Birthday PartyParty
This is probably as close to imagining my perfect 30th birthday party as it gets. As a girl that grew up on the water, sharing a boat ride with my closest friends and family, and enjoying a soiree in the backyard is a pretty darn awesome way to celebrate. If this is what turning thirty looks like, then I'm in! Check out the rest of the party designed by Pink Blossom Events and photographed by Katie Parra Photogrpahy.

From Katie Parra Photography ... There are a handful of milestone birthdays in life that call for a little extra celebration. Turning 30 is definitely one of those birthdays. We celebrate the wisdom we've gained from surviving our 20's and appreciate the friends and loved ones that made it through with us. It's the next chapter in becoming what I like to call an "official adult."

Chris and Kacey Pohlad decided to celebrate Chris's 30th birthday by charting a yacht to take them and some of their family and friends around Lake Union and Lake Washington with cocktails and appetizers in tow. They then invited everyone to their newly purchased home in Queen Anne that they're currently renovating. They had a beautiful table in the front yard set under a charming tent with bar service from the cocktail masters E. Smith Mercantile and an amazing dinner by City Catering. Kacey had bright yellow hard hats for their guests to wear so they could tour the inside of their new home and witness first hand the plans both Chris and Kacey had for their next 30 years. Lawn games, and bread pudding rounded off the evening all of which was expertly coordinated by Pink Blossom Events. July Floral did an amazing job of making the table and surrounding area feel not only beautiful but masculine. Overall, I was thrilled to document such a fun evening for Chris and Kacey and I wish them all the love and happiness for the next 30 years.... and beyond!
