We could probably tour sweet nurseries for the rest of our days and never, ever get sick of it. They're just so dang magical and this latest installment designed by Lacey Michalek Interiors is absolutely no exception. It blends mid-century modern with blushing pink wallpaper used in the most unexpected way. The result is bright and airy with the sweetest sense of whimsy. This young couple was expecting their first child and wanted her room to be light and bright and something that could stand the test of time. I started working with these clients when they had just found out they were pregnant with a little girl and we just completed it about 1 week before the due date.
The room had great bones, a large layout and high ceilings with beams. We wanted a modern eclectic fresh vibe for this sweet baby girl. This room is all about small thoughtful touches.
The vintage dresser refinished in a more modern color with gorgeous aged brass hardware, the modern pink and gold wallpaper to freshen up the bookcase and the custom artwork created by the couples favorite artist made this room unique to her!
