A Tropical, Laid Back Wedding In the Bahamas at Squires Estate

Growing up vacationing on Windermere Island in the Bahamas, the bride knew from a young age what her dream nuptials would look like – sandy toes, lots of sunshine, and surrounded by crystal clear Caribbean waters. The beautiful Squires Estate was the perfect location to make her island-style soirée a reality! With the help of Boy Meets Girl Weddings, the couple incorporated plenty of lush island greenery into their wedding decor, mixed in with subtle touches of cream and white blooms. Guests danced the night away to island jams from a local Bahamian band and toasted to the adorable couple with delicious tropical cocktails! Immerse yourself in the paradise that is the full gallery, all captured by Alex Thornton!

What did you envision your wedding being prior to planning?

From the Bride… I always dreamt of an island-style wedding since I was a little girl. Growing up with our family home on Windermere Island, I knew that a destination wedding in the Bahamas would be our location – I just hoped that everyone we invited would love the remote island life as much as we do! Due to COVID-19, we had to downsize our already small wedding to a much more intimate event. We went from 100 guests to right under 30 and it was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t imagine our special day being anything other than what it was.

What was your color palette and your style vision?

Why not use the resources already on hand in such a beautiful tropical place?! I was very detailed with wanting to incorporate as much island greenery into our rehearsal, ceremony and reception as possible. The lush greenery on the island is so beautiful. Island greenery mixed with lots of cream + white and blush flowers was my vision. I wanted all ghost chairs for the seating and flowers overflowing on the tables with lots of candles. We already had the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony … the deck overlooking the Governor’s Harbour and the sun setting turned the sky the most beautiful colors of pink, orange and purple. Mother nature was definitely on our side during our wedding! I wanted everything to feel laid back and “island style” but still put together and carefully curated down to every detail. Since this was the first trip for most people in over a year (due to covid!), I wanted it to be a tropical oasis. Amazing island jams from our local Bahamian band, island cocktails (hello Goombay Smashes & rum punches all night!) local island fish or the choice of chicken for dinner and the most amazing atmosphere filled with friends and family. It was a night full of laughter, happy tears, drinking and dancing under the stars. A mix of fun, romantic, intimate and classic filled with all the natural beauty of the Bahamas.

What unique elements or DIY details did you include?

My planner wrapped our ceremony structure and tent entrance with flowers from the island – a mix of natural greenery and white roses cascading with a fun beaded boho chandelier. With the harbour right behind us, the cascading roses would blow in the breeze as we said our vows – it was truly magical. The inside of the tent had cascading roses and our bar + tables were covered in white hydrangeas, blush roses and natural island greenery. I had the place cards be little laser cut pieces of wood, painted gold for everyone. One of my favorite unique moments incorporated into our wedding were the handmade flower crowns I had made for myself and my bridesmaids. It was the perfect tropical addition and they looked so cute!

What was your favorite moment? Your favorite crafted detail?

How can I pick a favorite moment?! There were so many. I have three specifically that stand out. The first if I have to pick would be the decision we made to have a sweetheart table. We had cocktail hour over at one of the other properties on the estate after the ceremony while my wedding planner flipped the ceremony deck for our reception. Since we had such a small group, this was fairly easy. We put our sweetheart table under the flower covered ceremony structure and we both sat in two vintage rattan peacock back chairs. It was really special to have our moment up there looking at everyone as well as our own intimate time as we listened to the toasts over dinner. The second would be the moment I walked down the aisle. My dad unexpectedly passed away almost 3 years ago now and I didn’t know who would walk me down. My little sister stepped up and offered to carry my dress train + veil behind me as I walked (a true Diana moment!) and my husband Erik surprised me and met me half way so I wouldn’t have to walk fully alone. I don’t think there was a dry eye at the ceremony. The third was the decision for Erik and I and the photographer to hop in our island car after the ceremony and head to the pink sand beach during “golden hour” for photos … just us. And when i say just us… we were the ONLY people on French Leave Beach. The sun was setting and the sand had the most magical pink glow to it. Yes, the sand is really pink! It looked like we stepped into heaven and it was just us. The most beautiful photos and night of my life. It also gave Erik and I a chance to just breathe, take our shoes off, run around in the sand and dip our toes in the water… officially as husband and wife. Lots of kisses and hugs and thankfully our amazing photographer captured all of it! Pure bliss.

