I absolutely adore the idea of a joint birthday party for little kiddos, particularly when the hostess with the mostess is non other than the brains behind Spritely Kids. Because you just know that the day will not only be cute but stylish too. With Homethrown La at the helm for delicious food and darling decor, this party captured by Jordana Hazel is a certified winner. See it all here.

FromHomethrown La ...This party was a joint 1st & 3rd birthday for the sweetest brother / sister duo! The mom has an incredible kid's clothing line (Spritely kids) & was an amazing collaborator. We used elements of her company's triangle logo & incorporated it into the event decor, color palate, & homemade tabletop covers. The theme was superhero/ballerina. The little girl (hadley) is the prettiest, sweetest ballerina-hopeful & her brother (briggs) had survived open heart surgery at 5 weeks old -- hence the superhero vibe for him!

We loved doing this event & personalizing it for the kids & the grown ups--our companies favorite approach. The kiddos mama wanted to ensure that her family members who had flown a long way & adult friends all had a good time so there was a homemade bloody mary bar & a homemade bellini bar to set the day off on the right foot. Also, we wanted to ensure that both age groups were taken care of. We had a 'baby' superhero heaven inside with a scale-able homemade skyscraper a 'superhero training pit' & a host of fun baby-friendly superhero 'training' activities. The older kiddos had a ballerina/superhero dress up station, two craft projects (make your own superhero masks & ballerina wands, & a glitter tattoo station. The giveaway was a DIY wood bead friendship bracelet kit to match the colors of the event (pink, grey, yellow).

Crafts, decor & food was homemade by our company,Homethrown La...food was individual organic lunch boxes filled with the birthday boy & girls favorite lunch items. each with a balloon for each kiddo tied for them to take home. The adults had a selection of sandwiches from larchmont wine & cheese, a local cult favorite & extra salads/snacks made by homethrown la. Homemade homethrown la desserts matched the theme as well, with chocolate chip shortbread stars for the superheros, ballerina tutu rice krispie treats for the ballerinas, & mini b&w cookies to honor the couples NY routes. Ombre birthday cakes were made by local fave sweet lady jane!
