Donuts and blooms. A crazy cute party theme that I'm pretty sure is appropriate for any age (why didn't I do this for my 30th?), but made uber adorable by Soo Kim Photography for her daughter's birthday. Complete with a super easy picture ledge backdrop (genius!), bottles of single stems and a mini 'hooray' balloon sign to boot, let every pin-worthy bit in The Vault inspire your next soirée!
From Soo Kim Photography... My daughter's birthday is one that I especially look forward to planning each year, as she is such a girly girl even at such a young age that I get to fill my creative heart with all things pretty.
For Noelle's 3rd birthday, I really wanted to incorporate her love for flowers in a unique way. She even came with me to the flower shop to help pick out the flowers for her cake table. We also couldn't leave out her new favorite dessert—donuts!
Utilizing the picture ledges we were using to hold Noelle's favorite books, we put individual stems of flowers in small vases, draped a garland to pull the entire tablescape into focus and added some gold lettered balloons for a festive touch.
Donuts being the main dessert, I really wanted to put mini baked donuts on top of her birthday cake. We bought a plain white cake from our local supermarket and decorated it with colorful sprinkles, edible gold and a great hand-lettered cake topper really added that extra special something to the entire table.
