Vibe: I wanted to create a cool space for my son's nursery without using the typical baby boy blue. We will be spending a lot of time in this room so it had to be an inspiring place full of bold choices + colors. It was important to incorporate a mix of modern and vintage furniture. The changing table is a mid-century modern vintage dresser that we converted. When the diaper wearing days are over we can remove the changing pad and he will have a one of a kind piece in his big boy room. The brass table lamp + ceiling pendant were also vintage finds. The wallpaper is a favorite. I decided on a colorful graphic Ikat print by Lindsay Cowles. The colors were then incorporated into the custom pillows used for the daybed + artwork. I fell in love with Brooklyn based artist Jenna Snyder Phillips' chief prints. We had one custom made for the nursery using the colors of the wallpaper. It is also something that can be used later on.
