It’s winter at Cedar Creek Hall near Mount Tamborine, so of course, there are cherubs in teepees! Well, they’re flower girls styled by Imbue Weddings playing in conical shaped drapes, but they’re just as cute and magical. These NGG photos are full of mythical surprises, like the jaw dropping floating door frame by The One Day House. See all of the wintery wonderland right here in the full shoot!
And be sure to check out the gorgeous film from Matt Barwick Films, featuring music by Eliza Dear!

From NGG Studios… Grey Goddess is her name, she is set by a brisk stream at the foot of Mount Tamborine, at Cedar Creek Hall. Complete with tee-pee for the flower girls, outdoor table setting under a canopy of leaves, romantic chalk board art for the ceremony, and a darling doorframe that leads to the welcome table with sweet treats and outdoor lounge area. To add an Australian dash to the feel of the shoot Kristy from Imbue Weddings incorporated gum nuts and eucalyptus leaves in the floral details and stationery. There were so many more pretty little details — it was like walking into a wintery, delicious dream…
The shoot was organised for a couple of reasons. First, to celebrate the launch of Imbue Wedding’s sister hire company: The One Day House. Imbue Weddings has been leading the local Brisbane industry with their styling and florals, so it’s super exciting that they now offer a gorgeous hire range for DIY brides!
And the second reason for the shoot: Along with Kristy from Imbue Weddings and Jennifer of Jennifer Gifford Designs, we are collaborating to create a unique, free (!) event for Byron Brides, the Byron Bay Bridal Showcase. It will be a boutique gathering of suppliers and local artists to showcase their talents in a very “non-expo” environment. Byron Bay weddings always have such a unique vibe with great attention to detail, but many couples who tie the knot there are from interstate, making it difficult to find trusted local suppliers who “get” their wedding. So we wanted to create an event (and a space online for people who can’t make it on the day) to help them get into contact with local wedding vendors. The day will be held at the beautiful Ewingsdale Hall and will have spaces for couples to draw inspiration — bohemian, vintage and romantic settings; a Polaroid photo booth; a vintage-style flower stand; chalkboard art and much more!
