Brace yourselves brunch goers, this one next level. And I'm totally stealing the idea. As if floral from 1956blooms atop this table aren't lovely enough on their own, one brass fox styled a gathering that allows each lady to select a signature Fresh scent of their own. Adorbs, right? I'm obsessed with the concept. Feast your eyes on more of this brunch pretty from Amy Emily in The Vault!
From one brass fox... This summer fragrance brunch blends the beauty of an elegantly styled occasion with sweetly personalized elements. We intentionally crafted this concept as a versatile one, effortlessly lending itself to be the ideal setup for bridal showers, bachelorette parties, birthday soirees and more. Whether just a gathering of girlfriends or an extravagant celebration, guests are invited to enjoy a sumptuous meal and select a signature fragrance that suits their taste.
Photographer Amy Emily, calligrapher Mallory Overton, and myself (Leslie Musser, stylist + model), developed our floral-adorned affair around a common passion for local artisans. From the Boston-based fragrances of Fresh cosmetics to the Etsy-sourced ceramics of Sculpture in Design, we strove to highlight the unique talents of these vendors in an event that could be easily replicated. Once the vision for the brunch became clear, we began gathering a star-studded list of participants to bring this notion to life.
The Envoy Hotel in Boston’s seaport district offered an ideal backdrop for this shoot. The property’s modern approach to luxury presented an urban oasis nestled between the city skyscrapers and open ocean. Pairing craft cocktails with delectable brunch dishes not only solidified the tablescape but also enhanced the seasonal connection from fragrances to florals. For the meal's grand finale, Desha McNaire offered a gorgeous ombre confection to satisfy any sweet tooth. And an intricately embroidered gown from BHLDN perfectly complemented the rich tones of 1956 blooms' arrangements.
Final touches for the day came in the form of a soft beauty look from Kerri Herlihy and relaxed waves by Kevin Hadfield. With the synergy of each element, we could not have been more thrilled with the outcome. Not only was it an event we loved compiling, but we're thinking it may need to be recreated again soon!
