Cinco de Mayo is my favorite holiday, hands down, and it only has a wee bit to do with eating my weight in chips and salsa and washing it all down with a delicious margarita or two. But the fiestas? Those certainly play a part as well and if they look anything like this number crafted by It's a Sparkly Life with florals by Aura Design and all captured by Lisa Renault, then we're in for a treat.
With Cinco de Mayo right around the corner, I wanted to create a festive and inspiring party that still stayed true to my general aesthetic and color palette! Mainly pastels and lots of pinks! I used saturated pops of color to keep with the style you would normally see in a Cinco de Mayo party. I made sure to have all the other essentials: some papel picado, lots of tacos and a whole lot of tequila! The end result was something feminine, fun and airy! Just how I envisioned it! A perfect Cinco de Mayo party that looks a little different than we are used to!