Tell us about your flowers, your gown, your favors, your cake, etc.

I wanted my bouquet to only be white/cream and island greenery. We did a mix of white roses, babies breath and natural island greenery pieces throughout to make a cascading effect. My dress was a dreamy strapless a-line Ines di Santo gown with boned corset bodice and embellished beaded and three dimensional floral embroidery throughout. The second layer of the dress was all lace. We had one signature cocktail, the island Goombay Smash! Our cake was an amazing coconut cream cake. Funny story, we kept the leftover wedding cake in the fridge at one of the homes on the estate where family was staying because the cooks were using that kitchen for the reception. The day after our wedding, most of our guests stayed to do a fun beach day, that night everyone wanted to eat our wedding cake again for dessert because they loved it so much! So, we brought it out and all had our wedding cake…again! Other details…we had late night gourmet pesto grilled cheeses and pepperoni pizzas for everyone and it was such a hit! Really soaked up all the Goombay Smashes consumed while dancing under the stars!

What is one piece of advice that you could give brides-to-be?

When planning a wedding, especially destination, things will often not always go as planned. Try to keep an open mind, trust your wedding planner (make sure *if you can* to meet them in person at your destination to get a feel for their planning process) and always keep the big picture in mind as to what your wedding represents  – true love, a beautiful marriage to your soul mate and your happily ever after!

Top Sellers From the Style Me Pretty Shop to Add to Your Cart Right Now

It’s absolutely wedding attending season, but if you’ve just gotten engaged yourself (proposals aren’t just pigeonholed to one season), you can still start shopping for some fun things for your engagement party or even just start looking ahead to your wedding day. We’ve had our Style Me Pretty Shop open for over a year now, so we know which items have serious best-selling status. From recently-affianced accessories to decor that’ll have you getting excited for your ‘I dos,’ these are some of the looks that couples have loved ever since we launched. And not going to lie, we L-O-V-E them too!

If you’re newly planning

You’ll have a lot ahead of you, so it’s important to stay calm and focused.

Something Blue Handkerchief

It’s true, if you’re just-engaged, you have plenty of time to get everything together for your bridal trousseau. That being said, there’s nothing wrong with starting early – and getting something for yourself, because you’ll inevitably get the somethings old and borrowed from your favorite people, at some point in the future. Our something blue handkerchief is such a sweet token of age-old wedding traditions, not to mention, seeing the words ‘I do’ are just the thing to keep your eye on the prize (the prize being, a perfectly-planned wedding). Who knows, maybe beginning your planning process with something blue can ward off any of the post-wedding blues that could come after the day is done.

Wedding Backdrop Banner

And while we’re on the topic of the ‘somethings,’ something new can be for the two of you! This season in your life is so special, so don’t get caught up in the stress of planning – enjoy this time, embrace your new fiancé or fiancée titles, and remember that together is always a beautiful place to be. Hang this stunning backdrop up somewhere in your home or apartment, and come back to it anytime you need a break from the tedium of planning or the general hustle and bustle of life. Use it as a good luck charm throughout your engagement and feature it somewhere on your wedding day – as a testament to your bond, your friendship, and your forever after.

Wedding Planner

Of course, once you do get to planning a wedding and handling all the other pre-final-fete prep, then you’ll want to have a way to organize and streamline the chaos a little bit. Our wedding planning binder is just the thing to help you do it. A blush, but make it fashion vibe translates with a Bermuda shell-peached colored cover and a patterned interior with colorful floral accents. Not only is it chock-full of helpful worksheets, timelines, templates and budgeting tools – it’s beautifully designed and constructed with some of the finest materials to produce a wedding planning keepsake that you can cherish for years to come (or pass along/down to your favorite people).

