From Chelsey Boatwright Photography...When our sweet friend/wedding planner Desiree got pregnant we all knew as wedding industry friends we were going to collaborate together to create an amazing day for her.

Desiree had her intimate baby shower at The Social House, a creatives co-working studio & venue, in Lake Worth, Florida. Laura, the event & invitation designer, pulled inspiration from the nursery idea board Desiree had cultivated. Desiree wanted her little boy's nursery to feel organic and natural but also have touches from one of her favorite stories Winnie the Pooh. Honey, bees, & ferns created that perfect combination. Quotes from Winne the Pooh were also sprinkled throughout the space to bring that favorite story to life.

Desiree also incorporated a little belly & fern photo that was captured at her pregnancy shoot. Her guests signed around the matting of the photo in gold. Afterwards, she hung it up in the baby's room to remember everyone who was there to celebrate the little arrival of Asher.

The pregnancy shoot also followed Desiree's style by being captured on film in a beautiful natural area with lots of lush green ferns & at her cute house in Lake Worth.

Favors for guests: Honey Brittle Favors
Yummy honey brittle was made by Janderyn and placed inside small kraft bags for guests to take home. They all had a little close pin attached with the quote: "A day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey left inside." - Winne the Pooh

Cake: Janderyn (Desireee's close friend from Earth & Sugar) created Desiree's favorite cake, Carrot Cake & Cream Cheese Icing.

Games: A- Z & Numbers for everyone to color and create a booklet for desiree's nursery
Games/Activities for guest: Guests were each given book pages that had letters of the alphabet and numbers on them. Each guest created their own drawing that matched their letter or number. The colored book pages were then bound together to create the baby's first Alaphabet and Number book in the nursery.

Flowers: Julia created a lovely floral wreath for Desiree to wear with actual blueberries in it. Her amber colored vases throughout also brought in the warm honey feel to the space.
