There is usually a moment in every home tour where I fall in love. It can be as small as kitchen hardware or as big as an entire wallpapered nursery but with this bright home of one of the founders of House Of Jade Interiors, it just kept happening; the falling in love that is. Room after room is a mix of bright and muted, modern and eclectic and clearly is the work of a designer who knows her stuff. Tour the full space photographed by Kate Osborne Photography in the VAULT.

We love the perfect balance achieved between modern and traditional, neutrals and colors & bold and soft in the entry. Erin incorporated sentimental items from travels & family heirlooms and mixed them with additional accessories. The entry isn’t huge so taking advantage of the inlet was a given.
Using the acrylic console allowed for an entry table without being too heavy for the space, while layering the art added some dimension. She also paired the console table with a unique and colorful tribal rug.
In the living room, Erin created a comfortable space for her family to gather and relax. It is family friendly without sacrificing style and design. Through mixing patterns and color against the neutrals it is far from feeling boring.

In the dining room Erin created a more dramatic space by painting the walls blue, but still allowed it to be a functional space for her family We love blend between modern and traditional. Mixing an matching the dining table and chairs added a unique element and combined different styles and the lantern chandelier really anchors and becomes the focal point of the space.
Erin designed her kitchen with an airy and fresh feel, while incorporating some modern elements and unique touches. It has become the perfect gathering place for her family.
She incorporated brass hardware to go away from the standard knobs and pulls. It really gives a kitchen of any size an instant high-end feel. She also found three pendant lights that would add another finishing element to the space.
They are the perfect size for her island and don’t take away from the overall airy feel of the space. The marble subway tile adds just enough contrast without taking away from the airy feel of the kitchen and also adds a high-end feel.

The Master Bedroom is a perfect balance of serene, comfortable and colorful. She used the large art piece as her inspiration and jumping off point and then went searching high and low for the perfect items for the space. We especially love the citrus colored lattice pillows paired with the bright coral bolster.

In the girl's bedroom the design is soft and feminine with a little accents of spunk thrown in. The wallpaper really is the main focus of the room and was the jumping off point. The colors and design of the wallpaper are perfect for a little girls room.We love the many shades of pink she used on the bedding and drapes. It adds dimension and style and is far from boring in her daughter’s room.
In the boy’s bedroom Erin created a little more bold design, while maintaining and youthful and softer feel for the baby. The quilt on the bed was made by a family member and Erin wanted to use it in the room as it has sentimental meaning.
She carried those colors throughout the room and created a fun space for her son to play and read in. There is a perfect balance between soft and bold in the space. The wallpaper helps create that balance. It is just subtle enough where it isn’t the focus of the room but still adds pattern and interest.