If you’re celebrating your engagement

You’ll want to encourage your guests to get just as pumped about your proposal as you are, so do it with classy decor that epitomizes a ‘eat, drink, and be merry as we get ready to marry’ mentality.

Neon Pink ‘Love’ Sign

Congratulations will be the word of the day at your engagement party, no questions asked, but also up there? LOVE! You can get creative with hanging acrylic signs or ‘Cheers to Love’ banners, for sure, but want to curate something even cooler for your first coming out party as  to-be-weds? A bloom-filled escort card display can be just as enchanting at the engagement party as it is at the wedding itself. Or, style a sort of hospitality suite or lounge with our neon pink ‘love’ sign, a guest book, and maybe even a suggestion box for your wedding hashtag! All of your fam and friends can write in with hints for your hashtag, and then you can treat them to an extra favor on your wedding day, as a thank you!

Drinks On Us Table Runner

Another thought? Have a drink table set up with beautiful linens, statement florals, and flutes of something fancy (extra points for gold-rimmed glasses). Our linen screen-print runner is the stuff of tablescaping dreams, and the tassels tag-team classic and bohemian touches – as do cream-colored ceramic tea lights with textile-inspired cutouts.

Fun Gifts for the Whole Squad

An engagement-honoring event doesn’t have to be the place where you pop the question to your prospective wedding party, but it could be!. If you’ll have friends and family in attendance, those you’d like to be bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls and/or ring bearers, then maybe think about gifting them some glam accessories to represent their very special roles in your day. No engagement party favors needed!

If you’re thinking about trends to weave into your wedding

You’ll want to consider trends that are timeless and versatile to fit any season and every aesthetic. Acrylic details and decor are your ultimate embellishment end-game, in this regard.

Acrylic and Gold Welcome Sign

While deciding on the decor and finishing touches for your wedding takes time, you’ll inevitably want a greeting for your guests – something that says “Welcome To Our Wedding” in a way that’s simple, yet elegant. Our gold scripted sign subscribes to that exactly. You can hang it with string lights or surround it with surreal, seasonal blooms that obscure the sides so it looks like the festive foreword is just floating.

Clear and Gold Foil Bride & Groom Wedding Sign Set

Nothing can make you feel closer to your special day than seeing the names you’ve held for so long – bride and groom – calligraphed in gold, across stunning plexi. These placards will soon reserve your place at the wedding, as the guests of honor, and we can’t really imagine a more anticipatory high! From soonlyweds to newlyweds there’s a beautiful in-between as bride and groom – these are the perfect match.

Gold Acrylic Table Numbers

These classic and ethereal table designations provide a clean and evocative modern display for each of your tablescapes. The printing in real gold foil ensures optimal double-sided visibility, not to mention, it adds a dose of romance to an otherwise minimalist focal point.

Bright, sunny, and cheerful, a yellow color palette gives this wedding editorial a decidedly fresh feel. With every detail thoughtfully curated by Emerald Events by Nilsa, we can’t help but swoon over the touch of sunshine infused into every element of the day. An abundance of free-flowing, organic blooms by Agape Love Events are sure to put a smile on your face. The happiness and joy of the day shines in the artful imagery by Jessica Lapp Photography. You won’t want to miss the full gallery for a closer look at all the lovely.

From Emerald Events by NilsaSince the venue was mainly an outdoor venue and seems effortlessly beautiful I wanted everything in the shoot to be the same. No heavy jewelry, no hairstylist, no shoes. Simple but elegant, clean and effortlessly beautiful, small but mighty in the attention it grabs

The mobile bar provided an intimate lounge area for guests to mix and mingle, either serve yourself on the bar cart or get served by the bar. The candle favors are meant to bring some calm and serenity to the home that we’ve all had to stay in for a year.

I wanted the main color to be yellow as yellow symbolizes happiness, optimism, and enlightenment. After everything we have all been through in 2020, I wanted to look to the future with optimism and happiness.

