When you're an event planner, throwing a fabulous party comes with the territory; especially when it involves your bundle of joy and a fun gender reveal. To celebrate the announcement of Team Boy or Team Girl, Katelyn of Kate Rose teamed up with Bouquets Floral Design and Brittany Jean Photography to throw a bohemian inspired shindig. And it comes complete with a confetti ending. Boy or girl? Click through the gallery to find out!

When I found out I was pregnant, it was no question that I was going to make every event during this pregnancy, a big celebration. I mean, it is what I do for a living! I did not want the traditional pink vs blue for our gender reveal, so I went with peach for girl and grey for boy. For design, I went with a "Growing our Tribe" theme which included boho touches. Guests were greeted with a lounge including a teepee, cowhide, shag chairs and a fun assortment of throw pillows. The teepee was a sweet handmade gift from my friend Connie. The cake table was close to the lounge and the cakes were displayed on a painted spool. I love the texture of the spool against the shiplap. Lily's Cakes made the two cakes and Bouquets provided the floral. We offered a signature peach cocktail, with wooden arrow drink stirrers and served the cocktails in vintage amber goblets. The cocktail was served on a cute bar cart from Target and the food was served on a vintage bamboo shelf to bring in the boho look. Guests gathered around the cocktail tables to enjoy each other and finger foods. Hardwood and Lace created a custom hand painted sign for above the fireplace which was accented with a peachy pink vase full of greenery. We had another lounge for guests to sit that included a vintage grey settee, two white cane back chairs and of course, super cute shaggy pillows. We had our guest guess the gender by putting their name on whichever feather color they thought the baby would be... Peach for girl, grey for boy. They then tied their feather onto the dream catcher. Bouquets did amazing on the floral. Each floral piece was lush, and colorful yet sweet at the same time. My favorite piece was the large floral hoop. To reveal the gender, we ordered 35 confetti cannons with custom peach confetti. We did not know the gender ahead of time, but our sweet friend Suzi helped us out. We all popped off our confetti sticks and peach confetti went EVERYWHERE! We are so excited to be having a sweet little girl! Right after the confetti reveal, we popped a bottle of champagne and passed out peach cotton candy cocktails to celebrate our baby girl! Such a fun way to celebrate!
