In my humble opinion, it doesn’t get much better than this. An outdoor wedding, near the water, with a neutral color palette and lots of natural touches? Oh, and not to mention a stunning couple that is ridiculously head over heels for each other? Simply the best from Kelsey DeWitt Photography. Simply the best.

From the photographer… “It’s better than Pinterest” could be heard around the Meadow Wind B&B all day on this beautiful September day in Hebron, New Hampshire. This barn wedding was a DIY wedding and had so many small touches that made it very personal this New England couple. The couple chose to get married on Newfound Lake in New Hampshire because that’s where the bride spent summers growing up. The bride’s veil was made by her mother and lots of the wood decor (including the “wood cookies” that the centerpieces were placed on and the cake stand) were all made by the groom’s father who is a logger in Maine. The bride’s side of the family is Scottish and her father surprised the bride with a bagpiper on her wedding day. Framed photos were hanging in the barn from the bride & grooms’ parents’ weddings, symbolizing the two loving households that the bride & groom were separately brought up in, but on this day, the two families became one. It just seemed like it was personal touch, after personal touch that pulled this wedding together. Friends & family of the bride and groom worked hard in the days leading up to the wedding to finalize all the DIY projects and wrap up the small burlap & birch details that all added up to make the bride’s plans come to life. From the bride’s laughter filled morning surrounded by her closest girlfriends lounging in their new personalized robes, to the groomsmen (who were all college runners) going for their usual morning run in their new running shorts given to them as a gift by the groom, to a beautiful first-look on the beach, to the bride & her dad riding in style to the ceremony on the back of a convertible, to a ceremony overlooking Newfound Lake, to a celebration in a barn, and finally ending the night with a sparkler exit– this New Hampshire lakeside wedding was a beautiful non-stop celebration of love & a barn wedding to remember!