From the bride… Jack and I met at Duke University Hospital across a trauma bay in the emergency department. It was Jack’s first year as an orthopaedic surgery resident and I was the nurse in charge of that bay. There was an instant connection but (of course!) we had to be professionals and take care of the patient between us. Two weeks went by and I ran into Jack on his last week of his emergency department rotation, talk about fate! Jack asked me out on the spot.

On the day of our wedding, it was truly magical seeing all the pieces come together. I loved all the rich lush greenery in Tulum when Jack and I visited there. We had the best trip and I wanted to incorporate some of that energy into our wedding. The florals were the highlight of the decor and it brought me great joy to hear guests say it looked like a jungle.

Overall, my advice is classic. Enjoy it all. What matters is that you are getting married and you are surrounded by friends and family that love you. It makes me emotional thinking back to how all of our favorite people gathered to celebrate our love. The day may have been a blur, but I will never forget how I felt.

The Magic of This Beautiful Burgundy, France Wedding Will Leave You Blushing!

Jennifer Fox Weddings and Giacomelli Weddings teamed up to design this wedding in the heart of Burgundy that articulated love with romantic refinement and a vintage flair! Florésie’s blooming blush florals danced to the sweet melody of the piano and harp at the breathtaking Domaine de l’Abbaye Maizières. Love was felt all around, and every delicate detail was thoughtfully curated for a graceful yet cozy atmosphere. From Silent Word Studio’s monogrammed invitations to the pastel perfection of Velvet Rendez-Vous & Madame de la Maison’s table settings! Escape to a world of beauty and finesse where even the bride’s dress is blushing in the full gallery, preciously captured by Maïlys Fortune Photography.

From Jennifer Fox Weddings In a world that has been through so many emotions lately, our vision of gatherings has undeniably changed. However, not everything has been doom and gloom. Where some could have taken a bleak perspective, I decided with Giacomelli Weddings and this beautiful team to remind our future brides and grooms that what’s important at the end of the day is simply love. These past years, the notion of home has taken a completely different meaning. Home was our bedroom, our office, our joys, our lows, home has literally been everything to us, every moment, every memory.

Therefore, we wanted to create a wedding at home away from home. That’s why we decided to plan this magical day at le Domaine de l’Abbaye Maizières in Burgundy. A more intimate venue creates a cozier atmosphere where love can be felt at each instant. And what better place could carry this spirit than this breathtaking self sustainable house in the middle of the vineyards. However, this graceful journey started way before the big day. Silent Word Studio crafted unique paper products by hand with a monogram logo liner where the wax seal was incorporated with the ribbon. A pure work of refinement and delicacy.

We wanted the guests to dream of this day before even attending it. To greet our attendees, a welcome gift made of regional offerings seemed to be the best way to escape to this world of beauty and fineness. Our floral designer Floresie brought the ultimate touch of spark while creating a dance between the piano and harp of Discotecnik and her flowers. They appeared as one entity as if each note was playing with every single petal and carried away in the air with the delicate spring fragrance. Collaborating with Velvet Rendez-Vous & Madame de la Maison allowed us to design a utterly romantic table setting playing with pastel pink and green hues. Romantic with a vintage flair, each and every detail has been minutely chosen.

Synie’s cake was no exception to the intimate atmosphere. Elegant yet scrumptious, the delicacy was to be felt until the end. Our beautiful bride woke up realizing her dream was about to become reality in her lovely gowns from Mademoiselle Reve & Belle en Blanc (Berta). A final makeup touch from En Apparté, she stepped into her Bella Belle shoes, and with excitement and felicity that the videographers 3 Petits Points beautifully captured, she was finally ready to say “I do” to her handsome groom in a Morétau Lyon Tuxedo. This day will last forever in our memories, but when we might forget some details, a glimpse at Maïlys Fortune Photography beautiful images will bring us in a second to this precious day.

