We made it to Friday which can only mean one thing: it's time to kick back, relax, and sip on a delectable bevvy. Lucky for all of us, we have just the ticket: WINK! Weddings' fresh berry mint julep. An absolute must for your late summer weekend! And in case you missed it, last week she shared her Fig Manhattan (and it's most definitely a keeper).
Fresh Berry Mint Julep
|crushed ice||5-6 blackberries (plus 1 blackberry for garnish)|
|5-6 mint leaves (plus 1 mint sprig for garnish)||1 cube sugar|
|11/2 ozs bourbon whiskey||1/2 ounce water|
In a glass, muddle mint leaves, water, blackberries and sugar.
Fill the glass with crushed ice and add bourbon. Give a quick stir and top off with a little more crushed ice.
Garnish with mint spring and fresh berry.
