Traditional Nursery Tour
July 2, 2014
Are you ready to get lost in baby heaven? Because this nursery is pretty much as good as it gets. If there's one thing I know for sure, it's that sweet little Liam (could you not just squeeze those cheeks!?) is one lucky little man. Designed and photographed by the talented Sarah Salem, there's a full gallery with more adorableness that just couldn't be squeezed in to one post.

From Sarah... I enjoyed every second of planning this nursery . Liam is my first baby and I wanted to embrace every second of the decorating process. My inspiration for the nursery started with the "Sweet Dreams" print I found on etsy. After finding the Print, I created an inspiration board and the design grew from there. Anticipating the long nights we were going to spend awake in the nursery, I wanted it to have a calm and relaxing feel. As funny as it may sound, picking the paint color was the hardest part. I envisioned a very pale blue/gray walls that resembled the sky. After going through several swatches, I decided to make a custom color by mixing three paint colors together and having it color matched. Once the paint color was up, everything else fell in place fairly easily. The colors were kept light to give the room a light and airy feel. My sweet husband helped distress the shelves, build the closet, and hang all of the pictures for me. Several of the prints and little details were found on Etsy, and the "Sweet Dreams" wire sign was custom made from Etsy as well.