This Flower Forward Georgia Wedding Has Love In Full Bloom

This classic and elegant Swan House wedding is sure to stand the test of time. Krissy Campbell worked closely with our couple to design a day that not only dazzles but also shows their deepest appreciation to family and friends for celebrating with them. The invitations and day of stationery were designed and calligraphed by the bride herself, a truly personal touch as the couple wrote each guest an individualized note placed at each seat along with the dinner menu. From the fountain cascading with blooms to the reception covered in an abundance of fabulous flowers, Thorne and Thistle Designs created magic at every turn. You can feel the love bursting out of the artful imagery by Bonphotage. Visit the full gallery to fall in love.

From Krissy CampbellAfter hearing about Ariel and Jordan’s love for nature, travel, history, and architecture, we knew it would be fitting to start with a neutral color palette, keeping in line with their timeless taste. It was also extremely important to them to create original moments, integrate their families, ensure their guests felt personally appreciated, and to find space alone for the two of them that day. All of this gave us a wonderful foundation to work with as we designed the experience alongside them.

We worked with talented floral designer, Thorne and Thistle, to create stunning floral vignettes that flowed naturally throughout each space at the Swan House – from cascading arrangements down the fountain to flowing pops of greens and softly colored florals and candles through cocktails and dinner tables.

As you can see through the beautifully captured photos and video from the Bonphotage team, Ariel and Jordan were incredibly thoughtful as they chose each detail of their celebration from beginning to end. The aesthetic and beauty was only heightened by the intimate moments between them and the intentional touches added for their loved ones.

A Floral Umbrella And Fall Romance at the Maxwell House

It doesn’t get more beautiful than this fabulous taste of fall. Radiant Love Events used shades of peach, mauve, dusty rose and purples to create a softer palette of classic autumns hues and the result is mesmerizing. Every statement-making floral piece by Sunrise Blooms is not just stunning but also crafted without using any foam for sustainability, including the not-to-be-missed floral umbrella! The magic of the day is artfully captured in the imagery by Alison Bryn Photography. You’ll fall in love with fall in the full gallery.

From Radiant Love EventsWhen I started to design the shoot, I wanted the design to be cohesive with the structural detail of the venue. There is so much inspiration from the Maxwell House, from the history and architecture to being surrounded by the beautiful greenery of the garden space. I knew that I wanted to keep things elegant and everlasting to the space.

We knew that wanted to showcase ideas that really brought in that wow factor. This included the bridal floral umbrella, the perfect accessory for any bride that is in love with floral art. The structure of this piece created such a feeling of romance and femininity. To add to this, we also did a bridal flat lay by taking pieces from the ceremony structure at the end of the shoot to create an original piece of art for the bride.

I wanted to create a sweet and savory celebration cart to focus on the bride and groom’s favorite treats. It’s Graze-y created his and her calligraphed charcuterie boards which included French macarons, lemon bars, grapes, strawberries, salami, baguettes, artisan cheeses. There was also a 2 tiered brie cheesecake with grapes, peaches, kiwi, and berries. Wine glasses filled with rosé with dried edible rose petals, the bride’s favorite flower.

This Summer Forest Wedding Was Inspired by the Rolling Blue Ridge Mountains

The only thing more majestic than a mountain range is this wedding inspired by one! Heather Benge Events designed a day that dazzles filled with a cool-toned color palette and fresh, organic touches. Leave it to Blomst Floral Design to fulfill all our flower fantasies, with an indoor ceremony bursting with blooms and a reception table lined with free-flowing wildflowers. The beauty of the day was artfully captured in the imagery by Lauren Kearns Photography. Visit the full gallery for a closer look inside.

From Be Inspired PRInspired by the rolling landscape of the Blue Ridge Mountains in summer, this cool-toned styled shoot combines the clean yet organic vibes of a summer wedding in the mountains of Virginia.

In lieu of the ever-favored “garden party,” the tablescape is as much about the ambiance of the surrounding forest and hills, in this windowless white barn, as it is about the canopy of wildflowers running down the long table mirrored by hanging wicker baskets overhead.

Elements of ivory and dusty rose, accented with fresh blueberries make this summer wedding inspiration perfect for the classy country girl.

Why Have One Wedding Cake When You Can Have Six?!

