We took an office vote and decided a baby shower inspired by Laduree is probably the best idea ever. From the patisserie to the elegant table settings, Modern Dame and Holly Flora left no high tea detail unturned for this soon-to-be mom. Who looks mighty gorgeous in her rose floral crown, might I add. If you love macarons, and pink and all things decadent and pretty, then don't miss the rest of Krista Mason's images in the gallery.

From Modern Dame ... When I found out my cousin-in-law, Hanna, was pregnant with a baby girl, I was over-joyed especially since I knew Hanna was secretly hoping for a daughter. I was even more excited when she agreed that I could help plan her baby shower. I recalled Hanna telling me that she was craving sweets during this pregnancy, macarons to be specific. So, immediately the famous Parisian patisserie, Laduree, came to mind.

Inspired by the patisserie, I started designing the dessert table first. I reached out to my favorite pastry-designer, Sweet and Saucy Shop to create a one-of-a-kind dessert table. The macaron towers, petite fours, custom sugar cookies and panna cotta shots all emphasized Laduree's signature details with pretty sugar flowers, glittered bows and roses.

I also had Brag Designs create a romantic and whimsical backdrop for the dessert table. The backdrop she created using fluffy big white roses and pastel-toned butterflies was definitely something everyone talked about. It went perfectly with the dessert table and added that wow-factor.

Holly Flora, who is amazing, created romantic Parisian pink floral centerpieces using dahlias, sweet peas, garden roses, lisianthus, and hydrangeas. She also incorporated vintage tea sets and glass cloche which added perfectly to the theme and looked so elegant.

In order to enhance this Parisian Laduree themed shower, I wanted to have matching china, teacups and gold flatware. Dish Wish's garden-themed china was perfect! We even alternated different pattern china to give it more a shabby chic look. The gold flatware definitely added that nice touch to the overall table setting. The La Travola floral applique linens were also an elegant and whimsical detail that made a beautiful effect to the dining and dessert table. Hanna and the guest had an amazing time and I was thrilled to hear that the mom-to-be was really happy with the shower and she will forever cherish this shower.
