'Tis the season for holiday fetes and this inspiration is adding a gorgeous glam spin to traditional decor. Red and green are met with vibrant jewel tones, acrylic wreaths (my personal fave) and a tabletop that sparkles with gold details. Pore through this festive shoot masterminded by A Charming Fete, Andrew Thomas Design, Grace + Polish and Lauren Gabrielle Photography and get ready to add some sparkle and shine to the season.
From Grace + Polish Interior Design...This year for the holidays we collaborated with our talented friends, A Charming Fête and Andrew Thomas Design to create a luxe jewel tone, festive dinnerscape. I love to showcase my home for a local home tour during holiday season and this year we wanted to take on a more glam feel. The graphic metallic wallpaper, taupe velvet drapes and dark wood floors in my dining room served as a perfect modern space with lots of natural light. Our curved staircase was a picturesque backdrop, dripping with fresh cedar, pink pepper berry and crystal snowflake ornaments strung on emerald velvet ribbon, created with Andrew's special touch. A Charming Fête put together a chic tablescape with a soft textured neutral champagne linen, formal gold china and speckled gold stoneware plates which paired perfectly with the white Louis dining chairs. Vintage gold rimmed coupes and gold calligraphy placecards tied-off with emerald velvet ribbon were a personalized touch and the lush plum toned florals really popped, dripping onto the table. Modern brass taper holders paired perfectly with Andrew's jewel tone centerpiece brimming with red peonies, burgundy ranunculus and white french tulips. The most delicious homemade plum galette from Tradishions was equally beautiful and tasty served with honey and fresh whipped cream. Andrew created his signature acrylic wreaths accented with pepper berry and ribbon to hang from the windows for a clean, modern accent.