Simple, organic, classic and sweet… definitely sweet! These are just a few words that come to mind when admiring this day to remember planned to perfection by Weddings by Susan Dunne. From the blooming chuppah alive with greenery and lush white blooms by Mulberry & Moss to the six (that’s right… SIX) wedding cakes from the family’s favorite bakery, SusieCakes – this wedding has plenty of sweetness to go around! Indulge at the full gallery captured by Anya Kernes Photography!

From the bride… We are both very simple people who love to spend time outdoors in nature – running, hiking, surfing. We wanted a very simple, organic wedding with a lot of greenery, which our wedding planner and florist were able to perfect. In regards to color palette, we envisioned neutral colors including creams and ivories. I was very hesitant to include color, but Susan was able to talk me into incorporating a few subtle green elements, like the napkins and name cards – I’m glad she succeeded in convincing me! Our wedding contained the traditional Jewish customs that were most important to us, including signing of the ketubah before the ceremony. We had our bridal party recite the seven blessings.

To incorporate our parents into the ceremony, our officiant, Cantor Marc, added a unique element, having them recite a blessing while draping us in a tallit, the Jewish prayer shawl. Cake is a big part of the Eisenbud family and SusieCakes has long been our favorite bakery, so we couldn’t pass up on the opportunity for our wedding. We did a combination of chocolate, vanilla and marble cakes.

Aaron didn’t want a traditional “slow love song.” We were on a week-long roundtrip through the Utah national parks and probably listened to every possible first dance song. We ultimately chose this song because the lyrics aligned with our relationship and Aaron approved of the tempo. It was an all-consuming process for a solid 6 months, and that was with a wedding planner! We are not a couple that ever fights, but planning our wedding definitely added a new dimension to our relationship and led to a lot of bickering – one of the more frequent disagreements was Aaron wanting to just relax after work while Lauren knew they had to be wedding productive.

Just be patient with each other, because the wedding day itself makes the whole process completely worth it. And we never could have put together this wedding without such an incredible wedding planner – be sure you find a wedding planner that gets your style! If you’re unable to hire a wedding planner until the month, or even day of, be sure to create a timeline and stick to it – it makes those last few weeks before the wedding much more enjoyable rather than stressful. Our wedding was far more incredible than we could ever have imagined and perfectly embodied who we are. The ceremony was filled with laughter and we were surrounded by everyone we love.

From Anya Kernes PhotographyBringing the outdoors in while keeping an elegant and refined aesthetic was the goal for the overall design of the wedding. Rich wood elements combined with wild greens, ferns, moss and beautiful garden blooms created an outdoor atmosphere with a modern twist.

A Visually Stunning Celebration Paying Tribute To Pride

This editorial celebrates all things pride with a special spin on tradition. Bright pops of color are mixed with subtle hues, for a dusty rainbow color palette we can’t get enough of. From the dapper dogs to the glassware in mixed colors, 2Chic Events + Design designed a day where style meets fun. Just one look at the rainbow flowers hanging above a table covered in a floral runner of rainbow blooms all dreamed up by The Posh Posey will have you falling in love. The entire day is lovingly captured in the artful imagery by Stephanie Lynn Co. Be prepared to swoon over every single image in the full gallery.

From 2Chic Events + DesignOur vision with this shoot was to step away from what some might call a traditional “pride” look and add a soft and romantic vibe while honoring all that pride means to us and our couples. We didn’t want to shy away from the variation of color that was a big part of our inspiration but wanted to put our own unique spin on incorporating a range of colors.

Set against a crisp backdrop of whites and neutrals, we chose a dusty rainbow palette for the flowers and accent decor, which included pops of bright color mixed in with more subtle tones. We love the idea of stepping outside of the box when it comes to variations in colors and mixing things up.

Different colors of glassware on the tabletop mixed with classic elegant elements created a fun and romantic look. And, of course, lighting is such a big part of any atmosphere that we create. We mixed it up by using several soft variations of color in our lighting to complete the ambiance in the room. In addition to our design inspiration, we were also greatly inspired by our real couples’ love story.

Wander Through Wild Beauty and Romance With This Lush English Garden-Inspired Editorial!

