset shoot was everything I could have imagined. It was a lovely way to revisit the moments of one year ago and dream of all the celebrations ahead.

From Justine Yandle Photography… Charlotte and Michael had a DIY classic yet rustic backyard affair on Nahant Beach with their closest family and friends.  Charlotte, Michael and their entire bridal party created and collected all of the details and decor for their wedding.  The flowers were done by Charlotte and her family the morning of the wedding!

Elizabeth and Brian toured at least ten wedding venues before finding the Willowdale Estate in the heart of the North Shore region of Massachusetts. Located less than thirty miles north of Boston, in Topsfield, It is an ideal spot for a wedding ~ no matter the season! And in Massachusetts, that’s a true claim to fame!

When Elizabeth and Brian walked into Willowdale, they fell in love with it immediately. They wanted to be able to create a warm homey feel for their event. “It is something we try to create in our own home with our 4 children” – said Elizabeth. “The staff was very warm and accommodating as well,” she added later.

It was important for the couple to be able to personalize the wedding with the pictures of their families and their pets, including the pictures of their chickens! Elizabeth, Brian and their family did 100% of the planning.
