With a hint of gold set against an emerald green backdrop and the whimsy of safari animals leaping throughout, this wallpaper is one for the history books. It's fab and sets the tone for a playful nursery crafted by parents-to-be with the help of Curbly. And the only thing cuter than this all boy nursery is the main man himself, sweet little baby Oliver . Have a look at the full gallery captured by Kathryn McCrary.
First time parents Meghan and Al wanted to create a modern yet playful nursery for their son, Oliver, that would also blend nicely with their neutral and sophisticated home of grays and golds. For three of the walls, they decided to go with a soft gray that is similar to the rest of their home so that the nursery would feel connected aesthetically. For the fourth wall, they decided to go with a bold green wallpaper with whimsical safari animals in gold.
They wanted to make sure that the room was clearly made for a boy by incorporating the pops of deep navy and strong greens. As for the accessories for Oliver, they kept them magical and childlike by incorporating lots of animals.
Since buying their new old house, Meghan and Al have been working on a few home projects with the DIY blog, Curbly. They had so much fun working with Curbly on creating this new space for their baby Oliver to grow up in.