Talk about a wild romance! Sae of Ophelia Floral Co. took inspiration from an overgrown English garden and dreamed up a flourishing haven to spotlight her favorite florals – hellebores, clematis, and garden roses – and rich, daring purple and green tones. With the coordination of Amorette Events Co., Sae infused cool-tone elements into the bespoke tablescape and incorporated a custom-built arch by Enticing Tables to create a flower-filled escape of love and serenity. Stop by the full gallery to take in all the botanical beauty, stylishly photographed by the talented Kelsey Cowley.

From Ophelia Floral Co.… For this editorial, Sae of Ophelia Floral Co. Was inspired to bring her secret garden vision to life – a wildly romantic, overgrown, and intimate English garden that one could come across away from prying eyes. As a floral visionary, Sae wanted to focus on primarily on purple and green tones, colors that many recent couples shy away from, and she put heavy emphasis on some of her favorite flowers: hellebores, clematis, and garden roses.

We started with a towering ceremony site built from a custom, pointed arch from Enticing Tables, which Ophelia Floral Co. Used to create a botanical haven through the use of unruly greens and lush florals. We put an emphasis on rose lilys and created an atmosphere of walking into an overgrown hidden garden. We paired it with some vintage wooden chairs, courtesy of Adore Folklore to hone in on our garden theme. Our lovely bride wore a stunner of a gown from Sarah Seven, modern and chic in design with off-the-shoulder, long ruffle sleeves, and a dramatic cape, which matched perfectly with some sleek heels from Bella Belle. Beauty Bespoken created a soft, natural look to pair with the bride’s beautifully bouncy, natural curls.

Our tablescape was an intimate dinner for 8, using a simple wooden table as our base, on which Ophelia Floral Co. Created a lush floral runner that spanned across the table. We used deep sea blue plates from Catalog Atelier to bring in more cool tones with black accents to add depth. The endlessly talented Epoch Design created modern beige menus to complement the wood in the table. Our bride then changed into a second, more classic dress, for which Beauty Bespoken created a sweet, romantic bun. During the depths of covid we wanted to create a magical escape. Somewhere we could dream up a hidden garden & escape to a world of love, serenity & flowers.

All-in-all, a beautiful editorial that the talented Kelsey Cowley photographed Sae’s vision beautifully, with her sharp and modern-chic style that’s always full of depth and evoked emotion.

This Stunning Desert Wedding Is Filled With Dreamy Details

Say hello to the dreamiest of desert weddings set in Arizona against Camelback Mountain. Revel Wedding Company coordinated a day that will be forever held in the hearts and minds of our couple Tara and Tanner. Beautiful scenery, seasonal cuisine, and an abundance of romantic blooms designed by The Flower Studio combine to create the most magical of wedding days. The love shines in the artful imagery by Kelly Hornberger Photography. Make sure to visit the full gallery for a closer look at all the fun.

From Kelly Hornberger PhotographyTara and Tanner are two Americans living and loving life in London who happened to meet on an app and then realized they went to the same church together. After dating for 2 years and surviving an intense COVID lockdown in London together, Tanner jumped at the chance to propose on a trip to the Scottish Highlands.

From the beginning, they knew they wanted a wedding in Arizona and that it would be a challenge to plan a destination wedding during a pandemic. They chose to have the wedding at El Chorro to give their traveling guests the ultimate Arizona experience with the stunning desert, delicious fun food, and perfect weather!

Tanner’s parents are flower farmers and blew everyone away with the gorgeous florals. A big highlight of the night was the beer burro who brought smiles to guests’ faces and kept it to the Arizona theme.

This Couple’s Savannah Fête Will Charm You with Its Formal Meets Fun Festivities!

