Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And brunch is a close second! The breakfast popover is similar to a German pancake. It's light, eggy, and super tasty! These popovers are one of the easiest ways to feed the masses and to do it in the cutest way possible! For more fun recipes & ideas, check out The Proper Pinwheel! xo, Lexi
Classic Breakfast Popover
|3 large eggs||1 cup milk|
|3 Tbsp melted butter||1 cup flour|
|1/2 tsp. salt||vegetable oil for greasing bakeware|
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Using the vegetable oil, generously grease the muffin tins or 6 oz silicone cups (these are from IKEA!).
Combine eggs, milk, butter, flour, and salt in a blender and mix until well combined.
Fill the silicone cups 3/4 full. If using muffin tins, fill them half-way.
Bake for 35 minutes and then quickly cut a small slit in the top of each to release steam.
Bake for an additional 7-10 minutes. Remove from oven.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with a side of jam! Devour. And impress your guests.