Bethany and Jesse’s wedding fête was filled with festivities, endearing touches, and a show-stealing furry ring bearer in Savannah, GA — the city that stole the couple’s hearts! The talents of Design Studio South and Gray Harper Florals’ muted arrangements with pops of burgundy accentuated the natural beauty of the intimate garden where the couple tied the knot. After the ceremony, a soulful, New Orleans-inspired parade kicked off a lively night at the Mansion on Forsyth Park complete with a bourbon and cigar bar. Relive the mesmerizing charm and romance of this formal yet fun celebration in the full gallery, vividly shot by Kati Rosado

From Kati RosadoBethany and Jesse’s destination wedding highlighted the charm and romance of Savannah, Georgia – a location with both family ties and precious vacation memories, like visiting every Christmas, that quickly stole the hearts of this couple. The historic and natural beauty of this city set the most perfect backdrop for this couple to say “I do!”. Although the couple initially planned to have the ceremony at Forsyth Park, a quick pivot was made to a nearby private garden due to COVID restrictions.

The private garden screamed romance with its natural awe and wonder. To make sure we accentuated rather than transform this incredible space, we chose soft colors + patterns with subtle pops of bold burgundy flowers in the Gray Harper Florals’s arrangements to keep the party going. A bold floral design wasn’t all this couple had in mind for a party. This couple celebrated “tying the knot” with a second line band (@Equinoxorchestra), giving off a New Orleans vibe, that led a parade featuring the newlyweds through the streets of Savannah back to Forsyth Park for a final round of celebration at the Mansion on Forsyth Park. We wanted to carry the intimacy from the private garden inside and push the formal romantic vibe through to the reception space while continuing to keep the fun atmosphere which included a bourbon and cigar bar! To accomplish the romantic vibe at the reception, we canvassed the venue with subtle pink linens, plenty of lit candles, gold metals, and deep red/pink tones in the table arrangements.

We valued the intimacy in this COVID restricted, destination wedding and ensured that personal details of the couple were scattered throughout the ceremony. A handmade quilt honored the bride’s mother, and a pot of pansies signified their shared sorority. Every detail in this wedding shared more and more about this darling couple. The star of the show, however, was undoubtedly the couple’s fur baby who appeared dressed to the nines in his very own tux. This sweet pup carried several roles as both the inspiration of a specialty cocktail at the reception and as a featured ring bearer during the ceremony.

The romance and fun felt on the wedding day was enough to carry us to the moon! Despite the challenges faced planning a wedding during COVID, Bethany and Jesse made sure every touch remained intimate, personal, and full of vibrant celebration. We were thrilled to partner beside them to make sure the whole show went down without a hitch and fulfilled their wildest destination dreams!

Southern Charm Wedding at the Memphis Hunt and Polo Club

Stunning details and a garden’s worth of romantic blooms make this southern charm wedding an absolute must-see. Mona Dunlap set out to transform the Memphis Hunt and Polo Club into the perfect backdrop for this couple’s big day and the result has us speechless. From the open-air ceremony to the breathtaking reception with greenery and blooms dripping from the chandeliers, Garden District Flowers filled the day with the most spectacular floral moments. The elegance of the day was artfully captured in the images by Taylor Square Photography. Head to the full gallery for a closer look at all the fabulous.

From the bride… My mother made her own preparations, and she decided to follow an old southern tradition that is supposed to ensure good weather on your wedding day. The old wive’s tale states that burying your bourbon will keep the rain away on your big day. The weather forecast leading up to our wedding was a bit scary. However, just as mom promised, the weather on our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect! My mom’s buried bourbon worked its magic once again!

I remember feeling excited and nervous as I got ready to walk out for the first look. When I walked outside, and William turned around, he was so surprised and happy to finally see me in my dress. Even though we know each other so well, we both still had butterflies at the moment. It was a really sweet and special time for us to take a moment for ourselves. We hugged and laughed, and everything just felt right. Our first look definitely helped to put us at ease and is a memory we will cherish forever!

Our wedding was largely inspired by the beauty of nature and God’s creation. I wanted to use a lot of natural elements as our backdrop, with pops of my favorite design elements scattered throughout. We wanted the wedding to be not only beautiful, but we wanted our guests to feel welcomed and at ease. Everyone has had a hard year during quarantine, so we wanted to bring back the feeling of joy in the community and Southern hospitality.
